There is a Real Body Bro. Lee Vayle - November 30, 1979 1. Now for the last few messages, dealing with the subject of what happens when the Holy Spirit comes and been focusing our attention upon the fact that there are two major things that the Holy Spirit accomplished. The first of which of course was what we call the 'Vertical' of the Spirit of God which is God uniting Himself with the individual. And it's always in the singular, it's never in the plural. As the Scripture tells us, "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. [Jn 3:3] Now, over in Matthew 13:47-49, we read concerning that same Kingdom, (47) Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: (48) Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but the bad cast away. (49) So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, Now, in here we have a plurality where the Gospel is likened to a net which is being cast, and you'll see the ones coming in are in the plural. But if we go back to verses 18-23 of the same chapter, you will notice the singular is what is referred to, that though many may come at one time. Such as on the day of Pentecost, three thousand, five thousand later on, they were all one at a time. So, in verse 18, It says: (18) Hear…the parable of the sower. (19) When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. (20) …he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; (21) Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. (Notice the persecution comes by the Word.) (22) He also that received seed among the thorns is he that (receiveth) the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he (becomes) unfruitful. (23) But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and (understands) it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. Now, always in the Vertical, God deals with the individuals. Like they say in business world, from the top down, God uniting each person to Himself individually, one to one confrontation. 2. Now, we also mentioned the Vertical union by the same baptism with the Holy Ghost. And this is what is a little more difficult for people to apprehend, because the emphasis has never been as it ought to have been put upon the union of the individual with individual. But this same baptism with the Holy Ghost wherein each person was individually filled, making each member a member of one, that is one God. Now, and also not of men, or of man but of God, though some sow, some water. There is no such thing as anybody ever becoming a part of the Kingdom of God, the Bride, the true Church, except it be by God Himself in that person joined to God. So, it's a one to one wherein each member is a member of one, the one God, even as the Scripture said, "I and my Father are one." [Jn 10:30] That's exactly our case for one plus one, makes one. When one is joined to God, it does not make him two, it makes him one. 3. There is the understanding here that a man is no longer himself. That's why Paul could say and I don't have time to go into Galatians 2:20. (20) I am crucified with Christ: neverthless I live; (and) yet not I, but Christ (lives) in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. The absolute identification of God with the individual is a one to one. For anybody to spit on a child of God is to spit on God. There's no way out. They, everyone is accountable. "Whosoever offendeth one of these little ones, better he had a millstone hanged about his neck and were drown in the sea." [Lk 17:2] There is no way that there is any way that you can separate a child of God from the Father. And neither is there any way that we can separate member from member which constitutes one body. Now, we must be just as adamant in our thinking upon this portion of the subject as we're adamant upon thinking the other portion subject. 4. In John 17:11, (11) And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they (plural) may be one, (even as I and each individual in the singular am one, because Jesus and God were singular, one.) Now, this is a little difficult to begin to believe I said the other night, because of our Pentecostal negative background. But let's say It together: "I and my Father are one." Say It: [Congregation says with Bro. Vayle ] "I and my Father are one." That's exactly true. And remember, we found that Bro. Branham said, "When the Bride says that, the shuck begins to separate from the wheat." Pulls right away. Now, I realize amongst us, there are those who say, "We separate." Because some don't believe that Bro. Branham's coming back a certain way, or he's not this, or he's not that. I have news for you, stay with the Bible, will you please. [Someone says something] Thank you! Word. 5. John going back further, John 17:21-23. (21) That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, … Now notice that, "As Thou Father art in me." One! That union goes far beyond anything we have ever hoped to express. Except the prophet said, "Just get ten people in one place with the same thoughts, they'll be a Rapture." In other words, the body will go: (21) …as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they may also be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And we get into Christ, the body with the very same baptism with the Holy Ghost that's makes us one with God, and the promises we are one with each other. The union is no different as to its oneness, and we'll find as to its durability. (22) And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: (23) I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. And this is the great key that has been lost through the ages, but must reappear, because God is faithful. There has got to be a people sometime, somewhere that fulfills this that the world may know that He was sent. And that One was sent at the last time. That's why the Holy Spirit had to return to the earth. It has to be in this hour. And if it is going to take ten, praise God for the ten. I'm not a statistician, but Bro. Pearry Green is a pretty good one. And I think if I'm right on this, he said, "There's roughly seventy-five thousand people believe this Message." Right? (What's the number? Seventy-five thousand I think he said. Well, you've got double figures since then. Well, that's alright.) Bro. Branham heard there were ten thousand. He said, "I got to shake some off, it's too many." I don't care if there's a hundred and fifty million said so, but don't worry there won't be that many. 6. All right. As God and the individual is one member with no schism, no breaking point, eternal security personified, so by virtue of that union of the Vertical, there is the lateral, or horizontal union making all members one body. (See?) As in the individual so in the group, no way but Christ. John 10:1-9. (1) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door (of) the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. (2) But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. (3) To him the porter (opens); and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. (This is a picture of Jesus Christ being the good Shepherd in the sight of the Father God, Who is the great Eternal Spirit. (4) And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. (5) And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. (6) This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them. (7) Then said Jesus unto them again, (Truly, truly) I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. (8) All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. (9) I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and (shall) find pasture. 7. [John] 14:1-6 (1) Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. (2) In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. (3) And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (4) And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. (5) Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? (6) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 8. Ephesians 4:1-4, the same verses we've read before. (1) I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that (you) walk worthy of the vocation wherewith (you're) called, (2) With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Now notice, with lowliness, meekness, longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. (3) Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Now, right here there's a warning to us, that this does not come automatically. Although it is automatic in the sense of the perfection, of the perfections of the one who gives it. It is incumbent upon those who are within the Bride to begin to formulate and to have a spirit within them of lowliness, meekness, longsuffering, forbearing and endeavoring. (Well, I could blow my stack right here about present condition, but I'm determine not to be too negative. (4) There is one body, … Now, they couldn't have believed that, or He wouldn't have said this above it. Or if they did believe it there was a constant danger of falling from it. (See?) (4) …one Spirit, even as (you) are called in one hope of your calling; 9. In other words, what I've said all along is true, the horizontal is no different from the vertical. No different. We are just as much bound to each other as we are bound to God if truly we are born of His Spirit. (5) (There is) One Lord, (there is) one faith, (there is) one baptism, (6) (There is) One God (even) Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Now, It doesn't just say, "in all," It's says, "through." So, that constitutes a mighty element. That the Bride personally, (individual rather) is not only full of the Holy Ghost, but the Bride itself is permeated by the Holy Ghost. In other words, it's an in and out baptism. It's an in and out immersion. The Holy Spirit is immersed in me, and I've been immersed in the Holy Spirit. It's the same thing with the Bride. There is no difference whatsoever. 10. Notice in 1 Corinthians 12: 12-14 (12) For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. (13) For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. Spirit in and into. Spirit in us, and we in the Spirit. And this is a literal sense in which we're talking. This principle goes even unto the whole redeemed body of the Old and New Testament. 11. And the Scripture is very specific in Ephesians 2:11-22. We read these before. (11) Wherefore remember, that (you) being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; (12) That at that time (you) were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: (13) But now in Christ Jesus (you) who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. (14) For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; (15) Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; (16) …that he might reconcile both unto God… Now, it's the making of the new man individually with God that gives this man peace between him and God. And it's the same things that gives the peace of God in the Church, when they understand it is Christ in the Church. No difference. (16) …that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: 12. Now, you just keep your finger there a second, and remember these verses over here in Ephesians 4. "With all lowliness." In other words, the word 'vocation' is your true calling. We've got a true calling in this world. And our true calling is to be Bride. Your job is an 'avocation', it's a by-calling. Even the ministry is a by-calling. Five-fold ministry is a by-calling. The avocation of everybody in the body is the true calling, which is called to be sons. Now, It says, "with all lowliness, meekness and long suffering and forbearing one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." [Eph. 4:2-3] Now It says here, "the enmity was slain." How in the world if enmity slain in Christ, we've got enmity in us which puts each other out? We're going to get to the nitty-gritty tonight. How many is going to be Bride before it's all over, I don't know. I'll end up saying "There's a Bride out there somewhere, and by the grace of God I won't stand in her way." Whatever was done in Christ, in the individual has to be in the Bride also. Because it's considered one body. There is one body, not a dozen. (See?) (17) And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, (in) them that were nigh. (18) For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. (19) Now therefore (you) are no more strangers and foreigners, (and) fellow- citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; (20) And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; (not Capstone right now, but corner.) (21) In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: (Were looking to New Jerusalem.) (22) In whom (you) also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. (Presence tense, not just future, presence tense.) The Bride of Christ, the body of Christ, the true Church is the habitation of God. So therefore, as we have already said, we have not only the Holy Spirit immersed in us, but we are immersed in the Holy Spirit. (You see?) How in the world then can anybody come in the judgment? No, I'm not talking generalities, I'm talking specifics. I have not made one general statement tonight, because I am not interested in general statements. I am interested in specific statements. (See?) It's not like if I had cancer I'd bring the subject up, "Can cancer be got rid of?" I would say, "Can I get rid of my cancer?" It's personal, it's specific. So, there's a total immersion of the Spirit of God in us, and we in the Spirit, buy this one baptism with the Holy Ghost. 13. Now, also John 10:27-30. (27) My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, they follow me: (28) And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my (Father's) hand. (29) My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. Now, if he can't pluck any individual out, you'd never pluck the Bride out. Even as God will lose none, the Bride will positively be an entity and none will be lost to her. (See?) This makes me wonder why we have been, I'm not going to judge you, but I'm judging myself. And as I look around I'm afraid I get reports that I can't really appreciate too deeply. And that is brother and sister that when you consider the disciplinary measures that can be taken in a church, and men glibly talk about losing members from the church, there's not much of this Spirit of Christ, because it should be the very last resort with pleadings and tears and prayer. As Bro. Branham so carefully put the emphasis when somebody ask Lady Petras, (you know) the leader of the Independent Pentecostal church in Sweden: "What do you do when someone gets out of order?" "We pray." "But what do you do if somebody goes and talks to the man and he doesn't listen?" "Well, we pray." And he kept on saying, "We pray. We pray." Here we got a beautiful gorgeous spirit called, 'kick him in the teeth, knock him down, drag him out, take him out of the church." 14. Something wrong somewhere, not with you, with me. Maybe you too. (Uh?) Now, I'm not there saying there are times…not saying there's aren't times when you'll have to be pressed. But, as I read Ephesians here, chapter 4, our calling with all lowliness and meekness, humility endeavoring to keep that unity. That spells out something to me, greatly tremendous. Now, let us know it immediately. So, after thisdissolves all doubts and disabuse our minds that are cluttered by reasoning, that destroy faith and reality. And I say let us note and indelibly imprint on our minds this truth, the Bride of Christ is one with Him mystically, and one with each other mystically, and there is no difference. And we read those verses already in Ephesians 4:1-6. Especially noting that are great calling in this life is to be Bride, is to be sons, children of God and we are to walk worthy. And the worthiness lies in the atmosphere we create in the church for lowliness, meekness, long suffering, forbearing has nothing to do with the act, per se, as though it is the act, but the atmosphere any act. Then if you had to come to the place where someone is put out of the church, how would you do it? With fear and trembling, and the utmost crying, and the lifting up of a heart for pity. I've reason for talking this way, I get phone calls I won't tell you what. But I'm going to tell you something brother/ sister, we don't have half the spirit of Christ among us as we have a oneness spirit amongst us. Which is the preacher to grab all the tithe, own the building, beat very body over the head. Make one step and crucifies the individual to beat him into submission. Where do you find that here, I want to know? Where do I find it? Same Spirit of God, no difference. Now, that's in the Bride somewhere. The Spirit of God doesn't change. Word of God doesn't change. We have our union with each other as individuals in Jesus Christ, have that same union. 15. Back to 1 Corinthians 12: 12-27. (12) For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also, is Christ. (Notice the emphasis, many members, one body. Just the repetition.) (13) For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, (not two spirits, not three, one Spirit.) …Jews or Gentiles…bond or free; …made to drink into one Spirit. (14) For the body is not one member, but many. (15) If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? (16) And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? Now, notice this person here has a personal testimony, that’s very negative. But he said, "Just because you say something, or somebody else says something, does that make it so? Does that disrupt the body? And what if I don't believe a certain thing about this Message, because It hasn't rung to me? "Oh, you're out!" Is that so? I neither can put myself out, or anybody put myself out. If I judge myself harshly in the light of somebody else, I still can't be put out. And let me tell you flat, even though somebody puts another member out of the church because that person's obstreperous, you cannot put that member out of Jesus Christ. It simply means that that person is taken away from protective custody. And because he wouldn't listen to the hand of God, God will put him through the mill with Satan, and he'll come back, because he was always God's child, because He said, "None can be lost." 16. And when we're dealing with each other, we're dealing not with each other, we're dealing with God's property. And a steward must be faithful concerning somebody's property. (17) If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? (18) But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. (19) And if they were all one member, where were the body? (20) But now are they many members, yet but one body. (21) And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of (you, believe it my way or else. Do it my way or else. Who said so?) The Holy Spirit has many operations and many ministries. You can't stereotype him. You just go by the Word. (22) Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary: (23) And those members of the body, which we think less honourable, upon (those) we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. (24) For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked. (25) That there should be no schism in the body; … (You see, there's no schism in Christ with the individual.) And notice what God does here: He Himself by example comes behind, and if anyone should feel that he is less important a member, then what seems to be the most important member, he said, "I poured upon us a measure of grace that more than makes up." So that nobody has any kick whatsoever. Nobody can come back upon God. Nobody lacks anywhere. (25) That there should be no schism in the body; (and) that the members should have the same care one (of) another. You say, "That will be the day." No, that day's right here. It's going to be. Bro. Branham said, "If we're not Bride, there's a Bride out there somewhere." You bet, "she's glorious, without spot, without wrinkle." [Eph 5:27] All glorious within, and all glorious without. 17. Now, he said here: (26) And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; (and) one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. And one person gets it wrong, and all are stigmatized. If one person goes out and commits all kinds of boo-boos, and says all kinds of things about the Message here, we're all stigmatized. You can't help it. I'm going to tell you, If I stick my finger in mud, my body's got mud on it. If I take sip of something sweet and delicious, my whole body responds. If I put my hand on the stove and my hand gets burnt, my whole body responds. (27) Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. And Jesus said right here, "Every one of you is a particular member, because you're joined to Him." Now, that's the Word of God. 18. We found our verse back here in John 17:21, reading It over again: (21) That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. Now, a moment ago I used the word 'reality'. And that word 'reality' is found over in the Book of Revelation 3:7 (7) And to the (messenger) of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he (that's) true, he that hath the key of David, And that word 'true' is He that is the Reality. (See?) 19. Now, I'm going to read a bit from the ['Seven] Church Ages', you're all familiar with it. In page 292. "These things saith He That is true." Now this word, 'true', is a very wonderful word. It does not mean true in just the sense that it is opposite to false. (You say, this is true and that is false, it doesn't say that in the Bible.) It expresses the Perfect Realization of an idea as contrasted with its Partial Realization. In other words, there's a fullness that's here, that overlooks anything which is partial. And anything that which is partial then simply is like…points to the fullness. Merely like an illustration here. For example, we recall that Jesus said in John 6:32, "Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread. (That's the real bread) John 15:1 (says,) "I'm the true vine." (Which is the real vine) Hebrews 9:24, "For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, (but) the figures of the true, (that's the real place) into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us." [1 John 2:8] "Because the darkness is past, and the (real) true light now shineth." And that's where we stand right tonight, the real Light is shining, because the Light shines in the west. The same Light in the east appears in the west. And we showed you that in the Parousia message. Exactly how we identified it. 20. Now: Since this word, indeed, expressed Perfect Realization as against the idea of Partial Realization as illustrated in these verses, we can now understand as never before antitype contrasted with type, and substance with shadow. Take the example of manna from heaven. God sent down angel bread from heaven for Israel. But that bread did not satisfy. It was only good for a day. Those who ate it were hungry again the next day. If it was left around it became contaminated. But Jesus is the TRUE bread from heaven, whereof manna was just a type. And if any man eats of that BREAD that came from heaven he will never hunger again. He does not need to come back and eat again. The moment he partook, he had eternal life. Here indeed was REALITY. No need any longer for a shadow. Now need for a partial salvation. Here is the WHOLE of it. Just like Jesus isn't a part of God; He is God. Now one could deny that Israel had light. They were the only people who had light as a nation. It was as when Egypt was so dark that one could feel it. But the homes of the Israelites there was light. But now true light has come. The light of the world is Jesus. (That's exactly right, because Christ came back without corporate body, right at this very moment.) Moses and the prophets brought the light by the means of the Scripture relative to the Messiah. Thus Israel had light. But now the Fulfillment of the light has come, and what was the glowing Word has now broken forth in the Brightness of God manifested amongst His people. 21. And Bro. Branham said, "The Lutherans potentially had the Holy Ghost. Wesley potentially had the Holy Ghost. Pentecostal potentially." But now He is here. Brother/sister, do you realize I'm speaking of Christ and the Bride? I'm not divorcing this thought from a Bride who is surrounded by Him, and who surrounds Him. (See?) But now the Fulfillment of the light has come, and what was the glowing Word has now broken forth in the Brightness of God manifested amongst His people. As the pillar of fire gave light at night, that was wonderful, now light and life were manifested in the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Israel used to take the red heifer and sacrifice her upon the altar for the remission of sins. For a year the sins of the guilty one was covered. But that covering could not take away the desire for sin. It was not a perfect offering. It was a shadow (of) the real thing (to come.) So, each ear the man would sacrifice and each year come back because he still had the same desire to sin. The Life of the animal atoned for sin, but being animal blood that was shed and animal life that was given it could not come back upon the man. (Because the man wasn't an animal) If it had come back, it still would not have availed. But when Christ the perfect substitute was given, His blood was shed, then the life that was in Christ came back upon the repentant sinner and that life being the perfect life of Christ, sinless and righteous, then the guilty one could go free for the had no desire to sin. The life of Jesus had come back upon him. That' is what we (see) in Romans 8:2, "The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death." 22. But the Jews back there in the time of Jesus did not want to accept that sacrifice. The blood of bulls and goats made nothing perfect. It was once God's ordained method. But now Christ having appeared in the flesh, and by the shedding of His own blood has put away sin and by that offering of Himself has made us perfect. The Jews would not take that. But what about the Philadelphian Age, and, yes, the other ages too? Did they really accept this reality in Christ? No sir. Even though Luther brought the truth of justification the Roman Church, and its eastern counterpart, the Orthodox Church, still clung to works. Now, works are fine, but they don't save you. They don't make you perfect. It is Christ or perish. It is not even Christ AND works. It is Christ alone This age began the years of Arminianism that does not believe in (God) as the REALITY. It does not sing of "Nothing but the Blood," for it sings of "Nothing but the blood AND my own conduct". Now I believe in good conduct. If you are saved you will do righteously. We have already gone over that. But let me tell you now, salvation is NOT Jesus PLUS. It is Jesus ALONE. SALVATION IS OF THE LORD. From start to finish it is all GOD. 23. Now, with that understanding you apply that to this end time to a Bride, what kind of a glorious Bride will she be? She cannot only be conscious that He Appeared, but she's got to be conscious that we are appearing. You can't get away from it brother/sister. Now, I don't mean to be rough on you tonight, as though I'm denouncing anything here, but I just got a very rough way of presenting truth. But my mechanical truth is exactly what the prophet taught with the Word of God brings out here. And you receive that up here, then it'll become real down here. But you've got to get it right up here. But if you're mind is a million miles away from the reality that we have in each other, we'll never overcome these schisms. And frankly I don't know how much longer I can preach, because I can't take it, I'll be honest with you. I try to get some sun this summer, just get away from everything. And I get away from nothing. Instead the Lord gave me this series of messages. And I knew when I preach it, something in my heart said, "This people will either go for ahead from this moment on, or they'll go backward. And I believe it's the same with you. You cannot be the same again after the series of messages. If you are, it's just too bad. You're going to have to be a changed people. You are going to have to literally discern the body of Jesus Christ and understand what I am saying about. And this will give you a Spirit that will not rise up against anybody, though anybody rise against you, you'll just say, "Well, praise the Lord." You won't be blown off of a balance sheet, you’ll just walk off. Remember, I learned one thing from Bro. Branham he's the fast back peddler I ever saw. Not because that man learned boxing, like old Muhammad Ali. Now, he's a good lesson. I think everybody ought to get a hold of a tape of his boxing, and apply it to Christianity. Learn to back pedal. Learn to stay out of people's reach. Learn to do the old 'rope-a-dope-a'. (See?) Don't get caught up in that stuff. Now, you’ve got to take a stand, but that stand has got to be one of love. Because that's exactly how we're supposed to conduct ourselves according to the Word of Almighty God, see here. 24. Now, we want to point out here quickly to be in Christ by the baptism with the Holy Ghost is real. It makes us a part of reality, or realization, which is a present tense. Earthly life realization, not the future now, because it's the same Eternal Life we take with us. Over here in Ephesians 1: 13-14. (13) In whom also (you) trusted, after that (you) heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that (you) believed, (you) were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, (sealed into Christ and sealed into each other,) (14) Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. And in [Ephesians 4:] verse 30, (30) And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby (you) are sealed unto the day of redemption. And remember, you can't separate redemption from adoption, because the end of redemption is the age of adoption. So, we're looking for a glorious church without spot and wrinkle. Just like It says over here, who understand our vocation. And our vocation is to be Bride members manifested, (some members) who are here at the Appearing of the Lord and our day of salvation, lowly, meek, longsuffering, forbearing in love. Now, he wouldn't say, "to forbear in love, unless you got to forbear." Bear and to forbear. And that word 'forbear' doesn't mean 'to come against' anybody, it just means to take it nicely, nicely. Just hold your ground nicely, nicely. "But endeavor to keep the unity." [Eph. 4:3] 25. Now, what kind of talk do I hear from some people who say, "I can't fellowship with him, because he doesn't believe like me." You talk about a cruddy testimony. But a very specific illumination of the person's heart. I've always said, "You hear a man talk long enough he'll spill his guts, and if he doesn't, you listen to his wife, and she'll do it for him." (You know?) Now, this realization is shared by every Bride member personally unto each believer, and it is granted as a fact to each and everyone, single one that holds the same hope. Whatever I have from Christ must be granted to the other. That's why Bro. Branham said even concerning the unbelievers in your home, your children and all. He said, "You had faith for yourself, didn't you? Well alright, can't you have it for them?" Evidently not, if we're just going to have that problem. 26. Now, I'm going to read some 'Church Ages' some more: (This time over here in 254-256 and I'll explain this, because this may be a little difficult. Not to understand in a way, but to what we're talking about.) In spite of Luther's constant teaching against outside interference in local church matters he was not able to clear men's minds of the "Bishop, Archbishop" concept of church government. Thus, the church took one step in the right direction but still remained shackled, so in short order she was again imprisoned in the same dungeon whence she had attempted to escape. Still the cup of the abominable works was not yet full. Not only did Luther through poor judgment incite to battle and thereby cause the death of multitudes; (literally thousands of peasants, see?) but Zwingli's party persecuted unto prison the godly Dr. Hubmeyer, and though it did not commit him to the stake, it was actually responsible in great measure for his eventual death by fire. And Calvin did no less, for he demanded the arrest of Servetus who had seen and taught the oneness of the Godhead. The State then tried this brother, and to Calvin's dismay he was burned at the stake. But you see, why did Calvin do it in the first place? "You got to believe like me, or I'll annihilate you." Whoo, you think that this is something new? Oh, there's nothing new under the sun. He put that to music too, but don't put any verses to it. Now, I got you off to a bad start there. I just want to break your attention a bit, don't worry. If there was ever a time of denominational zeal it was at this tragic time. The words of Comenius describe much of this era. Comenius wrote the "ONE THING NEEDFUL." He compares the world to the labyrinth, and shows that the way out is by leaving what is needless, choosing the one thing needful— Christ. The great number of teachers, he says is the reason of the multitudes of sects, for which we shall soon have no names left. 27. And do you know, the curse of this hour is teachers? Peter says there were false prophets in the old days, so there'll be false teachers at the end time. Each church reckons itself as the true one, or at least as the purest, truest part of it, while among themselves they persecute each other with the bitterest hatred. (Hmm, where have I heard that before? Hmm, is this a rerun?) No reconciliation is to be hoped for between them; they meet enmity with irreconcilable enmity. (I don't see much difference between meeting quote with quote.) Out of the Bible they forge their different creeds; these are their fortresses and bulwarks behind which they entrench themselves and resist all attacks. I will not say that these confessions of faith—for we can admit in most cases that they are so—are bad in themselves. [Bro. Vayle whistles] (I like that, I've been preaching that for years. I got nothing against this person believes that thing for himself …?..., unless it's downright heresy) They become so, however, in that they feed the fire of enmity; only by putting them away altogether would it be possible to set to work on healing the wounds of the Church. "To this labyrinth of sects and various confessions another belongs; the love of disputation… What is attained by it? Has a single learned strife ever been settled? Never. Their number has only been increased. Satan is the greatest sophist; he has never been overcome in a strife of words… (That's why the Bible says, "Overcome by love") In Divine service the words of men are usually heard more than the Word of God. (Whoowe…that fellow was really a fellow) Each one chatters as he pleases, (sounds as sarcastic as I do) or kills time by learned disquisitions and disproving the views of others. Of the new birth and how a man must be changed into the likeness of Christ to become partaker of the Divine Nature (II Peter 1:4), scarcely anything is said. 28. We have a repeat after four hundred years: Of the (binding) power of the keys, (that's been brought up too) the Church has almost lost the power of binding, only the power of loosing remains…The sacraments, given as symbols of unity, of love, and of our life in Christ, have been made the occasion of bitterest conflict, (the) cause of mutual hatred, a centre of sectarianism… In short, Christendom has become a labyrinth. The faith has been split into a thousand little parts and you are made a heretic if there is one of them you do not accept… What can help? Only the one thing (is) needful, return to Christ, looking to Christ as the only Leader, walking in His footsteps, setting aside all other ways until we all reach the goal, and have come to the unity of the faith (Ephesians 4:13). As the heavenly Master built everything on the ground of the Scriptures so should we leave all particularities of our special confessions and be satisfied with the revealed Word of God which belongs to us all. He's saying right here, "Look, if you're full of the Holy Ghost and that Word is revealed, why aren't you just satisfied with It?" Looking to Christ at this man is, not looking Christ, you say, "Well, forget the Word." Oh, like a lady in Florida said, "Bro. Vayle the trouble is we just need Jesus, it's always fussing over the Word." I said, "Sister, on the contrary Christ is the Word! And we need a definitive revelation of Him Who is the Word." As Bro. Branham said, "The Bride may know her Mate." Now, we do know, then what's the fussing? (That's right, see?) 29. Now: With the Bible in our hand we should cry: I believe what God has revealed in this Book; I will obediently keep His commands; I hope for that which He has promised. Christians, give ear! There is only one life, but Death comes to us in a thousand forms. There is only one Christ, but a thousand Antichrists… So, thou knowest, O Christendom, what is the one thing needful. Either thou turnest back to Christ or thou goest to destruction like the Anti- christ. If thou art wise and wilt live, follow the Leader of Life. But you, Christians, rejoice in your being caught up, hear the words of your Heavenly Leader, 'Come unto Me.'… Answer with one voice, 'Even so, we come'." And brother that Call is to the Bride at the end time based upon this Message. We don't need to elbow, or to shove around it's just to come together. (See?) Now, the denial of the Spirit of 2 Timothy 2:17-19. (17) And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; (18) Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some. (19) Nevertheless … Do you realize that that has been said right today that the Resurrection is over? There's nothing new under the sun. And It said it's overthrown the faith of some, and will continue to do so. Now listen: (19) Nevertheless… Now watch this, in spite of everything which I read which Comenius said, which I have read in the Bible and commented upon, which I brought a thought or two concerning what Bro. Branham said. It says: (19) Nevertheless the foundation of God (stands) sure, (He will lose none, and the Bride will not be decimated, stands) sure having this seal, (what is the seal?) The Lord knoweth them (which) are his. And, (His knowing, He has sealed every single on in.) Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. (See?) 30. Now, the refusal to accept 2 Timothy 2:19. That this is the great Seal amongst us. (19) Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his…. Now, just stop here one second, and let's go back to 1 Corinthians 2: verse 15, which is one of my favorites. (15) But he that is spiritual (full of the Holy Ghost) judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. If there is no outward evidence, or manifestation of the Holy Spirit, how then can anybody judge anybody else or tell anybody else? Only God would know. Then how could there be a true division in a true Bride? Well you say, "There' isn't one." That's exactly true, but the people still haven't learned to have the right spirit that goes with it. (See?) Now, yet people will not stand for 2 Timothy 2:19 and believe this is what God's Word said, "That the foundation stands sure, having this seal, the Lord and only, the Lord knows who are His." Is not give to us to know. 31. We can look back at Colossians 2: and begin reading: (1) For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, for them at Laodicea, (ha ha, that's way down the line, this Laodicean Church Age. Right?) and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh; We saw the manifestation and knew that it was God, but we didn't see the face. (2) That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, … Will there come peace in the Bride until that time? No! She has got to forfeit her prejudices, and her sectarian thinking, her devises schematic tactics knitting the hearts. (See?) (2) …together in love, unto all riches of the full assurance of under- standing, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; Now, let's look at that, (I didn't write this brother/sister, but I can tell you one thing, I believe It, and I don't see any way out, except to believe It and take It. (2) That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, (even) unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ. (3) In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. And that's our day, right here. And how is it going to come? Is to admit to this right here, and begin walking in that calling, which we’re called according to the Book of Ephesians, with all meekness and lowliness, and humility, and temperance and forbearing. (See?) With attitude. (4) And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words. 32. Oh, I wish I didn't have to read this. I wish I could look back and say, "Well, you know folk, that was the Colossian church. Isn't it nice that we don't have a thing to do with that?" Isn't it…? Oh, God have pity. I got to read this way it's written, and I can't help but feel accused by the Word. Enticing words to beguile, titillated as Eve was. (5) For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ. (6) As (you) have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk (you) in him: (7) Rooted and built up in him, stablished in the faith, as (you've) been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. (8) Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. (9) For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. (10) And (you) are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: (and He's the Head of the Church.) (11) In whom also (you) are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: (12) Buried with him in baptism, wherein also (you) are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. (13) And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; (14) Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; (15) And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. (And He did the same thing here today.) (16) Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, new moon, (and) sabbath days: (17) Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. (When it comes to the body, you got to stop judging. Yes sir.) (18) Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, (19) And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God. Now, that's the same thing said in Ephesians. It comes down from the heaven. How does it come down? Comes down by the Holy Spirit. (20) Wherefore if (you are) dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are (you) subject to ordinances, (21) (Touch not; taste not; handle not; (22) Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? (23) Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body: not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh. 33. Now, right here he's telling us that the Bride's job is to actually hold the head. To look to Christ. (See?) Now, brother/sister when we talk and look to Christ, we immediately talk of the individuals who are baptized with the Holy Ghost, because He is only their Head and nobody else's. And then in a compositive way, corporate way, He is the Head of all of us. And so hold Him and say, "There is my brother in Christ, here is my sister in Christ, we are one together." But you see, we cannot hold each other, until we hold looking at Him. That's the trouble, we stop looking at Him, at His Word and seeing Him, and we in Him, and therefore we have chaos. We have got to see each other in the same place we see ourselves, with the same understanding until we realize it. As Bro. Branham said, "They are my kids, they have gone to the desert, they're disobedient, they're wrong, but they are my kids." He said about those who believe you as Jesus Christ. "They are my kids." He fostered them in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Then the spirit of the Bride is absolutely no less. 34. Again, we go to 1 Corinthians 10:16-18. (16) The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? (17) For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread. (18) Behold Israel after the flesh: are they not which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar? Now, notice right here, if Bro. Branham were right here this evening, like he was many times at the Tabernacle, and stood there as the head of the group, (not just prophet of the day, but a man related with the group that was there, because that was his church, founded it) and he stood there and served Communion. I wonder, would those who today decide that there are certain people who don't believe quite right, so they're out? Would they push them to one side and say, "Out of the way you can't take Communion." Now, as long as anybody here believes this Message and takes Communion, you are admitting that there is one God, by Who's Spirit you have been baptized into Him and each other and you are one. One day God is going to hold everybody responsible, because He said, "You better not take that unworthily. 35. [Now,] 1 Corinthians 11:17-18, (17) Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that (you) come together not for the better, but for the worse. (18) For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it. Compare that with 1 Corinthians 1:9 (9) God is faithful, by whom (you're) called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. And that fellowship is not just a one to one basis, it's a body to body member to member basis. (10) Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that (you) all speak the same thing, that there be no divisions among you; (you) be perfectly joined together in the same mind…in the same judgment. (11) For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. (12) Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. (13) Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? (Did Bro. Branham die for us?) or were (you) baptized in the name of (William Branham,) Paul (or somebody else?) Now he said: (14) I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius; (15) Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name. (16) And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other. (17) For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. (18) For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. (19) For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. (20) Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? (21) For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. (22) For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: (23) But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; (24) But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. (25) Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. (26) For (you) see your calling, brethren, (now watch, see, your calling brethren, you people over there in Ephesians, meek, mild, lowly, forbearing, so on, temperance) not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: (27) But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; That's a pretty good thought right there, that nobody should strive to be a big-shot. Any big-shot amongst us are going to be all down flat. If I try to be a big-shot it'll be manifested before it's over, don't worry. I'm going to tell you people something flat, let's get this straight, I'm not hiding behind anything up here as a curtain, I'm telling you flat, before it's over Lee Vayle and each one of you will be manifested, as to exactly what you are before anybody's taken off this earth. You're not going to hide. 36. Bro. Branham said that One with the beard up there in that long robe was a Judge. And a judge brings to light. Bro. Branham stood up here, stood before the people with discerning, which means 'to judge between' and to 'bring to light', the Word brought to light. And the people knew right then whether he'd come or not. Because they wanted it to be right or wrong. Now, the same One is judging the thoughts and intense of men's hearts. You think for one minute there's anybody sitting here tonight that won't be made manifest? Are you kidding? Look around and realize what's already happened amongst us that's been made manifest. And it's going to be made more manifest. There's nobody going to hide. Now, you show me one big-shot here. "Oh, I knew the prophet Bill." "You believe it my way." "Oh, I'm a friend of some family." (Or something else.) "I slept in the prophet's bed." I did too, it doesn't rub off. And it wasn't the bed out in Tucson, his own bed back in Jeffersonville. And three nights in a row, didn't do a thing for me. (phfft) Nothing against it, I appreciate the fact the man did it. Couldn't get any motels, see, went down there, and the Kentucky Derby was on, within a hundred miles there were no motels. So, he was very gracious and gave me a place to stay. I really appreciated and love it. But I'm going to tell you something, baptism with the Holy Ghost is not lying in somebody's bed is the answer whether you're going to make it or not. 37. And that same man who was used of God at this last Age said, "There's no big ones amongst us, no popes, no cardinals, no bishops, no this." He said, "The big one is the Holy Ghost." And right here It tells you there are no big ones. (See?) And he took: (28) (the) base things…and things which are despised, God (had) chosen, and (the) things which are not, to bring to (nothing those) that are: (29) That no flesh should glory in his presence. (Now, listen:) (30) But of him are (you) in Christ Jesus, … Now watch: the same thing Comenius said, the same thing Jesus said, Paul says, the same thing to the Scripture. What's the division for? Only in Christ and by the baptism with the Holy Ghost are we going to make it. Then dispute all you want, and quote, quote, quote all you want. Are you full of the Holy Ghost? (Huh?) And I got a little evidence as Bro. Branham brought about the fan man with the inkhorn. My evidence I ask, and do we have the evidence are full of the Holy Ghost, that we are with all lowliness, and humility… oh, I got to read It again…let's not fumble this, you know if you watch football you see them fumble the ball. But I'm not going to fumble this, no sir, I'm going to read It just the way It is in the Bible. 38. And It said, (1) I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you (to) walk worthy of (your) vocation… (where everybody is a little-fellow, and at the same time is a big-follow, because there ain't no little-fellows, and there ain't no big-fellows, they're members in particular in Christ.) (2) With all lowliness, meekness, longsuffering, forbearing in love; (3) (And) endeavouring to keep (that) unity… (in that Bride.) But he said over here, "You're fussing and you mustn't." "I'm of this, I'm of that. I am this, I am that. Here there, they're there." And I read over in Timothy, didn't I what was going on over there? Wrong doctrine, philosophies, ideas, puffed up heads, big minds, big mouths with no minds maybe. Paul said, "But of Him are you in Christ, but of God are you full of the Holy Ghost in the Bride in Jesus. Who of God is made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, redemption, that according as It is written he that glorieth let him glory in the Lord, Who is the Holy Ghost. [1 Cor. 1:30-31] (Uh?) Now, maybe you appreciate it more why he preached 'The Token', giving us far more insight. 39. Now, will you please note, "So far we've seen the failure of every age to recognize the mystical union of the body, though all claimed to acknowledge the Head." Beautiful put, I'll read it again: "So far we've seen the failure of every age to recognize the mystical union of the body, though all claimed to a knowledge of the Head." A bodiless head is not the trouble, because there's only a Head. That's wonderful, that's God, no problem. Though it might seem that there is a bodiless head, (you know) because all claim a relationship to the head with nobody else there, so if that body is segmented here and all claimed a part, there's no body whatsoever, because the body's one. Yet if anyone, and I repeat, anyone dares to try to honor the head, he immediately has to be in his own mind an adjunct to the head and a part of that which joins it. (Uh?) It has to be. The minute that anybody claims to honor the head. 40. Now, here's where we get into the good part; preaching strong about the fact there is a Head and He must be recognized, true recognition of the Holy Spirit causes recognition amongst us, that's right. So therefore, the recognition of the Head will positively cause the recognition of other parts, because anything that joins to the head must be a part of the body. It can't be otherwise. Now, none of us is the head. Paul killed that, William Branham killed it. Anybody kills that, we're not head, we're body. Therefore the minute to recognize a head, (let's get this flat) the minute we recognize a head is to recognize each other with the understanding,"the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, the Lord knoweth them which are His. [2 Tim 2:19] Before Bro. Branham died, people going around saying, "Bro. Branham knew everybody's name that was in the Lamb's Book of Life." I doubt that very much, I would see no reason for it. Another fellow had it all figured out, he knew all the names. Of course, I'm quite sure mine wasn't there, because I didn't believe in him. That took care of that. And of course, I would never believe in him, so that more than took care of that. I still believe the Scripture that says, "The foundation of God standeth sure, the Lord knoweth them that are His." And we know we are of Christ, because we believe the Message. Now, the point is, what part of the Message or how much, or how. That's never answered, it's just to believe. (See?) What's all lowliness and humility, and so on. 41. Ephesians 4:15-16. (15) But (holding) the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: (16) From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. Now, It says right here the body will come to perfection to a complete conclusion of all members, and a final growing up which is a maturity, by what? "Holding the truth in love." Doesn't say, speaking, that word in the Greek is 'holding' [Darby's English Translation] truth in love grow up unto. Not 'into' Him, they're already in Him. You can't go into what you are already into. "You grow unto Him, in all things." In other words, "the whole Word of God who is the Head, even Christ." And from Him is the vast supply of all things. Now, we know what is said of the body here, and make no mistake about it, there is a Head and there is a body. And the Scripture makes only two divisions in this particular instance, although the body itself has many members. But the body of Christ has two divisions which is Head, and body, not other members mentioned, but It just says, "there's a head and there is a body." So, there's the recognition of the Head, there's a recognition of the body. So, we recognize the Head. We recognize therefore many membered body, and we recognize that the Head is real, then the body is real. We recognize that as Jesus Christ was manifested, that Head in flesh, there must be a manifestation of that same body in flesh. In other words, it'll be a spiritual body, it'll be a body of the Word. 42. Now, the lack in believers today to discern the body started in the very beginning. We go back to the verse in Scripture to 1 Corinthians 11:29, (and I think I'm right in using this verse here, according to what Bro. Branham also said.) (29) For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh (condemnation or judgment) himself, not discerning the Lord's body. All right, and this lack has different manifestations. First of all, for not discerning the body and understanding the Word of God to obey It, to obey Ephesians, the Scripture we found out leadership sprang up and took the people in tow as to set the people against the people. (Right?) 1 Corinthians chapter 1, I read It to you. Now, Paul says right here: (10) …I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that (you) all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; (you) be perfectly joined together in the same mind… the same (manner.) Now, I don't know if they understood every word with the same intelligence, or spiritual understanding, each understood the Word. But I believe that he was telling them to have the same spirit of understanding. (See?) The same attitudes. (11) For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. (12) Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. We've got the same problem right today. You see? Now what divided the body? The spirit of leadership. 43. Now, what's happened around the world? Let me tell you flat if you're unaware of it. Certain men have set themselves up that they will interpret the Word to the people. It got so bad in Europe, that the man over there had to have the books first, if someone dared to put a book out, he'd he was excoriated, because he was supposed to be the man to tell what books to go out. Now, that was way back in 1970 when I was there. You slip in the back door you learn a lot of things. Come around to my place sometime the kitchen door is just ajar, you might get surprised. I don't mind these trips. I don't like to be called somewhere, I'd sooner go somewhere on my own and sneak in the back door. You can find out a lot of things. Therefore, Europe will be divided from America. You give me one Scripture that justifies it. Now, Bro. Branham said before he passed the scene, (I forget the number he said, but I think he said out in Tucson alone there was what, seventeen or fifty-seven, or some different interpretation in this Message.) Now, that's not right, because right off the bat constitutes some kind of leadership. That's one reason I make myself…every place I go, I am not a leader, I am not an authority, don't try to listen to me and believe me. Get off my back. I wouldn't be responsible for you for all the gold in the Vatican. (Or wherever they got it.) Bad enough to simply preach and teach a little bit. 44. But the early church was split by the spirit of leadership. And say, "Let me interpret it." Isn't it enough to just say, "Well, I'll look at it this way, this wonderful great Message, we've had a vindicated prophet, but you're my brother." Now, that's fine, I don't care what a man believes. (See?) That's fine by me what he believes, as long as his spirit's right. Because a man's got a right heart, his doctrine will be pure eventually. Bro. Branham said, he said, "I'd soon have a right heart, or right spirit, (he said) then a right doctrine." Because he said, "If I got that wrong heart, and that wrong spirit, and a right doctrine then it ain't going to do you much good." But if you've got a right heart, you'll be corrected. Then you can be corrected. So, we see in the First Church here schism came in the body, because of leadership. Secondly, we saw in 2 Corinthians 2: doctrine. And then thirdly without reading this in 1 Corinthians 12:1-21, gifts split the church. And then in chapter 4 of 1 Corinthians, read It for yourself 8:1-13, people taking personal liberties, split the church. In chapter 5 of 1 Corinthians 1-13, immorality split the church. 45. Until it's come to 2 Corinthians 10:12, (12) For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. And finally, we get that far. (See?) Let's read on verse 13. (13) But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you. (14) (And) we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ: (15) Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men's labours; but having hope, … (then what's this proselytizing about?) Why would a man leave United States and run all over Africa, God knows where else, to try to proselytize and split men's works and take over. I wonder, what makes them do that? Would they go back there and be responsible? No, but they can come back blowing, what a great time they had. Did they, if they didn't win souls and merely split congregations and proselytized? That's a denominational spirit of hell, let's get that down flat. How do I know some of you folk aren't run from someplace else, run around trying to even split this congregation? "Whoopee, glory to God, look at me." Yeah, I'm looking at you. And so is God. And my look doesn't mean a thing, but the look of God does brother, don't ever kid me. Your stand for the truth doesn't split anybody, unless there is literal sin there some, that's a different story entirely. (See?) 46. [Now,] (16) To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man's line of things made ready to our hand. (17) But he that (glory), let him glory in the Lord. Right back to my theme all the time. Vertical to the horizontal, Vertical to the horizontal. And if the Vertical is there, there's got to be in the horizontal. Why? Because the Bride has to manifest Jesus Christ, because she is the Son of man manifested in human flesh. In every Age, the Bride is the Son of man manifested in human flesh. Now, that doesn't mean we're going to be such a tremendous people like go and raise the dead all over the place. And it doesn't mean a sinner's perfection, but it means a proper spirit while we strive. Not one of us is beyond a failure in some description somewhere. But by the Holy Ghost we're way beyond this, the Vertical to the horizontal. It's Christ cherishes a Bride individually member wise. The same Holy Ghost then will reach and cherish each member in the Bride. (Right?) Certainly, it's got to be that way. Brother/sister, we got…to renew our minds, and begin to say, "yes, this is accepted truth of the Word of God." Now, because It's in my mind It's starts to go down here where the Holy Ghost can work on it. And from the mechanical, or the physical it goes to the spiritual. Just like a fellow can’t figure how in the world we were in Adam. He said, "We were in Christ." Is that a fact? Where, how did you get here? I'm sure I know some got here under the gooseberry bush, there's no doubt in my mind. There's a hybrid gooseberry bush at that. I don't want to be too unkind, but since they make these statements that are so ridiculous, I'll make a few of my own. How did you get here? You know how you got here, through Adam and a serpent, and Eve, mama Eve, the mother of all. There is a natural election, there is a spiritual one. "As in Adam all died, even so in all Christ we're made alive." [1 Cor. 15:22] Not coming this time now through the sex of the womb, but from the dust coming back. Hard to understand why people get some funny ideas. I got my funny ideas too. I don't think mine are to be laughed at. Some times at least. 47. Let's read on here: [2 Corinthians 11:] (1) Would to God (you) could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me. (2) For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. (3) But I fear, lest by any means, as (Satan) beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted… That's why this Age must repent, and keep bringing the mind, bringing the mind, bringing the mind, bringing the mind, because it doesn't have sensation. (See?) It doesn't move. It watches that Word. (See?) That's the danger place. Now, if you get heady and high-minded you got a problem. (See?) Just sit back and watch. (3) … (the mind be) corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. (4) For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, … 48. A man gets up and says, "William Marrion Branham is the same yesterday, today and forever." That's another Jesus. Well, come on, I'm going to take stand whether you like it or not. That's your tough luck, I was asked to preach here. I'll throw it back on Bro. Guenther. Tough luck there, brother. Except I'm pretty sure he believes just like I do. I think he knows the same Jesus I know. The same Holy Spirit. (4) …or if ye receive another spirit, which (we) have not received, or another gospel, which (you) have not (preached), (you) might well bear with him. (5) For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles. (6) (For) though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; (this fellow didn't stick his chest out, he just said a few things that were true.) (though) we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things. (7) Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that (you) might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely? (8) I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service. (9) And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: in all things, I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself. (10) As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia. (11) Wherefore? because I love you not? God knoweth. (12) But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we. (13) For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming them- selves into the apostles of Christ. (14) And no marvel; for Satan himself, is transformed into an angel of light. (15) Therefore, it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. 49. Now, It doesn't say you can find these things, people do a lot of evil things. They can be just as fine as anybody walked in shoe leather. But they come and try to take your minds over. See, see, see, see, see, see! And you'll sit around and listen till you get taken over. I'm going to tell you flat, I'm not smart. When that 'two soul' stuff came to me, I said, "Boy, that guy sure can quote." One of my good buddies he took it lock, stock and barrel. Something didn't ring a bell, because I knew Bro Branham did not say the soul was a nature. "Oh, (you say) he did say?" Well, you better hold your tongue, I bet you'll find out what he really did say. And you go back to the Church Ages, (that is to say, the series) on the revelation of Jesus Christ, and he said, "The soul is a nature of the spirit giving an atmosphere." So, the soul gives the atmosphere, because he said, "The soul and spirit and the body were three different things though in one." And he got the wrong circle on the inside and changed it by the Holy Ghost, so he put the right circle on the inside, (which was the soul) and the Holy Spirit's got to get past the spirit and into the soul. And when He gets down in the soul, it works on the spirit giving in to nature to come to the flesh. 50. So, I got all these quotes and heard all the sermons of him, and I went over and over, and over, and finally said, "Dear Lord God, this is pretty pitiful, You know I ain't smart, but I've got to have help. I'm not going to argue with anybody, fight with anybody. But Lord let me know, if this is right or wrong, because I don't know. Now, you can take what you want, you can believe it right, and bully for you, that's fine. I've got no fuss with you. But a voice within me said, "It's wrong, leave it alone." I could argue all day and all night. And then maybe later on it'll pound on my mound and pound on my mind, until pretty soon I'm caught in a trap. Brother/sister, if we need someone to pound on our minds, there's something wrong somewhere. The reason I'm pounding that is with the Word of God. Not trying to sell you a bill of goods of Lee Vayle, I'm trying to sow an atmosphere here, though I'm doing a lousy job, I know, because I'm pretty rough. I'm trying to sow in you the understanding of an atmosphere, that you can take a strongest stand as you want if you're like the prophet. A spiritual Muhammad Ali who can back pedal. When somebody say, "Oh Bro. Branham, I don't believe that." "Well, you can be wrong. I mean you can be right, I could be wrong." 51. Do you think Bro. Branham was pulling my leg one day? I don't know, I just kind of don't believe that. He told me one time, I'm sitting in every meeting and he said, "Listen, so you'll know what I'm saying." I sat down there taking notes every day, one day he said, "Brother I'm going to ask you…yeah…" He said, "I see you taking notes all the time, (he said) are you putting down my mistakes?" Try to think that one out. Oh, go ahead, think it out, I’m not lying to you, so go ahead think it out. Some of you folk know so much, or some of your friends know so much, you got all the answers you're so smart, and so brilliant. Stick around awhile. It's interesting, isn't it? Oh, what was I doing? I was making notes so I wouldn't forget what he said. I didn't figure he had any mistakes, I was trying to correct my mistakes. The grand master of back-pedaling, and humility. And you know something, he could come on faster and further with God by going backwards than any of us would by trying to go forward. I'm talking now about a Spirit. The same man who said, "It's good to disagree." On one ground? That it refreshes you mind, makes you look deeper. We're not here for brainwashing brother/sister, we're here to get a real spirit of understanding and love, what this is all about. Because look, if I am with Him, I am with each other. And the same Spirit that joined and deals with me, is the same Spirit deals through all of us. 52. That's why we all will have the same care for each other and the same love, the whole thing. I'm not saying we don't have the Holy Spirit, I'm just saying what was back here brother/sister is evidence that people full of the Holy Ghost, can have a mighty rough time and makes some terrible boo-boos, unless they begin to smarten up to see the broad spectrum of what it's all about. And the broad spectrum is this: there is one God Who joins each one, the same God joins each one of us, and that indissoluble union to Him makes each one of us a part of each other and indissoluble. I wonder on resurrection morning where the great Resurrection, I believe it's going to be…what is It going to be? Shall I try to describe It? No, I won't. Shall I try to give you some thoughts? I cannot give you thoughts. But just start thinking yourself, what it be if everybody in this Message, (all a hundred and fifty thousand, or seventy-five thousand) you knew they range from everything to everything, suddenly all were changed and all made it? Or suddenly nobody got a change, and nobody made it, it was somebody else. Think about it. You say, "Could it happen?" You know jolly well anything can happen. "Because the foundation of God stands sure, knowing this seal, the Lord knows them which are his." (See?) Not told for you and me. 53. Now, a real Bride is not a hypocrite, she doesn't wear a mask. A hypocrite always boasts in her marriage and demeans others. She is simply a club an organization, but the true Bride my, there is a difference there. Over in 1 Timothy 2:9. (9) In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; (10) But (which becometh women professing godliness) (and) good works. I take the description of the woman here for the Bride. That she is bashful, timid, reverent, worshipful and sincere. (11) Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. (Uh?) Well, if the Bride's a woman she's going to learn in subjection, doesn't learn by arguing, and fussing. (12) But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. You know, one of the best things in this world and this Message is just remain silent when people, (you know) get kind of feisty over certain or something. Just get silent, just get quiet. I mean, just get quiet and go in. I had to wait ten years for an answer on something, just one little point, ten years. I waited for thirteen years to hear the prophet say, "The flesh of the Holy Spirit this hour was the Word of God." The one thing I wanted to hear more than almost anything in this world so I can could place it exactly what he was saying, and why he was saying it. Thirteen years out of the fourteen. And when you go back to '63. That's sixteen solid years. All that time, fifteen, I waited for. All that time waiting to get that one thought. And how many times I had have heard it? I don't know how many times I'd heard it, it's just choom, choom, …like that actually. But evidently that was the hour to get it. (13) … Adam was first formed, then Eve. (14) …Adam was not deceived, (you can't fool Christ) the woman being deceived was in the transgression. (15) Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, … (and so on.) Now, knowing she was made to go wrong, but through Him to be lifted up and restored back even to Eden. She knows that through Him, then she will be quiet before Him. He revealed, He pre-eminent, she restored. That's a very spiritual love affair. Now that's the Bride. (See?) That's her prerequisites. Bro. Branham spoke of her, little lovely creature. Not proud, docile. Now, one mind. 54. Now, let's go to Revelation 22:8-17. I like going back and forth in these verses, because it brings us up to this hour in which we live. I read this the other night. (8) And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. (9) (And he said,) See do not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. (10) And he (said,) Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. (11) He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he (that) is filthy, (is) filthy still: and he that is righteous, righteous still: and he that is holy, (is) holy still. (12) …behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. (13) I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. (14) Blessed are they that (wash their robes, not) do his commandments, (that's an entire misrepresented statement, that wash their robes) that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. (15) For without are dogs, and (so on.) …and (that) maketh a lie. Now, brother/sister does that sound like proselytizing? It sounds like soul winning to me. It sounds like in this hour since we have come out to warn others to come out. To witness a good confession and a good witness amongst the people of the world. It doesn't sound one bit to me as though he said, "Now that you're coming out, come on see who's camp you can get, and see who's got the biggest camp." It won't work, (see?) because that's not the Spirit of God. 55. Look at Revelation 3:15-18. (15) I know (your) works, (you) art neither hot nor cold: I would thou wert hot or cold. (16) …because (you're) lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spue thee out of my mouth. (17) Because (you say), I am rich, increased (in) goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that (you're) wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked: Just a minute brother/sister, I've heard some people talk about in this Message is as though they fill that pretty good. "I've got it made, bless God. You believe it this way, bless God. You've got it made." Is that a fact? (Hmm?) I suppose, would you like to be honest with me and that, would you be honest with me, if I'm honest with you? (Uh?) Let's have a little bit of sweet…letting our hair down, a little confession of the soul. Let's just find out something. If you people had not read the Church Age book, would you have known that the baptism with the Holy Ghost and the rebirth is one and the same thing? Now, you who would have known raise your hands, show me. You're ahead of the rest of us of course if you did know. It took me four and a half hours for Bro. Branham to get that across. I told you about it. After four and a half hours, I said, "Are you trying to tell me that the baptism with the Holy Ghost and rebirth is one and the same thing?" He said, "Now you've got it Doc." But I didn't. I said, "Hold it right there." Well, I was burnt up, not at him, I was just burnt up. I 'shoo' I was shot. "I said, "What about your two experiences?" And he was just as soft, he said, "What two experiences?" (Shee!) And he told all over about his experiences. "What two experiences?" And I said, "You know, you had them?" I said, "The one where you jumped up and down with joy sins forgiven. The next time in a woodshed or somewhere, rain pelting your body, the baptism with the Holy Ghost." "Boy, (he said) Bro. Vayle, (with his finger under my nose) we don't go by experiences, we go by the Word of God." 56. Now, tell me, how many of you people, raise your hand, have the guts to do it, I'll challenge you, I'll call your bluff. How many of you knew before you read that Church Age book, that Bro. Branham absolutely was teaching all along the baptism with the Holy Ghost and the rebirth is one and the same thing? Nobody? I'm sitting on my hands too, because I didn't know. Then I want to ask a question tonight, what make us think we know so much? Now, we know plenty, because you can know this much with your one little tape, if that little washer-woman, or somebody like her, and make it. And you can be way up here with your knowledge (and it's carnal) and quote a hundred and ninety-nine, or nine hundred and ninety-nine tapes, and that's all your doing is quoting. Could be, you know, brother/sister. Now, you see what Bro. Branham preached 'The Token'. In the light of what we see today, I want to ask you, how many people really had received the Holy Ghost through William Branham, …now I’m not trying to be mean now, or hard, I’m just asking the question. Did Bro. Branham preach that sermon, knowing what was down the road. I could’ve, you know. I want to ask you a question, are you full of the Holy Ghost? Are you truly baptized with the Spirit of Almighty God? If you are, you're joined to your brother. Are you confessing that you're joined to Him, are you such character to be joined to Him? Are you further character that you confess you're joined to that brother? I got quite a job, but I'm doing it every day in prayer. I'm giving back to God, till He gives it back to me like He gave to Peter, "And I say unto you, you are Peter." For the wife gives to the husband, what he gives her, and he blesses it, and they both sit down together with it. 57. That's where be both stand tonight brother/sister, I can't change my preaching for anybody. Yes, there's a real body, there's a real Bride, not a cold, proud, dead, but living, loving, vibrant Bride that's in love with Him, and love with each other. A part of Him and a part of each other. You know, my finger loves my thumb? And my thumb loves my finger. Boy, when that thing got hit by that table saw, my whole body loved my poor finger. And my wife loved me so much, she about fainted, so she was no good to me. [laughter] But listen, I'm making a point, though I'm laughing at my wife. I'm making a point. If I am a member, and you're a member and I suffer, you love me so much that you suffer so badly even Jesus feels for that whole body. Didn't my head go into action the minute my finger had trouble, and my whole body? Then listen, tonight from now on we have a new spirit amongst us. From now on we have a new spirit. I'm not worried anymore. Bro. Branham said…"That new spirit He gave was not the Holy Spirit, (he said) you had to have a new spirit to receive the Holy Spirit." 58. What if tonight we need a new spirit amongst us to receive Him Who is amongst us now. New attitudes. I want it. You know frankly, I wanted this all my life. And I told you, forty-two years ago it wasn't the hour. A voice said to me, and I said, "Lord, I wish I were a clean person, person, a real good Christian." And a voice thundered in my soul, "Call that not common unclean which God has cleansed." [Acts 10:15] And being a wonderful Pentecostal boy with such intelligence and such wisdom. It's a pity God didn't call on me many, many years ago, I'm so brilliant. And I said, "Lord, it's nice of You, but I know better." I'm dirty, mean, I couldn't take it, but forty-two years later, I'm only too glad to take it. And I don’t care if I'm still mean, and saucy, impertinent and rougher than a cob, and you treat me nice and I've bopped you over the ears. "I am the righteousness of God," because He said so. Yeah, I got no problem, it's His problem. (Hee, hee, hee, because He said so.) I'm happy, tonight I believe it. You say, "Bro. Vayle, is there any evidence?" Who needs evidence, He said so. And He swore by Himself, and He came on the scene to prove it. I've got no problem, because you see, God accepted His Life, instead of my life. (Yep) He became me, that I might become Him. As Bro. Branham said, "Today all that He is, we are." And he was only quoting John. [1 Jn 4:17] "Even as He is, so are we in this world." Now brother/sister, the same thing that gave me that after forty-two years. I've waited too long in the sixteen years since the opening of those Seals, it's more than long enough. I'm claiming the spirit, that takes in my brethren. Oh sure, we'll have differences, no problem. And I'll be just as tough when it comes to this sin that I see around, not because I don't do it, and I do something else. I'll be just as tough on myself and tougher. 59. You know why I'm a lousy sleeper, I never could sleep all my life? Because it always worried what a dirty louse I was. I worried all my life, stayed awake, cried, everything else about it. But I'm getting over that, that's His job, not mine, I'm not worried anymore. And the same spirit toward my brethren, I refuse any other concepts in my mind, day and night, my prayer, my mediation. You say, "Bro. Vayle, how long will it take?" Who cares how long, I've claimed it now. Abraham felt pretty stupid I'm sure when the said, "Father of nations. Well, I got one, you know out there, he ain't nothing much, you know, ha, ha, yeah, sort of a mess." "You're a father?" "Yep, I'm a father of multitudes, God said so." So, this same Spirit in the Vertical is the same Spirit in the lateral, I've got It. I've given It back to God till He thunders down the corridors of my soul. Yes, you are a lover of your brethren. Hattie Wright could sit there at the prophet's feet and say, "Bro. Branham, that ain't nothing but the truth." And he whirled and he said, "You ask what you want, you got it." I'm asking, and I've got and I believe it's going to manifest what His Word said that I've got. You understand me? 60. So, listen, don't let anyone think that I'm being negative tonight, although many times I teach positive from negative. For this Message is not negative, it is in harmony with the other messages to make you realize why Bro. Branham said, "If we are not Bride, there's a Bride out there somewhere, and by the grace of God I will not stand in her way." The same prophet who could look at a Christian Business Man's meeting and say, "Oh, how wonderful that I am here with the Elect." Little white lie? No, he didn't know who they were. He said, "I never un-Christianized anybody," he said the prophet. The same one who said, "I don't call you church, or saints anymore, I call you Bride." This is the Bride age, that marches on for the Bride. "We're marching on to Zion, beautiful, beautiful Zion." And the song says, "Come ye that love the Lord." And our group say, "Come ye that listen to me." (Huh?) If you're uncomfortable, squirm it's good for you. See, I'm way ahead of you, I told everybody, "Don't ever follow me." I told them what, "Don't ever follow me, kid," I said, "If I ever stepped away from God, let me tell you one thing, you stay with God." Don't you ever fool with me. Say, "I love my wife." I think the Spirit that can say that to me, can say the same thing about you folk too. Don't fool with Lee Vayle, you get your eyes on Christ. I can't help you. 61. Remember, Bro. Branham talked about that fellow who went and stood before God and he couldn't make it, his mother wasn't there and his father wasn't there, there's nobody there; and looked like he just was going to have to go down, and a sweetest voice under heaven said, "Father, he stood with me and I'm going to stand with him." He looked to Him. But when look brother/sister, remember this thing: He never joined you to Himself alone, He joined you with the innumerable company of angels, that you are just a part of that great Life is being manifested in flesh. And if I love my own flesh and cherish it, which I do, and I pop my vitamins, my minerals and my protein, and my enzymes, and my goody goodies, brother/sister I want to open your mouth tonight and pop you full. Just as full of the good vitamins and minerals and enzymes that I want from God, I want you to have it too. And I want you to have everything I've got, because then I'll know that I've got something real. But I want to shove it down your throat, and I'm talking about a good spirit now doing it. See, Bro. Branham he could say, "Look, I hold your nose, open your mouth, I push the medicine down you spit it out." Prophet can do that, but Lee Vayle can't do that, and no living man can do that. Because see, neither one of us is a messenger of this hour, but Bro. Branham was. He could teach those strong things. Bu,t you and I come behind and we say, "I believe that Message." If I don't believe this Message. I want to ask a question: what in the world do I believe? Now, I might not quite believe it the way somebody believes it, but then he believes it. If he doesn't, what does he believe? He believes the Message. You see, so we've got to get the good spirit. 62. Now, Bro. Branham also said, "If one person in that town is going to make it, you be that one person." But doesn't mean only one person is going to make it. He cried out, "Oh, to find a Bride with such character to stand long enough in the waters of separation to get her dressed." And today we stand not in ourselves, but in Him and soon to be taken to Him even with the true Bride, and that true Bride saying, "Come," because we're going together. We're going to take our families, because it's a lamb for a house. We don't have to worry about God, what He's going to do because this is the day of Abraham, "Should not the Judge of all the earth do right? Will God destroy the righteous with the wicked?" [Gen 18:25] Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh…no, no, no, no. (Huh?) Will God save my family? Sure, unless they're absolute serpent seed. If they're absolute serpent seed, they're not part of you anyway. (See?) It all boils down. (See?) We must let loose all reasoning and misunderstanding and behold Him. For that's what Matthew 25: said, "Come out and meet Him, behold Him, for He's Appearing." (See?) He's Appearing to all of us. And the Bible said, "We all beholding Him, should be changed from glory to glory." [2 Cor 3:18] I want to ask you, who's beholding Him? If you listen to the prophet and you saw Him manifest, that is Christ manifest, the Holy Spirit. And you be held Him, and He appeared. You're going from glory to glory to be changed, ready for the Rapture. And it will be an entire Bride all of one spiritual flesh of the Word. All of one mind, and one heart toward God and each other. And no spirit of fear is going to that Wedding Supper. Nope. 63. I'm going to close now, it's time to get moving. (Didn't mean to keep you this late) 1 John 3:2. (2) Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it (never came into existence) what we shall be: (this thing we're looking to has never yet happened, but it's going to) but we know that, (that) when he shall appear, (which is now, He's already done Appeared) we shall be like him; (because we already seen) him as he is. Look, brother/sister, if I've seen Him, and each one of us has seen Him, we ought not to worry about looking too much at each other, except to help each other along. Be kind, generous and sweet. (Right?) So, listen, I don't want you to leave here and say, "Bro.Vayle got negative now for the number five message of the five he preached, because I'm not negative." I've tried to show you that in the Bible everything we're seeing today has already been there. But this is the hour when we've had our spiritual resurrection, and this is a different hour, and therefore we must be more sober and sincere as we've never been before. And I believe the place must start right in our spirits. Right in our spirits of humility, and meekness, and tolerance, and forbearance, and faith, and love. And let it be that qualitative thing within us. Then when you've got something that you disagree with your brother, it'll be perfectly alright. Then like Bro. Branham said, "Ah ha, now we'll talk it over, and it'll do us good, because we'll begin to look at the whole thing all over again in fresh." But is won't be somebody saying, you got to see it this way. You got to do it that way. I'm going to tell you something brother/sister, Paul the apostle was the only man that could stand up and say, and William Branham was the only man, but look how each one just stepped back. (Uh?) Now, the Lord bless you. Let's get a new spirit from now on. Let's believe that this night before God I am a changed man, I'm a changed woman, I'm a changed child. From this moment on, there is a difference, because I'm giving back to Him what He has given me, and I will not rest, I know He has got to dynamize it in my life till I stand here as that living Word of that hour. The Lord bless you, shall we rise. Gracious heavenly Father, we thank You tonight, Lord, that always in the eye of the hurricane and the tornado there is a silence and a peace. And, Lord, we may be in the midst of the last storm of this hour wherein Bro. Branham categorized this as the most deceitful time of all ages. Lord, we would raise a voice and a church here of utter sanity in the Holy Spirit, that we will not bow to any spirit outside of that which is a true spiritual atmosphere of a Bride. Who will be meek and lowly, and temperate, always endeavoring to keep the unity in bond of peace. The sweet Spirit of Almighty God which we already have, but perhaps are not recognizing. And, Lord, forgive me for saying perhaps because in my own case I must admit I have not recognized it, even though I knew it was there, and I have not majored in it. But, Lord, tonight we are making milestones as never before. Tonight, we recognize as never before this great atmosphere that lies right within us. And, Lord, we will see that atmosphere come forward, because we believe it, and, Lord, we expect You as we give it back tonight. You that gave it to us, we minister it back until we're sitting together supping on it, Lord. God in Heaven, I believe this people as a part of Your Bride. I believe with all my heart, Lord, the Judge of all the earth standing here would say, come on, we're going. And, Lord, I thank You that there will be in this people here that spirit become manifest. Lord, I believe it. I cannot see otherwise, Lord, because there is going to be a Bride at this age who holds the truth until it comes right up unto Him, a super race that has the Word and knows what to do with It, to know what to do about It, or keep still. That real little timid shy beautiful Bride that's in the presence of Christ. And Lord in Heaven, and since the days of miracles have not passed, and You are the God that You are of all flesh. Lord, I count myself with thoughts of faith amongst them, that You're taking my life and changing it too. Absolutely, Lord, that that same thing I'm giving back to You, morning and night, Lord, and then sometimes more than that as I ponder and think about giving back to You, Lord. I believe You're going to breathe on it as You said to Peter, "And I say, you're Peter." I believe You're going to say back to me and the people here tonight, Lord, Yes you are that Bride and you do have that spirit of love and grace amongst you. And, Lord God, it's going to manifest. We've seen good evidence already of it here, but I believe there's coming a time, Lord, when it's just going to be all over the place. Like, Lord, we see in Your Word that You said what a thing it will be. And the prophet said, “Oh when that Spirit comes amongst us”. He didn't say, perhaps it just might maybe, He said when that Spirit comes amongst us. And, Lord, I believe that Spirit is here tonight ready to possess the people. And, Father God, we open our hearts and our minds, possess us, Lord. Possess us, Lord, just as old Paul could say, "I have been crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ lives in me, and the life that I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God that loved me and gave Himself for me." As I am one with You, Lord, I am one with this Bride. And, Lord, as You are one with me, You are one with them, and we are all one together, Lord. And that same Spirit, that same Spirit, Lord, is ripening us, up to the Seed-Word-Church, the revealed Word Church. God bless the pastor here, Lord. You have blessed him. The Lord in Heaven, I pray now from this moment on it's a milestone in his life. Such a dynamism, a sweetness, Lord, in the congregation of the righteous that it just be wonderful, and people marvel. And the people, Lord, so responding, that it be just a marvel. Lord God, if You can do that back there in the day, Lord in the Queen of Sheba came to Solomon, Father, what can You do at the end time when the Holy Ghost Himself is here in fullness. The Word here and the people ready to fulfill every Word. Lord, I pray for this church tonight. God in Heaven, I believe that the Word's given for one purpose to take him on, not to take him back. Father Lord, tonight this Word's been planted. This Word long time been planted down here is watered again tonight. Father, I'm trusting that this people, by the grace of Almighty God will manifest that sweet Spirit, until the Holy Ghost comes in His fullness and magnificence. I believe that, Lord, with all my heart. Now, unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible the only wise God, be all power and honor and glory through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. Let's sing, 'O, how I love Jesus'. And remember, to love Him, is to love your brother. Do you see, that helps you realize tonight what He meant what He said, "How can you say that you love God, if you don't love your brother? And by this shall all men know you're My disciples, you have love one for another." [Jn 13:35] See, that's the thing we're shown tonight, brother/sister. And it's not out here in some great mystery. It's giving back to God what he gave us. Let Him breathe on it tonight. Believe me, brother/sister, if I had something else to tell you, if I had something else to show you, I would do it, but I'm preaching and giving the best I can in my heart is to my knowledge is what lies in this Scripture, and what lies here. Bro. Branham said, "The Bride ministers to the Groom what He has provided." Why, that they may sit down and sup together. And he said, "When you're in that Presence, (he said) he doesn’t smoke a cigarette, he doesn't drink, he doesn't curse, he doesn't sin, he lives." Now, that's what I'm trying to preach tonight. Follow me? "Oh, how I love Jesus," and when you do, don't put it in one direction, as it were be a little 'semaphore' signal. One had there and one hand out here in your heart. Amen. Let's sing it, 'Oh, how I love Jesus'. There is a Real Body (0979C) Page PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 1
