Righteousness and Unrighteousness Bro. Lee Vayle - November 21, 1971 Now, the message this evening is on 'Righteousness and Unrighteousness, and before we begin let us bow our heads in prayer: Gracious Heavenly Father, it's been so good to gather ourselves together here already. To feel Your Presence in the witness of the Holy Ghost in the lives of these people who are seated here, who have will come to hear the Word. And we know, Lord, they come for one reason, and that is to hear from You according to the Word based upon the Message of a vindicated prophet. Now, we know what he said about the two spirits at the end time. And we know tonight, Lord, that this Word absolutely would have to back him up. There would be no doubt about it whatsoever. It's got to be there just the way he put it. And we know It is there and by Your help tonight, because You alone can open this Word. And You, Lord, we know will open It, and show us the end time condition of the church. Bless every ear, Lord, I pray you even as I am so anxious myself to see lips be anointed. That the Word be in the mouth, not in the mind as though something is produced by the speaker. But, in the mouth, and in the ear, and then the Holy Ghost places It, in those two channels and make It absolute life. Now, bless each one here, Lord. We pray for those that are sick. Bless them, O God, let this Word heal them. Let the joy of the revelation of this Message as It breaks upon them showing what the prophet taught. Letter by letter as he told us to do, to break It down. Let that same Word heal them, even as It brings them up in this high level of faith. Which one day will take them away in a Rapture. If it's going to take them away in a Rapture, it's certainly that same Word that changes the body, it's the same Word anointed that heals the body at this moment. And I thank You for it. To see Your Presence now, Lord, the witness of the Holy Ghost that these things are true. May we stand on them, rebuking the devil that he doesn't snap them from our minds and our hearts. God, grant it tonight in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen. 1. In the Book of Malachi 3: (just two or three verses) beginning 16-18. That's the last chapter Book of course in the Old Testament. (16) Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and thought upon his name. (17) And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. (18) Then shall (you) return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not. Now, you noticed It said here: "That they that feared the Lord, spake often one to another." And this is the people who are going to make up the jewels, which signify the Rapture. Because it's at the Rapture when Christ unites all in heaven and earth, all that are found in Him that His jewels are made up. And you will notice that these people are peculiar, because they speak often one to another. It seems that they fear the Name of the Lord. And their speech is what sets them apart from everybody else. So therefore, they are talking in a certain way that is pleasing to God. Because He said, "They spake often one to another." And evidently what God heard pleased Him, and He said, "These are Mine." So therefore, they were saying those things which were in contradistinction to those who were saying those other things which were not pleasing to God, and made them the people of God. Now, I hope you follow me right here. Because millions of people are saying things, and they call themselves children of God. And they are quoting the Bible. But, there's a group here that's saying a certain thing. That is in my estimation, they are speaking the end time Message. That's all they know to talk about amongst themselves. That's what their whole time is filled with. They are speaking. It's not, they're talking to God now. And it's not saying that God is talking back to them. It is saying they're talking to each other. 2. In other words, their lives are centered on some certain thing they're saying. Now, you know as well as I do, there is nothing that anybody can say that is pleasing to God, unless he is saying what God has already said, and as they're applying to that time in which they live. So, these are a peculiar people, and their difference lies in their words. Not in what they're doing, not in how they're acting, not in where they're going, but it's how they're talking. Now, isn't that right? That's exactly right. And the Bible says, "These shall be mine saith the Lord, in the day when I make up my jewels." And then It says here you know, in that 4th chapter, last verse of 18, that God is coming, that this is the time the earth is going to burn. So, there's a peculiar people here. And these people are identified by the manner in which they speak. This is their final identification. Isn't that what Bro. Branham said, "Give them the Word test?" Well, here you are, exactly laid out in the Scripture. 3. Now, my text of course is [Malachi 3:] verse 18, and It says: (18) Then shall (you) return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not. Now, this text of course is a very obscure one. I doubt very much if you'll find this under famous text by famous preachers. I don't know that you'll find it…used even in many sermons. It's a very obscure quote. And not only is it very obscure, but the Kings James translation is very, very wrong. You notice that the Kings James version says, "Then shall you return and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not." Now, even if you just look in your margin you will see a tremendous error. It does not say, you shall discern, or be able to judge between. Or to know the difference between the righteous and the wicked. It does not say that, It says, "righteousness and wickedness." 4. Now, this shocks us, because what kind of a person is it, who does not know the difference between right from wrong? Now, that's what the Bible says here. It says, "They won't know right from wrong." Also, who is so spiritually darkened, who doesn't know who serves God, and who doesn't serve God. And yet the Bible says they won't know it. They won't know it in the day just preceding the Rapture. They won't know who’s doing wickedly, who’s doing righteously, they won't know who is serving God. Now, you know what's that's like? That's like saying, "A man does not know his left hand from his right hand. It's like further saying, even worse, "He cannot tell his hand when it appears before his face." But, there it is. And this is just the way the people are going to be, because God says so. Now, you'll notice He said, "Then shall you return, and then you'll be able to discern between righteousness and wickedness and not before." Now, let's watch this, if the people have to return, then they have left God. Now, I cannot return to this house until I leave it. This is correct. But, here is where we do not listen to God's Word. We're so used to talking about grace and dealing in generalities, that we do not realize that God has said, "At the end time everybody leaves God." Oh say, "There's got to be a nucleus who don't." Now, you see, right there you're wrong, you're making God a liar. "Well, Bro. Vayle, I know my heart." 5. Oh, no you don't know your heart, you lie. I want to be sweet and kind to you. But, I got to be honest I'm not your friend. See, because "let every man's word be a lie, but let Mine be true." said God. [Rom 3:4a] "Well, I never did leave God." Oh, come on, you're wrong, you did leave God. You say, "Well, I'm looking at that great atonement and all these…" Now, look it, right there learn to button up your mouth. Learn to button up your mouth and get off the defensive. Humble your heart and say, "Oh God, is this the condition of the day that we have all left You and don't know right from wrong? Is this where we really stand? Is this why You say, "If I don't send Elijah, I'll come and destroy lock, stock, and barrel?" And begin to say," What is the matter?" Now, you see, people don't want to do that. But, this is the truth and this includes the Bride, she also has left, there's everybody has left. "Behold, I stand at the door and knock, outside the Church." [Rev 3:20] (See?) 6. Now, let's look at Malachi 3:7 and get the picture here: (7) Even from the days of your fathers (you) are gone away from mine ordinances, … You started leaving Me through My Word way back there two thousand years ago, and now that you're all the way up to the threshold of the Rapture, there isn't one of you that has a proper relationship with Me, even though you say you have; you talk about your union and you haven't got it. You talk about being joined, it's not so. (See?) There's a terrible condition there. Notice what He said how they gone away from God. "You have left Mine ordinances, " to leave the Word of God is to leave God. When they left that Word, they left God. Why? Because God is the Word. Now He says: (7) …Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts…. Now, how is he going to return unto God? There is only one way that you can return unto God, and that is by turning back to that Word. Now, I know people say, "But, I never did leave that Word." Oh, come on. You got a Methodist here, you got a Baptist here, you got a Presbyterian here, and several varieties. What, fifty-seven varieties of Baptist, or a hundred and fifty-seven? How many kinds of Presbyterian's have you got? How many kinds of Methodist's have you got? How many kinds of Pentecostals'? They I think are about the worst of the works. How many kinds of Nazarenes you got? How many kinds of even Catholic's have you got? How many kinds of Church of Christ have you got? You have literally hundreds and hundreds, and hundreds. And everyone is supposed to be in that Word, and claim that they are the door to heaven through the revelation of God's Word. And He says, "None of you have got It.” He said, "You've all left Me." You started two thousand years ago and now (He said) you've all turned, you've left My ordinances, you have left Me. 7. Now, notice when this occurred, I've already mentioned, Malachi 4: (1) For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, … That's it, that's the key, the proud. What caused the fall of Satan? Pride. "I will exalt myself above the most High." [Isa 14:14] See, pride. Can't admit that they have left God. Can't admit they have left the Word. (See?) All the proud. (1) …yea, (they that) do wickedly, shall be as stubble: (in) the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, (and) it shall leave them neither root nor branch. In other words, there won't be a family left that's intact. He's going to burn them all up. Father, mother, sister, brother, every kindred. He's going to just blot the earth. like in the days of Noah. Only this time it's going to be by fire. And the only ones left will be the 144,000 who go into the Millennium with the resurrected Saints. 8. (2) But unto you that fear my name… Who are they? They who talk a certain kind of a language to one another. Not to God now. They're not praying, everybody's praying. Oh, there's millions and millions of people praying. These folk, aren't praying. Now, they do pray, but these aren't praying. (See?) For they talk a certain kind of language. They talk a certain type of Word. (2) … (unto them) the Sun of righteousness (shall) arise with healing in his wings; and (you) shall go forth, and grow as calves of the stall. (3) And (you) shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet… Now remember, the fire takes the place of the flood. Now remember, that Noah and his other seven, walked on the ashes of the wicked for his day. Only they weren’t ashes. There was a layer of silt upon all the bones and all the corruption, and all the filth. And as that water receded, (now listen) the water was over the top of the mountain in forty days. And remember, it stayed there for hundreds. 9. Now, how much sunlight can get down through that water and keep those plants growing. You can't do it, they died. God laid down a bed of silt, kept the water over it, broth forth like at creation. And Noah walked as it were, over the ashes, over all those bones in all that corruption. And all that silt was covered over with a layer of protective soil, so that the Saints of God could walk on it. Therefore, in this day we're going to see the same thing. That's after the fire purges this earth. The atomic bombs that hit it and all. God in His Own purifying fire will lay down perhaps volcanic ash, bring forth a verdure on the land. And here men will walk on the ashes of the wicked. Now, they won't go kicking ashes like that. I can't believe that for five seconds. My imagination won't let me do that to me. And the Word of God won't let me do that. No, I can't. I'm not walking to kick ashes around, I'll be walking over top. Just like Noah. (See?) Same picture. Same thing. God renovating a portion, maybe all the earth. (See?) He's taking that water up there again. So, the earth goes back on its axis. Layer of humus laid down. God's people coming back to primeval condition, like the Garden of Eden. (See?) Tending nature. And having a honeymoon with the Groom, which is as it's supposed to be. Now, this is the end time. 10. Now, keep watching: (4) Remember (you) the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. (5) Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: (Before I turn the land to ashes.) (6 And he shall turn the heart of the…the children (back) to their fathers, … Now, this is the lament of God. He said, "From the days of your fathers you have left My Word." Now, He said, "You have come to the place where you don't even know righteousness from wickedness. You don't know who’s serving God, and who isn't serving God. But, He said, "I'm going to send Elijah, and he is going to turn your hearts back, to the fathers, and then you will know the difference between righteousness and wickedness.” You will know the difference, between him who serves God, and him who doesn't serve God. And you will be talking about it, and as you talk about it, everybody is going hate you, and they're going to say, “That puffed up bunch of proud ignoramuses, who do they think they are anyway?" 11. In other words, "You're the only guys that's going to make it, eh? What have you got on the ball? I been watching you, you ain't so hot. And as far as ministry is concerned, what are you producing?" (See?) It's their language. It's their language that God is watching. To identify as Abraham did. (See?) With the promise of the hour, it's going to bring forth the Son. Now, that's it, He says here, He said, (6) (Now, if I don't do that) …I (will) come and smite (utterly) the earth with a curse. In other words, I'll just walk over the whole thing, and curse the whole thing. So, you can see that this terrible condition exists just before Jesus Christ our Lord come. You will also note as I mentioned how the people are turned back to God, it is by Elijah the prophet. Now let's prove that. 12. We go to Matthew 17:11 (11) And Jesus answered and said… (Elijah) shall truly first come, and restore all things. What all things? All things which must be restored before Christ can come and set up His Kingdom. Now remember, the first steps that Christ does to set up His Kingdom, is to take out His Bride in order to restore the Kingdom back to its original position for the Bride to come down on it. Now, I know people say, "I well I think the Kingdom is going to start, bless God, when He comes down and just takes over." That's where you're wrong. He has got to come down and set things in order, in order to do it. And He does it first of all setting the Bride in order. Amen. That's a beautiful thought if we just get it. (See?) 13. Now, the Kingdom is being set up right now. Something is going on right now. (See?) The Elijah ministry. And He said here, "I tell you, some of you standing here will not taste death, you'll not die till you have an actual vision of my Kingdom coming in power." [Mt 16:28] And the disciple said, "The Scribes and Pharisees teach that Elijah is going to come and restore first." And He said, "Elijah himself truly shall first come and restore." [Mt 17:10-11] He is going to come. And what is he going to restore? Now, It tells you right there what he's going to restore. He's going to restore the hearts of the children back to the fathers, so they know righteousness from wickedness, so they know who serves God and who doesn't serve God. And they're getting ready to turn from destruction. And once they're ready, then He can destroy. So, that's part of it. We're right in the very mix now of the transition period, we're right in the very midst of God Almighty switching right over, and just putting this land in order for the beast. Yeah, Amen, it's going on now. Say, "Bro. Vayle, I don't see anything." I don't care what you see. I don't care what I see. I haven't got a thing to do with it. The minute Elijah starts turning those hearts back. That's a very minute that this thing is going right in, and Christ is just standing there. And remember, He said, "I'm coming, and I'm coming with a curse if Elijah isn't there right ahead of Me.? (See?) 14. Now, Elijah steps in just ahead of Him, as the people of God are ready. And then He's got them ready by the peculiar language they're talking. You don't mean to tell me the baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ." What's baptism got to do with any kind of a name? Why, that's just an answer of a good conscience toward God. "So, don’t tell me I got to get baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Why my grand-pappy and my great grand-pappy did that, and I want to tell you that nobody can prove a point on it." That's where you're wrong. Find me one person in the Bible ever baptized any other way. (See?) What about this, and what about that? You say, "This business of Elijah coming. Why, we’ve had all those guys for years, and it's just a bunch of nonsense." I don't care if you've have five million, there's got to be a genuine, because God said so. (See?) It's how you're talking. It's where do you stand with that Word. (See?) Amen, do you see the point, what we're driving at, and see, see what it is? "They that talked often to each other." They're doing talking, and they're doing it in a certain way. Because in another certain way God hates the way some people talk. He says, "Thou Saith, Thou Saith." But, these folks are like Me say, "That's My jewels down there." Now, you can see from what I said that everything begins to jell in your mind. Bro. Branham said, "The evidence was not love." He said, "It was not character." We've seen the Word of God in power, but not in restoration of revelation. What did he say It was? "Identification with that Word." What does the Bible say? It says the same thing, and I showed It to you. Amen! I'm getting real religious, just like I was in church, only, this is better than church. 15. Now, let me show you something over here in the Book of Acts. Just happy with the Word of the Lord. (See?) Let's look at the Book of Acts 3:19 (19) Repent (you) therefore… That means 'change your mind'. (See?) Just to change your mind. (See?) Well, doesn't that line up with what I'm teaching? See, if you don't know right from wrong, (see?) then how can you have a conviction? So, repentance is not having… "Oh, I'm a terrible sinner, oh, I'm a terrible sinner, I've got some great conviction." Oh, that's not it at all. Oh, that could be a part of it. Repentance is a change of mind. It's a light breaking upon your mind. It's a change of mind. Have a change of mind. It's says: (19) …and (then, turn around) be converted, … (see, come into.) What does Bro. Branham say about conversion? What did Jesus say to Peter, "When thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren." [Lk 22:32] A conversion right here in this sense, I'm not going to change the Word of God here, because the conversion here means 'to turn again'. But the point is this, how many people have the Holy Ghost? You'll think about it then. Because It says…he's telling the people here, "You better change of mind and you get converted," When Jesus said to Peter, "When you're converted, when you get the Holy Ghost, strengthen the brethren." Now listen: (19) …that your sins may be blotted out, when the times (notice, a special time) when the times of refreshing… That's a breeze, a fresh breeze in a room, heated room that perks the people up, and catches them. (See?) Blasts of cool air comes in, and what does it do? It shakes your mind and you're alert. The vitality hitting your mind. (See?) Now notice, what's it going to come from? (19) …when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. Now, what's the Presence of the Lord? The Presence of the Lord in the Greek means, 'that part of anything this is presented to the eye'. 16. Now, It tells you right here, there is going to be a perking up. Sins will be blotted out. People turned right, when that which is visible of the Lord is presented to the eye. All right, what have you ever seen of God? Say, "God, come on the scene." Well, I've got news for you, He's on the scene right now, He's right here. I can't see Him. I cannot bring Him into manifestation. So, one day there was a man called Nicodemus and he went and knocked on Jesus' door. And he said, "I've got to have some answers." He said, "I know everybody hates You, and I'm scared to come in the day time, but I've got to have some answers. Because (he said) I know that You are a man sent from God, because no man can do the things that You can do, except God be with Him." And do you know what that meant? He said, "Nicodemus, I've watched you and a man's word will not do what your words do." (See?) 17. Now listen, in John 15: Jesus said, "If I had not done the things that no other man done, they had not sinned, but now they have seen both Me and My Father, and hated both Me and My Father." Now, when did the people see God? They saw God when they saw the works that the words of a man will not do, but only the Words of God can do. And how many times did you see God when William Branham stood there and those works of God were done? I can say tonight without fear, I have seen God face to face. I have seen God time after time, because that's all of God that the eye can see, is the mighty works. I look at nature, nature isn't God, but I see God when I see nature. When I see a beautiful bird, a beautiful butterfly, I see scenery, I see the delicacy of a snow…the delicate intricate and beautiful design of snowflakes under a microscope. And I know there are billions of tons of snow fallen since the creation, and not one snowflake is like the other snowflake. And not one leaf on each tree, they're all different, whether they be the same tree or not, there are no duplications. How about the fingerprints. Billions and trillions of people on this earth from the beginning, not one fingerprint that's the same. And there are other identification marks even greater. What kind of a God could do a thing like that? You see. What can be seen of God? Now, what was seen of God in this Age was the miracle ministry of Jesus Christ brought back to this earth, and they saw God. 18. Now, keep reading: Now, It says, after this, [Acts 3:] (20) …(God) shall send Jesus Christ, which was (not) preached… (He wasn't preached, He was there. He was appointed. Cross that out of your Bibles, and put the right word in. Was appointed) unto you. (Because He was appointed, and they turned Him down.) Now: (21) Whom the heaven must (retain, not) receive, (retain) until the (restoration) of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. And It says right here, when you see God come into full view through the ministry of this man, then you hear him restore the Word, then Christ can come. Now, what if you don't see Him? How are you going to repent? How is the revival breeze, how is that refreshing blast going to blow upon you if you don't see Him? Now, let's go back to the time of Israel the same thing took place. How many got the reviving blast, and how many got the killing, the killing, chilling frost, or the searing heat that destroyed them? Barely a handful where breathed upon to get revival. But the majority destroyed themselves by turning down Almighty God. Now: (22) For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall (you) hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. (23) And it shall come to pass, that every soul, (that) will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people. And the word in the Greek is 'utterly' destroyed, just like It says in Malachi. It is the prophet Elijah who comes with his great restoration ministry. 19. Now, notice I mentioned that this period of time, a spiritual blindness just before Jesus returns, (wherein Elijah comes) they are so blind they cannot tell righteousness from unrighteousness. They cannot tell righteousness from iniquity, or from wickedness. Which is exactly the condition of the Seventh Church Age, the Laodicean church, in the Book of Revelation chapter 3:14-22 of which I read. Verse 17. (17) Because thou sayest, (God didn't say it, they said it. They said it, God didn't say it.) Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, (I don't) need (absolutely anything, don't need a thing.) and (you don't know that you are) wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: Now, I want to tell you when people cannot tell righteousness from wickedness, and they don't know who serves God and who doesn't serve God, they have to be wretched and miserable, and blind and naked, because that is the only description that will fit them. Because let me tell you, if they can't tell righteousness from wickedness, and those who serve God and those who don't, they are blind, and they will be stripped naked and they will be wretched and they will be poor, because they'll be taken. Now, you know that's the truth. . In other words, what is it that [P. T.] Barnum [circus showman] said, "There's a fool born every minute, and there's somebody to take them." Now, all you've got to do is cast around in your mind the golden calf scheme of the people that you know with these so called great ministries, who simple glow beside the Lord, hallelujah. By pulling every rotten dirty trick in the book to get every plug nickel, which not one penny ever won any souls for God yet. It's the Holy Ghost. What a mess. (See?) They don't know the difference. (See?) That's why they're that way. But now, although this is true, let us know that some beautiful good thing. Along with it, which is bad, we'll look at some beautiful good things. Although we won't maybe discuss it at this very second. 20. Luke 17:26-30 (26) And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. What are the days of Noah? God taking a single solitary prophet to bring in the family. Now what family? There is only one family we know today, and that's the family of God in the earth. It is not in heaven, and it is not under the earth. No, my brother, my sister, those that up there are already gone away, they're fine, those that are in the earth you cannot touch them, it’s those that are on the earth. And Noah took the family of God, and put them in that ark, in a desperately wicked time when nobody else wanted to go into the ark. Why? Because they knew it all. You couldn't tell them anything. Say, beware you're in terrible danger. Listen, God is going to judge this nation. "Oh, (they said) ha, ha, look, we never were more spiritual and better fit for the Kingdom." What’s the matter with it? "You, poor old fogy you, just because…what is the matter with your head? Look, just because we don't listen to you and bow and scrape to you." And they said, "That's the way it is, and we're just a bunch of lotters, [sellers] because you say so?" That's the way the acted. They weren't going to go into that ark. Unbelief, wretched, miserable, naked, blind. "Well, we don't need God, we don't need a thing." "You need this ark! You need this instrument drawn up before you, which is a revelation of God's Word, to this Age, and there it stands. No, we don't need that. Noah look, look fellow, I know you're religious, and we can't put a finger on you, now we love you. Now look, just go and shave your whiskers, get a haircut and just sit in your chair and rock, honey. Or at least stop talking silly and come and join us lying in the world." No, you see they turned it down. 21. Watch: (27) They (ate), they drank, they (gave in marriage) …until the (very) day (the little family) entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed (everybody but the family. Sure.) (28) Likewise, also as it was in the days of Lot; they (ate), they drank, they bought, (they built) they sold, they (sowed, and so on.) What about that? Sodomites in the land. Blinded. blinded people, searching for the door and couldn't find it. People searching for Christ today. Every paper you pick up, Jesus' people, this, that and the other, all searching God. Revival going behind the Iron Curtain. See, you can't believe that can you and be sane? You can't believe that and believe the Word of God at the same time. You can't believe that and believe this Message. It is impossible. They're not there. Sure, they're searching, but they're blinded. They're not finding the door. They're too taken up with their…what is Sodomites? Sodomy? Sodomy is where either a male with a male, or a female with female. And that's what you have got today. You have got a perversion, a spiritual perversion, amongst the people. (See?) Until the preachers, the Baptists, a bunch of Sodomites, because all they want is people living in a spiritual fornication with them. Becomes a Sodomy. Methodist, Presbyterian, it's all the same thing. When God sends a prophet to try to get the people to turn back to the lover of the ages. The lover of our souls, the Bridegroom. But, they don't want it. (See?) 22. Notice to what It said in Sodom. It said, (29) (As soon as when) Lot went out of (there) it rained fire and brim- stone from heaven, and destroyed…all. (a-double-l) Noah's day, (a-double-l) Now remember, Elijah appears one more time after this Age. He goes to the 144,000. The only ones who had any opportunity to get turned in, to get turned to God. (See?) That's the condition. But of course, with this condition, remember, there is also the fact that the Son of man is revealed. (See?) Now, watch closely, Peter explained what Jesus said about Elijah in Matthew 17: which I read to you in Acts 3: Because it was for the three, it was said, "Elijah shall restore,' and Peter explained it. Now, if this is the case I have no reason to doubt, but what that Peter also would have the revelation of Luke 17:26-30. The Sodomite condition at the end time. And don't you know, that's exactly what's in the Bible. 23. The second chapter of Peter, the whole chapter. Just like Peter had the revelation on Matthew 17:11. He's got the revelation on Luke 17:26-30 of the end time. Notice, But, there arose, (not were) there arose is the actual word in the Greek. False prophets also amongst the people. "Even, so there shall be false teachers among you." Now notice, the emphasis according to Peter after Jesus said, "There shall arrive false Christ's, even lying prophets." [Mt 24:24] Peter said, "watch out for the teachers." James said the same thing. "My brethren, be not many teachers." [Jas 3:1] Jesus Himself said, "What kind of a man that teaches you to break the least commandment?" "Oh, it's okay to be the same thing." Watch your teachers. I say, “watch you teachers”. Now, here is one axe I have got to grind with people who go to church and say they believe this Message. They will hear any preacher at all. And then when that person says something contrary to the Word, they will either defend him, or they will not go to him and say, "What did you mean." 24. Now, everything I say is on tape. I make my own tapes, our tapes made here, and we're testing this little machine here just to see how nice it turns out. You can all get my tapes. When you find anything, I say on that tape it does not line up exactly with what the prophet said, you are duty bound according to William Branham to tell me about it. Exactly what you're supposed to do. People aren't doing it. Now, you've got to watch those teachers. Why? Because they will privily… (what's privily?) themselves doing it, not in communication and conjunction with the man who brought the Message by the Holy Ghost. It’s your own interpretation, your own ideas they’re going to bring you. "And they shall bring in damnable heresy." [2 Pet 2:1] In other words, they will bring you their heretical thing, which will bring you into the judgment. And remember, the Bride does not go into the judgment. So therefore, if you come into the judgment, you are not Bride. "Teachers, even denying the Lord that bought, and bring about to themselves swift destruction. [2 Pet 2:1b] 25. In other words, it will come to denying of the Lord. You say, "Well, does that mean I'm going to say there's no God?" No sir! It just says, you're denying the very Lord, you're denying the very Word. "And many, (notice, many, not a few but many, a whole bunch) shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom, the way of truth shall be evil spoken of." [2 Pet 2:2] In other words, the very Word of God is going to be perverted. "And through covetousness with feigned words make merchandise…" What's a feigned word? It's a pretend word. God doesn't have a pretend Word. No sir! Pretend word. Something with no substance. "Shall make merchandise of you." Sell your soul, make you one of their followers. Get you paying tithes. Get you running their errands. (See?) Sure, "…whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not." [2 Pet 2:3] Now, what is it? They're identified with false spirits. Now, did you hear what I said? They are identified with false spirits. I'll prove it in a little while, you wait and see where the Scripture comes out on this one. the mouth of two witnesses not just one. 26. "Having eyes full of adultery…" [2 Pet 2:14a] Now, that's not physical adultery. That's spiritual adultery. What is spiritual adultery? A mind, a brain, a mind that opens itself to anything, but the Word of God. So, you become a spiritual whore, receiving a false seed to make you a spiritual prostitute. Eve fornicated in her mind. "Oh, Bro. Vayle, my heart is so sweet, and I love everybody." Well, I'm glad for you, God bless you, that's very nice." You’d make a beautiful prostitute. She's be real sweet. I'm not talking about you now, I'm laying this on a tape as a principle, so that I'm teaching it. What I have to say tonight hasn't got one thing to do with just people. But, being a teacher, I teach according to a precept and that's what you're listening to. If I was teaching a Pythagorean theory, here it would not be that you are all Pythagorean, or a mathematician, I'm simply laying down a law. So, I am laying down a law now unto you, because you're being taught. This is a spiritual thing in majority. Although there's a lot physical fornication too. 27. Now, why is it adultery? Because they claim to be married to Him, but they're fooling with their creeds and dogmas. "They cannot cease from sin, (unbelief in the revealed Word,) unstable souls, beguiling unstable souls…" [2 Pet 2:14b] You see, they are not set on the Word. They don't say, "Well, bless God we've got a vindicated prophet. So, tell me what you want, I just can't listen. Say, "Oh brother listen, I want to show you these great things…Hallelujah. God's working here. Why, they're walking on water in Indonesia, and they're doing this, and they're doing that. And this lovely little sister from over here in Pennsylvania." "Oh, (I said) that's nice, you just kiss her, be sweet. You do listen to her, go right ahead and keep it up. Don't fool me, don't fool…I ain't coming with you. No, I'm not, I'm not an unstable soul, I'm a stable soul. Even got horse sense." Yeah, I heard a prophet, came as vindicated messenger. Heard him name names, and places, and dates. Saw that God backed him up. I got one thing to say about this Message, if this ain’t it, forget it! Where are you going to go? Who’s got anything? I want to know who’s got anything? Show me every Baptist preacher this Message, from every preacher in this town with his entire congregation, have one ounce of the power that Bro. Branham could demonstrate before God. They all said together, they didn't have it. 28. That's just like saying, "Here I've got a beautiful, handful of beautiful cut diamonds, and they're worth one million dollars." And the guy says, "Look Johnny, I want to tell you something, I got some beautiful glass here, and it shines nice. I'll tell you, I'll give you my home full of glass for those paltry diamonds." And I said, "You got to be sick." He, he, he, take your fifteen hundred million tons of glass and beat it bud." We weren't born yesterday. This is the day when we're supposed to grow up, we're no longer taken by sleight to men, winds, and doctrine we've grown up, we're coming nearer the head. You just say, "Look, if this isn't it, goodbye." (See?) We've been all through the devil's testing, you know where we stand. "Unstable souls: (listen, our) heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children." [2 Pet 2:14c] 29. Now, what was the first child cursed? Cain! Serpent seed. Serpent seed, preachers, teachers. "They have forsaken the right way…" Then they must have been there for them to forsake it. They must have known. As Bro. Branham said, "They knew better." Didn't he? Sure, he did. "…they're gone astray…" there must have been a time when they were right alongside here, saw this and knew this. (See?) "...following the way of Balaam… (they have gone to gift ministry, and left the Word for the power) they loved the wages of unrighteousness." [2 Pet 2:15] Right. What they do pays big money. They know right from wrong. You mean to tell me that one of these guys that says, "Give us the tools and we'll do the job?" You think He doesn't know that what I'm saying tonight? "Give me the money and we'll get the souls won." Where do you get that in your Bible? If God was going to take money to win souls, as I said before, He wouldn't have given you the Holy Ghost, He would have given you chunks of gold ten miles wide, and twenty miles high. Then men who say, "It only takes twenty cents to win a soul." You know if that were the truth, I'd rob a bank. Well sure, why not? The end justifies the means. If all it is, is take me to go to jail after robbing a bank, or getting myself shot to bring souls to the kingdom? Just find me something like that in the Word, honey. Just find me something. Or why do they say it? Don’t you see? 30. Listen: The dumb ass, that was rebuked for his iniquity. He was so mixed up, he didn't know right and wrong. And yet he did. It says, "The dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet." [2 Pet 2:16] Did you ever hear a mad prophet? You got them right there. "These are wells without water… (no Holy Ghost, big ministry) clouds that are carried with a tempest; (fast on their way to destruction, telling you they’re in a great rush…and they are.) to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. For when they speak…(thou sayest, thou sayest, thou sayest, they're talking) great swelling words of vanity…" [2 Pet 2:17-18a] It's all vain, it won't come to pass, puffed up, pride. "Bless God, (said one guy) I want to tell you, (said) if Bro. Branham were here, he'd have to admit that he didn't tell the truth, but I've got the Word." One man said, "Yes, bless God, I'll tell you why he died, because he wouldn't clear the path for my ministry, and I'm the one with the ministry." Well, if he had the ministry, who needs to clear his path? If I've got the million dollars, I'll write my own check honey, I don't need yours. You talk about the iniquity and the pure idiocy. I know I'm sarcastic. I've got a little gift of sarcasm, I hope it's in the right place. 31. Now listen: …"vanity, (pride) they allure through the lusts of the flesh, …" [2 Pet 2:18b] That's pride in there, they appeal to the pride. Who of you like to be my prayer partner? How about one of our…what do they call, this kind of a prosperity pastorate, or the golden nail that you hang on the wall. The anointed pocket book. My pocket book is anointed too, because I've got to put so much grease in my hair, if I don't one wind and my hair goes forty thousand ways, since I've got forty thousand hairs. So, I put a lot of grease in my hair, and then you see the oil that’s from my comb gets on my wallet. So, I've got an anointed pocket book too. Yeah, I don’t need theirs. Thank you very much Jesus, You take care of my needs. What, of all the…appeal. One man wrote said, "Years ago, Bro. Vayle, I wanted to help Bro. Branham, but he didn't have a program. And I began looking for men with a program, I finally gave my money to the Pentecostal church, that's two thousand dollars and they built a lovely steeple with it." And I thought, that's about the right place for it too. (See?) They allure to the flesh. (See?) 32. Absalom sat in the gate, and he said, "Bless God if I were king (he said) I appreciate your subtlety. " He said, "I know you've got a real problem. But, (he said) if I were king…" He used to groom his hair, just hold that hair up, lovely curls hanging down, that beautiful million dollar smile. I know we use that 'Ipana' [tooth paste product] or what is it, that sex appeal stuff they advertise. Maybe some of that new stuff. I know, but he smiled so great. There he was his lovely curls. And he said, "If I were king (he said) it would be different. Yes, (he said) yes, yes." You know, they're getting you to the kingdom that way, you know, how it is. Yeah, don't you believe that nonsense and those lies brother/sister. It says, "…they allure through the lusts…" That word is really pleasure. Lust is too hard a word. It's a good word in some places, but it's really too hard a word, it means pleasure, and that takes the whole thing in anyway. "…they much wantonness, those that were clean, escaped from them who live in error. [2 Peter 2:18c] 33. Now listen: "While they (these teachers) promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption…" What corruption? The corrupt mind, which brings a corrupt faith. Their minds are corrupt, and they're reprobate concerning faith. See, they've gone back on the Word. "…for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage." [2 Pet 2:19] He's back in the slavery. Sometime I'll come back and preach 'Manifested Sons', and can show you escaped from. Where the church is right today in that same slavery. "For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning." [2 Pet 2:20] Sure, they escaped the pollution, and they're right back to it. It doesn't mean they got to go back and live like the devil. No, it just means they're off the Word. They gotten away. Now listen, "For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness…" [2 Pet 2:21a] 34. In other words, that way was right there before them, clear view. And they turned it right down. Isn't it a clear view today when the world knew that we had a man that had 'Thus Saith the Lord'? Isn't is a clear view when a man can stand on that platform, and said, "I challenge you to bring me twenty-four of your worse cases, and I guarantee healing for all?" And he, did it? He said, "Bring them up here, and I'll prove it to you." Now, he said, "How many of you folk got a prayer card?" Thousands raised their hand. "Well, (he said) it's up to you. You people with prayer cards vote." He said, "Because you're the ones that stand in the meeting tonight, not the onlookers. Now, (he said) you want to see twenty-four miracles tonight that I guarantee, or do you want to go through the prayer line all of you, where sixty percent get healed, and sort of take your chance? How many want to see the twenty-four miracles?" Maybe a dozen hands goes up. "How many want to see those in the prayer line?" All the hands go up but the half a dozen. They go through the prayer line, maybe fifteen hundred, to two thousand go through the prayer line, where there's not one single miss. Now only do they now, see not twenty-four miracles, but they see two thousand guaranteed miracles. And they missed the impact of the whole thing. There's a man that can stand there and guarantee miracles. 35. You show me anybody else that can do that. But they turned their backs on it. "Oh, he's a man. Oh, he's one. Oh, isn't that great. Here's a lovely Christian, who said, "Hallelujah Jesus, I love you." Oh, he takes the emblems and he does so emotionally, eating that bread, and you see these tears going down his mouth. "Oh God, oh God." As he drinks the wine, "Oh God, oh God." Won't even drink wine, because you guys are afraid to line up. "Oh God…" He loves the Lord, and he loves Lord… And you know what? "I'm a Republican, you're a Democrat shake hands brother, hallelujah. You Oneness…grrrr! [makes a growling noise] Isn't that, exactly right? That's God's truth, as I stand, that's God's truth, I told you. That you being a Republican to love a Democrat. Slobber over communion, then see God what the naked eye can see of God. [inaudible] Some kind of a dirty breath. Where do you stand tonight brother/sister? Can you not agree with the text that don't know their left hand and right hand, that says, they don’t. They don't know who serves God and who doesn't. I never found the Bible wrong yet, and I'm never going to find It wrong. It would have been better not knowing that way. It was right before them, they knew better. Then after having known, they knew it, then to turn from the Holy Commandment delivered unto them, turn back to God and that Word. Leave your creeds and dogmas, come out of it. But, it happened unto them according to the true Proverb, the dog is turned to his own vomit again, and the sow that was washed to wallowing in the mire. 36. Now, let's just take a little peek at some of these things here. Let's look at this verse that I've been reading to you. [2 Pet 2:] verse 5 (5) And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; (Righteousness verses ungodly.) Now, let's go a little further here, verse 8, (8) (For that righteous man dwelling among them, (and) seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul…with their unlawful deeds; (9) (But God) knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations… (10) But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. (What government? Local? No! Divine authority sent down.) Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. Those that do know the truth. (See?) What are they? Verse 12, (12) …these, as natural brute beasts… Now watch, serpent seed, animal. Now watch: (13) (They) shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, … (not righteousness.) Remember the day, come, "Let him that is holy, be holy still, him that just be unholy be unholy still." [Rev 22:11] You know that one? Listen, now watch: (13) …as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; Sit right at the Communion table. Act like, talk like, Christians. Cry…what I said a while ago about Communion. Carry on, and leave that Word that the prophet brought vindicated. (See?) Notice, the whole chapter is dealing with righteousness and unrighteousness, at the end time. It tells you exactly what it's all about. 37. Now notice: the second witness to this truth is the apostle Paul himself at the end time condition where they don't their left hand from the right hand spiritually speaking. in 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 Now, you all know this because you've heard It dozens of times you've heard me preach so many times on It. Verse 8. (8) And then shall that (lawless one) be revealed, (wicked, that word is 'lawless') whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: (9) Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, (10) And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. I know people say, "Well, right away that refers to the fact that they don't believe in a sacrifice. Well, I've got news for you, you're wrong. They turned down the truth. They don't turn down a sacrifice. Israel never turned down the sacrifice, they turned down the truth. They didn't turn down the sacrifice, they left Egypt by it. The Bible said they died, because the Gospel preached them, was not mixed with faith and them that heard It, they wouldn't hear. Is that, right? People can talk all they want about a sacrifice. Talk all they want about God. They can't turn down this end time Word. Why? Because if they do, then they'll talk evil against it. And when you go against the Word of God, taking or adding to It, you'll got into the tribulation and you'll lose your own salvation. 38. A peculiar people at the end time have a peculiar language. They speak the same thing the prophet speaks. Amen, I like that. (11) And for this cause (of turning down the vindicated Word) God… Not the devil now. Don't you get all mixed up here and blame the devil. This is God Himself doing it. God's angry. God's got to bring something on this world to justify Him in wiping the whole thing out. Why? Because it's lukewarm. It won't be lukewarm after a while. When the squeeze comes down she'll be red hot, you watch and see. You'd be red hot against the Bride. (11) … God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe (the) lie: … (Not a lie, but 'the' lie.) (12) That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. They didn't know unrighteousness from wickedness, and they loved exactly what they had. And thought they had it all. You follow what I said? Now, remember those things I said about that spirit awhile ago, and now this. You hold that in your mind, don't forget it. That's exactly what the prophet to the Word of God… All right, we've established the end time condition of Christianity. I said Christianity. The Laodicean Church Age ends in a great deception. Spiritually blinded people. That cannot tell righteousness from unrighteousness, right in the church. They fail to see who serves God and him who serves Him not, and thereby they end up worshipping the antichrist in a great big beautiful church system. 39. Now, what does this come from? Where does this terrible harvest come from? What in the world has brought it on? Let's find out. We go to 1 John 3: and we're going to see something here that’s absolutely fantastic, to show us why the prophet taught us here, about the two spirits so close, and they end up worshipping the devil thinking it's God. Now, let's read [1 John 3:] verse 7. (7) Little children, let no man deceive you: (now he's warning you, here is a place where you can get fooled) he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as (Jesus Christ) is righteous. But, what about the end time when you can't tell righteousness from wickedness? Now, when you can't tell them, you are either completely mentally gone, or they're so close. They're so close, if you just don't know and can't know. Now, you make up your mind. Now, was John saying, "Listen, you bunch of completely gone, mentally gone people." No, that wasn't. Little children, little children. You show me where God has a bunch of people that are insane in the Bride? You show me where God has any faith in the mentally deficient? He said, "Comfort the feeble minded." It didn't say, "Give them an audience, and listen to them." He said, "Just pat them, and say, 'that's nice brother, God bless you, be sweet, be kind, and all things that are nice. " You can't do a thing with them. They're gone. Just be sweet. (See?) God is speaking to the children. 40. Now, reading verse 8 (8) He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. … Now, we know that's not from the very beginning, because in the very beginning we was without sin. This is another beginning. (8) For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that (God, Son) might (bring to nothing, or destroy, or annul) the works of the devil. Now listen: (9) Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Now, right here It tells you something. It says, "That which is born of God does not commit sin, because it cannot commit sin." I don't lift eight hundred pounds, because I can't life eight hundred pounds. Neither can I sin, because I have no way of doing it. Now, this must be some-thing different from 1 John 2: where It said, if you do sin you have an advocate with the Father. And It says if you try to tell somebody that you don't sin, you're a liar. So, this is something different. 41. Now, reading on…now notice: (10) In this (very thing) the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. (11) For this is the message that (you) heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. (12) Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's (were) righteous. Now, verse 7 makes a dynamic statement about identification with Jesus. (7) …let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as (Christ) is righteous. So therefore, I don't care in what Age you live, if you are going to be identified with Jesus Christ and His righteousness, you are going to have to know the difference between righteousness and unrighteousness, or you're not going to make it. Because if you don't know the difference, how are you going to manifest righteousness? Where are you going to stand? See, you can't do it. 42. Now, this statement gives us our identification with Jesus. Now, what does Paul say about this subject of identification? Let's go to 2 Corinthians 5:21, then we'll come back to John. (We want to get your minds lined up here.) (21) For (God) hath made (Jesus) …who knew no sin; (to be made sin for us) that we might (become the very righteousness of God… (by our union with Jesus Christ.) In other words, when you're baptized into the Body of Jesus Christ, (the true Church) you are just as righteous as Jesus Christ and have become His Own righteousness. Now, Paul explains it, John makes the statement of the doctrine. And Paul goes into It, explaining It to us. 43. Now, notice in [1 John 3:] verse 10. (10) In this (very thing) the children of God are manifest, … This is a showdown. This lets you know where you stand before the whole church world. You know the difference between righteousness and unrighteousness, and therefore you do righteousness. You never fail. We don't need an advocate, here's one place you’re infallible. (See?) You're right in it. Now, this is a Bride in every Age. And at this Age, thank God someone shows us when we get near that pit. Now: (12) …whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. (See, motivation is there.) Now listen: (11) For this is the message that (you) heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. (12) Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and (Abel the brother, works were righteousness.) Now, It tells you right here, It tells the Church the difference between righteousness and unrighteousness according to John. 44. Now, let’s go back to Genesis 4: and see this exactly, because there's no use in…because John said in the beginning that's the way it was. So, let's go back to the beginning, Genesis 4:2 (2) …And Abel was a keeper of sheep…Cain was a tiller of the ground. (They were opposite works.) (3) And in process of time it came to pass, that (the boys worshipped) Cain brought the fruit of the ground (as) an offering unto the LORD. (4) And Abel, brought the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to (Abel's) offering: (5) But unto Cain and to (Cain's) offering he had not respect. (He said, "Out of My sight, get away, I won't take it.) And Cain was very wroth, (You think you can’t get mad at God? Huh, this fellow was rip snorting mad at God.) and his countenance fell. Now notice what God said: (6) …Why (are you angry?) and why (has your) countenance fallen? (7) If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. Now listen: this translation is not the correct translation. The correct translation is from the Greek. Because remember, in the time of Christ the whole Bible was in Greek. This is the Septuagint. Now listen to what the Septuagint says: This doesn't make sense at all what you read here. You can't tell what it's all about. Let me get It from the Greek. Listen: 45. Now, hold your finger there and turn to 2 Timothy 2:15. …I could quote It, but I'm going to read It. Watch: (15) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, (Was Cain approved? No! He should have studied.) a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. What was it Cain failed to do? He failed to rightly divide the Word of truth. Is that right? Isn't that what It says here? Now, why did God say, "Thou hast offered right?" Because he did. You show me in the Bible where a wave-offering or the first fruit is not right? It is right. Israel was commanded to take the first fruit of the land and to wave it before God as a symbol of the Resurrection of Eternal Life. Is that, right? Then it's a right offering. Is that, right? Where did he go wrong? He put it before the blood. He divided wrong. Is that, right? Get your picture right now, because I'm not lying to you. I'm going to prove my point. Everything I teach you is on tape. Check me if I'm wrong. I know I'm not wrong. (See?) I wouldn't get up here preaching, if I was wrong. 46. Let's go to Hebrews 11:4. And let me prove it to you, the Septuagint is right. (4) By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, … Then, if Abel offered a more excellent sacrifice, Cain had to offer an excellent sacrifice. Let's look at that sacrifice. Bro. Branham said Abel had a revelation. Cain did not. Abel worshipped by revelation, Cain did not. Now watch: here comes this little man Abel. He hasn't got a sharp lovely knife to kill the lamb. He's got a piece of sharp stone, maybe flint he's made himself. Or maybe a volcano erupted, he's got led to a sharp piece of glass. Now, you know a little lamb that you're going to kill, he knows it. You got to throw the thing to the ground. You're not going to shear him, talking nice to him. You just grab him quickly and what does he do, he defecates on you. Urinates, and throws manure on you. You cut him across here, jabbing while he bleeds. Throws blood upon you. Then entrails spilling out. Stinking mess from head to foot. Then you put it on an altar of sacrifice and burn it. And you don't hold your nose either. Now, here comes Cain. Beautiful fruit. He picked the nicest pears, picked the nicest apples, picked the nicest plums. He had it all, isn't that beautiful? Said, "Boy, I want to tell you, that's excellent, hey, that's nice. I want to tell you, look how you worship God." Look, look how nice he does it. Why, why wouldn't just love to have a part with Cain, it's so beautiful. He's fornicating. He's committing spiritual adultery. He's in league with the devil. He's defying Almighty God. Why? 47. Because he's mis-divided this Word. He tried to worship and serve God apart from a Divine revelation. Like David when he got the cart. (See?) Everything the prophet taught, you can see from Genesis to Revelation. And it brings out here in this, the children of God are manifest, and children of the devil when the Word comes, when the Word is divided, and the truth is in the camp, they will never worship God according to truth. They'll turn from that truth every single time, and they'll got their own way, and they'll say, "Well, isn't beautiful." "Well, look at this sweet little lady preaching. Look at the souls… Why, see Bro. Vayle, (a man, a friend of mine told me) she's got the most satisfying healing ministry I've ever seen. Oh, I saw five cancer's healed. I saw this and saw that. And they say there's thirty thousand Catholic's been saved by her preaching." And then a prophet says, "Shut up and sit down, and you stay in the home." "Oh, Bro. Vayle, it's so sweet, it's so beautiful." 48. Okay Cain. Hello Cain. God bless you Cain. I'll try to take that back, because I'm not going to bless what God cursed. Now what happened? He hated his brother so frantically, because his brother stood for that truth. You know if he’d have had what he said he had Cain, he'd have just said, "Well, that holy roller," and walked off. But he said, "That dirty holy roller, I'll get him." Because he knew as Bro. Branham said about, when they got Balaam to go down and look at their hinder parts and say, "Well, look find out, go and find the dirt Balaam." Bro. Branham said, 'Balak said, 'Balaam, go on down there and find the dirt."' There isn't anybody that hasn't got dirt in his house. Well, God knows that's the truth. And so, old Balaam goes sneaking around the back to curse them. He thinks he'll get the dirt out there. He could, he could always find plenty of dirt in the camp. The Bible says, "Where's there no oxen in the crib, it's clean." [Prov 14:4] Well, as long as there's people you're going to have trouble. I don't care if saints or sinners you're going to have problems. Let's go down and see how dirty he is. (See?) Now, wouldn't you like nice with us. You don't have to shout, and dance and. jump up and down. You know, in other words, you can be real sedate, and real pretty and real nice. And you can be one of those real swell guys. Oh, how we have little homes for the women and the children. And how we got our little group going here to save the drug addicted, all of that. And then say, "That fellow, Branham." (phfft!) Yeah. Man, with a great ministry. 49. A friend of mine told me he sat in this meeting where Bro. Branham was, and this fellow with that great big ministry in New York, and all the papers written about him. He turned and said, "I've heard enough of that nonsense," and he walked out. Cain, Cain had an offering. Why, they said, "Why, (they said) look at that silly offering. That's kind of a dumb jerk anyway, he's killing that lamb and get full of manure and all doing it. Eeeh, phooey, eek, forget it. Now, why you just take those pretty fruits and all." Look at that wave offering brother/sister comes after death, not before. We've got to have a Passover. Misinterpreting that Word. Mis-division. Seeking to serve God apart from a Divine revelation brother/sister, is unrighteous in the sight of God. And no Bride ever does it. No Bride ever does it. She's absolutely one with the Word. Now listen, the Bible says, "Wherefore slew we him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous." [1 Jn 3:12] What was that righteous work of Abel? Rightly dividing the Word and going to God on a right divided Word. You say, "Bro. Vayle, I've done what everybody said, I've confessed every single one of my sins." You can confess your sins until the cows come home. Pardon the expression but you can. You can refrain from smoking, drinking, and beer, and anything else, you can be a model person, but if you're outside of that Word your sacrifice's vain. You have got to be in the Word of the hour. Now remember, the Word of the hour was a blood offering, the Passover, (so to speak) it was a blood offering and it was a wave offering. That was all there was to it, then go about your business. Till your farm, hoe your spuds, build your buildings. Like Bro. Branham said right now, "Stick with this Word, build your house, get married, raise your kids, have a business, do this." But, they're running around trying to do a million different things, with a million different ideas. Isn't it strange. Just too simple, somewhere down the road. (See?) 'God in Simplicity'. 50. Now, here is your evidence of identification with Jesus. And here is the evidence of righteousness, which is the Holy Ghost indwelling us, we are one with that Word. How many folk do you know that are tea-totallers? They said, "I never had a drink of wine in my life. And God is my judge, I'll never take wine at Communion." Isn't that strange, how people will out-God God? Why try to out-God God? It would be nice to get as far as God is, just don't try to outdo Him. There's only one way you can get as far as God is, and that is accept Jesus Christ as your Savior by being full of the Holy Ghost. And if you are, you'd be one with this Word. You won’t miss it. When the Word kept coming, you just go down the line with the Word. (See?) But Cain couldn't do it. 51. Now, let's keep, keeping on. Cain was a worker, a tiller of the soil. Abel was of faith. The Bible says he was. Abel divided the Word right, he served God according to revelation by the Spirit. And here is what Bro. Branham said when God gave him this inspiration in '62. "You can only serve God as you do and believe His…the servant, that God sends you." You can only serve God on earth as God's servants…that are sent on earth by divine inspiration, interpret the Word to you. Cain took the Word without a revelation, he interpreted It, (of course wrong) and he paid the price of death. Now notice, Abel had the Word right. Then he loved his brother, because he didn't even defend himself and he was killed. But see, it's the correct Word and then love. (See?) People try to build on love. Bro. Branham said, "Stay with the Word and love each other. And if the devil sends anybody amongst you to shoot you full of poison, pray for him and love him until he comes in, or gets out." But, he didn't say, "Love him, and forget the Word." He said, "Stay with the Word." Then he warned those who love the Word, "Don't clique and clan, as though you know the Word and your brother doesn't, you stay with the Word as you see It. But be sure you have love, so you don't down your brother." That's exactly what John was teaching here. (See?) 52. Now, see the picture, this is what the works of the devil are. The works of the devil misinterpreting the Word and teaching God's people to serve God thereby. Now, what did Balaam do? With the gift of the Holy Ghost he tried to go down to pervert the Word to get Israel to serve God through the perverted system. And he almost had him. Brother/sister he almost had the whole bunch of them. They were in there in physical fornication which types the spiritual, until Phinehas came by and killed two of them as a blood offering unto God; a sacrifice and God turned it down. The same thing that was perpetrated on Eve. He got Eve to attempt to believe God, and yet at the same time inspired her to disbelieve the Word, so that she thought that she could believe God while disbelieving His Word. Now, come on, how can you do that? (See?) 53. Now, and see how Cain hated his brother. Jesus said, "They will think they're doing Me a service by persecuting you." Now, let me ask you this question: did they hate Jesus for what He did? He said, "Tell me, for what good deed do you stone Me?" And they said, "For no good deed. [Jn 10:33] Look fellow, you can keep on raising the dead, there's a whole grave yard out there. I'd like to see my grandma and grandpappy again. You can multiply loaves and fishes, and produce weapons until we knock the Romans into the sea. But, you call Yourself the Son of God, we can’t listen to what You're saying." They were willing to identify themselves with all the goodies, in the sense of the materialistic. But, they refused to identify themselves with the real goodie, which was the Word. They turned their back on It. (See?) Now notice, both men offered, Cain and Abel. Now listen, both had faith in their revelation. But one man's revelation was wrong, and this manifests who is right. Now listen, how did they know in Abel's day who was right? The Pillar of Fire came down and burnt the offering. So, what about today? How do we know today? Thank God, the Word is not silent. 54. Let's go to 1 John 4:1, listen to It: (1) Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. The false prophet and the false spirit is one and the same thing. And remember, the false prophet has got false teachers. For that's what Peter said. Now, watch verse 6, listen: (6) We (said John) are of God: … Let's put that the way it should be written: (6) (I, said John and you with me who believe) are of God: (listen:) he that knoweth God… (hears me.) You say, "Boy, that guy's got a big mouth. How would you like to hear a preacher of the Word say, "I'll tell you one thing, if you hear me, you're of God." You say, "Bro. Vayle, nobody says that." You're wrong. Every Methodist, every Baptist, every Pentecostal, every single one says the same thing. But they got to the place now where they're so far from the truth, they've all got to just sort of get together and say, "Well, you're of God, but I'm a little more so. I'm a little more right, (see?) we're the gates of heaven." Now, John stood up and he said, "Listen, I want to tell you something, if you listen to me that's the evidence that you're of God. He that is not of God will not listen to me." (6) …Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. It says right here, "you can know whether you are following a false prophetic teaching, or a true spirit teaching depending on to whom you're listening." Now, that sure sounds strange. A false spirit is identified with a man, and a true spirit is identified with man, and they come out through the teaching. 55. Now, the funny thing is that the apostle Paul said the same thing. In 1 Corinthians 14:36-37, It says: (36) What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only? He said right there. Listen, "Who produced the Word of God? Did you produced It, or did I produce It?" Now listen: (37) If any man think himself to be a prophet, … If you're a part of the five-fold ministry, apostle, prophets, teacher, pastor, evangelist. Or spiritual. Lay member, got the Holy Ghost. You couldn't be part of the five-fold ministry and not have the Holy Ghost. But, you could sit in the pew and not have the Holy Ghost. "You got the Holy Ghost," he said. (37) …let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of (God). Paul said that… what did Peter say? "If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God." [1 Pet 4:11a] "What I'm telling you is 'Thus Saith the Lord'. Three people saying it. Three! "If you hear me, you're of God." Peter said, "Listen to Paul, he's of God. "Sure (he says) things that are hard to understand, but you listen to him, and don't you wrest it." 56. Now, listen to me brother/sister, this identification of listening to an authority in the church has never failed. It's been with us for two thousand years. I'll prove it to you. The Book of Revelation 1:10, John in a vision: (10) I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as a trumpet, Now listen, verse 12 (12) And I turned to see the voice… He did not turn to see the man, he turned to see the Voice. He was so absolutely taken up with that Voice. The Voice meant everything and he turned to It. Now, you know, you can't see a voice. So therefore, he was going to turn for a revelation. He was going to turn to know about It. He was going to turn to partake as it were. Now, what happened? (12) …And being turned, I saw (not the voice, not the man) I saw seven golden candlesticks; When he turned he saw the Bride, in Seven Church Ages. He saw Seven Church Ages, he saw a Bride when he turned for the Voice. In other words, there is only one place where you will hear the Voice of the Trumpet, and that is in the Bride, and no place else. Prove it. 57. Notice what He says. (13) And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, … In the Greek the word, 'one like unto the Son of man' means this, is one interpretation, 'one who says the same thing as'. "I turned (he said) for that Voice." Because the Voice caught him. Here's a shepherd, he's way over the hill. He wouldn't [Bro. Vayle whistles] "Hey." They pick their ears up, zoom, they run over the hill. They didn't see him. They saw the voice. Literally, they've seen the voice. Why? Because there was an understanding. Now, here's a fellow like him, he goes, "Woo-hoo. hoo-hoo." Is he asleep, or what? He doesn't even do that. You're not going hear it. You won't get it. But the shepherd, he's different. (See?) Now, he turned to see the Voice. And he sees… (now listen) …he's in the midst of the seven golden candle sticks, he's in the Bride for Seven Church Ages. 58. Now, in His right hand are seven stars. Now watch verse 20 (20) The mystery of the seven stars which (you saw) in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the...churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. Seven Church Ages is making up one Bride all gold. And in there is Christ Himself. What? By a Voice. Now remember, the Seven Stars are what? Seven men. And the word 'star' in the Greek is not only 'light holder', like it is in English, or a censor, but it is a pre-eminent one amongst the many just like him. In other words, here is a man, they're all men. But, one man like John said, "He that hears me, hears God. He that hears me is of God. Don't hear me you're not of God." Fellow says, "Shut up John, I'm a man like you are, I believe I've got the Holy Ghost. I spoke in tongues, I got a revelation." " Shut up and sit down, you're out of order. You have what I have?" "No! But I…" "Then sit down. I'm vindicated. I know what I'm talking about, you don't! The Word never came to you, It came to me!" That's what Paul said. He said, "Quiet. Women, you're not preaching. You can't say a word in that church, you go home. Talk to your husband. He can't talk, you call the pastor privately. Church Order. Set the church right in order." He said, "What, did the Word of God come out of you, or did It come to you?" Man, he slapped him down. He said, "I'm the authority I magnify mine office. I heard from God. I brought this Gospel. I'll never change It. God will never change It. And names will never change it. And he said, "Don't you dare ever change It, but I know you're going to." And he said like Peter, "I'll tell you why you're going to do it, because you want disciples to follow you and make merchandise of them." You leave this Word of God, you sound like a disciple of Christ. You're not a disciple of Christ, you're the other fellow's disciple. I'd tried to hammer this home wherever I go, and all I get is a kick in the teeth for it. (Yeah) A lot of places just want to kick me in the teeth. Because I say, "Listen, if I speak to you wrong, and you believe me, then you're Lee Vayle's disciple, you're not God's. But they don't believe that. (See?) Well, I can't help it what they believe. That's their business. 59. Let me show you about these messengers. [Revelation] 2: (1) Unto the (messenger) of the church (which is in) Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; He brings a message, and at the end He says: (7) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; … But, He's only talking to one man. One man gets the revelation. One man gets the Word. Then what does he do? He spreads It. And what do they do? Faithful men rise up and they take It. Every single Age, every single Age, God sends a messenger with a revelation of Jesus Christ in the Word for the day, and those that are to hear the Word. Now then, how are we going to identify? You identify in every Age with the messenger. What happened in the Catholic Age? Nine hundred years of deprivation and darkness. Finally, Luther rose up. What happened? They that heard Luther, and took that same Word, come out into everlasting life. And Luther went to seed. What happened then? The life goes on. Wesley took over. After Wesley, the Pentecostal's. And now at the end time, what? William Branham the vindicated prophet in Revelation 10:7, which is actually Revelation 3:14, the Seventh Church Age messenger brings the last revelation for the last day. And Bro. Branham categorically said, "Nothing outside of this Message will come to life." (See?) There you are. 60. The last Age God has promised a complete revelation of the Word of God, by the Seventh Church Age messenger. (7) But in the days of…the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, (trumpet, (see?) begins to sound) the mystery of God should be finished, as (God) hath declared (the good news of the Gospel, to his servants the prophets. The Gospel is absolutely wound up under the Message of the Seventh Church Age messenger. And you'll come by this, or leave. See, the rest are in the ground. They're Age is finished, they're gone. (See?) Was vindicated by the Pillar of Fire, just as the sacrifice was in Abel's day and Noah's day. The Pillar of Fire came down in vindication. Such demonstration as you could possibly, and never even ask God to show you, was in this man's ministry. No record in history begins to approximate what that man brought to our attention. 61. Look at Hebrews 6: let me show you. I'll read it again, another time, just quickly on this one. (4) For it is impossible for those who were once (for all) enlightened, (the last enlightenment) and have (listen, they can taste) the heavenly gift, (partake) of the Holy Ghost, (5) …(taste) the good word of God, (they can taste) the powers of the world to come, And yet the Bible says, the absolutely will fall away, and when they do you will never return them to repentance. Now listen, let me ask you this question: Could Cain get renewed to repentance, even though God rebuked him? No, he could not! He died, because he turned down the revealed Word. 62. Now, let me ask you another question: What about Esau? He sold his birth-right. What was the birth-right? The revealed Word, the promise of God. See, that's on Bro. Branham's tape, don't worry, I'll put it up. And he carefully sought it with tears. He could not repent. Why? Because he turned down the Word by which he worshipped God. Any worship of Almighty God that's apart from the revealed Word, is absolutely vain. "In vain do they worship Me, having for doctrine the tradition of man." [Mt 15:9] Then my brother, my sister what about those men and women who stand with that Word, and worship Almighty God. Then they've got a Mediator then, though they may sin, they've got a Mediator. As you see, when you're one with that Word, you don't need a Mediator. Because herein is a difference between those that are Bride and those that aren't. Bro. Branham said, "Give them the Word test." What is that Word test? Where do you stand with the Message of the hour? (See?) I'm building your faith up tonight brother/sister. If you go back on this, well you've got no place to go. You say, "Bro. Vayle, what if some other great thing comes along?" Remember the first is the original. "What if somebody else comes along and says, 'letter for letter'?" Oh, I think that pretty nice if he does. But it better be letter for letter. It's got to be Word by Word. (See?) 63. Now, let me show you something here: It says here in Hebrews 6: "Even though they are enlightened, (listen) they tasted, they partake, literally, enter in the heavenly gift. They are made partakers of the Holy Ghost, It falls on them, anoints them. Tongues, signs, wonders, miracles; and they taste the powers of the world to come." [Heb 6:4-5] Literally, see demonstrated, actually, what lies ahead in the Millennium, and the Resurrection. Bro. Branham told us by vision, by dreams, by the things of the gift. Showed it. What man do you know that can starts telling the dream? He'd say, "Hold it right there, I'll tell you the dream, you're telling it wrong." And interpret it to you. You know there was no man. You know that William Branham absolutely revealed the Son of man. Said, "God was revealed in human flesh." In other words, by a channel. William Branham stood there and we saw God. We did not see a man. Because if you just saw a man, you saw wrong. You had to see God, by the very words the man spoke coming into existence, right there. 64. And when those words were created, 'Thus saith the Lord' and they came to pass. My brother, my sister, that is far greater than if I were to say, "Let there be a lamp there, " and a lamp came. Because that's for nothing. But when you see that Kingdom of God manifest before your eyes like we did see, we were in the Presence of God. Sure, because God did it. That's the only part your eyes can see of Him. Now, It says, "When they fall away, they cannot be renewed to repentance. They have put as Bro. Branham said, "To make themselves a bond slave." They put their ear to the door, and the devil came by and punched that ear, and they'll never hear again. Exactly right? Why? Because they went back to bondage. They went back to the vomit. They went back to the wallow. Oh, sure they were cleaned up. Sure, absolutely, but they're still wrong. 65. Now, let's go to 2 Thessalonians 2: (again) and see how it’s turned down. (10) …they received not the love of the truth, … They don't have any love for the truth. Take a lot of love for power. They got a lot of love for their creeds and dogmas. But they don't love the truth at the end time, when Bro. Branham raised it, they turned it down. What does God say? (11) …for this cause (I’ll) … send (a) strong delusion, … That I may be justified in damning them. Because here it was, I've laid it out. They turned It down. And now they're going to be judged. Just like Cain. Notice: It says here: (12) …(they) had pleasure in unrighteousness. Just like Cain, he took his pleasure in unrighteousness. What was the pleasure in unrighteousness? It was worshipping and serve God apart from the revealed Word of the hour. Because the Word was revealed. Because God said, "Listen, Abel I have accepted, go and take the lamb and kill him like I told you." And Cain said, "Listen, Your Word says, "I am to offer the first-fruit. I choose the first-fruit." The Baptist say, "The Bible says, "Eternal security I see it." The Methodist say, "Bless God, (It says) falling away, I choose it." The Presbyterian say, "You're baptized with the Holy Ghost when you first believe." And then you get baptized in water that shows that you've got It. And the Pentecostals say, "Ain't no such a thing, you speak with tongues to get It." And they go back and forth, and back and forth in the Word, to please and to serve God. And they take pleasure in their unrighteousness, because the vindicated prophet brought us the truth. There you are. 66. And you know what? They're happy. You can't tell them anything. Oh, they love the Lord, they praise God, they sing, they laugh, they get what they call 'holy laughter'. Remember, when we were in Pentecost years ago, we went through all these things, we thought we were, but, thank God with little babies, they finally grew up. We'd get there and get the chuckles and the giggles and the mirth and the laughs, and pretty soon running and dancing, float around, you know. Bro. Branham said, "You're full of sensations, you haven't got the Holy Ghost." It's when you got the faith, when you got the Word, when you got the Holy Ghost. (See?) Sure. My, my, my, all the sensations all these things. Why they got, say, great healing campaigns Why that's nothing. If I really believe with all my heart, I'd walk and touch that door knob, I'd get healed. You can get a witch doctor. They believe they're touching God, they get healed. Sure, you can phone 'Silent Unity', they get healed by the hundreds of thousands, in Silent Unity out there in out there in Kansas City, Missouri. They get healings you wouldn't believe possible, and they deny the very virgin birth of Jesus Christ and the shed Blood. Sure. (12) … (they take) pleasure in unrighteousness. 67. You know what this Bible says when they do that? It said, "God send them a strong delusion." He said, "Alright, I'll make the spirits so close, (He said) just so close, (He said) they'll be doing the same thing. They'll be acting just alike, (He said) one fellow turned the cheek, the other turned the cheek." He said, "One give to the poor, they'll give to the poor." He said, "They'll go to church on Sunday, they'll tithe they'll offer." He said, "They'll give their lives." He said, "You won't tell them apart at all, except for one thing, there's a group of people talking a certain way, and they talk the way the prophet talked. And nobody but them talked that certain way." And He said, "When I make my jewels, that's when we’re going. Now, the others are talking Bible too. Now, don't think they're not. Oh, they're talking Bible, yes, they are, because the Bible lets us know they're going to talk Bible. Now listen, what does He said in Malachi? He said, "In that day, (He said) when they turn back, (He said) I'll turn them and restore them, as a man restores his servant." Now then, how can you be a restored servant of Almighty God, unless you are serving according to that Word? Can't do it. Just like Cain, they take pleasure in unrighteousness. Our pleasure is in God the Word. 68. We are not offended by serpent seed. We are not offended by the fact there is one God. We are not offended by the fact that women cannot cut their hair, must not wear slacks and can't go preaching. We are not offended that the men must take their authority and become heads of the house and do that which is right. We're not offended by those things, we're edified. Our lives are bound to Christ by the Word. Wherein their lives in the world of the ungodly, are bound by creeds and dogmas, to which at the end time God has given miracles, signs and wonders to make them believe the lie. That's where there shall arise false Christ's, even lying prophets, who shall do great signs and wonders, so that all but the Very Elect will be deceived. For many shall come in that day and say, "Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy Name, and in Thy Name cast out devils. In Thy Name done the works. Then will I profess, I never knew you, depart from Me, you that work iniquity." [Mt 7:22-23] Now, here's your question, can you tell righteousness from wickedness? Can you? There's this little old lady preacher I told you about. They claim she's won thirty thousand souls for Catholicism, … I don't know. I won't argue about that, that's taking it right in the kingdom. The Word went out, the Word did it. They're disobedient to a church. "Oh, what a price you pay to go pray to go preaching." What a price she'll pay if she has gone preaching. All these people coming, mighty miracles. "Bless God, that's the way it should be, great wonderful miracles, hallelujah." 69. Now listen, that's all of God. Every miracle done in Jesus' Name is absolutely of God, God did it. And He said, "That's iniquity." Where the Pentecostal's stand and listen now. "Don't you dare tell me that that's iniquity." The Bible said, …why do you like the Bible? "Well, I'll tell you what it was, they once had the Holy Ghost, but they leaked out.” Going to. No truth in it. All perversion. Do you know the difference today from righteousness and wickedness it's so close? Can you tell there's only one way that you're not with it? Can you tell there's only one way to tell righteousness, and that is are you interpreting and serving God according to this Word as revealed by the Voice of God through the Seven Church Ages? And now in our Age the Voice comes by the prophet William Branham? Because the Pillar of Fire descended from Heaven, "and He that had that little Book open, put one foot on the land, and one on the sea, and cried with a loud voice as when a lion roars, and the seven thunders came forth which had been sealed up." And in [Revelation] 22: It says, "Don't seal up the Book." So, that between Revelation 10: and 22: the Book becomes unsealed. You say, "Well, I don't know if I'm going to have to go along with this Message. You go all the way along. All the way along. 70. Church order. What about church order? We have a church meeting, we vote. Where we vote, we got to stand with our vote. If that meeting is rigged, stand up and face the people that rigged it. Heard of one just recently, there was going to be a vote in a certain place in Canada. I heard they called in a lot of people that hadn't been there for years. I said, "Those people not been there for years?" They said, "No, Bro. Vayle." I said, "Then they're not tithe payers? Only tithes payers have that vote." It's your duty to stand up in that meeting and decry that thing and lay it down, because the minute that vote goes a wrong way. If it goes anyway, the Holy Spirit's voice is in the majority, and you have got to abide by it. And if that thing is stacked or pulled, although you walk away, you should stand on your high leg and say, "No! I refuse to cast a vote in the face of what's going on, this meeting is ours and ours alone." I tell you, you've got to go all the way in this Message. Church order is part of the Seven Seals. Going to church is part of the Seven Seals. Five-fold ministry is part of the Seven Seals. 71. Ephesians 4: says, that five-fold revelation has got to be here to bring that Bride to perfection when she meets that Head, it's going to be as a five-fold ministry. Where do those people stand today that don't believe in it? What about the prophet? The prophet's own son, Joseph, he's called a prophet. Right? The father, William Branham said in the Holy Ghost, "You are a prophet." Now, next year he's seventeen years, is that right? And wasn't Joseph seventeen, when his ministry started? Now, I suppose if Joseph had the ministry next year, and Joseph is a five-fold ministry prophet, where's the other four? Don't go running to Joseph if you cut the other four. You done took from the Word. We're not here to fool. Time's running out, it's running out fast. Who knows righteous and wickedness? People say, "I'm in this Message." I know, do you know? Do we know, where do we stand if we know? Are we doing what the prophet said? Or a far cry from it? I think it's time to repent, which in my books means a change of mind. Have some godly sorrow, and get down to business. 72. Now listen, this is the case of the end time. They do not know righteousness from wickedness. And they could not know, and we did not know until the prophet came. What was driving me crazy? This very question: men operating gifts and living like the devil. Men with great crowds, and they're one cry was money. Every ad in the paper, "signs, wonders, miracles." Until I finally said, "When you go, all you hear is dollar signs, and then you wonder where the miracles are." And that's your signs, wonders and miracles. But now we know. We know that there is no such things as a Bride who does not hear the Voice of God in every Age, to the minister that God sends within this Age was Elijah the prophet, who brought us the full revelation. And now we worship God according to the revealed Word. And every time we read this Book we read It, because we know the Message. We are not of those men who say, "Let's open the Bible, put the 'Spoken Word' down."We are those who say, "Pick the 'Spoken Word' up, and then read your Bible." You say, "Why?" Because that's what John the Baptist did. That's what Jesus did. That's what Paul did. That's what Luther did. That's what everybody does. It's a messenger. And that's how every sheep gets his food. Is because he knows the paths beside the still waters where the green grass is. And there is only one guide, my brother, my sister, and that's Jesus in those Seven Church Ages by the Seven Church messengers. 73. Righteousness and wickedness, you say he closes with the people worshipping the devil, literally end up in an antichrist system, because they turned down the Word, which is the only way you can serve God and worship Him, because all other else is vain. We alone, we alone are the one who have been given the right brother/sister, to eat of the Tree of Life. What a tremendous thing. What a tremendous… this is not just word knowledge I'm talking about now. I mean an actual revelation of God’s Word, …not little clichés, and people running around. No! I mean, sticking with this Word tonight, as God knows my heart I tried to do, and I haven't said one word tonight to make you try to believe Lee Vayle to be one of my friends, or follow me. I've tried to show you, go hold to that Message and stay there. Go there, brother/sister, because It says in Joel, "I have given you this food for your righteousness." And the prophet said, "It's stored up, I'm here to clothe a Bride." (Yeah) But at the wedding supper, when the man got on, he didn't have the outer garment. In other words, that inner Word wasn't there to produce the relationship to even stand with that word tonight. 74. Don't worry if you don't understand it at all. And if you can't produce it all, that might be something to be glad about. I'm talking about gifts and ministries now. Just be happy that you know it. Be happy if you're doing your best to promote harmony and love amongst the brethren. That you're doing your best to agree with. Not mentally, but with a spirit of good feeling toward those who disagree, while you hold your ground, and go the way that God led you. Let them go their way. I've got my difference with people, but I want to tell you there's one thing that brings peace in your heart, that you're doing a little bit in mine now after all these years of fussing. Because I've seen so many things I didn't want to see, and had so many things done around me that I abhor. I finally said, "Look, He's doing what he wants to do, why should I stop him? I'm doing what I want to do, and He's not trying to stop me." You know, that may not be the highest thing in this life, but for one of us it's got to be. Because if you're right in the Word, or I'm right in that Word and we have that attitude there's going to be a Bride go, and we're not going to miss it. Because we're not confused any longer between righteousness and wickedness, we’re not. We're not trying to say we're God's servants living under creeds and dogmas. We're not trying to serve Him under a system of creeds, organization and those things which are foisted upon us. We're here for one thing, to feed on this Living Word. And then by the grace of God establish our hearts with that grace that we can do our best to live. That's the way we ought to live before God and before mankind. Now, brother/sister, we're the only one to follow this, I don't see us here. I mean those of us who have known and taken of this Tree, we know, we're not in darkness any longer. The Light has risen, the Light has come back. And remember the Light shines upon the first-fruit. God's got some choice fruits coming, may we be a part of It. The Lord bless you, shall we rise then be dismissed and leave this part of the service. Gracious Eternal Father, it's been good to be here with Your people, we enjoyed being with them. Of course, Lord, that goes without saying because we love them. And it's always such a joy to be with them here in Chicago. Don't see them very often, but when we see them we know there's something special about this place. I don't remember, but I think someone said Your prophet came here about seventeen times, making a record. Lord, it's kind of peculiar, this going to the place, You went to so often. So, little seems to come out of, and yet when You went to Jerusalem, You were also living in Nazareth a little while, being a get deal also in Bethany, how much came out of it? They said, "Can there be any good thing come of Nazareth? So, Lord, we won't say this about Chicago, can any good thing come out of it? Because we know that the prophet saw in a vision there was a Bride here. And, Lord, we pray for each member, each one that's endeavoring to be a part of that Bride. Staying with that Word, believing every Word, not doubting one bit if It. No matter what anybody said, what anybody thinks. We just don't stumble over a thing, we just let it be. God will work it out, because we had 'Thus Saith the Lord', and the Words of a prophet are the thoughts of God. O God, how we'd all love to just be in that place where he was with revelation. It's Your Spirit would pour within us the understanding and we’d rejoice with that joy unspeakable, the marvelous depth the reality of God through the revelation of the Word. And, Lord, I know we have it in measure, and if we don't get it all here, we're going to get it all there. But, we know the greatest thing in the world is this: in this end time where everybody 'Thou Saith, Thou Saith, Thou Saith. There's group of people that You're listening to, and You're writing a Book of remembrance about them. And they'll be Yours at the Mount Zion showdown, because they fear Your Name, and they speak often one to another, and it's always about this Message. God, cleanse our hearts and especially our tongues from talking about anything but it. Because we know that while talking about it, we could talk about them. And that's not right. Help us, Lord Jesus, to refrain, the speaking about anything unless it's in an attitude of prayer. We're doing in prayer. And then just keep this Word always in our mouths. As You said, "Bind it upon your wrists, and before your eyes to make frontlets." Because this is what we become. God bless each one tonight, Lord, let it be upon each one the spirit of grace and humility, and sweetness in Jesus Christ. Another determination fostered and augmented by the Holy Ghost. The talk, You want us to talk, and to live as You want us to live, and to help as You want us to help. Serve as You want us to serve, that this life might be truly the Spirit of Christ lived out in us. Temples of the Holy Ghost. We ask this tonight, Lord, sobriety, now help us to believe it can be done. Now, unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be all power and honor and glory, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
