The Righteousness of God Brother Vayle preached on
12-4-1966

Now let us bow our head in prayer at this time. Gracious Father again
we thank you for allowing us to come together to hear your Word.

And we know Lord that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every
Word that proceeds out of Your mouth.

Lord we are all so well aware in the human, that many people do not have
the proper metabolism in their body, and they eat Lord, but they still
tired. They eat but they do not grow in flesh and in stature, size
because they, there is something wrong.

So we know Lord this morning without the Spirit of God breaking down
this Word to us and causing this Word to release it's energy and Life
within us, it will just be another time of talking together.

Now we don't want that Lord.	Because already we are nervous and we got a
lot of pressure on us, and we don't want any further.

We want this morning a lifting up, let the Spirit, Lord begin to move
within us and take over our spirits and our thoughts and our minds, that
every spirit be brought into subjection to Your Spirit and every thought
be brought into captivity to Christ, that every Word may be of God.

And that same Spirit moving in each one of us, hand, eye, ear, or the
foot or any part of that Body. Each one Lord motivated by that same
Life.

That same Revelation we'll begin to grow up together in Christ.

That we might present to the world this Body again, the Fullness of God
to the world. We say this Lord because this is what we really want.

We may often think we want something else or things pull us Lord.

But down deep oh, God, there is that cry. So hear our cry this morning

We pray Lord, and we believe in spite of a lack of feeling or anything
else. That You have heard us and we got the petition we desired because
it is according to Your Will.	InJesus Name we count the work done. Amen.

1

Just a couple verses now, in the Book of Romans, Paul speaking in
Chapter One, verses sixteen, and seventeen.

I often complain about my eye sight even with glasses, the trouble is I
don't

even wipe my glasses off. So no wonder I can't see anything. You got
to clean them. Now that's better.

I am like the old, they were in a prayer meeting one day down south and
a brother was saying "Oh, Lord, remove the cobwebs, Oh, Lord remove the
cobwebs"

The little lady next door to him heard him, and said, "Oh, God kill the
spider" And I'm know sometimes that's the way it is. The Lord kill the
spider.

Paul says here, in sixteen and seventeen,

[16] For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it (the Gospel) is
the power of God unto Salvation to everyone that believeth, to the Jew
first and also to the Greek.

[17] For therein (that's in the Gospel) is the Righteousness of God (is)

revealedfrom Faith to Faith as it is written, "The Just shall live by
Faith"

Doctor H. G. Robinson translates it this way,

"For there is in God the Kind of Righteousness revealed'	and that of
course is absolutely true.

Now I do not think there is a more profound or important statement in
the whole Bible. And certainly there isn't anyone that is more revealing
than this because herein we find a tremendous discovery.

For we know the word "Salvation" includes within it, the thoughts of
deliverance and safety and preservation and healing and soundness.

Now that's what the Gospel brings us.	It brings us Salvation. This Good
News of God.

Now how good the News is, we can understand because this Salvation
brings us the deliverance and the safety and the preservation and the
healing and

the soundness. But the power of the Gospel is not exhausted even then
within this mighty thought.	2

For the Complete Plan of Salvation is also within it as declared to us
in the Book of Romans the Eightieth Chapter, (verses) twenty-eight to
thirty.

[28] And we know that all things work togetherfor good to them that love

God, to them who are (the) called according to His purpose.

[29] For whom He did Foreknow, He also did predesti nate, to be
conformed to the Image of His Son, that He might be the First-born among
many brethren.

[30] Moreover whom He did Predestinate, them He also Called, and whom
He Called, them He also Justified, and whom He Justified, them He also
Glorified.

Now this is the Gospel, this is the Good News and the Bible tells us
here according to our that. that the power behind the Gospel or the
power that makes the Gospel effective is the Righteousness of God.

The Gospel is the Good News of God and it is the Righteousness of God

that makes the good news, for without the Righteousness of God there
would be no good news.	There would be no Gospel. There would be no
Message of deliverance and safety and preservation and healing and
soundness.

There would be no ability for God to put into effect His Plan which was
before the Foundation of the world. There would be no move of the
Spirit of God upon man. There could be no Re-Birth. There could be no
hope of a Resurrection unto Eternal Life, without the Righteousness of
God.

Because the Scripture (Roman 1:16) says here,

[16] For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is thepower
of God unto Salvation to everyone who believes"

Because within the Gospel there is the Revelation of the Righteousness
of God. The Righteousness of God is the mainstream or the dynamism of
the Gospel as we have it today.

Just to emphasis it a little bit more.	Let me say it this way. The
Gospel is not the revelation that men may safely escape hell and enter
heaven.

Though that is true. And I am afraid that many, many people just say
that's it and leave it there.

3

The Gospel does not teach men how to live compatibly with each other
and also to live acceptably in the eyes of God, though it is true that
we can and must do it in a manner pleasing to Almighty God.

The Gospel does not teach the Golden Rule, which is a social gospel and
many people endorse it.	It has no power. Now in short the Gospel does
not reveal all the things that our modem and liberal theologians claim
for, and their claims are exactly what has made the Gospel so powerless.

The Gospel's greatest revelation and that, is that which gives us this
power. Is the Revelation of the Righteousness of God and without it,
that is without the Righteousness of God there would be no Gospel.

Actually, no power. Even as it is said over here at Peter, and II Peter
agrees with the Apostle Paul who wrote this beautiful, ah description in
II Peter 1:1 [1] Simon Peter, a servant, and an Apostle of Jesus Christ,
to them that have obtained like precious Faith with us through the
Righteousness of God,

and our Saviour Jesus Christ.

The very Message I preached on the Faith of God being available to us.
That Faith would not be available without the Righteousness of God.

The Righteousness of God gives the Gospel it's power. See

It's the mainstream. So therefore we must know all we can about the
Righteousness of God, and then pray that the Spirit of God will make it
as real as it ought to be in order to accomplish it's dynamic purpose
within this Word structure. Which we see in the Word and have heard
many, many preachers, preach, and even ourselves thought it out and
studied it.

Now to begin on this Subject, let us consider the Righteousness of God.
And that's what I did. I have in my disposal some very, very fine
books.

Imported that is the ah, in German, they were brought to America by
Quibble and then they were translated by Bromley, I believe and
different great authorities. And I was so pleased to get my hands on
these books.

And it just so happens that I have the first three volumes, and one
volume comes off each year. They are very expensive. They run any where
from

$18.50 to $22.50, but you know my nature.

4

I always look around for someone to get it for me wholesale, which I
did, and I got this great big thick volume, and I said, ''Now this will
give me an answer"

I was so pleased, I waded through about 32 pages. You know what I found
out. I found out that they were talking about the word "righteousness "
as taken from the Classics in the Greek and from Mythology. And I said,
"Hold it they need a revelation worse than I do" Because how in the
world can you find out about the Righteousness of God from Mythology and
from Classics, and from a study which is simply based upon past history
or the minds of a philosopher or of an author. See?

They just done the same thing that as the Neely translation. They
brought

in the poets and the authors and said, "Doctor this up for the Pope and
get it"

Well when I realized that, I did the thing I should have done in the
first place. I went right to the Bible. Because the Bible teaches us
according to

I Samuel 3:21 "That the Lord appeared to Samuel in Shiloh"

And the Word, the Scripture says, ''for the God revealed Himself to
Samuel in Shiloh by the Word of the Lord"

And do you know that there are at least about fifty direct, fifty least,
more actually direct allusion to the Righteousness of God in the Old
Testament and literally hundreds or more through out the Scriptures.

Listen to Psalms 7:17 and as we listen get this point. David said, [17]
I will praise the Lord according to His Righteousness "

Lets stop right here and ask the question. "Has anybody ever really in
his life ever praised God according to His Righteousness?"

Do you know how we praise God? We say,

"Oh God I thank you that this day, I have been able to live a little
better, hallelujah"

"Lord, I thank you that I have had some wonderful blessing, bless God"

Now that is good. That's fine. But who has ever praised God according
to His Righteousness?

5

Now if we got the same Spirit David had, there is got to be something
wrong with us, that we're not praising God according to His
Righteousness .

And I hope after this Message we begin to do just that very thing.

Because It says, David realized that if he was going to have something
to be happy about. If he was going to have something to be secure in.

If he was going to have something to give deliverance and healing and
soundness. Itwould be, it hast to be something that was of God.

And he said, "/ will praise the Lord according to His Righteousness "

You know something folks, the majority of us has never learned to praise
God and worship Him according to Spirit and Truth.

The majority of us worship God like the heathen, we appease Him. Well,
let's see, says, he said me, "Well, bless God I don't feel to bad"

Now this is physiologically, but it is a real teaching.	I am not against
this teaching. You understand,

But remember, what a man does is searched by God, Who searches the reins
of our heart. Though he says, "I read the Bible thirty minutes ago,
hallelujah.

I figured out a way to pray too. I pray 30 minutes. It sure made me feel
good, and I went out and witnessed, bless God"

You know something, you can be nothing better than a heathen doing that
very thing. As Brother Branham preached on

"Doing God a Service Outside of the Will of God"

We can be just as heathenistic in our worship outside the Spirit.

(St. John 4:24) "For they that worship God, worship Him in Spirit and
Truth " And we don't appease God.

But most of our worship is, and most everything we do is trying to
appease a God, Who doesn't need appeasing. I will show you that in a
few minutes.

If anybody, would have needed to appease God, David would have needed to
be that man. But he said, "/ will worship the Lord according to His
Righteousness"

6

Again he said in Psalms 24:5

[5] He shall receive the blessingfrom the Lord, and righteousness from
the God of his salvation"

It says right here the same Spirit in David was the Spirit in Paul
because Paul said, "The Righteousness of God is the basis of our
salvation"

And Salvation is what David was talking about. He said,

"Heshall receive the blessingfrom the Lord, and righteousnessfrom

the God of his salvation" Righteousness and Salvation go hand in hand. I
will show you that in a few minutes.

Again in Psalms 31:1

[1]	In Thee, 0 Lord, do I put my trust, let me never be ashamed, deliver
me in Thy Righteousness

And Salvation comes from the Righteousness of God. He (God) gives us
deliverance and David knew it!	And he said, "Deliver me in Thy
Righteousness "

We are all the time, saying, "Haven't I been a pretty good fellow,
Lord?" You can look down with a certain amount of pleasure now, and say
do something for me. Exactly right and exactly wrong.

Again in Psalms 71:2

[2] Deliver me in Thy Righteousness, and cause me to escape

Isn't that was salvation is? Deliverance! Huh, it says right here
"deliver me" How? "In Thy Righteousness. "

Now Lord see me, look at me, God, see I am a pretty good specimen, do
something, and God stands back and won't do one thing.

Because we are trying to match our righteousness against His.

I told you the other night, when God said, in His Word, "Have the Faith
of God" and when you have it, you can stand back and say, "Mountain be
removed and not doubt inyour hearf'	7

And will say not one thing contrary. Now, you can't do that on your
own, that is man trying to approximate the face of God.

Only the face of God can stand back and say, "Mountain be movecf ' and
know with a 100% assurance it is going to be done.

Only God's face can do that but we think we will approximate it.

We think we will work ours up. We think, it takes ourselves and say,
"Oh, Lord, look at the job, I have done"

And God says, "Stand back" Don't you dare say something.

Now we are guilty my brother, my sister, of trying to present our own
righteousness before God, and say, "Now Lord see, me" You can't even
say, "Lord see what I have done with yours"

See, remember the time, as I keep telling you about that, time Izhar,
and Korah rose up against the prophet of God (Moses).

Remember they took the golden censors and God destroyed the men but
saved the censors.

You don't even do with what God has given you, my brother, my sister, to
serve God, except God's Word is in you, and you abide by it. You follow
the point? You don't present our righteousness.

David understood this and in Psalms 7:15, 16

[15] My mouth shall showforth Thy Righteousness all day long'

How did he do it?	By talking about it, because it is not in man to show
forth the Righteousness of God by simply talking.

He said, "Hecannot do if'	Again he said, "Jmake mention o/ Thy
Righteousness, even Thine only"

Huh, no use looking at each other and criticizing each other.
Commending, "Isn't he is a fine fella" Oh, listen, my brother, my
sister, "Abraham had where of to glory" He might have before God.

8

David understood that,

"ThyRighteousness only, shall I talk about"

See and again in Isaiah 41:10

[10] "Iwill uphold Thee with the Right hand (Power) of My Righteousness
"

And in Isaiah 46:13

[13] "I bring near My Righteousness. It shall not befar off, and

My Salvation shall not tarry" See, Salvation is based upon
Righteousness.

Isaiah 51:8

[8] For the moth shall not eat them like a garment, and the worm shall
eat them like wool. But My Righteousness shall beforever and My
Salvation

Notice, Salvation follows Righteousness, just exactly what Paul said,
(Romans 1:1) ''from generation to generation"

And with that, I got a verse, I haven't written down but here in Isaiah
56:I

[1] Thus Saith the Lord, Keep ye Judgment and do Justice for

My Salvation is near to come and My Righteousness to be revealed

See, the Revelation of the Righteousness of God brings salvation, and
brother, sister, I believe that. I am just waiting for the Perfect
Revelation.

Now from these verses you can see, it is absolutely incorrect to say
that

the Word of God indicates a righteousness. You will see what I mean by
that. It indicates a righteousness. There is "Something" out there in
the distance.

"Yes, Brother Vayle, there is something in there, hallelujah." See, now
it doesn't indicate the Righteousness of God.	No sir, it reveals the
Righteousness of God. Not only does it reveal this Righteousness of
God, but it positively associates that Righteousness of God with man,
not all men. But some men for the Scripture says, "The Secret belongs
unto our God"

But those things that are revealed unto us, belong unto us and to our
children, that we may do all the works of the Law.

9

What men are associated with the Righteousness of God? Isaiah 54:17
says, [17] This is the heritage of the saints of the Lord, and their
Righteousness, shall be of Me,

The saints of the Most High God, His servants. We are, we have the
Righteousness of God.

Now this Gospel has absolutely no power to deliver a single commitment
without the Righteousness of God. Because the Righteousness of God, is
the bases of our Salvation. The Gospel is dead without it.

There is absolutely no hope in this Life, nor any hope in the Life to
come without the Righteousness of God.

God does not actually have one Eternal thing for us, apart from His
Righteousness transmitted to us. It is the Righteousness of God or
perish.

Now let us go a little bit further.	See, how, one obtains this
Righteousness. In the Book of Romans 3:22 says,

[22] Even the Righteousness of God which is by the Faith of Jesus Christ
unto all and upon all, who believe, for there is no difference

Every single Elect child of God has the Righteousness of God imparted to
them.	Why do I know that, because the Bible says (Acts 13:48)

"That as many as where ordained to Eternal Life believed "

You cannot have the Faith of Jesus Christ Christ unless you are ordained
to Eternal Life. See, and so therefore those who are Elected.

I don't care care whether butcher, baker, or candlestick maker. I don't
care what you are, race, color, nationality. I don't care because the
Scripture says, "There is no difference "

The Righteousness of God revealed is committed to the positive end and
enclosing in, every single, ordained, elect child of God. See, "There is
no difference" "Whosoever let him come"

Who will come only those who God has called, see.

10

Now since this Righteousness of God is freely given to all. We might
say, "Why are some men not receiving it?"

Because there is no "Revelation" of the Spirit of God, which shows them
that they are sinners.

God has a "Way" of escape which is by His Own Sacrifice which brings the
Righteousness of Almighty God.

Now if, here's the thing when people do not have the revelation. What do
people then begin to do?

Now this is, I am bringing this in because I want you to see the danger
of the Elect children of God, who do not have a revelation concerning
the Righteousness of God. What do they begin to do?

They do exactly what the Jews did and tum to the Book of Romans 10:1,
and we will read, now let's read verse one togther.

[l] Brethren my heart's desire and prayer to Godfor Israel is that,
they might be saved

But they can't be saved except through the power of the Gospel, and What
is the power of the Gospel?	The Righteousness of God.

Now, listen (Romans 10:2, 3)

[2] For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not
according to Knowledge Revelation.

[3] For they being ignorant of God's Righteousness and going about to
establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto
the Righteousness of God

The Elect can be in danger right here, my brother, my sister, absolutely
be in danger. Just like the Jews.

Now what happens when we do not submit ourselves to the Righteousness of
God?	But hold up to God, what we feel is the proper thing to hold up in
the light of holiness.	What do you think about these folks say,

"I don't wear a tie, that makes me righteousness" My God, I don't chew
gum and it makes me very holy" I didn't even say goodness, my....

11

What happened? Isaiah 64:6

[6] But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are
asfilthy rags, and we do allfade as a leaf and our integrity, like the
wind, has taken us away

In spite of everything we might think to do, our own iniquities will
still carry us away. I will not have one thing to present before God.

David, Daniel understood this for in the Book of Daniel, Daniel 9:7

He in repentance, lifted up his voice, and said, "0Lord, Righteousness
belongeth unto Thee"

Yeah, now yours don't every one of us is guilty. Born is sin, shaped in
iniquity. As Brother Branham said, "Comes to the world speaking lies"
See. All our, Lord's Righteousness,

(Daniel 9:7) "O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto Thee, but unto us
confusion offaces to this day, the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants
of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that arefar off,
through all the countries whether Thou hast driven them, because of
their trespasses

that they have trespassed against Thee"

Man cannot produce one righteousness thing. Now that is going to be a
shock but it's the Truth.

You say, "Now, Brother Vayle, "I am as good as......" Yeah, you ought to
be. He is good to you. The fact that you are born is sin, doesn't mean
you should go out on a rampage. See?

You can't produce any Righteousness. The Bible said, "They are as
filthy rags" Infact the Bible said, "All men are condemned to death"
because they cannot produce the Righteousness that is satisfactory to
God.

The Bible said, in Romans 3:11, 12

[11] As it is written (Psalms 14:1-3) There is none, Righteous, no not
one"

N-0-N-E not even a half of one. "There is none that understandeth"

No, Revelation. "There is none that seeketh after God''

[12] They are All, A-L-L, gone out of the Way"

The word "gone" means "to abandoned" They have abandoned the Word. They
are together become rotten fruit. 12

Rotten Fruit, that word unprofitable (useless) is rotten fruit. Now
what can you make out of rotten fruit? D Nothing.	Doesn't even make
good fertilizer. All it is good for is to draw fruit flies and who needs
fruit flies? That's All we are this morning.	"There is none that doeth
good "

We are rotten fruit. All it attracts is flies, I am speaking naturally.

"There is none that doeth good "	We are rotten fruit.

"There is none" N-0-N-E, not even a half of one, "None that doeth good,
no not one " And in (Romans 3:23) it says,

[23] "Allhave sinned andfallen short of the Glory of Gocf '

Now tum, to Acts 17:31, read here, in Acts 17:31

[17]	Because He hath, God has appointed a day, in the which He will
Judge the world in Righteousness, by that "Man" Whom He ordained
whereof, He hath given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised
Himfrom the dead

Every single man is going to have to come up in the resurrection and
stand in Judgment. What Judgment?

You say, "Well, Brother Branham, taught us we wouldn't be judged"

Youjust hold on. We will bring that out. He is going to have to stand
and fight to be standing here, and every man will stand before Him to
see if He fits in that Image of Righteous.

Now what are you going to offer God?	That Standard on that day, is the
Righteousness of God, Jesus Christ, see He is going to Judge All.

I want you to think about it. "Brother Vayle you are going to shake me
lose.......amem.	You are going to make me abandon all hope, I have in
myself. I say, "Amen, that's what I want, to be without hope. You can do
nothing" "You are going to break every strong precept that I have got"
Amen! "Without Me, (Christ) we can do nothing"	It is the hardest
Revelation there is.

Old Ralph Palmer said, "A young preacher came in and said, "Ralph you
are......." Ralph said, "You didn't understand" He said, "Amen. I am
glad to do it".....How can you be so happy? I feel terrible.

13

Now the Righteousness of God according to Romans 3:25, 26,

[25]	Whom God hath setforth to be thepropitiation through Faith in His
Blood, to declare the Righteousness for the remission of sins that are
past, through theforbearance of God. To declare at this time, His
Righteousness"

Yet how many times, have you even heard that?	Now we hear about, "I am
going to get saved" Yeah, that's fine. "How you become a better man"
That's good. "How you are going to escape hell" That's wonderful.

"How you can go to heaven" That's marvelous. But who has been talking
about the Righteousness of God? Because Paul said,

[26] To declare the Righteousness of God, that God might be Just and the
Justifier of him that believes in Jesus Christ".............

I submit to you, we cannot possibly preach the Whole Gospel without
preaching the Righteousness of God in the most positive manner.

You will notice here that the Righteousness of God is declared, that is
the First Step. The Righteousness of God is declared but not only is it
declared but it is manifested.

Romans 3:21 "Butnow the Righteousness of God without the Law"

Any Law. Now the FDA, won't like this, and a lot of folks, like the
Armenians (Legalists) But this Law is not the Ten Commandments, or the
Ordinances, neither the Moral law, or the Ceremonial law.

It says, "TheRighteousness of God without any Law"	Period!

"IsManifested being witnessed by the Law and Prophets"

Being said in the Bible it is going to happen that away.	See, it is
declared!

It is manifested. What is the third thing?	It has got to be imparted.

Philippians 3:9 "And beingfound in Him (Christ) not having my own
righteousness, which is of the Law, but that which is through by the
Faith of Christ, the Righteousness which is of by the Faith God''

Notice this, "And befound in Him, not having mine own righteousness,
which is by the Law"	14

"But that which is through the Faith of Christ, the Righteousness which
is of God, by Faith" Or, The Faith of Jesus Christ. It is imparted.

God now, declares, manifests, and gives His Own Righteousness. Now upon
what grounds do we receive it?

We have already talked about, "It is by the Faith of the Lord Jesus
Christ" (Ephesians 2:8, 9)	"By Grace are we saved through Faith, that
not of yourselves, it is the Gift of God, not of works lest any man
should boast"

And reading once more in the Book of Romans 3:21-22,

[21] But the Righteousness of God without the Law, is manifested being
witnessed by the Law andprophets, even the Righteousness of God

What does the Gospel declare? The Righteousness of God. How does it
come? "(Which is) "Bythe Faith of Jesus Christ"

"UponAll and unto to All and upon all of them that believe" Who
believes?

The Elect, Ordained of God. See, the Faith of God and the Righteousness
of God has both been given to us by Revelation.

Now exactly, What is this Righteousness of God? Exactly, What is it?

I Corinthians 1:30

[30] "Butof Him (God) are you in Christ Jesus" The word "IN" always
means "in union with"	Now I want you to pay attention, and get this
carefully. For years I use to be puzzled and wonder. What does it mean
to be in Christ?	I couldn't figure. One man said, "What is more
important?

"For you to be in Christ or Christ to be in you"

The fact of the matter is, we don't ....words about a thing like that.
But, what does it mean to be in Christ?	I found out by a word study.

It means to be "in union with" Christ. "In union with Christ" is
Communion. A man takes two tumblers of water and pours them both into
one cistern.

"Inunion with Christ"	See, I read it again.

"But of Him, are you" in union with Christ Jesus, Who of God is made
to us, Wisdom and Righteousness and Sanctification and Redemption "

[31] That according as it is written, he that glorieth, let him glory in
the Lord"	15

It doesn't say one thing bout the things, that you and I have done. It
is God doing it in us. It says, "Letthem glory in the Lord....." See.

Now we are going a step further, in Jeremiah 23:6, this is what it says,
and [6] "This is His Name, the Name of Jesus, whereby He shall be
called,

The Lord, not His Righteousness, but the Lord "Our"Righteousness " God
is our Righteousness.

See, now in Psalms 98:2 you find the very same thing. David said,

[2] "The Lord has made known His Salvation, His Righteousness hath He

(God) openly shewed in the sight of thepeople" the heathen.

His is our Salvation, when we see, that we are the Righteousness, we see
Christ, the Righteous One of God showed the heathen and this Righteous
One became their Righteousness, see. Imparted.

Now, what are the results of this in impartation?	What are the results?

Of this impartation, we turn to II Corinthians 5:21, and here is what it
says, [21] For God has made Jesus, Who knew no sin, to become sinfor us,

that we might be made the Righteousness of God with by our union with
Him

Now listen, it didn't say Jesus become sinful. It says He (Jesus)
became sin. You know what the word "Sin" is also called "Sin Offering"
because the Sin and the Sin Offering is the same thing. Christ became
our Sin Offering. He (Christ) became sin for us. See.

That we might be dressed up and look pretty? That we might be given
power to do good works? No sir. That we might be given something to look
a little better and pleasing to God? And a foundation, whereby we can
boast.

No sir, It says that, "He became sin, that we might become the
Righteousness of God" It doesn't say that we become Righteous. Now,
watch your language.	It doesn't say we become Righteous. It says we
become

"The Righteousness of God"

Now if we were willing to accept this morning that, Jesus become sin for
us, and will not humble our hearts and our minds to graciously receive
the fact that,	16

Without arguing, without fussing, without intimidating yourself or
anybody else.	But graciously accept that, we are the Righteousness of
God, there is something wrong with.......Because the human mind doesn't
want, it wants to, brag and say.....Iwish it was true, but I wonder.

Do you recall what I read in Jeremiah 23:6 and,

[6] This is His Name whereby He shall be called, the Righteousness of
God

He (God) has made Him (Christ) to be sin for us, that He (Christ) by
being made sin, we could be made His Righteousness.

Inother words, as it was He (Christ) took our place, we not we, I am
just trying to get a picture now........We take His place.

He (Christ) took our sins, we took His Righteousness. He (Christ) became
us, upon Calvary, sin.

We by accepting, became His Righteousness, the Righteousness of God. Now
that Righteousness of God, must be right where? Right within the
individual. God places that Righteousness. See?

Now, what shall we expect from this Righteousness of God, imputed?

What shall be the outworking, since we have been became the
Righteousness of God, and this was done by Jesus Christ to Himself as
our righteousness.

God, is our Righteousness. See, What should we expect? Turn to Romans
5:1

[1] "Now therefore being Justified, by Faith"

The word "Justified" is exactly the same word in the realm of
righteousness. Because "Justified" means to be "declared righteousness"

Remember there is a declaration of righteousness.	God declared it.

You can't be declared righteous until you got Christ, and when you got
Him (Christ) you are declared as Righteous as God Himself.

So the Scripture says, "Therefore having being declared righteous, we
have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ "

Right a way, the human mind says, "Oh, I got peace with God" No sir, it
is not that way in the Bible. This is not the peace of God in your
heart. This is God being at peace with you.	17

See? Why? Because you did not ask Jesus to die. You didn't say,

"Oh, hey, God is angry with us. Oh let us just get together now, and we
will present somebody to die, and He (God) won't be mad anymore"

No, no, God said, "Look the world is in sin and I cannot look upon sin,
and I love them. Those are my children out there. They were always not
before My Mind. They were in My Mind. Because you were in His Mind,

you were that "Thought" unexpressed, way back there before the
foundation of the world.	He (God) said, "I have got to do something,
now, because

I cannot look upon sin" So, What does He (God) do?	He (God) becomes the
Sacrifice. He becomes our Righteousness.

Now that He (God) has become our Righteousness.	He cannot be angry with
us, see.

Because this is the story of the King, whose subjects were in rebellion
to him, and now the rebellion is over, and He (God) says, "I AM not mad
anymore"

You know something, God can never be angry with His children ever again.

(You say) "God is mad at me" Well, that is your idea, not God's.

The preachers says, "God's got authority, that is the preacher's idea,
not the Bible.	Because the Bible says, "Oncewe have been declared
Righteous" Once we have the Righteousness of God which is Jesus Christ,
God is no longer angry and I'll prove it.

Last night in the Hebrews 12:9, have you forgotten. Let's go back to
Hebrews 12, and I will show it to you. The Scripture says, here
concerning you and I in training our children. It says here that in
verses 9, 10.

[9] Furthermore, we have hadfathers of ourflesh which correct us and

we gave them reverence, shall we not much rather be in subjection unto
the Father of spirits and live?

[10] For they verilyfor afew days chastened us after their ownpleasure

Inother words, they got mad, they whacked us. But God doesn't do that.

He (God) always does it for our profit.	How many times have you
corrected you children for their profit? Most of the time, we whack them
because

we are mad.	18

Human reaction is not God's reaction. God can never lift an angry
finger against any one of His children.

The most that, He will do, to the disobedient, if you persist and
persist in is finally bring sickness, upon you, and if that don't cure,
where you don't repent.	Then call the elders and make everything right.

Then God in His Love and Mercy, to save you further trouble will take
you in death. That's exactly what the Scripture says. It is not God
punishing you.

It is not God beating you. It is God molding a saint, and you can never
mold anybody under anger, because anger destroys. God is not mad at us.

(You say,) "Brother Vayle, listen to David" Was God mad at David?

He (God) sent him (David) a little parable, and said, "There was a man
and that man did a terrible thing. He went down, and he had a great big
bunch of sheep. Oh he was rich, and he saw one little ewe lamb, that
another man had and he said, "I want it"

And David said, "I'll kill the man. I'll chase him with the army. I'll
bring him down myself. I'll take care of him. Now what did David do in
his anger?

He, all he could do was to bring out his own rottenness and couldn't be
full of Love. It didn't accomplish anything.

Nathan said, "Thou art that man" Was God mad at David? If He (God) was
mad at David, He would have done terrible things as it was.

He (God) chasten David, He said, "The day will come, that you'll have to
pay for what you have chose" But God was not an angry God.

God is not an angry God, except with the wicked. The reprobates, which
is an anger position, ours is an angry.......and

Election, God is not angry because the Scripture says here,

"That He (God) does itfor our profit, that we may be made partakers of
His Holiness"

Not even my brother, my sister, we just remind God as it should we're
kids to be slapped around and say, "I am going to be a good boy because
I got such a beating the last time. He will not beat me again this time"

19

For could use that term of carnality, I have done it many times. But
God is never angry. Why?	Because the Wrath was poured out on Christ.

Now we have become the Righteousness of God. How can God ever be angry
when we have been declared His Righteousness?

The very thing that would separate us. The very thing that would
destroy us

is not only breeched, because we have gone from innocence right into
Righteousness.

Because Adam was not righteous, he was innocent. Righteousness belongs
unto God, and no one else. Now, let us look at the Book of Isaiah, and
bring you out, it brings out a little bit clearer now, in Isaiah 32:17,
Isaiah 32:17 (17] And the work of Righteousness shall be Peace, and the
effect of Righteousness quietness and assurance for ever

What is the work of Righteousness, that God did? Peace!	God's at peace
with His Elect. And what is it going to work in us?

It is going to work, quietness and assurance. You know that's time.

Why is the people so upset all the time? Because they are so
dissatisfied with their own standard that they are living under. They
are dissatisfied because they know that, they are not living up to the
Graces and Possibility in God.

And when they get that attitude. Then they get their eyes off what
Jesus Christ is to them. The Righteousness of God, which they
themselves have become by union with Him. Now you know that's the
Truth.

Now look, you can't have both things working at the same time. Because
either you are going to believe God, and receive the Revelation, or, we
are going to go our own way and we are going to pay the price for it.

It either has got to be His (God's) Righteousness and have it, and see
it, or we are going to keep on living without peace.

And there is little peace in the world today, because men are always
trying to say, "Oh let me work it out" "Let me perform"

20

When God said, "This is something you can't produce. I produced It"
See. I told you we worship God, by appeasing. See, "Oh, God......

But that is not it. "Well, I just know He's not that way. I am going to
do something"	Well, that is nice, but that is not the answer. See.

Because you cannot produce it. Righteousness is already produced . See.
And as God was the reciprocal of His Own Righteousness, now man has
become the reciprocal of God's Righteousness, see.

Now let us look at the outworking of this a little more. Turn to Romans
8:33, 34, now this sermon is particularly good for us today,

because you will recall that when Brother Branham by the Spirit of God,
opened the Seals. What did he preach on almost incessantly, concerning
the Bride? The Bleach of the Blood of Christ, has made her what?
Perfect.

Huh, now we were talking about that this morning.

Now in Romans 8:33, 34,

[33] Whoshall lay anything to the charge of God's Elect?

Now, that's a good question. Who is going to do it? The Scripture says,
"Who art thou, oh man, tojudge another man's servant?	Unto his own
master he standeth orfalleth "

Now we reserve the right to ourselves, not only to judge others, we
judge ourselves. The Bible said, "Whoare you, oh man?"

Notice, "Who are you, oh man?" Who are you, to lay a charge to God's
Elect?	Now if you don't understand this. It means this.

You caught somebody doing something wrong. I am a store keeper. I see
a fellow taking a chocolate bar off my shelve.

Better yet, I see him take a $20.00 dollar bill out of my till, and I
say,

"I caught you stealing"	I call the police and I arrest you, and I have
you arrested and taken to court. And I say, "Judge this man, this man
stole my

$20.00, I had laid aside.

21

And the Bible said, (Romans 8:33) "Who can lay the charge against God's
Elect? It is God, Who Justifies"	See.

How in the world can God, lay a charge against His Own Righteousness?

See, oh, let it sink in. You got ajob getting it? Just think about me.

I study it out and still don't get it. But I believe it, the best I can
until it gets down here. Let's take our time we got all day. Dinner,
who cares, I had a good breakfast. If you didn't, I am sorry for you.

Sit awhile and think awhile, didn't Brother Branham say he would like to
come to your home and pull off his shoes and sort of put his feet on
the......., there, and maybe look in the refrigerator.	We will open the
refrigerator this morning.

"Whoshall lay a charge to God's Elect?"	God has already declared him
Righteousness, the Righteousness of God, that it be God.

Then it would be God charging Himself.	See. Now, (Romans 8:34)

Who is He, that condemneth? It is Christ that died. Yeah, rather that
is rzsen.	Who even is at the Right hand of God, Who also maketh
intercession for us

Now listen, remember what Brother Branham said, about the man who got in
trouble. He said, "You know what I would do if my life depend on it.

I get the best lawyer and make sure he knew the Judge" Right, so would
I.

Now let's watch this, I am a lawyer. Now, I am coming to court. I said,
"Judge, I caught that man doing that"

And the man gets a lawyer, and the lawyer goes before the Judge.	Now
this fellows lawyer, now that is being accused. He gets up, and he
says,

"Judge, I want to change it. When this man came in, I agreed to take his
case. But in the mean time, Judge, I have had a change of heart.

Judge, I have defended a lot of criminals in my time, but this fellow is
the biggest rascal, I have ever seen.

And Judge, do you and me and him a favor and the world a favor if you
would go and put him in prison.

22

The Judge would say, "Hold it. You were hired to defend this fellow.
I'll take to the Law association, you will lose your papers. We will
see that you get put out and we will get another man, who does the job.

Now, listen, Jesus Christ is our intercessor, how can He be our accuser?
Huh

"Who is He that condemneth? It is God, that Justifieth"

This Christ that died, and Paul said, "Look it is not just the work, He
(Jesus) accomplished upon Calvary, when He became sin for us, that we
become

the Righteousness of God"

But listen, He is already our intercessor. You can't change God, Who
doesn't change, into a Condemner. Now can you?	You know you can't do it.

Now turn to Psalms 35, you really don't need to get into all these, but
I said,

"It would be good for us" Psalms 35:24,

This is what the prophet knew by experience and by a revelation. I am
trying to hammer this thing out by both. But God has got to do it for
me.

"Judge, me 0Lord, My God according to Thy Righteousness" See. Psalms
35:24 David said,

[24] Judge me, Oh Lord, My God according to Thy Righteousness, and let
him not rejoice over me

See, David understood, the Righteousness of God, he said, "Lord, if you
judge me on mine, I am lost"

Because he knew that he would have to stand on Judgment day, when Christ
came down and liberated them. Only those who could stand in His Image,
He brought forth out of the grave. But it was because of the
Righteousness of God. You have nothing to do with it.	See

Now tum to Romans 4. This is the Book, I love. You can see why. Let us
read verses 1 through 8,

[1] What shall we say then, that Abraham aspertaining to theflesh

Genealogy, the works of the flesh, and so on hath done?

[2] So ifAbraham was Justified by works, he hath whereof to glory, but
not before God.

23

See, what I said a little while ago, "Works"

"Lord, you have given me some power. I am going to do some good things.
I am going to win the world for you. I am going turn the world upside
down. I am going to give a million dollars. I do a lot, to do a lot of
things"

And God said, "Well Abraham, you been so good around down there, and you
got a lot to glory off. But so do I, but don't try to hand it to Me"

Now there is a lot of us doing a lot of good. See, we go to Church, go
to visit the poor, and the sick and that's good, and mind you we must do
it.

But don't try to hand it to God.	Just thank God, that you are able to do
by the Grace, He (God) gave you.

Abraham had whereof to glory. Certainly, certainly, but he had something
whereof not to glory. God said, "Abraham, you need to leave

your kinfolk and everybody"

Abraham said, "Well, that's a good idea, my nephew, Lot out here, poor
little boy, he is an orphan boy. Of course Lot got into hot water, and
he (Abraham) went and got him out of hot water.

Now Abraham did a lot of good things and now, nobody denies it, but
don't dare glory before God. See, so what saith the Scriptures?

What does the Bible say? (Romans 4:3-5)

[3] Abraham believed God and it was countedfor himfor Righteousness.
[4] Now to him that worketh, is the reward is not reckoned of Grace,
freely given, but of debt.

[5] But to him that worketh not, doesn't do one single solitary thing,
either by himself or with God, but believeth on Him (God) that
Justifieth the ungodly, his Faith is counted for Righteousness.

[6] Even as David also describeth the Blessedness of the man, unto whom

the Lord imputeth Righteousness without works.

[7] Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities areforgiven, and whose
sins are covered.

[8] Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

It doesn't say, he didn't sin. It says, That God doesn't impute as sin.
Is that right? Exactly right, the Scripture.	24

That is what the Bible said, "It didn't say David did not sin"	David
did sin, but David said, "Thank you God, because you won't impute it"

You know what is wrong with us? I told you the other night. God in His
Divine Sovereignty had to let Wesley become the Church Age Messenger and
bring to us the Armenian or "Falling away doctrine"which itself,

is what blossomed into this Age, which is "the works of man"

"Oh, we are rich and increased with goods" Don't mean a thing. Got
this, got that, not looking for anything more. Got this, got that.

The Bible said, (Revelation 3:17) "In spite of all these things, you are
naked, miserable, wretched, and blind, and haven't got the Holy Ghost
though you talk about it" And you got nothing, though you boast about
it.

And if it weren't for that Age (Wesley's Age) coming into this Age of
man's rights. Laodicea means "man's rights" Man saying, "Look at me. I
want my rights. I want to come to God" Don't you dare preacher, up there

"Tell me a man's got to be called.	All you got to do, is say, "I'll come
and He will come" Yeah, is that so?

There was a man did the same thing once didn't he? He got in the way,
and a man come, he didn't have a Wedding Garment. How did he get in?

Well, I will just come in through the front, he said.

Certainly, don't stand up against God. It is the Word that counts, and
David said that, "Man is blessed to whom the Lord will not impute sin"

Because He (God) cannot. Why? Because God cannot lie. God cannot
change, thank God, He can't. I know we would like to change Him at
times, but thank God, He cannot change.

Watch now, according to see what David had in mind in the Book of Psalms
the 51st Chapter and I think it is in verse 14.

Psalms 51:14, we could read the whole Book but it is not necessary.

[14] Deliver mefrom blood gu,iltiness, 0 God, Thou God, of my salvation,
and my tongu,e shall sing aloud of Thy Righteousness.	See.

25

You know what? I like that, because one day, you and I will be
standing in the same boat, as David. We are going to stand. The Bible
said,

"Hethat is Righteousness, be righteous still. He that isfilthy, befilthy
still "

One day, we are going to have to be ready for that Judgment call. Then
it is His Righteousness ........... and we will be glad and say,

"Lord impute unto me, Thy Righteousness, thank you Lord for not imputing
sin" Let us thank God, Salvation is of the Lord.

In the mean time, sometimes, you would only be happy to think, we are
being a big part of it. See. NO, we can't. How? Romans 5:15-21, this
is in the outworking of this Righteousness.

[15]	For not as the offence,so also is the Free Gift

How big was the first o:ffence?	Every murder, every lie, every war,
every robbery, every sin, you name it, come out of that one major sin.
Right? It says,

[15]	But not as the offence, so also is the Free Gift.

See. If sin abound, Grace does much more abound. See. Never think in the
terms of the grossness or darkness of sin. Think in the terms of the
Free Gift of Righteousness by Jesus Christ. See.

[15] If though the offence of one, we many be dead, Didn't we all die?
The many of all died certainly, "Asin Adam all died"

"So in Christ" that same bunch "camealive" Hallelujah, because no son of

Adam will perish. Why? Because he was the First Adam, and now we have
had the Second (Adam) He (Adam) was the First, now, Jesus is the
Second. They died in Adam, but they all come alive in Him (Christ) but
not one serpent seed.	Never have, never will. See,

[15]	Now for yet through the offence of one, many be dead, much more the
Grace of God, the Gift of Grace which is by One Man, Jesus Christ hath
abounded unto the many.

Not to All, the world, so that serpent can come in. No, sir, there is
no restoration for Satan. There is no restoration for the Beast crowd.
No, sir, the Lake of fire, what it is and don't ever believe otherwise.

That is exactly where God cast the old Antichrist. Who's heart was the
heart of a beast.	26

Who goes right back to the animalistic, he was in, the state he was in
the garden of Eden.	That's right. You know that's the Truth.

The Bible said so (Romans 5:16-21)

[16] And not as it was, by one that sinned, so is the Gift. For Judgment
was by one to condemnation	Notice what Adam did condemned us.

But the Free Gift, is of many offences the declaration of Righteousness.

"Our many o,r.re, nces........"

In Righteousness, that's right. Adam did this.	Now listen, [17] For if
by one man's offence death reigns

It is reigning? Well come on is it reigning. Well, then if death is
reigning.

Let us look on the other side of the ledger.

[17] Jf by one man's offence death reigns by one, much more

Notice "Much more" "Much more" God's not just going to get you out of
the grave. NO, this is a "Much more" Gospel. Much more they which
receive abundance of Grace and of Life and Grace and of the Gift of
Righteousness, shall reign in Life by One Christ Jesus.

Notice this, as people once lived violently in sin, now much more, they
live

inthe Freedom of Righteousness of Christ.

[18]	Now, therefore as by the offence of one, Judgment, came upon all
men through condemnation.	That's right.

[18] Even so, by the Righteousness of One, the Free Gift, came upon all
men, unto Justification of Life.

[19] Now, for if by One, as by one man's disobedience, the many were
made sinners, So, by the obedience of One shall the many be made
Righteous.

As they were sinners and therefore were a source of sin, these same
people are made Righteous and therefore a source of Righteous. See.

[20] Moreover the Law entered that the offence might abound, for where

sin abound, Grace did much more abound

[21] That as sin has reigned unto death, even so might Grace reign
through Righteousness unto Eternal Life by Jesus Christ our Lord

27

What is he (Paul) trying to tell us?	He is trying to tell us, here that
the Revelation of the Righteousness of God, that gives us power in this
Life, over sin and puts us in obedience unto Christ.

What we needed to know, reading in (Romans) the Sixth Chapter verses
Fourteen through Twenty-three.

[14]	For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under the
Law, but under Grace

Notice what it says, "Sinshall not have dominion over you" Why? Because
you are not under the Law, but under Grace.

"The Power of sin is death"	The minute the Righteousness of God comes
in

through Jesus Christ,

That's why Paul said, "What such as we? What are you talking about? They
say, "Well, if that is the case let's go out and sin some more"

He said, "What, don't you get the point?	"AsSin once reigned unto death
" That is over. Now with Christ, our Righteousness, we reign over sin.
See.

Like the guy said, awhile ago, "Cats bring forth kittens, dogs bring
forth puppies, horses bring forth colts" And What does a Word believer
bring forth? He brings forth the Word, and the Word has no Lie, in it.

It's the Truth. There is no sin in it. It's Perfection. See.

Now this Righteousness of God is what gives us the power over sin.

We will never become what we want to be in the sense of liberation of
our hearts and minds, or arise to the pinnacle of the Glory of God,

until by the Revelation we see we have become the Righteousness of God.

For it is the Tree that produces the Fruit. Who says, "Oh, Pear tree
bring forth pears, and please don't bring forth apples because I had so
many apples this year. I can't stand any more"

The Pear Tree says, "You must be nuts. What can I bring forth but Pears?
I am a Pear Tree"

28

And this is the whole thing behind the Power of walking in Christ,

to receive the Revelation, that we are the Righteousness of God, is to
causes us to walk above the sin and reign with Christ.

It is not discipline brother, sister, don't let anybody sell you on
that.

The Hindu out discipline you any day and produce more fruit as it were,

and you never think of it.	That's why India, the graveyard of the
missionary.

It is not discipline because that is appeasing God, you don't appease
God. You worship God. See. Worship God, that's Love and Adore, that's
just common decency.

Assurance, you see that's what Righteousness does. But we have been
robbed by the Armenian spirit (Legalism Falling away doctrine)

It is time to get rid of it, through the Revelation of the Spirit of God
that we are the Righteousness of God.

We are not becoming Righteous. We are (Righteous) there is the power,
that's what Paul said,	"Assin has reigned unto death"

Now what is going on again?	What it says in verse fifteen (Romans 6:15)
we can become.

[15] We are not under Law, but under Grace? Godforbid. How canyou
sin?

[16] Know you not, that to whom you yield yourselves to obey, his
servant you are, whether it to sin, unto death, or of obedience unto
righteousness?

Now, listen, what's the heritage of the servants of God? Righteousness
of God which is Christ in them. Who are you under? You are under (that)
You are his servant. See. It's that Revelation, that makes it.

[17] But God be thanked that you were the servants of sin, butyou have
obeyedfrom the heart, thatform of teaching.

What form of teaching? The Gospel that was delivered to you.

29

[18] Being then made Freefrom sin, lock, You are free from sin lock,
stock and barrel.

Now do you see why, the Major theme in Brother Branham's dissertation of
was the Bride is washed in the Bleach of the Blood of Jesus Christ, Who
spilled it (the Blood)	Not a sin in her, and God will not impute sin,
because the Blood of Jesus Christ was perfect not a sin in it, and God
will not impute sin because of that.

You got to get this Revelation because that is what he (Brother Branham)
had and when he had it. I saw it all over his face. But I didn't know
what he had. See.	"Now being madefree from sin " See, He become the
servant of Righteousness. He said,

[19] I speak after the manner of men, to try to teachyou what you are
not getting by the Holy Ghost.

Because I am trying to take every little example I can said, Paul, to
show you.

Now get it! Don't even wait for God's Spirit, to give you a great big
revelation .

Just take it now, and say, "I am the Righteousness of God" and by it,
wait on God and accept it on your heart and mind, and don't shut your
mind because that is resisting the Holy Ghost. Because either we are the
Righteousness of God or we perish.

Now all that I set forth is just a simple part of the Word. We could
say many, many, many, more things about it.

But as I say, the Gospel is the Power of God because the Righteousness
of God is revealed in it, and our powerless today is absolutely based
upon the Fact that we do not understand and have not even accepted
mentally the Fact that we are as righteous as God.	See.

Now let us just look at this and see what Paul had to say about this in
Galatians 2:21

[21] I do notfrustrate the Grace of Godfor if Righteousness comes by the
Law, then Christ is dead in vain.	30

Now, you are locked up in one. "I believe that Christ died"

Do you really believe He died for us?	Now, come on, if you really
believe He died, then the sin question is answered once and for all. We
have become the Righteousness of God. If that doesn't satisfy you, turn
to Galatians 5:4 [4] Christ is become of no effect untoyou, whosoever
ofyou that are Justified by the Law. You havefallen from Grace.
Certainly you have.

If you will accept any other premise from the Fact that Christ is your
Righteousness and you by "Union" with Him are as Righteous as God. You
are fallen from Grace because Grace is a Free Gift, and you are trying
to do something about it.

It is not Christ in you building the House honey. It is Christ building
the House, for you can do nothing without Him.

The premise is not you doing something with Him, the premise is He, then
something good will come forth.

You have fallen from Grace. God hasn't got a thing for you. Christ
isn't effective. Make up your mind.

Now I am going to ask you one question. Is it not true, that the Bible
says, "He that isjoined to the Lord is One Spirit" Is that right? Is
that right? "He that isjoined to the Lord, is One Spirit" That's right.

All right here is the question. "Did you make God's Spirit dirty?" Or,
"Does He (God) make yours His?"

Now if you dirtied up God, then you haven't got God anymore. You see
these questions cannot be academic any longer. We have got to face
reality brother, sister. Because this is really certain, He had
reality.

See, the Jews came to Peter (Acts 3:1-12) and said, "How do you do
this? "

Peter caught it, he said, "Not by any righteousness that we have"

He said, But if you want to know how it was done, it was done by two
things, God gave us. His Faith and His Name" He said, "That's how it was
done.

Don't look on us as though we are holy, wonderful people"

31

NO, that's not it. It is that, He (Christ) has become our Holiness, and
our Righteousness and He (Christ) by our union with Him, we have become
the very Righteousness of Almighty God.

Two men has brought this more clearly than any man I knew. One was a man
I knew personally, and one man, I knew by a book, and Doctor Kenyon
said, "That when he realized by Revelation of the Scripture, that he had
become

the Righteousness of God, nothing could stand before him"

Until that time, he was defeated in his life, to fulfill the will of
God, to cast out devils, to lay hands upon the sick, to see the purposes
of God fulfilled. But the moment that he received the Truth, that he was
the Righteousness of God. Satan could no longer accuse him and no man
could accuse him, and He couldn't accuse himself.

God tried to show me this thing, 30 years ago (1936) I was 22 years of
age. I remember, the exact spot.	I was out there laying on a blanket
reading the Word and thinking about God, mediating.	And I thought about
Him and

I said, "Oh God, I wish that I was clean. I wish that I was this and
that"

And the Voice of Christ said, within my conscience hearing, "Call that
not common or unclean that which God called clean"

God had cleansed me, but my own Armenian spirit, "Oh, but Lord, you
don't understand. You see Lord, I am so brilliant, I know myself.

Oh, God how can you say........."

I know you and You know me. Go ahead big mouth. Everybody has got a
fat mouth that is in here, nobody wants to hear it, the want to talk.

That's the Laodiceans Age, you say, you say.

Nobody heard the knocking at the door. Nobody heard the prophet except
one or two. Because they wanted a miracle. I am not against miracles.

But if you want to constantly produce it. You want to produce a constant
miracle is to receive Revelation. You know Christ, within you brother,
sister. So I said, "Well, Lord you don't understand" Ever since that
time, I have been struggling.	32

It is a Revelation my brother, my sister.

You know the story, is on tape were Brother Branham said, in Topeaka,
Kansas. The Church fell on that little boy, his spline was ruptured, and
liver" And they came to say, Brother Branham, the man is just about dead
will you go

and pray for him?

Isn't something like the Lord, they came to him of course he could go.
But the Lord said, "Go ahead and pray.........."

But he (Brother Branham) thought, "Well, maybe I could go lay hands on
him. But my hands are not the clean hands like Christ had.

Oh, I hope, I get a vision. If I get a vision and He says, "Do it, then
it's

done......."

The Lord said, "Just a minute now son, aren't those hands the same hands
before and after the vision?" See

It was in Colorado, where God took away all his (Brother Branham's)
guilt. Gave him the perfect understanding of the Righteousness of God.

You know that as well as I do, and before he died, he could say.....

He said in September is almost an anniversary from the Sunday I was with
him. He (Brother Branham) said, "Lee, since a little boy, I have been
with fear. For the first time, now since a little boy, For the first
time, now since a little boy, I am without fear. My right to the top.

What is it? It is a Revelation. This is not something you and work and
talk about. It is something God did. It is Grace, but we have missed it.

We did, we have always been searching fro the wrong thing. We have
tried to use the Spirit in the wrong direction. It is time to come
back.

The "Eye Age" is over. It is the "Mind Age" Now, It is Revelation that
we might work in this perfection . See.

The Rock of this profession. When we begin to see, we are the
Righteousness of God.

33

By Revelation, we will become what our heart has been crying for. Let
me prove it to you. As it says over here again in Romans 8:33

[33] Who dares condemn me? Who dares? It is Christ that died. Who dares
lay a charge? Well, He says, "I am Righteous"

And God turned to Abram, and said, "Thou name shall no longer be called
Abram, for I have made thee, afather of nations"

And I say to you, today, on the same authority,

"Thou shall no longer call yourself a sinner. Thou shall thyself a
Saint, because God has made you righteous"

Don't you ever call yourself unclean again.

It is going to be a trial. I am battling it, brother, sister, but if
you'll hear my voice as the Voice of God, this morning, through a
servant, not because that I am God or have much to do with God in that
sense.

But take God's Word, this morning as though God spoke, because

what Paul said, "Let it be established in the mouth or two or three
witnesses"

He said, "You heard me preach, not that I was God, but you took it from
my mouth, that It was God speaking it to you, through the Word" Don't
call yourself unclean or a sinner again.

But you say, "Brother Vayle, what if I get in trouble?" Don't you dare,
call yourself a sinner. "What if I slip?"

"ARighteous man willfall Seven times and the Lord will raise him up"

And He which has begun a good work in you. He will present you spotless
before Himself, Presence, in exceeding great glory. Why? Because you
already are.	"Blessed is the man whom the Lord will not impute sin"

God I sinned. I won't impute it, son, just repent. All I want is you to
stand fast. See.

Oh sure, "Allwe like sheep have gone astray. We turned every one of us
to our own way. The Lord laid, upon Him the iniquity of us all"

34

He took our sin that we might become His Righteousness. There is where
the power is my brother, my sister, to walk holy in His Name. There is
where it lays, that we receive the Revelation of what we are in Him.

But as just long as we are obsessed in our mind by the fact that the
carnal nature will never walk in the new nature. That's true, but we
begin to see, what and who we who are in Christ. The gates of hell
cannot prevail against us. See, what I mean? The Revelation of God, we
are the Righteousness

of Christ.

You say, "I don't look like it Brother Vayle" Neither do I honey, but He
said, so. The Bride maybe doesn't look to pretty but she is beautiful.

I don't see a spot or wrinkle, I am looking through the Blood.
Hallelujah. The Righteousness of God revealed, there is the power of the
Gospel.

Because once we know this by Revelation, know with all our hearts,
brother, sister. do you think anything will stand before you? No, sir.

You will say like Paul, when the devil tempted.....

You say, "What really? Devil, who you talking to?"	I am a Pear Tree,
you can't tell me to produce briers.	I am a Fig Tree, don't try to tell
me to produce bramble. What are you talking about?"

Have you ever seen a cow, have horses?	Well, don't look at me to produce
sin. You got to see by the Spirit, what we are in Christ.

Like a Tree, will produce a fruit from it's Seed. Amen.	You got to get
rid of this talk about the "Old" nature. Hogwash.

Christ is our inheritance. You that, what that does? It looks to the
work of Him (Christ) does it. See, why it doesn't work right? When you
are trying to appease Him.

You say, "Jesus did it all, All to Him I owe, crimson, He washed us
white as snow. That's praising God, because, that's Spirit. That's Truth
because that's the Word.	35

You come along and say, "God wasn't I a good fellow?" I went to Africa.
Oh, they been to Jamaica, so many times you know what?

All these people have converted more souls, than there are souls to
convert. They have out done God.	That's what we will present, and we
don't want to present that. It is Jesus.........

That day is coming that He will Judge the world by Jesus Christ. Huh

Oh what a day, that's going to be. I tell you, if I got only foggy
ideas about reality, I will have them at that minute He comes.

I'll say, "Oh God, forgive me. I do claim Your Righteousness" It will be
too late. I might be too late. That's right.

God Bless you. I kept you for a while. I hope it has been good for us. I
like to preach it, I need it. Shall we rise.

"Again, Oh Father, we beseech You having been gathered together
according to Your Word, and Lord we are here according to the Word
because

You said, "Forsake not the assembling ofyourselves together"

And You said, Lord, they was to give the things, we have the authority
over and by the Word of God and you told us to take the Word of God, and

have nothing but the Word of God, and Lord that's the way it has been
this morning.

I haven't tried to say, one thing Lord of my own heart or mind.

And Lord God, You know what a battle, it is to get Your Word out under
conditions like this where we are so use to things just the opposite.

But believing just the opposite to what (we think the) Word is. It seems
so fantastic. Oh, God, that to call things white when you got an idea we
should call them gray.

Oh, God, this morning forgive us is our prayer. Oh, Christ take a curry
comb as it were and scourge our hearts and our minds take them down, Oh
God.

36

That every thought is brought in subjection to this Holy Word by the
Spirit

of God. Because Christ in our hearts has out of ourselves and out of
our own words. Now let God's Word come in, and take over these hearts
and minds.

You said, "We are Righteous" Hallelujah, we are Righteous.

Bless God, just like you said to Abraham, you are a father of nations,
and he said, "That's It" Then we are servants, takes care of it.

That's the whole thing and we are going to walk on it, Lord.

This morning if we are no more Abram, no more sinner. Your Spirit was
given for this very purpose. Now, Lord, we know we are just a little
impatient. We just kind of frantic, Lord that the work should be done
in a hurry.

But Lord this morning, we got to be honest there too. If you are not in
a rush to make this Revelation all the way to the source.

Then going and our own mouth shall testify and either condemn us or
justify us.	You do what You want to do because You are God.

But Lord, we know that You want to bring us to the place of realization
that we talked about, but we want You to do it in Your own time.

So Lord, we open our hearts, and our minds.	So we are panting Lord, and
will not be distressed, because You said, "It is as good as done"

We take that Lord, for an answer.

God bless each one this morning. Let every one have comfort Lord, and
sweetness, and joy in the Holy Ghost. And......in Thy Presence.
Hallelujah. Just that is all we want. Nothing more, in the Name of
Jesus, Amen.

God bless you.
