The Zeal of the Lord of Hosts 

				(Why He is Present #7a)  The Judge 

Bro. Lee Vayle   -     December 22, 1982

	Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your matchless love, the provision
You have made for us, so that we lack nothing, Lord, but in all things
we are complete in Him. Even replete, even to overflowing, so that there
is nothing that we cannot have the abundance of Thy mercy and grace
tonight. Oh, that we only knew it, Lord, by Your revelation of Yourself
to see Thee, O God, the great Supreme One of Whom we seek in Thy
supremacy, Lord. 

	Now, Father, anoint us tonight for the hearing and the preaching of the
Word, so we might give Thee glory and honor, which You're worthy, Lord.
May we be one with the Word even as Jesus was. In Jesus' Name we pray.
Amen. You may be seated. 

1.	Now, just taking a few minutes before I read in Revelation, there's
some Scripture here in Isaiah 9: that says:

		(6)	 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the
government 					shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called
Wonderful, 					Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The
Prince of Peace.

		(7) 	Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no
end, upon 					the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it,
(even) to establish 					it with judgment and with justice from
henceforth even forever. The 					zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform
this.

	Now, I just want to bring to your attention here, that this Scripture
would be much more indicative of what He is in His Resurrection, and His
Coming great ministries of kings, prince and government much more than
it would have really anything to do with His birth, other than the fact
that It says: "Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given."

	And then it projects to the hour in which we are living. And at this
time, He is, "Wonderful, Counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father,
Prince of Peace." And His government, which is one of peace without end
established on a literal throne, like unto David in the Millennium and
the Ages to come; are ordered by God. And you'll notice, "The zeal of
the Lord of hosts." In other words, this comes to us in the sense of the
great commander of the host of Israel, the great sovereign King
deliberately setting His mind and His power to do this very thing, which
is supposed to be done. And it says it'll be done, "established with
judgment and with justice."

2.	Now, I'm taking that back to 1 Corinthians 15: and we notice in here,
Paul speaking concerning after the church is in order, the doctrine of
the Resurrection has been set correct before the people. And then he
says,

		(20) 	But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the
firstfruits 						of them that slept.

	He's bringing Christ into pre-eminence as the first-fruit, bring it up
to this hour.

		(21) 	For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection 	
				(from amongst) the dead.

		(22) 	For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made
alive.

		(23) 	But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits;
afterward 						they that are Christ's at his (Presence).

	And we saw that literally took place. The first-fruits began in His
ministry in the spirit when He went down and tore the gates off of hell,
or upper Sheol. And then, when He Himself was incarnated, (that is to
say, brought back to His body) then the others of course could get their
bodies too. Now:

		(24) 	Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom
					(of) God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and
					all authority and power.

		(25) 	For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
(Now, 					this is talking of God doing this for Jesus.)

		(26)	The last enemy destroyed is death.

		(27) 	For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he (said)
all things 					are put under (his feet), it is manifest that he is
(left out) which did put 					all things under him.

		(28) 	And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the
Son also 					himself be subject…

	And we notice the word 'subdued' and 'subject', actually refers to the
same word as in the Greek, the shout, which is the military command, the
'keleusma' which Bro. Branham saw the Bride in military order. So
therefore, It says here: "that everything shall now begin to come back
under the Word." 

3.	Now, you got to remember the Word always was the Word, but it's
perverted. So, you have to have an original Word for this to come back.
That is the 'shout'. Now, what we're looking at here is the fact of
subject and subduing which (as I mentioned) is not the word that people
think it is. Which would be to take and forcibly do that which you want
to see done. But, it is literally in our understanding here from what we
know the transpiration [come to light] of the Word which ends in a
transfiguration of the Word. (Haw!) Didn't catch that did you? We're
part of the Word. We're the Logos in our own order.

	So, what I'm saying here is that God moves on the original thought,
(which we are) now manifest containing the original light. So, we're
coming into transfiguration is what I'm saying. (See?) So, that's what
Jesus came into too, you know. The Logos came from a Pillar of Fire and
the Word is becoming. He became flesh. He also took a transfiguration,
and we're coming into it too.

	Now, what I want you to understand here is this: that this process
here, which God has taken over, whereby, there will be and must be the
second half of the First Resurrection. And in this He has already
started to reign. God is literally started to take over the reign. (You
See?)

 	Now, before you can take over anything legally, there has to be a
ruling of the court. There has to be judicial transpiration, because if
it is not judicial in the sense of being correctly judicious, it is a
monstrosity. It's a devil. (Yep) It's a mafia. (No Italians here) It's a
mafia. Now, you know what I'm talking about. You cannot have any form of
corruption. Nor, can you have any form of patronage; or nepotism; or
even a despotism. (You listening to me? You following me?) It is got to
be a hundred percent with the intent of the Word. Right? 

4.	Okay, back to Isaiah 9:

		(6) 	…unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: the
government 						shall be upon his shoulder: his name (will) be called
Wonderful, 						Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father,
Prince of 						Peace.

		(7) 	Of the increase of his government and peace…

	Now, look it, when there's going to be an increase, there had to be a
time when there wasn't enough. That's right, there wasn't enough. His
government in our hearts wasn't enough. His High Priesthood wasn't
enough. Nothing to this point is enough. It's only when all things are
under His feet. And there's only one left above Him, and that's now God
manifesting in a Pillar of Fire above the Lamb on the Throne in New
Jerusalem. (Are you still with me?) 

	Okay: it's a literal Throne; it starts in the Millennium. Now listen:

		(7)	…to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice
from 					henceforth even for ever…

	There can be no kingdom without the rigidity, the inflexible unbending
Word of God. It bent in the Garden of Eden and we haven't had anything
since. We are back to restoration and the inflexible unbending Word.
God's Own zeal is now going to establish a Kingdom built upon the
inflexible Word of God. There'll be no more turning this Word, there'll
be nothing. That's why there is a Prophet, that is why He is the Son of
man; and that is why elements of the Judge are in Him. Because, before
there can be the inflexible, (how will I put it, I don't want the word
demonstration, the inflexible) execution of His Word unto where that
Word was established to go. Until there is that actual Word, and the
revelation of It, there cannot be a Judge. (See?)

	And there cannot be a Kingdom, except for the judicial aspect of the
Word. And there still cannot be a Kingdom, unless there is a zeal which
performs It. So, that's exactly why you've had what you had in a
prophet. God being His Own Prophet. Bro. Branham categorically said, "I
am not a judge." And William Branham was not a judge, neither was he
prophet, in the sense we're talking about. (See?) 

5.	Now, notice: the decrease of the prophet went to the increase of the
One Who is here. Which increase is stepping rapidly in the Judge. (See?)
Which Word of the hour being revealed and sovereignly backed keeps
moving, moving, moving. That's why we stand here always and tell you we
stay with the prophet who said, "All the time they look back. All the
time they look forward, they don't know what's going on." Let me tell
you somebody's got to know what's going on. If nobody knows better, send
a prophet back here. I don't think that you need a prophet to come back
here. Prophet already came. The Word was already set before us. All It's
got to do, is the Holy Spirit begin to move. And in this movement we
begin to see that the One Who is here is firmly by sovereign decree
according to perfect Word establishing more and more, and more, and
more.

	So therefore, whether you think you've been increased or not, you've
been increased. So many people are waiting. They want Bro. Branham to
come back and increase them. Now, I'm not saying that cannot happen.
But, I'm going to tell you one thing: if that man comes back in the
First Resurrection, an increase has already gone on, because he himself
said, "They here cannot be made perfect, (that is those coming out of
the grave cannot be made) perfect without us." [Heb 11:40b] We already
have our increase.

6.	Then, at the same time I want you to notice, because I did not
belabor this verse a couple of Sunday's ago. I want to belabor It now
for you, in Romans 8:11.

		(11) 	But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead
dwell in you, 					he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also
quicken your mortal 					bodies by his Spirit that (dwells) in you.   

	Now, It tells you right there that the very same spirit of which you
have a measure. The insemination, which you have that modicum of life
which is sufficient. "If that one Spirit, the baptism with the Holy
Ghost dwells in you…" It says categorically, that It's incumbent upon
God to raise you.

	So therefore, though the baptism with the Holy Ghost is a guarantee of
your rebirth of your part in the First Resurrection, it stills takes God
to raise you, "and the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a
Shout," which is a Message, what we're talking about, the Word. And the
next thing is "the voice of the archangel, " [1 Th 4:16] which is the
literal raising of the dead. And the third thing is: the Rapture; of
which Bro. Branham categorically said, "Jesus does all three in
descending."

7.	Now, how people then can miss His Presence in this hour is more than
I know. Whether we like to believe It or not, it is exactly what Bro.
Terry Sproule preached, when he preached from the Book of Peter. [2
Peter 3:]

		(2)	Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days
scoffers, 						walking after their own lusts, 

		(4) 	And saying, Where is the promise of his (Presence?) for since the
						fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the
beginning 					of the creation.

	In other words, they don't believe that something is happening to pick
them up. They think something is happening to them keep down. And
they're helping it by their legalism. Now:

		(5) 	For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God
the 						heavens were of old, the earth standing out of the water, in
the water:

		(6) 	Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, 			
		perished:

		(7) 	But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word
are 					kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment
and (the) 					perdition of ungodly men.

	Now:

		(8) 	… beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is
with 						the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one
day.

		(9) 	The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count 	
				slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any
should 					perish, but that all should come to repentance.

		(10) 	But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night…
(and so on.) 

	Now, It tells you right there, at the time of this Presence of God,
people are going to slack off. They're going to positively slack off.
And they're going to have the idea, "we'll, everything's going on just
the same." 

8.	They don't understand, there's an increase in the government. They
don't understand that God's put everything under the feet of Jesus
Christ. They don't know that there's a progression. They don't know that
there's a spiritual transfiguration. But, they're running with
everything under high-heaven to disabuse their minds of the reality that
He's here. They don't want that. They’d sooner have their doctrines,
this, that, the other thing.

	They'd sooner have a man come along and preach 'two souls' and then
'polygamy'. What do you want polygamy for? Bro. Branham took two
Scriptures out of context, he said, "Come not at your wives." He put
them historically in the Scriptures, two different places, which only a
prophet could do. I'm not saying people quit intercourse. You better
keep it up in this day and age, lest some woman fouls you up, or some
man fouls you up if you're a married person, you know what I'm talking
about. But listen, what's that man talking about? To incite people?
Excite people, or what they don't need. Both of his souls ought to be
dead. If he's got them. (See?) 

	Then, you've to those preaching another gospel, when they don't
understand and believe the Capstone's come down, so they can walk around
and act great. Let me tell you, there's none of us great. It's the
increase of His government, and if we die in our shoes with the flame of
fire of hell upon us, let God get glory! Let's understand that, once and
for all. (Sure!) Judgment's in the land. People don't want to recognize
It. Then when that Word comes, there's only one thing left, that's
judgment to strike. But remember, that's a righteous Judge that's here.

9.	Now, He's establishing His government through righteous judgment.
God's got a zeal to do that. Anybody else's got a zeal to do that will
die. That's what's wrong with this Message, too many guys have got a
zeal. Zeal, zeal, zeal. Run here, run there. Preach this, preach that.
Sure must burn up a lot of these guys, they want my tapes plumb around
the world. And I stay home and I say, "Well, if you can get them, and
it's your tough luck if you can't." We got ways to getting the tapes
out, don't worry. You know as well as I do, they go out every now and
then. Periodically.  But, it burns them up. Because they want to put
their hogwash on a Bride. And there's enough people stand back and say,
"What's going on?" But, they're getting fewer.

	But, let me tell you, start sticking your hand on that cart, where that
ark lays. They shouldn't even had a new cart. They simply had it on the
shoulders of the men legally given by God to carry that. [2 Samuel 6:]
But, they had their own ways. They said, "We're going to push this
thing, we're going to make it work." There isn't anybody going to make
this Message work, period! 

Now, I'll tell you what: you help your souls and your minds by praying
and fasting. You'll help yourself by witnessing. You'll help yourself
many ways. But, that won't be the answer. Because, the zeal of the Lord
of host is going to do this. He's the One that's going to do it. And I'm
going to tell you flat: if He doesn’t do it, it ain't going to be
done. (See?) Now, His Kingdom is established upon Word that is
righteously and rightly interpreted.

10.	Now, way back in the Garden, (just this side of the Garden) two men
made a sacrifice. And both of those sacrifices are absolutely in the
Word. You can't get away from it. The blood offering for redemption, and
the first-fruit signifying the blood received; which is resurrection.
The Holy Ghost coming back.

	 Hebrews 11:[4]

.		(4) 	By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than 	
				Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous… 

	What happened? The Holy Ghost came back on him. (See?) God licked up
that offering right there in His Presence with a Flame of Fire coming on
down, and the Holy Spirit began revealing to him God! Now, what
happened?

	The other fellow had a very good sacrifice too. Certainly was good one.
It was excellent, but it didn't fit in. Because, the Holy Ghost could
not come back upon it, because it takes the blood to bring the Holy
Ghost back. And this man was testifying, "I don't need the blood, but
I'm going to be heir to what the Holy Ghost gives."

	Now, the Holy Ghost gave you the baptism with the Holy Ghost in order
that you know that you're a part of that Kingdom which He's establishing
right at this hour. But, He's got to do the establishing, and it's not
your zeal, it's His zeal that's going to do it. (See?) Now, old Cain
offered that sacrifice, it didn't do any good. All it brought was
condemnation. 

11.	Now, let's look at this:

		(4) 	By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than
Cain, 					by which he obtained witness that he was righteous…

	Well, I'll tell you, what kind of righteous God let a man express
outside of God Himself? God receives no man's righteousness.

11.	Now, you get the picture over here in the Book of Romans 10:2.

		(2) 	For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not
according 					to knowledge.

	Now, they've got a zeal of God; that's fine. But, let me tell you, our
zeal of God will never take the place of God's zeal. Because, one is a
sovereign purpose that's being fulfilled by a Sovereign. But, not
according to knowledge.

		(3) 	For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about
to 						establish their own righteousness, have not submitted
themselves 						unto the righteousness of God.

		(4) 	For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every (man)
						believeth.

	Now, what was that sacrifice Abel had over there? It was the blood of a
bull or a goat, or a pigeon or something. All right, that was fine.

	Now, it wasn't what he did, (see?) it's what he believed. (See?) The
revelation being correct and in its proper order. So therefore, he was
absolutely counted righteous, with the righteousness of Almighty God.
And don't you worry, he'll be in that Bride, there'll be no two ways
about it. 

12.	[Hebrews 11:]

		(4) 	…God (testified that) …he being dead yet speaketh.

 	In other words, It tells you flat: that this man though he was
separated from God in upper Sheol, he was still able to communicate; he
still had a voice. And his voice still runs through history, because the
scarlet thread runs through history. That it takes a revelation of the
Word in order for you to be pronounced righteous. (See?) Your acts. 

	Now, the Bible tells in the last day, over there in the Book of Malachi
there's no such thing as people… oh, let's read It. Let's see their
condition.  

	Now: [Malachi 3:]

		(7) 	…from the days of your fathers (you're) gone away from (My
Word)                          			mine ordinances, and have not kept
them. Return unto me, and I will 					return unto you, saith the LORD.
But (you) said, Wherein shall we 						return?

	Now, right off the bat people read this. The next verse:

		(8) 	Will a man rob God?... (And they say, "There you are, pay your 		
			tithes and you return.")

	That's the biggest bunch of rubbish you ever heard. You can't return by
paying tithes. The only part that you can return there is the place
there where God says, 

		(10)	 …(I'll) pour out a blessing, that (you won't be able) to
receive it.

		(11) 	(I'll) rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and… (so on, and so
						forth.) 

	And It says in verse 13,

		(13) 	Your words have been stout…

	Now, first of all He said, "Return."

	And they said, "Where are we return?" "We're rich and increased in
goods, we don't need a thing, [Rev. 23:17] we're in God's pocket. We
don't sit here as a widow, we sit here as a bride. We sit as a queen,
we're wonderful."

13.	Next thing He said, "Your words are stout." [strong]

	What are the stout words?  

		(14) 	…It's vain to serve God: what profit kept his ordinance, we
walked 					mournfully before the LORD of hosts?

	Now watch, watch what it is:

		(15)	 (You) call the proud happy; yea, (that) they that (do)
wickedness 						are set up; (even) tempt God… (That's your Laodicean
church I 						mentioned.)

	They're stout against God. God said, "You're wretched, miserable, poor,
naked, blind."

	And they said, "Like fun we are." A prophet comes down the road that's
absolutely Word authenticated, and vindicated, indicated. They said,
"Drop dead boy, get out of here. Don't tell us about God, we got Him.
After all we got the Holy Ghost, we speak in tongues."

	All right, just a minute now: if you put tongues out of order, where
does it put you? Right with Cain. Why? Because, you're offering a
spiritual thing. You're doing what God said, you got it all messed up.
Church without church order is Word without revelation.

14.	Now, He says here: [Malachi 3:]

		(18)	Then shall (you) return, and discern between the righteous(ness) 
					and the wicked(ness)… 

	See if I get a Scripture back here: Isaiah 45:19. 

		(19) 	I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I
said not 						unto the seed of Jacob, Seek me in vain: I the LORD speak
							righteousness, I declare things that are right.

	Now, you got It over here:

		(18) 	(You) shall return, and discern between righteous(ness) and the 
					wicked(ness) … 

	How are they going to do it? It's only if God speaks, then they've go
to hear. (See?) They got to hear it. That's why Jesus stood at the door,
and He said, "Behold I stand at the door and knock, if any man hears my
Voice…" [Rev 3:20] But, they don't want the hear His Voice. They want
to go out with their own voices. Where Paul said, "The air is so full of
many voices." [1 Cor. 14:10] He said, "You better find out what voice."

	Well, back in Paul's day, there was Apollos, there was Paul, there was
Cephas, and there was James, there was John, there was this guy, that
guy. And today there's Methodist, Presbyterian, Trinitarian, the two
gods, one God. There's Baptist, there's Roman Catholics, there's Greek
Orthodox, why, like Heinz pickle factory, you couldn't turn them out
fast enough. (See?) No, it can't be done.

15.	Now, there is a Word then…there is a Word, and the Word of
discernment that signifies righteousness from wickedness places those
who serve God, and those who don't serve God. Now, at that last day when
this condition is in the land, when all tables are full of vomit; back
here in Isaiah 29.

		(9) 	Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry out, and cry: they are drunken, 
					but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.

		(10) 	For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, 
					closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he 	
				covered.

		(11) 	And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book
that 					is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying,
Read this, 					I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:

	Now, the tragic thing is this: the Book is sealed to them. But, they
haven't got enough brains, except to try to unseal It. I want to ask you
a question: what gave me my brains, when I was twenty- two years of age
to never look at the Book of Revelation again, to wait for a prophet?
You tell me? 

16.	You're looking at a man that evidently had wisdom from God at
twenty- two years of age. And hardly a man living amongst the four
billion people on this earth today, had one idea, and I had no idea. I
didn't. Except a man in our town had gone to an English college, a
Methodist college in England, and he told me how a man came from the
continent of Europe and stood before them and said, "This is the map
now." And he took the minor prophets, and he said, "This is the map
now." This is previous to 1914, the First World War. And he said, "This
is the map now, let me tell you of a coming war that's going to change
this map. And this is what the map will look like after the war is
over." And he took the Scripture and he laid it out there. 

	This man came to Canada. He went to Red Deer, and the Seventh Day
Adventist are very strong in Lacombe, Alberta just above Red Deer, about
nine, ten miles or so. And they came into that town of July 1914 and
they began preaching, "Beat your swords into plowshares, and your spears
into pruning hooks for the wonderful day of the Lord is here,
Millennium." [Isa 2:4] 

	And this man took them aside and he said, "No, not so, "First beat your
plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears," [Joel 3:10]
because there's going to be a war shortly; this is what it'll be like.
And they laughed him to scorn. Within one month the war came, and the
Seventh Day Adventist never even dared to come back until way, what?...
twenty years later. Or even worse than that. They were laughed out of
town.

17.	I listened to that man and I guess I got something even he didn't
know. And that was this: it's going to take a prophet to open the Book
of Revelation. Because, that man being a prophet, he did not get from
reading the same Bible I read. What he got, he read between the lines by
revelation.

	In other words, he knew what that meant, though I would have no idea.
And you would have no idea. But, that man had a spiritual insight. And
it came to past exactly, World War I, and how the map changed and who
the allies were. So, I realized at twenty- two years of age, it would
take a prophet to open the Book. But, you can read book after book on
the Book of Revelation, and every single one flops and fail.

	Now, it wasn't that a lot of men didn't have a lot of truth. Larkin had
a lot of truth. A lot of guys had a lot of truth. But, let's understand
it, they did not have 'The Truth'. 

18.	[Isaiah 29:]

		(11) 	…the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book
that 						is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying,
Read this, 					I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:

		(12) 	…the book delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read
this, I 					pray thee: and he (said), I am not learned.

		(13) 	Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me
with 					their mouth,

	Now remember, that happened as the Alpha in the time of Jesus here in
flesh. It happens again as the Omega when He is here in Spirit. Now:

		(13)	…(they) honour me, but (their hearts are far removed) from me, 
					and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

		(14) 	…behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this
people, 					even a marvellous work and a wonder: (now listen, what the
wonder 					is) for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the
understanding 					of their prudent men shall be hid.

		(15) 	Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the
LORD, 					and their works are in the dark, and say, Who (sees) us? and
who 						(knows) us?

	And William Branham came right there, and said, "You're name's so and
do, and you've been doing such and such, and such and such." And there
wasn't one person could hide, not if there was five million there. There
could be five thousand in one group, and there wasn't one person could
hide. Because He was on the scene. God was on the scene.

		(16) 	Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as
the 					potter's clay: (and) for the work say of him that made it, He
made 						me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it,
He had 						no understanding?

19.	Now, in this hour, notice: God is repudiated. [disapproved] Now,
come on, let's go back to the Book of Hebrews, (see) this is why I've
been preaching these sermons. I've been preaching on the Holy Spirit to
get you to understand. Look, we're not playing around anymore. Not that
you believed that I was. But look, 3:7.

		(7) 	Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, Today if (you) will hear his 
					voice,

		(8) 	Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of
temptation 					in the wilderness:

		(9) 	When your fathers tempted me, (and) proved me, (disapproved of
me) 					and saw my works forty years.

	All right, when did these mighty works of God start? Before 1946. But,
came into being in 1946, and with it, the false anointed.

20.	Let's go back now, (hold your finger there) go back to Psalms 68:18.
Now notice here:

		(18) 	Thou hast ascended on high, (he) led captivity captive: (you've)
						received gifts for men; for the rebellious also, that the LORD God
						might dwell…

	In other words, there's coming a time when the true gifts of God which
lie in the Word. The time when God is dwelling amongst them, just as He
was at the Pillar of Fire back there in the days of Moses. When the
Pillar of Fire was leading them right in there and to a mini-millennium.
They turned him down flat, because there were men with gifts. Now,
that's Mr. Pentecost, David du Plessis and the Pentecostal Movement that
penetrated the Vatican; until there's not a place where men and women
stand with God Present and a multiplicity of gifts. But, they're million
miles off the Word.

	That's why I said the other day, when Moses stood there he had great
compassion. And God said, "Look, I'm going to destroy this people. I
can't take anymore."

	And Moses said, "If You destroy them, you destroy me too." And God
stepped back. 

	But, I'm going to tell you something: the day that those mighty men
came before Moses and they said, "Listen, we've got something too. We've
got gifts, we've got manifestation."

	That's the day that Moses said, "If these men the common death," [Num.
16:29a] I don't have a ministry. 

21.	Now, let me tell you flat: If the Great Tribulation does not destroy
these men with these ministries, then Bro. Branham was a liar flat out.
He didn't have a ministry. You better believe it. That's just the way
it's got to go, because there's no other way it can go. If this Word
ministry that's carried on by a five-fold ministry does not end with a
Great Tribulation, a judgment, then I don't know what I'm talking about.

	Now, He said, "They proved me, (which is, they disapproved of me) even
though they saw my works." [He. 3:9]

	Now listen: when Jesus stood there the second great time ready for an
exodus, He said, "For which work do you stone me?" [Jn 10:32-33]

	And they said, "We don't stone you for any good works. What it is, is
what you said." 

	Now, they disapproved God. "Unto us a child is born. Unto us a son is
given, the government is going to be upon His shoulders."  [Isa 9:6]

	And they said, "No way, left or right. We will not take this man, we
have one king, only Caesar, away with this man. What he says we do not
agree with. We do not concur in any way, shape, and form. We have
nothing to do with him." [Jn 19:15] 

	They disapproved Him. They disapprove God right today, as I tried to
show you a couple of Sunday's, the last two Sunday's and so, on a week
night too, to show you. Men say, "Well, I'm full of the Holy Ghost, I'm
sealed till the day of redemption. And I'm this, and I'm that."

	And I say, "That's exactly true.

22.	Now, but the Word of God distinctly says, "If I do not send Elijah,
it will abort." Now, what is an abortion? It's a child partly formed.

	All right listen: you've got the Bride of Christ partly formed. God in
a form of a Bride. They've been partly formed, but they need bodies.
Now, those bodies got to come out of the graves. And God categorically
said, "If I don't send Elijah the prophet, and I'm not there to raise
the dead, it will abort." But, you try to tell people it's going to
abort. It won't abort according to them. Because, He's going to come
down, He's going to stay in the mid-air.

	Now, they can't tell you what that Shout is, they say, "Hey, look out
down below, I'm coming." Now, as some crazy idea that men and women
have, I don't know. They don't understand that the Shout is a Message,
that the Voice is the raising of the dead, and the Trumpet is the
catching up of the Bride. Now, all you got to do is relate Scripture.
And you will see in      1 Thessalonians 1:15-23 the exact order. There
comes a revelation. There comes a resurrection. There comes a Rapture.
What more does anybody want?

	Now, of course it took a prophet to bring out 1 Thessalonians 4, so a
dumb jerk like me could come behind with little inspiration from
Almighty God, and point you to Ephesians 1. But, those willfully
ignorant still can't get it, because they're willful. You say,
"Willfully ignorant?"

23.	Look, this is a candle in a lamp glass. Right? Imitation flowers,
placed there by women. Right? Oh, anybody knows, right? Right. Time
after time He said, He's here. Time after time He proved He was there.
Time after time He proved the Spirit of the Living God that was in
Daniel to understand and to know. Time after time that same Spirit was
in William Branham; lived in him. He could stand right there and a man
come in, and I saw it happen: said, "I want to tell you a dream." He
said, "No, you just stand still, I'll tell you the dream."

	Daniel did it once. And everybody, "Yi, yi, yi, yi." [makes a noise]
And so they should. I'm not against it. William Branham did it time
after time, after time. And they disapprove Him. They say, "He's not
here. It's going to be a flesh thing. What's He going to use, some big
mega-phone?"  

	No, the prophet said, "He does all three in descending." And to descend
means to come down here. Willfully ignorant descend is come down! I
looked up the Bible, I'll read It to you in Ephesians 4: It
categorically said, "He that descended in the earth." 

	"Well, He really didn't you know, it's a dimension out there somewhere.
After all, up is up, and down is down, only you can know up is up and
down is down. But, you know, up is down, so could be down, and down
could be up." 

	That's theology. "The Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a
Shout." [1 Th 4:16a] They say they believe a prophet. The prophet said,
"A Message." Now, if that's physical, He's got to come down with a
Message. I don't know how He's going to do it. And He's got to go up.
And He's got to come down. Raise the dead. Then He's got to go up. Then
He's got to come down. Take us up. That's a yo-yo, that's not Jesus
Christ. Woeful ignorance.

	You say, "Bro. Vayle, why?"

 	Look, this is a book, [raps hard] page 105, I'm not stupid, you're not
stupid. You understand language? Very strange, they can understand
language. "Oh, my wife is this, my children this, oh, I'm this." They
understand that. 

	But, when the prophet said, "He's here." Well, suddenly He's not.

24.	Let's go back to Isaiah. [29:] 

		(9) 	Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: (these) are 			
		drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.

		(10) 	For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, 
					and closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath 
					he covered.

		(11) 	And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book 
					that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, 	
				Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:

	And if he'd have said, "Yes, I'll open it for you."

	Then they’d say, "What did you say?" (Yeah) Yeah, exactly what
happened there at the time of the Pharisees and the Sadducees in Israel.
The miracles were right there showing who was there. This was that
prophet like unto Moses. This was God Himself incarnated. But, as Isaiah
said, "Sleep was in their eyes, and deafness in their ears."

	They came here and said, "Who are you?"

	She said, "I told you who I was, you won't believe."

	They came to John, "Who are you?"

	He said, "I told you who I was."

	The came to the man that was born blind; his eyes opened and his ears
opened, his life opened to God. He said, "Who are you?"

	He said, "I'm that One."

	The blind man took it. He said, "That's great."

	So, they said, "Well, why don't you tell us something?"

	He said, "What for, you don't listen and believe anyway."

	John said, "You don't believe."

	Jesus said, "You don't believe."

	And here's a man liberated said, "You don't believe."

	See, everybody believes in Messiah. A Messiah of their own
understanding. Everybody believes in a Second Coming. They believe in
Appearing. But, according to their own thinking; and the prophet warned
them.  They said, "Don't you think that way. The Appearing is not what
they teach It to be." And the Appearing according to everybody and the
fundamental society: He comes down, and He's up there in the clouds.
That is not the Appearing. 

25.	"The Appearing is right now, (he said) His Appearing in signs and
wonders. He's Appeared amongst us, (he said) for years already." But,
they don't want it. So, they want a yo-yo.

	I say, "Well, He was here with the prophet wasn't He?"

	"Yes, but He's gone away."  Chapter and verse please? Now, you've got a
yo-yo. (See?) They don't believe it's going to take God to raise the
dead.

	They've got an idea, "Oh, we've got the Holy Ghost. I'll just (you
know) somehow do it."

	Well, it won't just somehow do it. No way, because he said it'll abort.
An abortion is a baby already forming. And Bro. Branham said, "The
church cannot bring Him back in flesh, cannot produce Him in flesh." And
it can't! It'll abort! 

	You say, "What do you mean?"

	I'll tell you what I mean. There's a body lying in the dust that's a
real genuine Body of Almighty God. They've got to be here walking one
day. It's started back. The Gentile Bride at the time of the apostle
Paul, there's a genuine New Testament Bride. A Body of Jesus Christ. And
It's got to be formed, and It's got so far and no further. And he said,
"There's a danger, of an abortion,"

 	I'll tell you what, women don't have enough strength to bring forth.
The Bible prophesied that. It said, "They tried to bring forth… (and I
don't remember the expression exactly, and this is not meant to be
vulgar, but, it's like bringing forth wind.) In other words, a child
can't be born. It's a nebulous thought. It's an idea. Can't bring it
forth. Said, Ephraim couldn't stand still for the dead to come out of
the ground. They haven't got the strength. There's no way the church can
bring that body up. And there's no way the church is going to bring Him
back here on earth. No way!

26.	Let's just look at one faith: how are you going to have a people
living right here and not dead, (and not dead now, get this) without a
High Priest? Because, there's got to come a time that's He's got to come
down. Now, if we're not changed and something happens, we're going to
need a High Priest until that very moment.

	Now, we cannot get a change until the dead come up. What I'm trying to
show you here, they are trying to place a series, chronological series
as though God set the thing in motion and it would require nothing on
His part, except the fact that He set it into motion, and the Word of
God, naturally, being the Word of God, empowered by God would take Its
course. That is not true. Because, there's too many little things in
there that cause the problems. One, of which was the Bride goes off of
course and she becomes literally a harlot. And when it comes time for
her to be the virgin Bride so the dead can come out of the ground, she
needs a High Priest worse than ever than any other time.

27.	Now, if He's going to move off of there, I don't understand how they
put it together, because they have not taken the thing right. They've
got Him in…1 Thessalonians 4: in a physical form coming down. And if
that's a physical form and He's coming down in order to change us,
because the dead have to be changed first.

	Now look, to change the dead it means it's all over. We are going to
need a High Priest worse than ever. It isn't that we ever lose a High
Priest. What it is, God Himself comes down here, and turns the Bride
back to a righteousness catching her up to the position of being a
virgin Bride again. So now, when that is done, the High Priest's work is
over at the right time. I don't say it's over right his minute. I don't
say it's over this minute. But, now you can deal with the Priest off the
Mercy Seat. You can deal if you want to call the Blood off the Mercy
Seat. Call it what you want, but mercy's over, grace is over to the
Gentiles, and judgment hits the scene.

28.	Now, I mention over here in Ephesians coming down. I was back over
here though in the Book of Hebrews. So, we go back to the Book of
Hebrews 3: (And I won't keep you too long tonight.) Now:

		(9) 	…your fathers tempted me, (disapproved of) me, (even after
they) 						saw my works forty years.

	Forty years is a long time. Forty-six to eighty-six. [1946 to 1986]
Three and a half years tribulation. You say, "Well, it should be over by
now." What do you think I read in Peter? The grace of God.

	And because of it, people still don't believe He's here. "Well," they
say, "well, if He's here, He does so and so." Who said so? Don't they
know what He's doing? (Keep your finger there.)

	He's doing it over here according to 2 Corinthians 3:

		(17) 	…the Spirit of the Lord… there is (a freedom of) liberty.

		(18) 	But we all, with (unveiled faces) beholding as in a glass the
glory 						of the Lord…

	Now, what's an unveiled face? An unveiled face means that the mind is
fully exposed to the Word of God no longer the creeds and dogmas. The
sword in the hand of a powerful prophet like William Branham; slashed at
those creeds and dogmas until we, and the Holy Spirit were both loosed
after two thousand years.

	Now, "we're beholding in a glass the glory of the Lord."

	What is the glory of the Lord? Christ, is the glory of the Lord. The
out-raying, the Logos. We're seeing Him come forth from the Word. And
remember, a creation is attributed unto Him as it was in Genesis. "In
the beginning God created heaven and earth. The Spirit of God moved upon
the face of the deep." [Gen 1:1-2] Showing you that God beginning to
move, is what creation began to come into manifestation. All was Logos
has to do with God in creatorial, or moving manifesting something kind
of a form, which is related to creation.

29.	Now, this very Logos comes out of that Word. In other words, this
One, Who is the Word Himself, (not just written stuff in a book, no) the
reality of this redemption plan, when this Seals are open, the Seals are
opened, and there's no more veils, the mind is free; the heart is open.
It says you're looking in there and you see Logos. And when you see
Logos, you see what you might call 'the becoming'.

	Now, what is God becoming? He's becoming into flesh again. The flesh of
a Bride. So, there's a creatorial act down here to bring these bodies
back. But, it's a becoming act in the Bride that's living. Because the
energized Word by the Holy Spirit, in those very cells will begin to
change the very atom; until we're changed to the very Person of Christ.
That is, His image, and His immortality. 

	Just what John said, "Beloved, now are we the sons of God." That's
true. But, it's never yet come into (he says) what we shall be. But, we
know that when He shall appear, we shall be like Him, for we shall see
Him as He is." [1 Jn 3:2]

	Now, how in the world are you going to relate that to 1 Thessalonians
4:16 without understanding His Presence? Now, how are you going to see
Him, except you see Him here in the Word by the Holy Spirit? Look, the
Word mentions bulls and goats and everything else. It mentioned
manifestation. The day came when the very Word was made flesh. We're
waiting for this hour when the very Word becomes flesh again.

30.	Now, look it, just hold your finger there, (those two places if you
can) get you over here to the Book of Revelation 3:14.

		(14) 	And unto the (messenger) of the church of the Laodiceans write; 
					These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the 			
		beginning of the creation of God;

	Now, look who's talking. Logos is talking. God, beginning, creating
Himself in a form of appropriation and apprehension. The
apprehended-ness, I guess what you really call it.

	Now, God doing it. Now watch, over here it's the same thing. The same
Word now moving, so that it's a becoming. It, sure It's creating, but
it's a different kind of creating. It's a transforming as that larva to
the pupa to the butterfly; or the chrysalis come to the butterfly.

 Now, Paul said, "You have this ministry." Now, get back again to
Hebrews 3: Now, he said:

		(10) 	Wherefore I was grieved with that generation…They do always 		
			err in their heart; they have not known my ways.

		(11) 	So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.

	Now, that still holds good. (See?) Now remember, this was in the
provocation. Now, the provocation had several steps, one of which was
entering into a licentious union with the Midianites, at the feast of
Baal Peor, which is plain English comes down to idolatry and church
membership. They already have an alliance and a union, which was with
God vindicated through a prophet the Word. And they went to another
alliance, they turned down the word of the prophet, and they begin
allying themselves. And when a Hebrew man took a Gentile woman it
created bastards. And every time you take the Word of God in a church
union, you got a bastard, you haven't got a son of God. 

	See, what Bro. Branham said what he said? "You only can raise bastards,
there's nobody can produce a son of God, there's no way."

31.	Notice, Israel would not make love, the men with Israelite women.
They had to make love elsewhere. And Phineas came by and found an
Israelite man with a Midianite woman, a beautiful princess, he jabbed
them both through with a javelin and they died right spot there in their
adultery. [Num 25:6-7] And the angels of heaven rejoiced, God stopped
the plague.

	Let me tell you something brother/sister, let's get this flat: a lot of
people they think, "Hey Bro. Vayle, you're a blood thirsty dirty dog."
That's exactly right. I'm a blood thirsty dirty dog, and I care less.

32.	Let me just read you something here. (If I can get it.)  Now,
Revelation 15:

		(2) 	And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them 	
				that had gotten the victory over the beast, over his image, over his
						mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, 
					having the harps of God.

		(3) 	And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, the song of 	
				the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God 					
Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

		(4) 	Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou
art 					holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for
thy 						judgments are made manifest.

		(5) 	And after that I looked, and… (opened and saw in the heaven the
						men standing there with vials to pour out the plagues.)

	And I'm supposed to stand back like a nice fellow and say, "Lord, I
wish You wouldn't do this. Because, you know, Lord, it's a very terrible
thing that You should do this. Lord, I'm so nice that I just can't stand
it." I'm so sick and tired of sin in you and me and everybody! I don't
care if it all burns! If we're destined to hell, we better get out of
here in a hurry, before we get more deserving punishment than ever. 

	How am I going to stand back in this last day and jump up and down,
when a prophet said, "I don't pray for America anymore." What am I
supposed to do? 

	I suppose I'd be smarter than Moses, go on down to Egypt and say, "Well
Israel, bless God, I got righteous men with God, He's wonderful, He
loves everybody, hallelujah. He told me to talk to Pharaoh and get him
converted, and he'll just let us take the kingdom over."

	Oh, come on, let’s change the Bible. What's the Judge all about? Why,
It tells you why, I read It here. Revelation 15:4 Now, It says, "Thy
Judgments are made manifest." What's His Word was made manifest. And
when the Word is made manifest, that's judgments.

	Now, which side of the ledger are we on? What side of the
interpretation of God's Word? Bro. Branham said, "God interprets His
Word by revealing It, making It manifest." And the Word was made
manifest in our hour, which side are we on? And if you're on the right
side, you're on the right side. You stand there exactly with dear old
Abel… (I knew I'd get back to him) you stand there with Abel, while
the rest of the Cainites are going to be destroyed.

	Now, I don't rejoice in that. What am I supposed to do? Look, let's
face it, we've got enough brains, we'd have a lottery tonight. Wouldn't
it be nice to have a little lottery here, we'd get away with it…so to
speak. Ha, ha, ha, you don't mind me. Just bringing this out do you? All
right, all the hands here, and one million people in Ohio, put in ten
dollars apiece, that's ten million dollars. And I'm going to tell you
something, what if you pulled the lucky ticket? "Oh shucks, I wish I
hadn't go it. Oh, this is terrible, this is terrible, I got fifty
million dollars." [laughter] Oh, come on, why do you feel terrible?
"Because the rest of the folk didn't get it, and I feel terrible." Well,
give it to them! "Oh,  mmm, mmm!" [loud laughter] Come on. What am I
supposed to do?

33.	Now listen, I've got to preach this way, I hate to do it in a way,
but there's only one way I can get the point across. It's beginning to
show it's ludicrous, it's stupid. What are people trying to do. They're
smarter than God, they're nicer than God, they're better than God. I'm
not here to call judgment on anybody, don't think I am. 

	But, I'm going to tell you one thing, brother/sister: you cannot stop
the judgments of God, because they're manifested already. The Word's
been interpreted. It's been revealed. Whose side are you one tonight? 

	All right, if you're on His side, and He wants that other side put
away. That's His business, and you're on His side by grace, so you won't
be that side. Well, do you want to cross over? Go ahead. This is the
thing that grieves me, and also burns me to a crisp. Because, it's
deliberate. (See?) You say, "How could it be?" Don't you still
understand, in the Alpha He stood with them. And they quoted the
Scripture back and forth, but they quoted It wrong. Because, their
revelation was wrong.

	As Bro. Branham said, "He came according to the Word, but not according
to their interpretation of the Word." They fell by the way side. God
said, "I swore in My wrath, they shall not enter." [Heb 3:11] Now, God
swore.

34.	 Let me just see something else here: All right, here's what It says
here: [Hebrews 6:]

		(13) 	For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear 			
		by no greater, he sware by himself,

		(14) 	Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, multiplying I will 		
				multiply thee.

		(15) 	And after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

		(16) 	For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for
confirmation 						is to them an end of all strife.

		(17) 	Wherein God, willing more abundantly to (show) unto the heirs of
						promise the immutability of his counsel, (intervened Himself with 
					His) oath: 

		(18) 	…by two immutable things, (God in His Own Word, Present, God 	
				revealed His Word revealed,) it was impossible for God to lie, we 		
			have a strong consolation, (Ruth, under consolation, Bro. Branham 			
	said in this hour,) who (may have strong) have fled for refuge lay 				
	hold upon the hope set before us:

		(19) 	Which hope we have… (you say, "Hallelujah.")

	Then, hallelujah over here to the place swearing God swore wrath. And
then if you can change Him about His wrath, somebody can change Him
about His mercy. I'm not blood thirsty, I'm just telling you. I'm just
trying to get a point across here. And I hope you're beginning to see,
because I'm sick and tired of all this hogwash people are preaching.
But, I still got the last laugh. I don't go anywhere, but it goes plumb
around the world. They run, run, run, run, run. Let them run. (See?) Let
them run. Yeah, wrath. Too nice for God. Not that we can be too nice.
But, I tell you: anybody can make a mistake with nice-ing. 

	I know a certain good brother, he said, "This fellow here, (he said) I
like him, (he said) because he's got such a gentle spirit." I wonder
how…well, the point is this: how gentle is the man's spirit if he has
another woman? That he tells lies. Take your stinking spirit as far as
I'm concerned. Now, you've got a nice gentle spirit, and you can stand
with that Word like Moses, that's real meekness. Meekness is not
weakness, and weakness is not meekness. And niceness is not necessarily
Christ.  Or why did Bro. Branham say, "That kind old priest." Christian
Science's got more love to speak, so to speak. But he said, "Real love,
that's the hour you do, but you wouldn't do, except for the sake of
Jesus Christ."

	Mother's give their lives, even to burning for their children. If a
mother can do that, she's the weaker vessel. What should a father do?
Don't answer that question. Makes you feel stupid doesn't it? Okay
stupid, smarten up.

35. So, God swore in His wrath. He swore to us in mercy. The same
swearing God [taps on the pulpit] that interposed Himself for us,
interposed Himself now; as He did in the days of Abraham. 

	And Abraham said, "Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?" [Gen
18:25b]

	And God said, "Certainly, certainly, certainly. What have you got on
your mind?"

	"Well," he said, "You wouldn't destroy the righteous with the wicked?"

	He said, "Never, never was my intentions, never will be. But, get this
straight Abraham, I'm still going to destroy the wicked."

	Now, look it, God's not no pleasure. I've got no pleasure. You think I
wouldn't want to see those people right? Yes, I would, but I'm not going
to stand back like a cream-puff, and be steam- rollered in this Message.
They call it, "Vayle's revelation." 

	It isn't my revelation, it's what the prophet taught. You think I'd
have got these things by myself? Don't be ridiculous. You think I could
have figured Ephesians chapter 1:15-23, except you explain 1
Thessalonians 4:13 to about 18? No way!

	Let me tell you one thing flat: Do you think for one minute that
William Branham was a great man outside of God? Hogwash! His own
judgment was a skunk-skinner. At least I wanted to be a criminal lawyer.
[laughter] Skunk skinning is better though, because it's the same thing.
[Bro. Vayle laughs loudly with the people] I didn't know Bro. Branham
and I are so close. My Lord, loves us both. He just had a better though
then mine. [Bro. Vayle chuckles] Much better thought.

36. [Hebrews 3:]

		(11) 	So I (swore) in my wrath, (He said) They shall not enter into my
rest.

		(12) 	Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart
of unbelief, 					in departing from the living God.

	Under the conditions;

	Number one: Baal Peor. (See?)

	Number two: When the showdown came of gifts and manifestations. 

	There's more, I'll have to go in the Bible and trace them through.
(But, you can get a picture because they haven't studied this thing, I'm
just talking off the top of my head, so to speak, or my heart, or
someplace. Without notes, so haven’t gone into It. But, give me time,
I've got some others Scripture in mind I may want to go into later on,
with this Judge bit.)

37.	Now, that heart of unbelief, they could not take God and a prophet.
(See?) That's why I keep saying, the simplicity. God prophet, prophet
God. No God, no prophet. No prophet, no God. But, if there's a prophet,
there's got to be God. If there's God, there's got to be a prophet.

	Now, you don't take that off the top of your head, and say, "Bro.
Vayle, I've seen that." Don't give me that hogwash. I'm telling you
today as I told you for two weeks or better, (longer than that. It's
weeks ago now.) before I got into the Judge series even. To show you the
tremendous devastating simplicity that's rock-bottom, impregnable, God
prophet. If there's a prophet, their God's there. God's there. Then sit
up and take notice, because there's not the prophet. Took me sixteen
years to understand why I calmly said…was just like I'm preaching now,
not near as hard, not near as rough. When I said…hear myself
say…listen, this is very serious when you hear yourself say something.
Either you're hallucinating, or you're a nut, or something's got a hold
of you.

	"You're not looking at a man, you're looking at God." And I was.
Because William Branham did not intrigue me. I watched and watched all
the time. Where was God's Spirit moving? God, God, God. [said softly]
And I wasn't looking at a man. And I'm still not looking at a man. I'm
looking at God. And yet people say they believe a prophet? They lie. I
hate to use that term lies, as though I make them deliberates. It's not
I make them deliberate, but just the same my brother/sister, the prophet
said, "Let God's Word be true, and every man's word a lie." [Rom 3:4]
Something's wrong somewhere. Something's wrong somewhere. Talk about a
prophet, then get sick and tired of Him and His Presence. Then don't
tell me you want to go to the Millennium where you're going to see Him.
Don't tell me you want to go to New Jerusalem where you're going to
praise Him for trillions and trillions of years. Be kind of hard on your
stomach or something. (See?) 

38.	Know something? Something's happening in the Bride brother/sister. I
get reports all the time, since over a year now. Preachers tell me,
"Lee, nobody's getting saved anymore." Is that a sign? Sure, could be.
I'm not saying it is. Sure, could be. Close right down there. 

	And you talk about lies. I've never seen such a bunch of liars. And
it's such lousy rotten liars. If they could only tell some good ones.
[laughter] Really, and sound as though they were some authenticity
there. I know what I'm talking about. You do too.

	"Take heed, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief,
departing you from God." [Heb 3:12] 

	Let me tell you something: every heart is an evil heart of unbelief,
unless the Light of God strikes it. And I'm going to tell you, I don't
care how much sanctified you are, I don't care how full of the Holy
Ghost you are, and let's put this down flat, except a prophet came, the
evil heart of unbelief would have kept up out of the Millennium. It
needed the revelation, "the eyes of the heart being enlighten." [Eph
1:18a] That's right.

39.	You know folk, let's get this straight: you might not know what I
know in the sense of the depth, but I hope you do before God. Let me
tell you something on my testimony. God is moving, and He is doing
something to a Bride right now, that is bordering on the physical if
it's not already entered into it. And you know what I'm talking about;
either the cells have begun to change, or the processes of the Holy
Spirit are so tremendous that the change is just as good has here,
because nobody is going to stop it. (See?)

	Now, let's get this flat: when He told me to watch nothing but His
Word. What if that Word is in a Bride? What do you watch then? What if
it's not just between the covers anymore? You say, "Well, people say,
well Vayle the way you talk you make yourself somebody." 

	Well, these things don't come to me of my own as far as I know, anymore
than when I said, "You weren't looking at a man, you're looking at God."
Took me a long time to find what it meant. People can say what they
want, and they are saying what they want. So, why shouldn't I say what I
want? Isn't it strange, if I say it, it's different. 

40.	You say, "You're defending yourself." 

	Sure I am, what do you think I'm doing? I'm also coming out slugging,
just like I warned a certain brother. I said, "I'm going to tell you
something brother, the last time a preacher fooled with me and all this
stuff went around the country," I said, "I've got both barrels." Let me
tell you this time, "I'm coming out slugging."

	Now, if you don't like what I'm saying, I'm sorry for you. You cook
your own mess of fish. But, I'm going to tell you what, "You get in my
shoes for twenty-four hours, and I'm going to see what you look like,
and what you do." And I'll tell anybody in this room, where three or
four to get it. You get in my boots, (yeah) you sitting here, you've had
duck soup all your lives. And you sit here and you depend upon one guy,
stinking old Lee Vayle to tell you things, right? Get in my boots
sometimes and see what's it's like. Then you wonder why I get a bit
excited. That's my business, and I haven't told you on lie, and I'm not
telling you one lie. When did I lie to you, or should I?

	I could walk out of here in five minutes and never see you again. Why
should I tell you lies? If I hated you, (phftt!) I don't need to tell
lies. If I tried to deceive you, what good does it do? Where am I going
to take you? What am I going to do with you? I've been trying to point
people to Christ for a long time, and the record still goes around.
"Well, old Lee, you know, he talks so much about Bro. Branham, he points
everybody Bro. Branham." When did I point everybody to Bro. Branham?
See, a lot of hogwash.

41.	Now, this is what went on. They said, "Moses you take too much upon
you." [Num 16:3]

	"Hey, Vayle, stop talking about William Branham."

	I'll talk about him when it's appropriate! But, always in relationship
to God being there, so the eyes are not upon a man. What could William
Branham do for you and me? Come on, nothing! What can I do for you?
Nothing! And yet, the strangest thing is this: that ministry, when God
said would change men by transfiguration, lies in men's preaching, and
men believing  and something happens.

	When I first saw him, something happened. It's never stopped, and it
never will. Because, I believe he was Elijah which was fore to come. I
believe that God is here in our midst tonight. I absolutely have full
confidence that He is here.

	You say, "Bro. Vayle, do you ever get shaken?"

	Why certainly. You think…because you think I'm God? You think I'm
greater than the apostle Paul, I'm greater than John the Baptist, I'm
greater than Elijah? You got to be ridiculous. In myself there is
nothing, but in Him there is everything. You just give your spirit a
chance to talk to you. He'll bring you right back on course, certainly.

42.	Now, an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the Living God.
Now, It tells you where departing from God is. That means a second
death. You say, "Why?" 

	Well, I'll tell you why. Seeing you didn't ask the question, but you
should know it anyway, God said to Adam, "In the day you eat, that's the
day you die." [Gen 3:3] That was separation. Unbelief. Unbelief caused
Adam and Eve to depart from God. And unbelief will put Him out of our
midst. And the hour, I mean are those who disbelieve. We are not
unbelievers.

	When He said, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock," [Rev 3:20] He
was not asking for each individual to come out and stand afar off. He
was asking for a Bride to come out, that He could stand in the midst of
them and give His Name to her collectively. Which, at this point was all
one by one. But, there's a Bride standing here, because, it's all over.
(See?)

	Now, It says here, "Don't depart in your unbelief from living God."
[Heb 3:12] That means that God is alive again amongst His people. That's
a far cry from when God is viewing mankind from His Throne; when God is
not there to lead them over into immortality. This is the God that says,
"Because I live, you shall live also." [Jn 14:19] And, "He that liveth
and believeth in Me shall never perish. Do you believe this?" [Jn
11:25-26] Departing from a Living God. A God that is not longer afar
off. A God that simply gave a promise. (See?) But a God that's here, and
He's fulfilling His Word. You bet He is.

43.	Well, brother/sister, I'm going to tell you one thing: a lot of
people think you're going to die, but I got news for you; you ain't
going to die. I'm going to tell you, let's get this flat: we are so
close to the end, coming to the three and a half years, (great
tribulation, which is three and a half years is all is what we've got
left) we are so close that either people will be right at the threshold,
and then over the threshold into either being Raptured, or frying in the
three and a half years tribulation. And I use the word 'fry', and I
meant what I said. Because, the sun is going to scorch people literally
to death. It's going to burn, until they gnaw their tongues in pain, but
they cannot die. Doesn't sound very nice to see a thing that, but that's
my vernacular. And I mean it in a vernacular, to let people know what
we're talking about.

	Now, It said, "Exhort one another daily, while it is called a day, lest
any of you be harden through the deceitfulness of sin." [Heb 3:13] Which
is unbelief! 

44.	All right, I'll read It again. "Where's the promise of His
Presence?" [2 Pet 3:4] What's going on? Bro. Branham's dead. Looks like
everything going just like it always did, even from creation. Same set
up.

	 Adam and Eve in sin.

	 Here's old Cain, messed up. 

	Here's Abel, right offering, righteous man dying for it. Looks like
things is going on and on.

	Now, He said, "Hold it, I want you to know one thing, the Lord's not
slack concerning His promise, and its’ willful ignorance said God when
you come to this hour."

	And you say, "Well, what's God doing? Ain't doing nothing. Always
looking back. Always looking forward. Ain't nothing going on, everything
continues."

	You got to be nuts if you think that. Spiritually disruptive in your
own soul. The 'Shout' is going on, which in turn will bring about a
Resurrection.

	You say, "Bro. Vayle, I can't feel it."

	What did John the Baptist feel, born for the Holy Ghost in his mother's
womb?

	What did Paul feel? What's your feeling got to do with it? Nothing!
It's been manifest what it's all about.

45.	Now, It says, "Exhort one another." Okay, you're going to exhort
each other, fine.

	[Malachi 3:]

		(16) 	Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another:
(exhorted 					one another) and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, a book
of 						remembrance was written before him for them that feared the
LORD, 					and that thought upon his name.

		(17) 	And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day
when I 					make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth
his own 					son that serveth him.

		(18) 	Then shall (you) return…

	That which has started under the Shout will soon climax with the
discernment in the Bride.  As Bro. Branham said, "She'll have the Word
and know what to do with It, or she'll shut Him out." 

	Now, what are you talking about these days? "Oh," you say, "Bro. Vayle,
I should be praying." Oh sure, you should pray, that's fine. What about
talking? Oh, we're accused, there'll be those that parroted. Parousia,
and parrot. Well, parrot for God's sake parrot, at least chose
something. At least show something. (Huh?) Pretty rough preaching, but I
keep preaching too.

	Don't tell me we've got this Bible backward. I'm not backwards standing
up here. I don't have my collar on backward. I don't have my
thinking-cap on backward. I don't have my mind turned around, my heart
messed up. I'm telling you the truth, it's right here in the Word. I'll
go Scripture back and forth, back and forth, as fast as I can move.
(See?)

46.	Harden! You get hardened if you don't talk as you should talk. And
sin will deceive you, say, "Well, since Bro. Branham died, what's going
on?"

	Why are men preachers running off with other men's wives, or some young
girl? This is the answer right here. Not because they're old goats like
me, I wouldn't run off anyway. See, I'm not boasting in myself, I
just…look, there comes a time when, hey, God's on the scene. And
there's a union going on. There's a love match going on. There's a
talking going on. There's a knowledge going on. A discernment going on.
There's a growth going on. (Yeah)

	You say, "Well, Bro. Vayle, we don't feel anything."

	What are you supposed to feel? (Uh?) Well, if you like, I'll get pins
out here and pick you if you just bend over. I'll assure you I can get
some feeling. [laughter] It's no sensations. It's in the mind, and in
the heart illumination, where the stimulation comes. The wine of
stimulation comes. (See?) It's supposed to be that way.

47.	Now, we are companions of Christ if we hold the beginning of our
confidence steadfast to the end while It is said today: "If you will
hear His Voice, harden not you hearts as in the provocation." [Heb 3:8]
Now, He's telling you Alpha is Omega. It happened under Moses. It
happened under Christ. It's happening now. But you know what? Somebody
went in, Joshua and Caleb (over twenty years of age) and the rest went
into Canaan's land, and the Captain of the host of Israel stood there
and took them in.

	And Jesus stood there, and He got eleven wonderful disciples out of it.
At the day of Pentecost, He got (what?) several hundred. Because, the
hundred and twenty were just names, and before the day was over how many
thousand came, (was it three thousand, five, who knows?) Three thousand
came one time, five another time. (See?)

	Now, listen: For someone they heard did provoke.  [Hebrews 3:]

		(16) 	For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that
						came out of Egypt by Moses.

		(17) 	But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them 	
				that had sinned (in the wilderness), whose carcasses fell in the 			
		wilderness?

	Notice, those carcasses, they came together. Just one melee mouth raven
had some raven food, they all ran. (Yep) They liked the carcass. We like
the 'soma' the good body. 

		(18) 	…to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest,
but to 						them that believed not?

		(19) 	So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

48.	Now, It tells you, but He's associating within a period of time. A
prophet manifested, God leading them in. And they said, "Oh, oh, we
can't take that." We can't take that rebellion right in the group, mixed
multitude. But, somebody's going in. Somebody's going in. You said,
"This is not condemnation." This is for encouragement. Because, if God's
swared in His wrath, they shall not enter in. The same God sware and
interposed Himself that I am going in. (See?)

	I want to tell you something: let's get this and understand it flat,
everything in the Word of God is what I call 'the parallelism of
Scripture'. The two mountains, Ebal, which was cursing, and Gerizim,
which was blessing. And the sons of Jacob (the twelve) six over here,
six there, one repeated blessing, and one repeated cursing. Let me tell
you: the same God that curses, is the same God that blesses. And tonight
you better hear both, because you can't get by without it. 

49.	Now, I may sound negative, but I'm sorry, you better talk to God,
don't talk to Lee Vayle, because Lee Vayle knows his Bible. And this is
one of the things that God showed me. You want to know one of the things
that God showed me? I even wrote them down here.

	Number one: Alpha is Omega. Number two: The whole Bible is for today;
especially the New Testament. They got the same name, parallelism of
Scripture. Since Calvary and Pentecost both Jew and Gentile have come to
the promise of Abraham looking for the Millennium. The Jews got three
and a half years left. Every time He tells me something I tell you. And
they'll help you if you just listen.

	Parallelism, the same God stood before Abraham said, "Sarah you're
going to bring forth a boy." There's a time to produce flesh. Now, if
she'd have got pregnant before that she'd aborted. No way. God brought a
Word to her, said, "This is that hour." 

50.	The same Word to Sodom was death. God intervened. The Great Prophet
Judge Who stood there, stands here today, and He says, My Kingdom is
established on a revealed Word, which the gates of hell will not prevail
against. My kingdom has started to come into manifestation. And I am
here to see the first major step which is the Millennial reign of the
Lord Jesus Christ as the greater Son of David on the Throne, will be
established and it's started now, and day by day It's growing. I'm not
looking back, and I'm not looking forward, I'm looking right now we're
going ahead. (Yep.)

	Listen, I used to be a brakeman on a train one time. I just had to pull
that cord and it was full steam ahead. If I gave eight quick little
jerks of that bell, it meant 'highball'. We didn't stop for anybody, we
went right through. If I jerked that thing twice and then go ahead, pull
that thing once it meant 'stop'.  And if I got excited and I saw someone
get hurt, I could pull that cord and stop that thing and (phfft!) just
like that. Tons and tons of solid mass. So, being a brakeman and a
conductor, I know what I'm talking about.

51.	Let me tell you something: we're highballing. [laughter] If you want
to stop and get off, I'm sorry, you can't do it. If you want the train
to stop so you can get on, I'm sorry it's impossible. You got to come to
this Message. "Let us fear," It says, "lest there be a promise." [Heb
4:1] That we might within ourselves feel we missed it.

	"Why did they not receive it," says Paul the prophet, the apostle?
Because, the Word preached did not profit, because It was not mixed with
faith in them that heard It. "For we which have believed do enter into
rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into
my rest." [Heb 4:3] 

52.	Now listen, here's what I'm trying to get to you is this, and I'm
going to let you go home. Look it: if your faith could start you out to
salvation through justification, sanctification, (of course you had
water baptism) into the Holy Ghost which is by faith, and the baptism by
faith (the Holy Ghost baptism by faith) is that which guarantees that
God has sealed you in, and vowed that He Himself is going to raise you,
then what else do you have to believe to get in, or have to have except
faith? 

	Now, they say, "Look, we've got to have gifts, we got to have this…"
Look it, you've got everything you need. You've got everything you need.
You say, "I think Bro. Vayle, we should have something else to make me
believe." You've lost her right there. You've lost her right there. Why?
Because, you're always looking forward.

	You see what happened to you? You're looking back and say, "Well, we've
had a prophet, that was fine, but he's gone to sleep, so everything just
continues. I'm looking down the road, something is going to happen."

53.	I'm going to tell you something: something is happening right now.
Look here, let me tell you, I can only speak for myself. Once in a while
I get a bit of insight, and I think it's insight, look, I don't know.
Once in a while I look at somebody, I hear somebody, and something
strikes through and I know that if there was ever a kindred spirit,
there's a kindred spirit right there in my own heart, faith. Something
just strikes. I can't tell you. Look, I'm not God. I'm not prophet, I'm
not this, I'm not that. I just mess around a little bit.

	But, there's something that's so different. When that thing strikes, I
suppose it's kind of like what William Branham had in this respect; that
it's that same Spirit, the welcoming Spirit, that something-to-it-ness,
that made him say, "Look, I can tell you have something." And I believe
that that's in the Bride in this hour. I believe it's amongst us. Not
centered in me, not centered in you, but I believe that there's
something that doesn't lie in the realm of the critical. Doesn't lie in
the realm of that which is truly vigil, so you're watching a process,
but there's something like just something striking you and you know that
there is a reality. The same as your reality in that person…. [end of
