The Lord's Supper - Communion # 3a Bro. Lee Vayle - July 6, 1983 Let us pray. Heavenly Father we're so grateful that we can sing that tonight knowing that He is here Whom our soul loves the…You're the Devine, the bright and Morning Star, the all together Lovely One, in Whom there is nothing but joy and rejoicing and peace, and in Him there is nothing but goodness. We do appreciate that tonight. We're grateful for it, Lord, and we know that that's our portion, because Christ is our portion; full identification, full measure. We thank You that One Who is the Son of man in this last day ministry has been revealed to us, completely unveiled. Appeared amongst us and now at the Head of the Church ready to take us in. Bringing us right back to the Word, to be real Word believers and we're grateful. Now, help us in our studies tonight, and we give You the praise in Jesus' Name. Amen. You may be seated. 1. Now, we're sort of back to where we always are which is the constant acknowledgement, and keep reminding you how that I minister, if I do indeed minister, which is I start with something I feel is pertinent and I look at it and I start teaching on it, and then as time goes on hopefully we begin to see more and more what we're into in the sense of proving the rightness of our understanding of Scripture. Now, for two Saturdays and also for one Wednesday we've gone into the "Lord's Supper." and we looked at it to see just what lay there for us. And we sort of backed away from what has always been the more or less attempted exegesis of 1 Corinthians 11:17-34. And what has really been the thing which I believe has more or less persuaded people to put emphasis on this ordinance in a wrong way is here in verses 27 to about 33. 2. It says: (27) Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the (blood and body) of the Lord. And of course the emphasis is always been on: "are you worthy do it?" And it's not even that in the Greek. It's "in an unworthy manner." But you say, "Well, I think we should be careful to be so, so, and we should be so righteous, and we should be so everything." Well, I don't doubt for one minute you should be. But, it doesn't say that. Let a man (I think he said) actually be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. (28) …let a man examine himself, so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. (29) For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, (eats) and (drinks condemnation, judgment) to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. Now, there again the emphasis goes there to...by people that…well see, you just don't see the Bride, you don't see this, you don't see that, you don't see the other thing; and you got problems with each other, and you've been doing some nasty things. And It says: (30) For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, many sleep. (And that of course compounds the thought.) Because, people say, "Well, (you know) you're getting the axe falling on you because you're a naughty person. (31) For if we ( judged) ourselves, we should not be judged. (32) …when (we're) judged, (we're) chastened of the Lord, (we're trained, also corrected; sometimes we suffer) that we should not be condemned with the world. (33) Wherefore, my brethren, when (you) come together to eat, tarry one for another. 3. Now, the explanation of this have always gone way, way out into the never-never land by many people who when the preach (and I'm been guilty myself) of putting the people under bondage. So that you don't come together and partake of It on the grounds of exactly what lies there. And when fear is inculcated you will find that even preachers refuse to serve it because they're condemned. Silence, except for shuffling. And you should be silent too. Now, I'm a tough preacher. I gave orders to this church under it, if I went out and did anything at all, the deacons are to carry on [taps on the pulpit] and override me at anytime. This is the Word of God. Now see, we're not babies anymore. Now, what if I fell into sin? Bro. Branham said, "The only time that you can restrain anyone from partaking is in gross immorality." Raw, wrong sex, fragrantly performed with the knowledge of the people. So, if I should be at odds with somebody, or I don't feel exactly nice through something, and I see even preachers fall under this spell, but they just say, "Well, we'll do away with it." Haven't got a thing to do with it. See, It says here that in verse 34: (34) …if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that (you) come not together unto condemnation… It is evidently they were eating at a place they shouldn't be eating. In a manner they shouldn't be eating, and they got it messed in with this. Now, that's what this is talking about. See? 4. Now, let's look at 1 Corinthians 11, beginning in verse 1. (1) Be (you imitators) of me, even as I also (imitate) Christ. Now watch: (2) Now I praise you, brethren, that (you) remember me (or imitate me) in all things, (keeping) the ordinances, as I delivered them… Now, watch in verse 17: (17) Now in this I declare…I (will not) praise you…(because when you) come together (for this ordinance, you do it wrong and you leave in worse shape than when you came.) Now, the worse shape was in doing what they did when they came, not what they did before they came. Right? Then why not read It that way. I've been hearing of churches back in my part of the country years ago where (and this is true too) the guy went into soul-mating and they had actual sexual intercourse up in front of the altar. I'm not talking about that. You see, you mind gets (phfft) [makes a noise] like that. Phfft, out in space. Stick with the Word. 5. Now, he said, listen: "I praise you when you do what you're told to do in the right way. And when you do it in the wrong way, I won't praise you. Now in verse 23: (23) For I have received of the Lord (what) I delivered (to) you… (He told them what to do and how to do it.) Now, you think anybody would have enough brains to do it. But, not them. "Oh no, no, no, no. Oh heavens forbid. Oh glory hallelujah, bless God. Ho, ho, ho, ho, we're free in the spirit." Uh, uh, uh, uh, yeah. "Oh, we have a great time the way we used to do it." Yeah. Now: (18) For first of all, when (you) come together in the church, I hear (there's) divisions among you; and I partly believe it. (He said, "They're schism.") Now what are those schism? [divisions] Now, he said, "There's got to be heresies, there's sex making the schism, because (he said) amongst you just the same there are those that are approved." So, they must have had believers, make believers and non-believers in the whole bunch. And you don't question anybody taking the Lord's Supper, that's just between him and God. Unless they're gross immorality. Like this fellow over here, that had his father's young wife. Now what did he say? Now, he tells you what's going on. (20) When (you) come together therefore (in) one place, (you're in the church, what you're doing is not) the Lord's supper. Now, watch the schism: (21) …every one taketh before other his own supper: (he's got his own little private party, his own little way of doing things and he does it his way. See?) Then It says, they break the bread and drink the wine. Now he said: (22) What? have (you) not houses to eat and to drink in?... You don't come together to have a club sandwich, or turkey dinner. And have an agape love feast, so called. See? Some fine little fare, so that, well, you know how it is these people here they can afford caviar and pheasant under-glass. So, they wouldn't even have a pot-luck dinner where we put it all on one table. You talk about stupidity, right under the nose of the apostle Paul. You know, I shouldn't ask this question, because there's really no answer to it, but how kooked up can the church get? It's supposed to have the Holy Ghost, and haven't got enough brains to come in out of the rain and blow their noses. Haven't got enough brains to come together and simply break a little bread and drink a little wine in the proper attitude of understanding what they're doing. And you know a lot of people still can't do that. Because, it's too simple. Oh, it's way too simple. 6. Now listen, let's get down here where everybody gets all frantic. Now: (27) Wherefore whosoever (eats) this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. Okay, now that's what was their guilty of it. "What do you mean guilty?" Well, if you're guilty of It, then you're participating in the literal crucifixion. You're the killer, not the receiver. You're Cain, not the Abel. Now, that's simple as a-b-c. But everybody gets scared when you talk to them today. "Oh, there's got to be some great deep meaning behind it." What is a great deep meaning? Oh yeah. Now, pardon me, I'm needling you for a reason, and I'm laying this on thick, because I know where I'm going. But you don't, but you just wait, you're going to find out. (28) …let a man examine himself, so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. (29) For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, (eats) and (drinks condemnation) to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 7. Now, you tell me where there is condemnation outside of a Word that demands a proper presentation, or fulfillment? You didn't catch it, did you? Okay, we'll go a little further. (29) …he that (eats) and (drinks) unworthily, (eats) and (drinks condemnation) not discerning the Lord's body. Now, we're talking about blood and flesh. The life was in the blood, the body was broken, the life came out of the blood. All right, the life is in the blood, but life is before blood. Right? Life is before blood. No two ways about it. Life was before blood, and life is before blood. So life needed to have (needed to have) and had blood. So, God put life, Adam life into a vessel that had blood. The blood's got to have flesh. Right? So therefore, God made Adam flesh and blood. Now, God has life. So what does God do? The Logos becomes flesh and blood. So Christ becomes the Life of God. Right? He is the Blood of God. He's the Life of God, He's the Blood of God. Okay, now, what was it that became flesh? The Word. And it was the Word that had the Life. Right? Alright, that's what we're talking about here, not discerning the Lord's body. Now, let's look at what they were not discerning, so we begin to see what is going on here. These people that came together, these people that were given simple ordinance, they couldn't even do it in simplicity. They wound up on abject mockery. They came together to do what was right, and thereby leave in better shape than when they came, they came and did wrong; and left in worse shape than when they came. See? The local assembly were not helped, but they were harmed by their participation in this ordinance, and they became guilty before God. They became literal Christ crucifiers. Right! 8. Now, there's not one of us but can see as I mention on Saturday, that this another example of Cain and Abel. Why? Because, Cain would not go according to revelation. Shed the blood then take the other sacrifice. And Paul said in here, (now listen,) "Here's what you do, you come together. And when you come together you positively will simply take that bread and drink that wine and that's all you will do. Nothing else." See, that's what you're supposed to do, but they began messing with it. And they took this beautiful simplistic ceremony and turned it into a mess. Now, let's see that this whole Book is a correction of every mess that was in the church by reason of messing with the Word. 9. Now, let's go to 1 Corinthians 12:and read 1-3. (1) Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. But, you're a bunch of dumb do-do's. Because you're willfully stupid.) Aw, come on now. "Woman shut up and sit down," said William Branham. Thank you Bro. Branham. I love that kind of language. (2) (You) know that (you) were Gentiles, carried (awaaay!) unto these dumb idols, even as (you) were led. (3) Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. Now, they were willfully ignorant concerning the gifts in the church. They messed them up. And when they did, they caused division. I'll prove it to you. Why It says over here verse 13, (13) For by one Spirit are we all baptized (in) one body, whether Jews (and Greek)… (14) …the body…one member… (15) …the foot shall say, (I'm) not the hand, I am not of the body; therefore not of the body? (Verse 18) (18) But now God hath set the members every one of them in the body, as it pleased him. They didn't discern the body in gifts. Oh, did they? No! Well, did they? No! Did they discern the body in gifts? No! Did they discern the body here in wine and bread? No! 10. Let's go further. Let's go back, 1 Corinthians 1:1. (You still love me? Hang on to your chairs. I ain't going to hurt nobody. I'm getting to where you go in to see again daylight now.) Okay: (1) Paul called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, Sosthenes our brother, (2) Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their's and our's: (3) Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. (4) I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; (5) That in every thing (you) are enriched by him, in all utterance, and all knowledge; (and therefore you've got everything that can put you in the Rapture!) "But-but-but-but, Bro. Vayle. It doesn't say that!" Aw, shut up! All knowledge! And the Rapture is part of knowledge! Uh? (Thank you. Nice people.) (5) That in every thing (you're) enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; (6) Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: (7) So that (you) come behind in no gift; waiting for the (apokalupsis His Appearing amongst us…) (8) Who (at that time) shall confirm you (to) the end, that (you) be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. (When the Husband comes to take the Wife.) (9) God is faithful, by whom (you) were called unto fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. (Now, these were enriched in all knowledge. How? By revelation.) (10) Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that thereby be no divisions… (but a perfect unity; one revelation of one Word.) Making what? One body of the Word, because He Who was the Word became a body. We are His body, so therefore we're Word. You cannot take a cat-cell and add it to a dog-cell, and the dog-cell to a horse-cell and make a human being. You cannot take a Bride and add any cell but a Word-cell. If He is Word, we are Word; and He is one Word, we are one Word, one bread, one life. 11. Okay: (10) Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that (you) all speak the same thing, (but therefore) there be no divisions, (you'll) be perfectly joined in the same mind and in the same judgment. (11) For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. (12) Now this I say, every one of you… I am of Paul; (I'm) of Apollos; (I'm) of Cephas; (I'm) of Christ. (13) Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you?... Was Paul baptized in my name? Then how many words are there? Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, this interpretation, that interpretation, this interpretation, that interpretation. One Word. That's what John said. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." [Jn 1:1] The same thing tells you over there in 1 John, that that Word is one in Heaven. (14) I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius; (15) Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name. (16) …I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know... (none of it.) (17) For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. (18) For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. (19) (God said, I'll) destroy the wisdom of the wise, bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 12. All right. [1 Corinthians] 2:1. (1) …I came not with excellency of speech or wisdom, declaring the testimony of God. (2) …determined (nothing) among you, save Jesus, and him crucified. (3) …with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. (4) …my speech and preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and power: (5) That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, in the power of God. And the wisdom of man got in there and no doubt said, "Listen, I got it straight from Peter, right from the horse's mouth. I know that the night that Jesus broke that bread and he drank that cup they feasted on the Passover. Which was the flesh of the lamb, and unleavened bread and bitter herbs." And said, "There it is, now we should sit down and eat too." "Well," they said, "that sounds great, Oh, that sounds great." And one fellow said, "Well, I'm a very rich man (you know) it wouldn't be very nice if I just brought an egg omelet (you know) and cold at that. I couldn't bring something like that. Why, (he said,) my dignity and my friends I would have to bring pheasant under-glass, no corn on the cob, oh heavens no, it would have to be a soufflé at the very least." Very fine something or other. And he said, "I wouldn't drink that sour old wine, (he said) I got the very best." He said, "Why, (he said) I got the finest vintage forty years back, (he said) we'll crack a crock of that." he said. And they put it down, "Well you see, you honor the Lord with such lovely extravagance, beautiful, and divineness." Why didn't he say when they put the ointment over his feet? "Why, he said, "You got the poor always, but (he said) this is under my burial." And he was very happy that they took the beautiful crock of the ointment and put it on his feet. "Oh we'll just have this lovely wine and we'll drink it amongst ourselves and the pheasant under-glass. And the humming bird tongues, and the frog's eyebrows, we'll put them all in here with a lovely sauce." (Madeira sauce, whatever it is.) And somebody say, "Well, you see, but you know there was also the poor shepherds and they could only bring a little tiny thing." And that's the time the wrote the song about the 'Drummer Boy', trump, trump, trump, you know. Shee, merciful God. 13. So, the poor old crock, he said, "Well," he said, "The Lord he was born poor (he said) in a stable, so I'll just bring some little measly thing." So much for interpretation. They blew it. I'm not telling you lies. I'm telling you truth. And I'm sarcastic as I can be, because I want to get this thing right. Division! What is a division? Off the Word! What is a sect? What is a schism? Off the Word! You say, "Well, Bro. Vayle, let's prove that thing by Bro. Branham that's a sect." Well, I'll tell you, I'm glad you want me to prove it. William Branham preached on Sovereignty of God, amazing grace of God. He preached on predestination and he preached it hard. And Israel at the Red Sea, he preaches that and he comes home and he said, "I left the church here, I came back to a cult." Because they didn't believe predestination. And predestination to Bro. Branham was, He knew exactly how many fleas there would be, and how many times the fleas would bat his eyeballs, (if he had eye balls) and how many there are that would take to make a pound of lard. (Or tallow from fleas) That's infinite. That's predestination. That's God. And man says, "I can't take that." He's a sect right now. (See?) Not discerning the body. Not discerning, not judging by the Word. Not going according to the Word. That's what's wrong. It's always been what's wrong. 14. Now, look at those verses over there is 1 Corinthians. I won't read anymore here, because… what I was reading here it comes by revelation, by the Holy Ghost and the Holy Ghost gave the revelation. And Paul simply said in 1 Corinthians 11, he said, "I received the revelation from God." Not that he sat down and ate the Passover, but that he took bread and he broke it, and wine and he drank, and he said, "You do it in memory of my death." Now, somebody comes along and says, "Well, that's very, very nice, but you know, here's the thing about it, you see, it's till He comes." And so he puts emphasis on 'His Coming', never mind the fact that he died. "Oh hallelujah, come Lord, come Lord, come Lord, come Lord." SHUT UP! Death! Death! Death. Commemorating his death, [raps on the pulpit] until He comes. And then we'll do it again on the other side in the Millennium. And no doubt the New Jerusalem for all I know, because the Lamb is on the Throne. And a lamb speaks of sacrifice, and sacrifice speaks of blood. And remember, Jesus is the Blood of God. And It was a Life that had to have blood, and blood has to have flesh. So, He became flesh and blood. See? And you remembered that he died. You remembered that he died. You say, "Why?" Because I'm a sinner. I'm a sinner. I'm a sheep gone astray, I'm a lamb that went to the city dumps. I'm a prince. In the interim I was a beggar on the dung heap, till He took me off. The Blood did it. He perfects a Bride by the Blood. The Blood scatters sin till there be no evidence of it. I want to honor His death. And when you honor His death, you don't add or take from It either. You leave It alone. See? 15. I'm not mad at anybody, and I don't get carried away so far that I can't come back either. Because, I'm preaching this for the fourth time and I'm preaching it more right than at any other time. Because I know what I'm saying and why I'm saying it, because I'm not a prophet. But, I did recall, he said, “This is not withheld from anybody, except under gross immorality,” which is fragrantly disobedience, flaunting against the Blood that cleanses him. Doing despot to the spirit of grace. See? Do you see how they crucified the Word back there? And they're crucifying It tonight, because they don't care what the Word said. Paul said, "You got everything to put you in a Rapture." Bro. Branham said, "That'll put you in a Rapture." And they…, "Oh, no, no, no, oh, look it here. Look it there, it's got to come, that's got to come, this is got to come, that's got to come." SHUT UP! There'll be no resurrection for you, unless you learn to stand still. None for me, unless I learn to stand still. Oh listen, there's everything He gave us to put us in the Resurrection and the Rapture. We've got It. It's in our possession. We don't have to work it up. We don't have to mess with it. No way, shape and form. 16. Okay, I said we're over here in 1 Corinthians 11:18-19. He said, "There's divisions, heresies." Do you know that they were heretical? Truly heretical. Not heretical to a heretical church, but heretical to the true body of Jesus Christ the true Bride by messing with the Lord's Supper. Yeah. They become a sect. They talk about the 'agape' feast. The love feast. Bro. Branham said, “Love is corrective.” So what do you think of that? Heresies, that they which are approved may be made manifest. In other words, there'll be those that will stick to the Word. Those who mess with the Word, those who disbelieve and walk off from the Word. Three kinds of believers. Oh, that church. You say, "Bro. Vayle, I just can't believe it's all the serious." That's because you're an unbeliever, make believer, one of the two of them. Sorry, but that's the truth. Look at this church at the end-time that left her first love, got messing with the Word. Couldn't even get an ordinance straight. Yeah. Give a little tiny kid a handkerchief and you say, "now blow your nose." And the kid wants to wipe his nose before he even blows it. But, you can teach a kid to blow his nose and wipe in due course. But, you couldn't even get these Christians supposed to be full of the Holy Ghost to do it. They can't even wipe their noses. Huh? They departed. 17. You say, "I just can't believe that…I just can't believe that doing that would do it." You see, because you're an unbeliever or make-believer. Because, it did it. Well, didn't it do it? Well did it, or didn't it? Oh come on. I'm looking at a bunch of zombies am I? I'm not looking at anybody, I hope, I'm trying not to. Because, I love you too much. Don't get scared of me, because, you know, I don't scare anybody really. My bark is up here, I'm teaching. I must… I'm a different person, but, I'm going to lay it on the line here. You do what you want. There's nothing to be afraid of if you're not in gross immorality, and you don't nether with it. You simply come and say, "broken body, shed Blood, he died, hallelujah, He died for me." And you know the Word concerning It. You're not like the Pharisees who said, "Well, that in Isaiah 53 is a broken spirit of Israel." (Poor Israel bleeding and dying; they're still bleeding and dying.) "But one day we'll take over." Hogwash! They'll take over? We're taking over with Jesus the Christ. We're the Bride, and He's the Groom. 18. Listen to this church: "I know your works, you're neither hot nor cold." [Rev 3:15] Certainly not, because you're piddling around even with the Lord's Supper. Take it, or leave it! You say, "You mean to say I'm red hot if I take It, this?" Yeah. "Then I'm cold if I leave It?" Yeah. And if you mess It, that you're luke-warm and you're nauseous. You make God vomit. "Well…," you say… Listen, don't talk to me, It's in the Bible. He said, "they became a sect over It." And I'm supposed to say, "Well, you see Bro. Paul you made a mistake, dear saints of God I love you Bro. Paul, but you made a mistake dear friend?" Shut up! Paul didn't make a mistake, he got it by revelation. He didn't go running to Peter, James and John and say, "I hear there's a sort of thing called the Lord's Supper, clue me in on it." The Lord appeared and told him, "Paul, listen, call the Church together in memory of My death and tell them to take broken bread, eat a little bit, take wine, drink a little bit, that's it. Teach them what it stands for, it's My death and tell them the church will do it until I Come." You say, "What if we're here for at least thirty days in the Resurrection?" Well, take It. Jesus ate fish in the Resurrection. (Yeah) He did, He ate broiled fish and honeycomb. Yum, yum, yum. And he said, "We'll have wine." Somebody's appetite is going to be too weak for this one I can tell you that. They'll want something else other than just that. What you it be if the Marriage Supper was sitting down up there with a loaf of bread, with bread broken in a glass of wine? "Say, I don't think I like that, I was all set for pheasant under-glass at least. Who sent myself out they took the Tree of Life. Or least, Manna." Was the man that was broken, and some wine poured out. "My, my, see, my thoughts were far grander." That's your trouble, you luke-warm bird you. [laughter] buzzard coming to the feast of God. 19. I don't say that's what it is, what if it was? Oh, you get them disappointed. "Oh, ho, no, I couldn't that." You're right, you won't be there to take It. So, He said, "You're luke-warm, wretched, miserable, blind, naked," [Rev 3:16-17] but you sure can boast as though you got a lot of things. Now He said, "I tell you what…" Now, how does He correction the situation? Through a Word. Through a Word. He said, "You think you're rich and you got this and that. But you're wretched, miserable, naked blind." Now, He said, correcting, "Come to Me and I'll give you the Word on it." You say, "I just don't know if I really believe that." You don't have to believe it. The Bible says, "The Bride has made herself ready." What with? Well, what's the Groom provided? The Word. (See?) We're suppose to drink and honor the Blood, the broken body of the Lord Jesus Christ. See? 20. Okay, now Matthew 24:24, tells us the Elect are not going to be deceived. So therefore, the true Elect, if they are guilty in this hour as they were in that hour, they will be corrected. And when they're corrected they are no longer guilty. For It says here: "Let a man judge him, he that drinks unworthily, he'll drink condemnation, not discerning the Lord's body." [1 Cor 11:28-29] Now, what is the body of the Lord? Word! Bro. Branham said, "You're not eating on the Body-Word, you're not living on the word of a man, you're living on the body-Word of the Lord Jesus Christ." "Eat my flesh, and drink my Blood." See? Now, we are literally using the Word of the Lord Jesus Christ, the vindicated prophetic Word of this hour. Now, he says here: because you cannot discern the Lord's body, you cannot discern the Word. That's what he's talking about. He said, "You simply turned your nose up at the Word every single time. You cannot judge the Word." Now listen, you're supposed to judge that Word a hundred percent. As Bro. Branham said, "If you're full of the Holy Ghost, you'll say 'amen' to every single Word," that comes from that prophet. And you'll bring everything to the Light, and you won't be afraid to do it. Now, it'll throw shivers down your back for awhile, till you get to understand how God operates. There's condemnation to every person, I don't care who he is until he comes right to that Light. And when he comes to that Word the condemnation goes. 21. You say, "Bro. Vayle, I think I'm a horrible person." So bring it to the Word. You'll get help. Now, if you try to defend yourself, you'll get nowhere. If you're scared, you'll get nowhere. You got to just bring it to the Word. You bring it to the Word they'll be no trouble. Now, that's what he told them here. He said, You're all mixed up." He said, "a simple bread, a sip of wine and you take it in a memory," and that's what you do. And these people had been (they had) been messing with every single bit of the Word that Paul laid out before them until he said, "You're worse than rawest heathen I've ever seen." He said, "You're so messed and cooped up its pitiful. There isn't one thing that you haven't messed up." They messed up on tithing, they messed up on giving, they messed up on gifts, they messed up on baptism. They did give it, they were baptizing wrong; they messed up on Communion, they messed up on everything. They were messed up period! And so was messed up Pentecost. So was messed up church. A wanton whore. Oh, you might like the word 'harlot', but the Bible uses the others, so get used to it. 22. [1 Corinthians 11:] (30) For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, (certainly) and many sleep. (31) (Now) if we would judge ourselves,… How? If we would apply the Word to ourselves. If we would take the Word the way It is laid out by a vindicated prophet, and just say, "that's right, that's right, that's right," and stand with It. And one day there's going to be a people who stand with that Word and they won't be sick. They're suddenly going to feel great, hallelujah. They're going to look right through the 'curtain of time' and see the dead. They're going to walk where nobody's ever walked before. Do you hear me? They'll walk where nobody has ever walked before, because a company of living people have never, ever left this earth without dying. Because of the discerning Word. Because they know what the Word says. Because they know what the Word means. Had a vindicated prophet. 23. All right, now you can see what's going on. They came together to eat the Lord's Supper. And it wasn't the Lord's Supper. No! "Oh," you say, "but Bro. Vayle, you see my dear brother at the end you know they took the bread, they took the wine." You're nuts! You understand what I'm saying? Do you understand what I'm saying people here in this church? You don't mix anything that's not supposed to be mixed. No! No! No! You can't eat one thing [knocks on pulpit] this is separate. Now, you've been baptized, but not in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. You ain't baptized. "Oh," you say, "I'm baptized." No, no, you're not baptized. And if you got a doubt, you're not baptized. "Oh," you say, "I went down in the water." This is not to eat the Lord's Supper, this is not baptism, this in not gifts. [raps on pulpit] Uh? Uh? Come on, oh come on, is it? I lost you again, you're looking at me like zombies. If you crud up and mess up this Lord's Supper, it is not the Lord's Supper. If you mess up gifts, it is no longer gifts, it's a false anointing. Then if you've got a water baptism messed up, you are not baptized in water, you're simply immersed somehow and God knows, and God cares less. You are not baptized. No, you're not baptized. You think you are, but you are not. You have not obeyed God. And Bro. Branham categorically said, "If you've not been baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and you baptized any other way, it is 'Thus Saith the Lord', it is commanded you must be re-baptized." Then you weren't baptized to begin with. 24. Now, somebody said, "Well, you know, I really don't know how he was baptized, but I kind of think I might have been baptized right." "But." you say, "Bro. Vayle, the thing is this, I don't know that I trusted that man that baptized me in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ." I don't care two-bits about the guy, you were baptized right. You see how nuts we can get? Always applying our own understanding, forget it! The prophet gave us the understanding. Look like natural people, we want to out-God, God, out- Word the Word, out-prophet the prophet, out-Jesus, Jesus, out-Spirit the Spirit, (phfft!) we're out. Yeah, we did it, we got out. We weren't in it in the first place. Divisions amongst us, not discerning the body. It's a body of the Word. You follow me? It's a body of the Word that we are. Because, His body is the Word. The body of the Lord Jesus Christ, the flesh is the Word. And He is Word and we are Word. He was Logos, and we were in Logos. So therefore, we were always miniscule Logos. And now we're coming to the full manifestation what lay in Logos. That's not hard. We're coming into full manifestation of what lay in what? Adam and the beast. One of which lay in God and the other only lay in creation, Haw, we've been in God, always were. Creation was something made. (phfft!) Not that I'm against it, praise God for it. But I mean, when I said "phfft!," that's to let you know that there is no comparison. 25. Why, my goodness me, here sits something somebody made, does that compare with a man? No, the man is a billion, billion, billion, billion, billion, trillion, trillion more than that of anything made. Then man came along and he began worshipping the creature more than the Creator. He began worshipping his creeds and dogmas instead of going by the Word. No wonder things got messed up, and are messed up today. But the true Bride, he's not going to be guilty. No sir, he's not going to be guilty. Why? Because he's been brought back to the Word. Now listen, Paul said he gave them everything to put them in a Rapture, and they messed everything up, they couldn't get anywhere near a Rapture. Then if you get un-messed brother/ sister, if we should get un-messed we go in a Rapture. We're not condemned. We're not guilty before Him. "Well," you say, "I'll tell you what Bro. Vayle, the guys at this end though, I just don't know how they qualify." Bro. Branham said, "That's brotherly love." You see, we're pretty sticky, so Love Himself comes down. "That which is perfect is come." [1 Cor 13:10] And people don't want that which is Perfect is Come. Oh they say, "It's not here." That's true, for them It's not. That's why this never was true to these people back there either. 26. Now listen, let's look at this picture here: Paul says in here, he's talking about the whole, the whole shebang, and then he said, "Love never fails. Prophesies fail. Tongues fail. Knowledge vanishes away, everything. We only know in part. We prophesy in part. Well when that which is in part is over, its full fruition, perfect is come, in part is done away. [1 Cor13:8-10] Just like the Ages of the Old Testament. In part, in part, in part, till here was the Word. The New Testament, part, part, part, here's the Word. Perfect has come. God is love. He's here. Not some virtue like these thunderbirds try to make it. God's not a virtue, He's virtuous, but He's not a virtue. (Fap!) What ignorance, trying to reduce God to a virtue. Haw, you can't do it. It's a good thing He's virtuous, but then again, who know what virtue is? Virtue back in the old Roman days in Corinth when they taught the young pure virgins to go down to the market and there the first man that proposed intercourse they were to subdue themselves to him, and that was virtue. Yeah, that was virtue. What is some syphilitic ugly filthy slob got with some beautiful young virgin and she gave her body? Because that was religion, that was virtue. Is it virtue? Hogwash, that's from the pit of hell. If God is virtuous He would have to define what virtue is, and a prophet defines us. And the Word defines love. And the Word defines it all. And everybody goes their own way and says, "Well, I think this, I think that, I think…" What does it matter what you and I think? (Fap!) And God's going to do it. Restored Word. See? 27. Okay, we saw what was going on at the table of the Lord. Simple remembrance, that's what it was. Okay, Cain and Abel all over again. Everybody knows that. You can see the whole trend. See? What did John say? "In Him was Light, and there's no darkness at all." [1 Jn 1:5] In Him, and if we're in Him, there's no darkness. How can a man say he's Bride and be off the Word? How can a woman say she's Bride and be off the Word? (See?) And the simplicity is what Bro. Branham brought us. (Now, I'm not going to take too long, because we've been here quite a while already.) 28. But now, Jesus is our Passover. That's exactly why we're to celebrate It. That's why He ate as the type, ate the type, being the antitype and gave the ordinance in commemoration, because that's all you can do is commemorate. Because, he dieth no more in that he died as a sin offering, He can't die again, He can't be offered again, no way. So what do we do? We make Him a memorial. Christ is our Passover. He's been sacrificed. So, if Christ is our Passover, (see?) you and I can't do it. No way. So, we just eat and we drink. Broken body, shed blood. He died, he gave his life. See? That Life comes back upon us. Well, a person say, "Well, here's a beautiful thing you see, you see now that we die, you see, we're dead indeed unto sin. You and I are never indeed dead unto sin unless the Holy Ghost is in it. Unless we're born again there's no way. There's no way, there's no way. Because that which is born of God alone cannot sin. (See?) You got to be born again. See, they always get mixed up on everything. They want to apply this, they want to apply water baptism to regeneration. They want to apply this to something else. They want to apply everything. Like I said the AMA, I think it is, that Pentecostal bunch, they said, "Hey, who needs the bread? Why we've got the Word? Who needs the wine? We've got the Holy Ghost." Shut up! It doesn't commemorate a special spiritual understanding of Word, or that you've got the Holy Ghost, It commemorates His death. It has to do with sin. 29. Now, let's go over here to the Book of Hebrews 6:4-5. "At the end-time it's impossible for those who once were all enlighten." The last time the Light strikes, It'll never strike again. At that time they "tasted the heavenly gift, partake of the Holy Ghost; taste the good Word of God, and the powers of the world to come." William Branham demonstrated it, through the spirit of Moses, Elijah, Christ and Samuel. Showed it, and they said, "Now, go ahead, turn It down this time, never again." At this time comes harvest. At this time it's all over. Why? "Because they crucified to themselves the Son of God afresh, put him to an open shame." [Heb 6:6] It's exactly what they do. Can't deny it. There's no way they'll ever come back. See? Why? "The earth which drinketh forth the rain that cometh oft upon it. (The rain is the Word of God.) Brings forth herbs…" [Heb 6:7] Brings forth what? Brings forth that which was seeded there by God to receive His blessing. "But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected." [Heb 6:8] The same rain ripens the tares. 30. Now, Bro. Harold came here the other day and he came just before the rain came. And the wheat was looking pretty good. We went by and we looked at the green grain, and I said, "Now, Harold listen, you watch, with this rain within just a matter of twenty four hours (you watch) it'll begin to turn yellow. Turn gold. Within forty eight hours that thing was getting ripe, red-brown." What did it? The rain did it. The grain in the presence of the sun with the rain that fell on it turned golden. It was ripening. That's what the Former-Rain is doing right now and at the same time it's bringing forth the briers. You know what time you got to really hit the weeds? You got to hit them right now, and some of you are a little bit wondering whether you hit the wheat and you're going to the weeds just right. If you don't hit them just right now in this rain when that wheat is ripening you're out of luck. You're cultivators won't go there unless you get them way up in the air, or you'll just spray, whatever you're going to do. And if you don't cultivate to get that rain just right, then the roots will be exposed everything else, shook up, you ain't going to get nowhere. At the time the wheat begins to ripen, that's at the time of the Latter-Rain, and the Former-Rain hits it, and the grain gets golden ripe. It's beautiful to look at it right now. What's it doing? It's going to the stages. It's filling out nice and plump. God's not going to take a wizen bunch of old goats into the Rapture. He's going to take a nice bunch of pretty plump kids, sixteen years of age in the dew of youth in the glory of God. You don't believe me? Stick around and find out. Look in the mirror for the last time that you're dying, you're living. "Briers and thorns will come at the same time to gather the wheat in the garner, burn up the chaff with fire unquenchable." [Heb 6:8] Certainly He'll do that. That's what It says, because you're at the very end-time. You're at the harvest time when all things are coming to the very end. 31. Okay, now back here again. He said, "I have received a revelation the night which he was betrayed." [1 Cor 11:23] That means: to expose with bad intentions. He was exposed with bad intentions. He was brought out in a light which was a hundred percent incongruous, or opposite to what he was really in. Now, what about those guys who preach and practice polygamy? "Oh," they say, "I believe the Branham Message." Like fun they do. We're betrayed. You say, "Well, just a minute now Lee Vayle, do you believe the Branham Message?"… Sure do. I get a little paper called 'Martyr Call' from the seer prophecy, Melcine is the fellow's wife, (Wayne's wife) and she ought to shut her mouth. She's a nice gal, but she's a big yappy preacher-ess. Baptist. Now, they got the whore mark, right? But, they were talking one time about antichrist sect, and they said, "The worst of all down here is the Branham bunch." Because, they ran across a bunch of kooks that made William Branham God. But, they didn't bother to come up to America here to find out if guys like Lee Vayle had made him God. See? Now, we've been betrayed, because it's brought to light that people like us believe in William Branham, prophet of God. So now we're idolaters, whore-mongers, kooks. Don't think we aren't according to them. Betrayed. William Branham fulfilled the very Word of Almighty God he was supposed to fulfill. The prophet is the Living Word of God made manifest. But, what happened? The Pentecostal's turned on him, betrayed him. That's why they're going to burn as chaff, so don't make them anything but what God said they were. Bro. Branham said they were the shuck. Now, some well intended soul will come along and say, "Oh I couldn't possible say that!" Well, don't bother saying it, get out. Forget it. Who told you to be nice? I thought you're supposed to be righteous. Like one fellow said, "The Bible says love your wives, you don't have to like them, just love them." That was a nasty thing to say, [laughter] but you know I don't believe that's the right thing to say myself. I think you got to love man like them, if you didn't like them, well shucks what's the use? You couldn't love them either. But I said, there's a sort of a point there you know, but maybe it's on top of the head, but it's anyway. 32. All right, he was betrayed, set forth in a wrong light. This end-time ministry of William Branham was betrayed by Pentecostal's. Crucified the very Oneness people that's supposed to know so much about Godhead hated him the worst. Therefore they have the worst error. Jesus-Only is a sadistic doctrine that blasphemes the Holy Ghost. Water baptism in Jesus' Name is entirely wrong. You say, "How do you know?" The prophet said so. "For this cause many will die prematurely." [Heb 6:30] Now, It says, "if we would go to that Word," that's all it takes. Now, brother/sister, I'm going to close. (Now, I'm not half as mean as I sound. I even left my notes here.) A man comes along and he says, "Now, I want to tell you something, (he said) I think we ought to have foot-washing before we have Communion, because you see it types." What does it type? "Well, you see, we should get ready, it shows that we (you know) wash each other's feet. We're nice, we're this and that." You tell me why, the prophet didn't do it. Well did he? Who's in the prophet's meetings and saw it, time after time? Never. It was Communion then foot-washing. Then why would you reverse it? "Well, it's just some nice little connotation." Well, you may have your connotation, don't bring it in this church. 33. Like the fellow came by, I told him, I said, "Don't come here and try to…" I said, "Why do you want to visit me?" I asked him flat. Because I was pretty…pretty ouchy in those days. You think I'm pretty ouchy now. Oh, come on, I'm sweet as a cucumber that's been made into pickles. [Bro. Vayle laughs] Ha, ha, ha. Oh, mellows of marshmallows that has been set on fire. No problem. So I said, "Why do you want to come and visit me? You want to come and tell me something? To tell me I'm wrong? To correct me? To teach me?" I said, "Forget it!" But, he came anyway. Then he wants to tell me and you, "why now if anybody dies, well you're not Bride." Get your own soap-box, don't come around here. You say, "Why?" Because, Lee Vayle is in this pulpit. This is His pulpit. Did you know that? This is my pulpit, this is not yours, this is mine. Now, I'm sorry about that, but this is the truth. You say, "Who are you?" I'm an elder, and that makes me next to the Holy Spirit. You say, "Bro. Vayle, hold it?" No, you hold it, the prophet said so. A lot of people don't believe that. They think that's nonsense. "Oh, the pastor's some great authority." Hogwash! God's a great Authority. And I've been pointing you to Him Who liveth amongst us all these years. And I told you, if we go to a Lake of Fire and I'm responsible taking you there, don't worry children, you won't stay there too long, because you still got your eyes on Him, not on Lee Vayle. If you have, I'm sorry, I hurt you, I didn't mean it. Because I've talked about Him, and He's here brother/ sister. But I love Him and He loves us. 34. Oh listen, we're not getting mixed up. No, no. We're not trying to spiritualize, no, no. We just come and celebrate his death. We do what the prophet did. We do it, and we stand guard and watch it. You say, "Why?" Because, Abraham stood guard over the sacrifice, and the Pillar of Fire came down in between and consumed them. One day that same Holy Spirit, Pillar of Fire, He's going to consume away all the flesh that's left. And we're going to come forth as pure gold immortal. Yeah. And Lee Vayle is going to be sweet, sweeter than honey in the rock. Because, be just like Jesus. You say, "I'm waiting for that day." Not half as much as I am, forget it kid. You do your own longing, never mind me. I'm glad you pray for me, I pray for you, and we pray for each other. That's why It says here, why, It says here distinctly, "Let a man examine himself... [Heb 11:28] …tarry one for another, [Heb 11:33] so on and so forth. Tarry. Then he says, correcting: "If any man hunger, eat at home…[Heb 11:34] then come here, take a little bread, drink a little wine and say, 'praise God for his death', and I'll do it until I do it with Him immortal." Thank God for the death of the Son. Brother/sister, let's get this flat, the man who said, "The centrality of the universe of God is the Cross," I believe is right. I believe those books tell us or redemption. And I believe redemption is by Blood, and I believe when you talk about Blood brother/sister, you leave the Blood as blood that was shed. A Life that was given, a body broken. He died that you and I might live, and you're only full of the Holy Ghost because of the Blood, or you wouldn't be brother/sister. There wouldn't be one gift; there wouldn't be a marriage; there wouldn't be a Supper; there wouldn't be a Millennium; there wouldn't be anything. We've be out there in a never-never land, and that little eternal part of us, that Seed in the soul would be out there somewhere clothed in a never-never land, except for the Blood that allowed the Holy Ghost to join us back. 35. So, He said, "Listen, I want you to take emblems, and when you do, I want you to tarry for each other." [Heb 11:33] What for? To get the revelation right. It's not to fuss and argue who's got the revelation and to cause division, but to pray one for another, that each one may have the proper revelation to understand the Word. You see, you can begin to see now why Bro. Branham preached 'God in Simplicity'. And then when he preached 'The Seals', he came back the last night and he said, "Oh, when I preached 'God in Simplicity', I didn't know how simple it was." And I said, "Oh brother, if that's simple…" (shoo) you talk about knowing a-b-c's for algebra. And, but you know, he's right. I remember a certain brother he sat in the meetings in Chicago, I told you Bro. Hoyer, a great man of God. Greatest Greek student, Hebrew student perhaps of this age, protégé of Ivan Pannin, and I remember the night I was preaching on "Serpent Seed" and I didn't think he'd be there, but he was there. He got in just a tiny bit late. And don't you know, I thought "oh boy, just my luck. I'm not very smart and there's a smart one, I don't know any Greek and he knows all the Greek. But I stand up here and preach 'Serpent Seed', because I can't change my mind and then started it." If he'd have walked in before I might have changed the subject. I saw him looking at his wife, looking back, shifty eye boy, she shift the eye back, never saying a word. You know, that expression (you know) that doesn't betray stuff, but the eyes were, (you know) give me the old back and forth; and I thought, "Well, that's something." 36. That night he left the church, shook hands, "good night Bro. Vayle." We're to have supper together the next night with the Abacola's(?) So, we get together and we have supper. And he said, "Bro. Vayle," he said, "last night I heard you preach on Serpent Seed." He said, "My wife and I go home and go to bed. We talked for many hours. We talked back and forth, and Bro. Vayle, you know, you are right!" I'm right about this too. Just like the prophet. 36. He didn't make a great song and dance out of it, he laid it there, "this commemorates a death, the Bloodshed, the body broken." And he said, "You don't dare stop anybody, except for gross immorality." How could we tolerate a man eating and drinking with us who was grossly immoral? Because, that means he is wantonly, wickedly, willfully doing what he doesn't have to do, but he's going to do it in spite anyway, then kick him out. Get rid of him. But, why do the others take it? Because, they know somebody had to die for them. See? 37. Now listen, you tell me how anybody can deny anybody these elements, these emblems on the grounds that we believe and they believe the perfect Word of God revealed today? We do discern. We do judge by the Word. Friend of mine one day phoned me after his Gethsemane to get him back to God and these things straightened out, and he said, "Lee, I got to apologize to you," he said, "because all these years I never could understand why you took the stand you did." He said, "I always had my eyes on the men and what I thought they were doing, but, you always look right at that Word and judge by It." And he came to that place too. Now, brother/sister, I am no paragon of virtue, you know that. I might be a paragon, 'long gone', I might be more than a paragon, I don't know, and I care less. But, the virtue, forget it. But you know one thing, that in this church we stick to a Word the best we know. It's got to be this Word. And it doesn't matter about you and me, and this is the beautiful part of it, we are fast coming to the place… well look, it doesn't matter what you and I think or believe. The point is what does it say. Because, here's the thing, we're not going to duck it anyway. So, you might as well at least get prepared. You know how it is when a person knows he's going to get shot, he ... what… he does this you know, [Bro. Vayle demonstrates] well, he might as well get prepared. And you can't unless you look right…and where it's going to come from. It's going to be judged by this Word revealed. Going to be judged by One Christ Jesus Who is the Word. In other words, when you're talking about that, you're talking about the fact, look, this is proven. This Word for our hour, and there's no more proof to come, it's over. We're going, we're as good as gone if we're part of It. Don't be afraid of It, embrace It, love It. Take It to your bosom, don't loath It. Love It. Open your heart to It. It's not going to hurt you. It's going to help you. 38. I went to a doctor one time, I was so…by second or third night, I sat up with arthritis (bursitis) man alive, I could…the only way I could sleep, then I could only sleep fitfully, and he said, "This is going to hurt." I said, I'll tell you what, if you cure it, you can rip it off and beat me with the stump." I was ready for it, and it hurt. Now, he could have prescribed some strong pills, he didn't give me one pill. So, I had a few aspirins, that didn't do any good. That night I was really in pain, because it still hurt. I went back the next day or so, (whatever it was) he gave me another treatment and then he knocked it plumb out a hundred percent. And I was suffering, it had all frozen up and messed up and real agony. But you see, he said, "it's going to hurt." "Well," I said, "hey man, let's get the hurt over with." Everybody's got the idea (you know) that you can cut the dog's tail off by inches and make the dog feel good. No, one swipe of that tail, is a whole lot better than by inches. You know that sheep are born with long tails? I think there's only one type of sheep that doesn't have long tail. Every has a long tail. I don't know how long, but it's fairly long. Now, the farmer doesn't say, "I'll just clip his tail off one at a time." The shepherd says, "Hey, I think that's really cure." He goes zip, and then some more, then zip the next day. Well the poor sheep he's go right… why, he'd jump on the first cloud that's not anymore a hundred feet over his head. 39. Oh, come on, that's what we're trying to get with this Word here. It's simple, it may hurt a little bit, it may jar us. But look here… I had a good friend of mine phone me today, and he said, "Lee," he said, "I'm glad you brought that up, (he said) because I want to talk to you." He said, "A certain brother, (he called him by name, said) well look it here, Bro. Branham said this about the baptism with the Holy Ghost, and he's saying over here now, (he said) about the fact that they thought he was saying they were two different things." The baptism of the Holy Ghost and the rebirth. "Well," he said, "you get the rebirth by the baptism with the Holy Ghost." I said, "My brother, he was talking about the man being saved." See? It isn't that the work wasn't being done. He was believing unto it. And when you believe unto it, you're foolish virgin, and you'll come up saved. Yeah, what drew that man to salvation, but not rebirth? It had to be God. His name was in the Book, Who put it there? "As in Adam all die, in Christ all are made alive," somewhere. [1 Cor 15:22] Now this man wants to argue, and you know what I told that preacher? I said I'd throw him out. I said all he wants to do is argue, it's too late in the day. Now, if he argues about that, he'll argue about something else. I said doesn't he understand I argued for four and one half hours for his good? Now, you people sit and say, "Well, Bro. Vayle, I don't believe you." Fine, drop dead! You've just made me a liar. You've made the 'Church Age Book' a liar. You tell me a prophet lied to me. Because, I believe you are born again then full of the Holy Ghost by some spirit that was first of all God's Spirit that bores, that saved, bored me again and Jesus' Spirit that filled me, or was it vise-a-versa, I forget what I believed, but I had two spirits. For four and a half hours I argued with the prophet. Not that I wanted to argue, but my God, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. There's no way I could believe what I was hearing, because you see, I heard it the other way. Now, make up your mind. Make up your own, so much for your thinking. 40. One fellow tried to tell me something up in Canada. I preached the Presence of God, and he was so busy about something else, he never…It went over his head. And I said, "Tell me Dave," I said, "would you had known the baptism with the Holy Ghost and rebirth is one and the same thing, except you read in the Church Age Book?" He said, "No." Then I said, "How do you know this is right?" I don't get a revelation between the lines the prophet wrote. I get a read…a pre…I get the revelation that the prophet preached. I believe I've got it. You say, "Well, thank you that's nice, I'll believe what you have to say." So no, forget it, you don't believe what I have to say, you believe what the prophet said. Check what I say with what the prophet said and run it through the Bible. Where did the prophet get it? Outside of this Word? Then the prophet didn't get it. "Oh," you say, "but the prophet said, you believe everything a prophet said even if it's not in the Word?" Show me in the Word where it says Hitler is going to invade Poland? Show me in the Word where it says, Communism is going swallow up Nazism and Fascism? It isn't there, but it is. Show me those seven visions in the Bible about that egg-shaped car? It certainly isn't there. Not in the word egg-shaped, but it is there, is understanding of science progressing to where it is today. Show me the atomic bomb there? It's not there, but it is there, because Bro. Branham explained what they were doing in science way back there that brought the flood. A man brought it on himself. Anything a prophet says in the Spirit of God is "Thus Saith the Lord', and it doesn't have to be in the Bible. But, when he comes to redeeming grace and Word of God and revelation concerning redemption and our eternality, it had better be here Word by Word. [raps on the Bible] Because it is. 41. Now, he may explain how, but It's here. Because this Word is has been sown brother/sister. It's this Word that's going to come to pass. Not what I preach, but I'll tell you something: I might have sounded rough tonight, that's okay. When I preach up north I'm worse than ever. But, I'll say this, I'm right as far as I'm concerned. You can do what you want, go shake you heads and say that I'm right, because that's not the way to do it. Look for yourself, and see if I'm wrong. Get the continuity, because that's what counts. Because you cannot have a chain unless every link is there and it its place. "Oh," you say, "Bro. Vayle, I have a chain it could break." We need an unbroken chain. Not in pieces that you may forge and weld, but an unbroken. And he starts out by saying, "Listen, I brought you to a place where you could have walked right in, but look what you're doing. I brought you where you fell behind in not one revelation. Not one gift, not one nothing." The prophet put us under the Seals, the Thunders, not one thing missing, and they say, "Let's have this, let's have that. Let's do this, let's do it this way." 42. Well, maybe I'm an old fuddy-duddy. But you know, years ago when I was in about grade four we had a teacher who had on our report-card 'crafts and arts' or something. "Well," she said, "every kid must learn crafts and arts." So, she made every kid bring some knitting needles to school and I learned how to knit. Haw, I learned how to knit, (phfft!) I was dropping more stitches, (haw, you know) than stitches should be dropped. I never, ever made anything, no way shape and form. And there are a lot of people like that teacher they think they got to be doing something. They think they got to be adding or subtracting, or making something here, or making there. Brother/sister, it's already made for us, as Paul said, "Look, you've got everything to get you there." And then he said, "Now watch it, you've taken step number one, and step number one is always two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. It's always the same step, it is always away from the Word." It started that way, it ends that way. And there's only one way to get back, and that's get back with the Word. When will people smarten up? When will the learn that the prophet was a hundred percent right? "That which is perfect has come." [1 Cor 13:10] Who is perfect but God, and what is God but the Word? And by His grace we have the perfect revelation, the Revealer has revealed Himself, Himself personally and His ways, and we have nothing left but the Rapture. "For the Lord Himself has descended with a Shout, the voice of the archangel, the Trump of God and the dead in Christ shall rise. [1 Th 4:16] And we're getting out of here with Him. 43. Now, brother/sister listen: I don't care if I feel anointed, and I don't care if you feel anointed. I care less, because that's what the devil like to say, "Well, now Bro. Vayle you didn't feel too anointed, the people don't feel too anointed." It's that, it hasn't got a thing to do with my feelings. I'll tell you why: this was here trillions of years in an unwritten form before I was made even sperm and egg to come into a consciousness that one day we'll go back to my super consciousness. Huh? Yeah. A full fledge member of Logos. Yeah. It hasn't got a thing to do with my feelings. Nope. It's got everything to do with my soul's ability to comprehend the revelation. To realize that the prophet said true, "everything lays in those Seals and under those Thunders to put us in a Rapture." Why? Because, "The Lord Himself shall descend with the Message."[1 Cor 4:16] To put Himself at the Head of the Church and bring us in harmonious relationship to Him. Listen brother/sister, (I'll get you out of here right away) a woman wrote to Bro. Branham and she said, "Bro. Branham, I just don't know how to submit to the Lord." He said, "Didn't you marry a man you knew who were seed? Didn't you marry a man and submit to him?" We're talking about the marriage night, we're talking sexual, so let's get it flat, you have to give or you don't give. And he said, "You do the same with Christ spiritually." There is, in other words, a union of love, of melding, of molding of submission. It's marriage, and that's what we are doing now, we are being subdued. The word 'subdued' is not a good word. It means a submission of love, a happiness to know of a union, one with Him the Word. He is now the True Head of the Church, because all we do is look to the Word. That's the 'Shout'. The next thing is the raising of the dead. And He does it! The next thing is changing us, and He does it! The next thing is taking us up and He does it! The next thing is the Marriage Supper, and the next thing His coming down to take over. 44. You see, look, when He came down it was out of our hands, because He is going to…that's why you see it is not virtues; it is not fruit; it is not charismatic; it is not nearness to God; it is not obedience; it is none of those things. It is God! The eighth one is not of virtue which is love after brotherly kindness, because that's still a bit sticky. See? But, He isn't. He is He, perfect, which is to come; which is God; which is love. And then some church says well, "We know when that happened to us." And I laugh and I say, "Hogwash." I know when that happened, when those Seven Mighty Angels came down, flaming fire, and He taking vengeance and the Bride screaming, "Avenge me, avenge me my Inheritance, my Inheritance." And He said, "I'm here with your inheritance, and that inheritance is my inheritance. I call you Mrs. Jesus.!" Oh bless God, let hell rise up in a fury of the enemy come against us. They're not going to have a thing to do with us, we already won the battle. "For He has risen victorious, and the same One has risen over us with healing in His wings to bring us forth Mighty Conqueror. Those old heathen… (Aw, shut up and sit down Vayle, I can't do it.) Those old heathen back there under the perverting of the Zodiac. You know, they had a woman and this woman had the foot on the snake and people say, "Well, just a minute, that's real heathenism, because you see, it's Jesus' foot that is on the snake." I've got news for you, It said, "the Seed of the woman will bruise." How are we going to do it? With Him, coming back as a Bride Warrior. They say those Amazons years ago, heathenism, there's a real Bride terrible as the sun, fair as the moon and she's coming back with Him to reap vengeance on those that hated the lover of her soul. 45. My wife always says, "I love anybody that loves my husband." You know, that woman she's just too much for me, I'll tell you, she's really scriptural on that one. So, one woman said, "I love him, I love him." And that's nice. You keep it up 'babe', I tell you what, you're a good girl. A hundred percent scriptural. Tell you what, we just don't love anybody that doesn't love our Jesus. Now, we can feel sorry, have compassion and a million things. But, I'm going to tell you brother/sister, there's something about love that's unique and different. To have love, really, there's got to be something there that actually terribly worthy, or something has gone haywire. Only He can qualify, then how can you really love anybody but Him Who is the Word? Compassion, try to help, do good, but that's reserved, the heart's reserved for one. See? So, there it is tonight. They messed up the Word, even simple Lord's Supper. Simple foot-washing. (Man, let's talk about it some other night.) Let's rise. Talk myself out, sort of. Heavenly Father, we cannot praise You enough for Your goodness, mercy and grace. There's no way, Lord, that we could possibly ever tell it, and I know we're not going to really tell it, until that day, and here in this hour, Lord, there's so many things that seem almost mundane, seem almost just mechanical. Seem almost critical, but, Lord, we know that isn't true. We know that, Father, as we partake of those emblems, we will have good done to us. There's something mystical, mysterious and wonderful and beautiful, so health giving, it's strength giving, everything lies in there, Lord, because we do what You said, and how You told us to do it, and what end, and then, Lord, before God we know that You don’t fail. For Your Own Word says, "repent and be baptize in the Name of Jesus Christ, remission of sin, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." And we know that there were thousands…and that's what happened, and millions since. And so, Lord, we know that Your Word never fails, and here we are now, partaking and we're partaking till You come. And You're already here ready to go into incarnation again, and then we're going to in glorified form do it on the other side. And, Lord, we're so grateful for it. We just now get our eyes on the fact that we've done it all these years and now the most wonderful One of all is going to happen on the other side. So, Lord, we…like Bro. Branham told us, "Branham Tabernacle, you do wrong." Every time they came together, they did it. And, Lord, if we don't do it every time we come together, because we weren't expressly told by him, let it be in our thoughts and mind, that there never be a time when we don't think of the broken bread and the wine representing broken body, shed Blood, the Life given. And we're just ready to move over to the other side to do it anew, in a new way. Wonderful, we just thank You for it, Lord God, as the people stand here. We know, Lord, that You sense that many people are sick, many are weak. That's shouldn't be amongst us anymore, Lord, because God hears the people that…and we're trying, Lord, to be one with the Word, right with the Word, I trust, Lord. If I have said one thing tonight wrong, Lord, You've got to correct me. And if my spirit's wrong, and it could be in certain areas, I pray that You'll forgive me, and correct us, because we want it under the Blood. We want it right down exactly right, Lord, that You should be tonight, O God, healing virtue flowing amongst us. As Bro. Branham said, "and that sweet Spirit comes into the Church." What sweeter Spirit would there be than to know we're talking about Him who died, that sweet Spirit move amongst us. Just like a…He's already moved and we've got a spiritual resurrection. Father, we're looking for help tonight. We're looking for help tonight, Lord, just like request for Mary's sister, Lord, we're looking for help for ourselves too. And here we stand, O God, for You to minister to us. That Spirit come into the room, talking about Him Who loved us and gave Himself for us. Who called us "Mrs. Jesus," in the room tonight. Moving amongst us, touching us. Father, we thank You. We thank You, Lord, that we can discern the Word. We come to that place for the Great Discerner Himself came, laid it out before us. He descended, Seven Mighty Angels of Fire bringing us Word. Bringing us under Divine spiritual loving glorious submission of union. Thank You for Your help. Thank You for Your care. We can't praise You enough, Lord. We can't praise You enough for truth prevails. And You are the Truth, You're the Reality. Lord, let this night be memorable. Every night is we meet in Your Name, every morning. Wasn't there something in Your Word, Lord, that said some men would make a mark concerning that time, and that time would stand, because of that mark. And that mark would be there, Lord, I believe that's this, and we thank You for it. Now, unto the King, eternal, immortal, invisible the only wise God, be all power in honor and glory through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. 'The Lord bless you.'
