Resurrection Proves His Death # 2 Bro. Lee Vayle - July 14, 1976 It's nice to be back again tonight and to continue the message from this morning when we saw that the Lord Jesus had a vindicated ministry proving Who He was. Of course they crucified and killed Him. And then God raised Him, and the same ministry came back to prove that He was alive, that He was risen, and that He indeed accomplished the people's redemption. God working in a threefold manner. Now, we want to continue tonight the same thought, but going much further and before we do shall we bow our heads in prayer. Kind Heavenly Father, we just approach Thy Throne of grace and mercy again in this hour of our needs. We're a needy people, Lord, and we need the revelation of Thy Word, because we believe that out of revelation there comes a strength of Life that's going to carry us through. So, we just pray for that, that we'll be so one with that Word, Lord, we'll be the Living Word Itself. And we know that can only happen by the Holy Spirit revealing truth within us. Now, we want to see what is here before us tonight and realize the hour in which we live. Because this will show us, we just ask You to grant these mercies to us in Jesus' Name. Amen. 1. Now, going on with proving by His Resurrection what Christ accomplished in His death, we're going to start reading in the Book of Acts 2: and then Acts 3: just about what we did this morning but a more extensive reading. Beginning in Acts 3: 22. (22) (You) men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as (you) yourselves also know: (23) Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, (you) have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: (24) Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. (25) For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: (26) Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: (27) Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. (28) Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance. (29) Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. (30) Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; (31) He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. (32) This Jesus hath God raised, whereof we all are witnesses. 2. And we go to Acts 3: and we read beginning at verse 9, concerning the healing of the man at the gate Beautiful. Beautiful gate. (9) And all the people saw him walking and praising God: (10) And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him. I guess they figured that the minute Jesus was gone the ministry went with Him. (11) And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering. (12) And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or look so earnestly on us, as though our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk? (13) The God of Abraham, of Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom (you) delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go. (14) But (you) denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; (15) And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses. (16) And (Jesus') name through faith in (Jesus') name hath made this man strong, whom (you) see and know: yea, the faith which is by (Jesus) hath given this (man this) perfect soundness in the presence of you all. (17) And now, brethren, I (know) that through ignorance (you) did it, as did also your rulers. (18) But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled. (19) (Now, because of that) repent (you) therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out,… Now, these people needed a change of mind. And the change of mind lay in the fact of a proven revelation. And when the Scripture was proven, what the true revelation was, then they would take it into their minds, and this would bring about the understanding then, that I must be baptized for the remission of my sins. Because this is the way they are remitted. 3. Now, we're well aware that Israel could not, because they were blinded and would not by refusing to listen, (because they wouldn't listen) therefore they never did identify Jesus as the fulfillment of Isaiah 53. They categorically refused any thought of a human sacrifice as the means of atonement for sin, because they misunderstood the Scripture. They thought that this was not possible, because a human sacrifice was forbidden of the people. And then of course, they misread what was concerning that in the law and the prophets. They refused to accept any doctrine of a suffering Messiah, believing rather, that Israel was suffering because of their disobedience to God. And they would not countenance His revelation of what the kingdom truly was, which was not of this world. They did not understand the faith of Abraham, which you will find looked for a resurrection, which looked for a New Jerusalem. They simply didn't have it. They wanted a material kingdom, and they thought someone like David would come, and they with him would rule the world. What their concept of the resurrection was, (because they believed it) I really don't know, but it was certainly misplaced. 4. Now, many people like Nicodemus who recognized the supernatural ministry of Jesus that it was absolutely ordained of Almighty God. But Israel under their priesthood refused to accept this ministry as the proof that Jesus was the Messiah. See, they had their own ideas, their own understanding, their own interpretation, and this did not fit in. And so they said, "Well, it's how we believe it, it's not what He said, He's got to be wrong." Now, this has always been the spirit of every Age of course. Now, Jesus implored them to believe the works as a starting point. To believe the works as a starting point, start looking and say, "What is this all about, what is going on here? What is happening, what is this for?" Not to simply accept it as a phenomena, it's not the point, but to take it back to Scripture. He implored them to believe the works, and then search the Scriptures to find, (and they would have found if they would have looked) find indeed, that He was fulfilling the Word, and that He was their Messiah. But they refused Him, and they killed Him. 5. And now after Pentecost with the First Church Age, we see the very earthly ministry of Christ once again amongst the people. And this time It is proving the Resurrection of Jesus from the dead. Which in turn was proving that He was the Redeemer. Now, you must remember redemption covers the whole gamut. It covers everything as we'll see. And so Peter stresses as well as do all the others, that Jesus was indeed the Christ, that He was the Messiah ordained of God. That He died exactly as He interpreted the Scripture concerning Himself and all the law and the prophets. And that He arose from that God ordained death, just as He said He would. And He showed them, (Peter showed them) that the miracle ministry in the Bride now manifest among the people, was proving that Jesus was alive from that death. And that It was He Himself alive, Who is now performing in His Resurrection the same works which He did before His death. 6. He's a perfect circle. Works proved Who He was, point to His death, His Resurrection proven by the very works, pointing back to Who He was. See, just like a circle, no breaks. All the time proving. Never, ever changing from the proof. And this in turn was proving that Jesus as Messiah had to die according to the Scripture, and that in His death, God accomplished His plan for redemption. (See?) That's what we must remember. Thus we see, the great Resurrection ministry of Jesus which proves that He arose, is actually God's verification that Jesus died according to the Scripture, and fulfilled the perfect plan of His redemption for Israel and the Gentiles. Now, I keep telling you this, and it's important, because this is what we got to see. We have to see that. (See?) Now, therefore Christ's Resurrection when proven, is Itself the guarantee of the entire Word of God having been fulfilled, being fulfilled, and yet to be fulfilled concerning out redemption. Do you follow me? That's not a play on words, I'm not being foolish or repetitious. I'm telling you something which is right here in Scripture. And if you read what Peter said, it's just absolutely there. He's not saying anything else. He's just telling them flat, that this is it. This is God's proving that this is His redemption now revealed to you, do you want it? (See?) 7. The Resurrection proven, proves this to be so. (See?) Now, read again, read again what I read. Just read Acts 2 and Acts 3. See, don't read It with your minds cluttered what your formally read. Open your minds up, and read what's written. (See?) Not just 'hallelujah Jesus rose, glory to God'. That's wonderful, so It is, but that's not it. (See?) Now, if God had not raised Jesus, then Jesus wouldn't not have been the true Redeemer Messiah. But God raised Him and proved Him to be the Savior of the world. All claims of God therefore have been met in Christ concerning our redemption. (See?) Now, so Peter said, "The supernatural manifestation of the Holy Ghost is the proof that God raised that Man Christ Jesus Whom you killed." This proves His death was scriptural, and that God accepted that death, and nothing else. Nothing else, accepted that death. Whatever that death means, whatever that death is, that's it. (Right?) 8. Now, this in turn proves Jesus was that One Who should come and He died as He said He would according to the will of God as shown in Scripture. In other words, the purpose of God is all bound up in Jesus' death. (See?) That's the focal point. Now, you can realize how strong that was to the Jews. Because you must understand they were knowledgeable people. Very knowledgeable. They had Scripture, if fact they were the only ones that had It. They were the only ones that God had ordained. The only ones that God looked to. No place in all the world could possibly have had Christ, could possibly have had God. It was Israel alone in Palestine. So, it sounds as though Peter might be saying this: "Listen Jews, this man died according to the Scripture. Here is the proof that He died. So in Him are the Scriptures fulfilled that you are longing to see fulfilled for your redemption." Now, that's exactly true. The proof of His Resurrection, the manifestation of the ministry I spoke of in Jesus' day and in our day, is the actual proof, God bending backwards. God showing that in Him are the Scripture fulfilled that we are longing to see fulfilled for our redemption. And remember, redemption covers more than sins forgiven, it covers the whole gamut of fallen creation. Now, so Peter says, "Will you accept His death for you as based on this present proof, and receive your redemption? Will you receive your promised redemption as revealed according to a vindicated Word, and no other word, but vindicated Word?" Now, very few did accept His death, even when the Resurrection proved It out. 9. Now notice, today we are in the midst of the very same thing as shown in Luke 17:26-30, Acts 3:19-26, and Deuteronomy 18. So, we go to Luke 17:26-30, (we're all familiar with It.) Now, this is concerning His Second Coming. (26) And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. Now, Noah does not come back, and Jesus does not come back, but the days are parallel. And the days are not only parallel in sin and unbelief, but they are supposed to be and are parallel according to the men themselves as ministries. So therefore, the very ministries, or the experience of Jesus Christ once more comes back to this earth as in the days of Noah. Now, let's face it brother/sister, God has said, "When the enemy comes in like a flood, He'll raise up a standard." [Isa 59:19] We could not have simply the days of Noah come upon us and not have God raise up a standard. And what is that standard? It is always the Word of God revealed correctly. Nothing else, nothing else. But vindicated Word proves we have the right revelation. So, there has to be…Noah was a prophet , and the prophet came in a terrible day when the world must be destroyed, because all sin came up before God. And so at the end time all sin comes up before God. Absolutely that wickedness must come to a full head. So therefore, those days are here. And when those days are here, we're going to have a prophet who builds us an ark according to the Word to get us out of it. And the vindication is not an ark standing here, but a vindication of the miracle ministry of Jesus Christ proving this is that 'Ark', this is that 'Word', this is that 'Safety' that we are to come into. 10. Now, (27) They did eat, they drank, they married wives, (gave)in marriage, (and we know that's one of the signs) until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. And so, there's that going on today right in our midst, until the Word of God is finally fulfilled, and every Word member is knitted together in that Bride, and then she's taken out of the world, and then every else is destroyed. (28) Likewise in the days of Lot; they (ate), they drank, they bought, they sold, (and so on.) (29) But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone (out of) heaven,… Now, we know that Bro. Branham showed us that. What was in the days of Lot? Terrible, terrible, terrible perversion. Absolutely it was about the most rotten condition the world's ever see. Immorality, in fact there's a book of…I think it's Jasher, on them, you can still buy it somewhere. And it seems the more authentic one of the various Jasher books that are floating around. 11. And in there the book categorically tells us there were three terrible things, that happen on the earth in the days just before Sodom was destroyed. One, of course was wanton killing. There never was an age like this for sheer wanton killings, until even the people arising up against the judges, let teenagers go and roam around and kill anybody they want. The victims don't matter, but the little teenagers God bless them, because they had a bad dream, where momma, and papa said, "Don't do it son." Of all the filth I have ever heard. It the punishment doesn't fit the crime, forget it, we're gone. There's only one thing going to face this earth, and that's anarchy. Don't worry, anarchy, if justice don't do something, anarchy will. And it has to be, because this is an age of anarchy Laodicea. Never forget, we have two spirits. Nicholaitism, which is somebody trying to take control, and anarchy where people want to take over. And you're going to have it out before it's over. The second rotten thing: was not just wanton killing, but the second thing was the birth control, pill by oral means, the oral birth control pill. The third thing was homosexuality. You've got the same things right here. We are living in a three-fold rotten age. And we're never going to lick it, we got to get out of it. Remember, we're never going to lick it. If I were a world dictator, I know in my heart I would have to kill ninety-nine percent of all the people, maybe including myself. Well, God is just going to take the righteous out and destroy the rest. 12. Let's face it, we're finished. Sodom and Gomorrah, but that's not everything, God raises a standard. What was the standard at the end time…at that time? God sent Himself in a human form, with two witnesses. God stayed with the Elect, which was Abraham to show him the hour of the son, which they would produce by Promise. Christ in a Bride, which we'll see this end time. The Bride must produce this Son. In other words, He's got to come back to her. And then we saw the two witnesses down in the world. And there you see the wise virgin and the foolish virgin, you see the difference. One will come out under tribulation and they'll die for it, the others will miss the tribulation. Remember, that is 'Thus saith the Lord'. And by the way, that is the Rapture being a revelation. You know, so many people quote, quote, quote, they quote any old way they want it, just terrible. And somebody ran across a quote, Bro. Branham said, "The Rapture is a revelation." Why it even boggled my mind. And when I read it, it even boggled more. Until one day without even attempting to read that, suddenly saw that that great revelation, the Rapture revelation was, that there is a Rapture before the tribulation. So, let's get rid of this mind boggling stuff, you know. It's in simplicity 13. Well, anyway we see here that the revelation is given. And in this revelation of the Word, Abraham knows the hour in which he is. (See?) And God shows him that he is one with Him, in His confidences that they are together. And therefore, then God shows us at this end time by Him Coming in the form of a human being. The Word of God in an individual. And He lets us into the secret, that this is that hour that the Son Appears on earth, the Son of man Appears on earth, not in heaven, which we'll see, He's revealed. And then He's going to fear as we see Him in His physical form coming forth. And all this indicates the hour in which we live. Now listen, It says here in verse 30, and: (30) (And) even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. Now, He's not revealed in heaven, and He's not revealed from heaven. He's revealed on earth. The Son of man is revealed again. Now, how was He revealed? He was revealed in His Resurrection proven, doing the same things that He did before, showing Who He was and is, and is to Come. Now, He's doing It again. He's doing It again, and it's the miracle ministry that's vindicating Him, that He is that One. And remember, it's in the Bride. And it's in the Bride by the end time prophet. Now, that takes care of that, because it would take too long otherwise. 14. Now, let's go to Acts 3: once more. It's too bad we just don't have time to take one whole night on this. Now, notice It says, (19) Repent (you) therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, (now, It says) times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. (20) And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was (ordained) unto you: He was, He came by Israel. Now, He's going to sent the same One that you killed that He raised up, send Him back in flesh. But He cannot come back… (21) …the heaven must receive (him and retain him) until the times of (restoration) of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. And you saw how that was done. Jesus in His Resurrection revealed fully to the Bride absolutely concerning Him in redemption. Nailed them right into it. Opened their eyes, literally brow beat them, accused them, "fools and slow of heart, when are you going to understand this." Now, the very same thing happened today again. There has got to be a prophet in whose mouth, it becomes a mouth of every single prophet that ever was. And the first prophet in the Garden of Eden was God Himself, and that's the last prophet, God Himself. In fact, there's only one Prophet, and that's the Holy Ghost. Anything else you call a prophet is merely a little skin out here, a little bone. And the Word of God coming in it. But It's the Holy Ghost in the prophet, It is still God. And now at the end time that this prophet raised up, he is going to have the ministry of Moses, the ministry of Jesus, the ministry of Samuel, the ministry of Elijah. All rolled in one, and we're going to see us another one yet. We'll see a fifth one, for grace. Four for deliverance, and five by grace. Jesus, Moses, Elijah, Samuel, everyone rolled in there and this end time one. 15. And He's going to take all spoken by the mouth of the prophet, and what's It going to do? It's going to be a complete parallel to the first time. Which is going to show forth Him the Redeemer. This time raised up to the Gentiles. Because He never come to the Gentiles. And remember, He redeems Israel and the Gentiles, because of everyone in Abraham. And remember, Abraham was a Hebrew, he was not a Jew. (See?) Now, every single one, "In thee shall all nations of the earth be blessed." [Gen 22:18] And in Deuteronomy we showed you two prophets sent forth, one Jesus who never said, 'Thus saith the Lord'. He said, "Verily, I say unto you." But the prophet that you got to watch out for is a man with 'Thus saith the Lord'. And he's the one that you hear, he's the one that you fear. And when he comes and the people turn him down, then the Sixth Seal, breaks, destruction, destruction, destruction and all over to the Millennium. Now, (see?) simple as ABC, that we've been witness to it, we're not fooling ourselves. 16. Now, the Resurrection miracle ministry of Jesus based on 'Thus saith the Lord' once again, and this time to the Gentiles, prove it is, Who is the Redeemer. Proves the Scripture God's faithfulness, because remember, He's a faithful witness all the way through. It' proves that He died, and we know that His death accomplished perfect redemption before God, by the fact that God raised Him and is manifesting Him to us. Now, God accepted the sacrifice of Jesus for the sins of the world according to the Bible, at John 3:16. And in this day the whole history of redemption was and is laid bare. That's right, because Jesus categorically took everything in the path that pointed to every type and shadow, He brought right up to the present and showed the future, what was left. The same thing happens today. And this time, it is almost exclusively history, because the mouth of all the prophets in time is wound up. Now, but the church world refuses it, they will not have it, they have put out the Son of God. They have put Him out of the church, and "crucified to themselves the Son of God afresh." [Heb 6:6] Now, we won't go with that any further, we did it this morning. But I want to refresh our minds and add a little bit. But we want to try to see the perfect redemption that lies in the proven sacrificial death, which death was by the shedding of the Blood of Jesus' through crucifixion. And we have to know what that is all about. We want to see what is ours because He died. We want to see what His death has done for us, because He has proven it to us this hour. 17. Now, first of all we're going to start in Hebrews 9. Now, this is going to be our …?... And we're going to read verses 15-17, now listen: (15) And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. Now remember, the very first testament was not the law. It was back in the Garden of Eden, that's where the flunking all took place and sin came in. Never came under the law. Law only proved the power of sin. The culpability of the elect who were fallen sons. It goes back. Now listen: For the redemption of the transgressions they were under the first covenant. "That they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance." Now, watch the word 'inheritance'. (16) For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. (17) For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. Now, the word that we are examining first is the word 'testament'. Now listen, under no condition can it be translated as covenant in the English sense of the word. In Bible sense it could be, but in the English sense it cannot be called a 'covenant'. For a covenant is an agreement, or a contract that is carried out by two or more living parties. Verse 16 shows that this is not so. For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of a testator. If there is a testament somebody has got to die. 18. What is it? It is exactly as stated in the book. Where there is a will, a legal instrument for the disposition of a man's accumulated goods, where there is a will, the promise of an inheritance, the promise of a legacy, the living possessor, or provider of that legacy must first die. I repeat, the simple as ABC, there is really nothing to understanding this Scripture. Where there is a will, the promise of an inheritance, the promise of a legacy, something laid up in store which must be disposed of, then the provider the one who has it laid up must die, or the legacy can never be given. Now, that's exactly what It says. So, here we learn what Israel refused to learn. The death of Christ is only, only given means, or way to bring the promise Word of God concerning our inheritance, or redemption into actual and demonstrated effect. Man possessing God's legacy, or fortune, or kingdom which he once had depends on Christ Who is the Blood of God dying. And in His death bequeathing everything, or bequeathing that legacy to us, and insuring its allocation to us. 19. Now, this is simple as ABC, it's nothing but a human will. A man comes back to America, he might have been a poor downtrodden immigrant from Europe having nothing. But he labors, he struggles, he marries, he has children. But by sure dent of perseveran, a hard labor, he begins to accumulating, accumulating, accumulating. And one day he has a great estate, and he says, I'm going to leave that to my children. And so he leaves it to the children. Now, the only way the goods can pass from the father to the children is that he dies, because the father owns it. And so therefore, the father dies and it's given to the children. Now, this is exactly what we see in the Bible. (See?) Jesus dies, and His Resurrection proves that He died. So therefore, we know that His Words are correct when He said, "Fear not little flock, it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." [Lk 12:32] Even as He said, "The meek shall inherit the earth." [Mt 5:5] (See?) The kingdom is going to be given to them. And the Scripture tells you here how it is done. It's in a legacy, it's in a will. It's an inheritance, it's God's purpose that we get the inheritance. (See?) And Jesus dies in order to see that we get it. So, there it is. 20. And by the way, this shows us what grace is all about. (See?) It is a legacy through the death of the complier that gives us the estate, and that is by Blood. And that is what grace is all about. That is what grace is about when you're a parent, lay up treasures and give it to you. You didn't get to anything from them that you laid up yourself. It's the parent lays up for the children. And it's grace, it's a free gift. It's unmerited. The only thing you should have to be a child, and we'll see that in a little while as we go into the Scripture. And so it is here, that’s what Jesus did. He died in order to give us the kingdom. Christ died according to the Scripture, and to fulfill the Scripture. Therefore there is nothing left but an inheritance of grace laid up. All you've got to do is find your name in the will, and fire your claim and take it. (See?) 21. Now, let's take a look at this, we go to the Book of Ephesians which is the great Book we want to deal with chapter 1:11, It says: (11) In whom also we have obtained an inheritance,… Well look at verse 7, (7) In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins… And notice in verse 11, (11) In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: In other words, It's telling you we have an inheritance according to our names being in the will. According to our names being sons of God, named in the will. You see? There is your picture there. Now listen, we must never recoil from, or refuse a death legacy. Now, I know that's going to sound kind of strange, but you see I know the human heart. And the human heart always wants to add to it, or take from it. They don't want to give Him all the glory. No, no, they haven't learned that. Even kids that get an inherit, they don't want it to be said. "Oh, the reason that you got money is your dad's mother left it to you." They don't want to say, Look I'm a no good bum, and Ma and Pa were the good folk and they worked …?... say, "I want to tell you something, I was a good son, I did this, I hoed the garden., I milked the cows, I picked the peaches, yes, I want to tell you, I put the garden in." Aw, shut up. Blabber mouth. Why don't you act to own up and say, "Yes, they laid it up, thank God, I had parents like that. They gave it to me." Now, we recoil from death's benefits. We got a little stinking pride somewhere down the line, (Uh?) You got to get used to me preaching, because I'm rougher than a cob at times, and I'm being rough now. Because I know my heart, therefore I know your heart, because we're the same junk. We recoil from a death benefit, we want to think we had a part in It, that we did something. No sir, He died and we get It, because He died. Yes sir. Yes sir, that's exactly what the Bible teaches. "Yet God spared not His Own Son, but freely delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not also with Him freely give us all things." [Rom 8:32] 22. Now, let's go to Romans 10:4, and take a look and see this. All right. (4) For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. (If you believe then that's the end of it.) (5) For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. (We like to kind of think we could do it.) (6) But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down…) Who is going to say, "Well, I'm going to have Jesus come down and die for me." You could never even think of it. Don't question it. (7) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ from the dead.) (Don't question that.) (8) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: the word of faith, which we preach; (9) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, (for your sins) thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Now, there's the thing, you don't recoil from death's benefits. You say, "Thank God He died, and by His death I am heir to the Kingdom of Almighty God. 23. Now listen, the fact that He was raised by God, and He had to be raised for a purpose, He was not simply raised to prove anything, not just to prove something. (See?) He was raised with a purpose. Now watch: the fact that He was raised by God to be Mediator, (Hebrews 9:15) proved that He was that One Who was the promised Messiah and that He died, and in His death and in His death alone the promises of God's redemption and inheritance, (based on redemption) are secured for us. Now, let's go to Hebrews 9:15 again and look at It. (15) And for this cause…(that's concerning the Blood of Jesus was shed for our sins, for this cause) he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, (which were) for the redemption of the transgressions under the first testament, they which are called, might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. You know that your name is in the Lamb's Book of Life, and you're going to get the inheritance. Now listen, what is he talking about? Let's just look at It very simply. "And for this cause He is the Mediator of the New Testament." (See?) What is He, what's It saying? It's saying that Jesus is the executor of His Own will. 24. Now, what he's telling you here is that Jesus He bought this all, He took it all in death. He brought to nothing Satan. He has everything in His power. Now, He died in order to get it, not for Himself, but for you and me. Now, many a man lays up a vast estate. Many a man has laid up tremendous goods, and he leaves it to his wife and his children so he thinks. But there's a crooked rotten lawyer somewhere. A filthy judge, a mongering, (and you know plainly what I'm talking about) down in Washington, politicians, and the will is never properly probated. The executors are so rotten his wife doesn't get it, and the children get nothing. 25. Now listen, Jesus knew that. What does He do? Jesus dies upon Calvary to leave us this vast estate allocated to us. Then He rises to make sure that we get It. That's exactly what the Scripture says. He is the Executor, the Mediator to everything that He accomplished. Oh, how some men would like to come back and be executors to their own wills. But they can't. But Jesus is not simply a man, He has risen from the dead in order to ensure that we absolutely get everything He died for. That's why He's Mediator, that's why He's Intercessor, He mediates to bring us in, He intercedes to keep us in. He will lose none, and neither will we lose anything. (See?) Now, you can begin to see what His Resurrection is proving. Once you see the Resurrection proven, you can begin to see the majesty of the power of Almighty God working in the universe for redemption. And He's doing it, proving it to us. Now, you notice I'm using the word 'redemption'. And of course we know to redeem means 'to buy back', or to regain possession of something we once had. Now remember, Jesus is Redeemer, but He's more than that. He is a Kinsmen Redeemer. 26. Now, the human mind once more goes into dysfunction. So, the parents lay up a great treasure on earth, they have millions of dollars, they have mighty estate, and they've got a little black sheep called Johnny. And so they look down on their son and they say, "Johnny is a bum, he's a no good bird. So, what I'm going to do, there's a cute little orphan boy down the street, I'll give him my money. And everybody says, "Cheers, cheers, cheers." And I say, "Hogwash, you don't know the first thing about Jesus Christ, you're still an imbecile in your mind." (Yeah) Oh, we get starry-eyed HYPERLINK "https://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=3&cad=rja& uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjSuIDeu-TaAhUByoMKHZZGAtcQFghKMAI&url=https%3A%2F%2Fdi ctionary.cambridge.org%2Fdictionary%2Fenglish%2Fstarry-eyed&usg=AOvVaw1p KFU-VCqLbYtkQ9zCKu3q" and glamour filled. "Those parents …?... this great fortune they had, this lovely inheritance and they give it to a little boy down the street. Uh, uh, uh, no. Oh no my brother my sister, the parents lay up for the children, and Johnny's the child. And I don't care how rotten a fallen son of God can get, he can get awful rotten my brother, my sister. He can be a David with four hundred and ninety-nine wives, and see a naked woman taking a bath, and say I've got to have her, when he could have had just as much from one of his other wives. (Yeah) I'm talking very plain, and I mean to be plain. There are none of us worth a plug nickel. 27. But we are still His fallen sons. He is a Kinsmen Redeemer. And if you aren't kin to Him, you're never going to get it, so quit fooling. But if you are kin, you are going to get it. True and simple. Let's get the stars out of our eyes and get back to reality we're in as faith. Emotion my brother/sister, is what Bro. Branham condemned, because they're not building it upon the Word. They're building it upon little sensations. Hang your sensations. Crucify them, I'm trying to tell you. Let's look at it straight tonight. Remember, teaching is not meant to be followed by praying for the sick and everything else. Teaching is for one reason, to get you down where the Word is. What does the Word say? Not what you and I think It says, what does it say? He is a Kinsmen Redeemer. And let me tell you flat, there is nothing worse than a fallen son. Paul, Saul of Tarsus, went around killing the Bride to do God a favor. What a great son he was. But let me tell you, He's one of those twelve on one of those thrones. One of the twenty-four elders, don't worry. 28. Now, the first mention of Jesus that He is to be Redeemer, and He's got to be Kinsmen is found over here in Genesis 3:15, because He's related to the human race through the woman. Genesis 3:15. All right, listen to It. (15) And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Right here we see the serpent bruising, which means to snap back and overwhelm the heel of Jesus. And surely we can see that this means to bring Christ down in a physical death of which He is not kept down. Because it's just the heel, the tripping. He is tripped, taken under. But in your tripped you're not down to stay down, it's just a trip, you get up. So, Jesus was tripped, snapped back, tripped over momentarily in the three days of death. But Jesus snapped Satan's head. And I like that. Here the serpent snaps at the Lion's foot, hits Him, and I just [makes a noise] over his head. Oh, beautiful. How could I ever doubt what Jesus did for me? How could I? 29. So, we see Jesus snapping back, or bringing down the head-ship, or the owner-ship of Satan. They died as a sovereignty. The picture is very clear here. Adam and Eve have sold out humanity and the whole human race. And look at the condition of the world in Genesis 3:17-19. (17) And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake;… Now Adam wasn't cursed, the ground was cursed. And this is the whole trouble, we're not cursed, the ground is cursed. We get germs, disease, aches and pains, lumbago, you name it. The reason I named that, is because I feel like it is, I got at the time. Now, all of these things are there. It says, (17) …cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it… Yeah, you'll get sorrow out there, you'll get stiff. And when you think you've got the right thing coming, it'll be the wrong thing. Yes sir, because wild oats looks like tame oats. But you look at it and you'll find it's not so. (17) …(you'll) eat of it (in sorrow) all the days of thy life;… (18) Thorns also and thistles (it'll) bring forth to thee;…(that's the little churns of thistles and thorns by the leaves curling up and being all prickly in all things. (19) In the sweat of thy face (you're going to) eat bread, till thou return (to) the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and dust (thou) shalt thou return. 30. Now, let's get a clearer picture here by the apostle Paul in chapter 8:20-23, of the Book of Romans. This is a much clearer and better picture. All right, (20) For the (creation) was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, You know that creation is under the thralldom [bondage] of sin? But it will not be there forever, because God will not allow it to be there forever. It's only there for a time until He redeems it. (21) Because (creation) itself shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the liberty of the glory of the children of God. You let the children be glorified in an immortal body and you watch what happens in nature. (See?) Now, (22) For we know that the whole creation (everything, all of it is groaning) and (moaning, travailing) in pain together until now. (23) And not only (creation) but ourselves also,… And we've even got the first-fruits of the Spirit, the guarantee of the Resurrection. We've been sealed into all of this that God accomplished for us upon Calvary by the baptism with the Holy Ghost. The legal poof is here, we are in It, we're in It, this is ours. And we're groaning, (see?) we've got a problem here. What are we waiting for? We're waiting for what the Holy Spirit has given us as a guarantee, (23) … the redemption of (the) body. Immortality, (see?) never anymore frustration. We are waiting for It. Now, there's the Bible tells you that. All nature is under the thralldom of sin. Every part of creation has been abused by sin. Every part of creation must be restored from sin. How is it going to be done? It is already paid for through the death of Jesus Christ. We're only waiting for the allocation of it. (See?) 31. All right, God admits this in Genesis 3:15. For He calls Satan, He said, "Your head is going to be bruised." (See?) Satan has taken it over. Adam has lost it. Eve has lost it. Satan is in control now. For He grants the serpent to be the head Satan reigning. And Jesus confirms it. For when Satan came is, "All this will I give you if you fall down and worship me," he said. [Mt 4:9] "Uh, uh, no, no." He didn't say, "Satan, you big liar, you don't own it. What are you trying to tell me that you can promise me this." He admits it. He said, "Sure it's yours, but I'm not going to worship you to get it. I'm going to get it just the same by worshipping God." And how do you worship God? By obedience to the Word. (See?) Yes sir, the revealed Word. 32. Now, Adam has lost his estate as shown in Genesis 3, and Romans 8, and he's driven from the Garden. All right, you'll find that over here in Genesis 3:23, and we look at It. (23) (And) therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. (24) (And) he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. In other words, It says man cannot possibly enter immortality under the condition in which he is. (See?) He's got to die. But at the end time that's changed. Just watch everything, watch everything carefully. Now, but God will get this all back from us, for us through the death of Jesus Christ as He says in Genesis 3:15, "The seed of the woman shall bruise the serpent's head." 33. Now, let's look at this. Now, we're going to read carefully, and here's where I want your closest attention now, because this will seem like unrelated material, but it absolutely is not. We read first of all in the Book of Hebrews 2: 14, (two verses) (14) Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood,… Do you realize that that tells you there's a preexistence? It says, "Forasmuch as children partake of flesh and blood," they had to be there to partake of it. We were someplace before we were here. And have no recollection of it. Death passing into theophonic bodies Bro. Branham said. Now listen, Just like Jesus: (14) …he also himself likewise took part of the same; (in order to die) that through death he might (bring to nothing) him that had the power of death, (that's) the devil; Do you know what that means? That means to so utterly, annihilate everything that belonged to the devil, or so change that he had a hand in it, that it looks as though it had never ever happened in the first place. Right back to perfection. Oh listen, that's a tremendous promise of God. (15) And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 34. All right, now, we're going to go right to Daniel 9:24-26, we're going to read It. Now: (24) Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up the vision and prophecy, to anoint the most (highly). (25) Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. (26) And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. Now, what is this all about? Now, here is what I see, you may see what you want. But I am going to show you what I see by going to Daniel 7:9-14, which is the basis for Daniel 9:24-26. And when we read Daniel 7:9-14, we will read Revelation 21:1-2, and Revelation 22:1-6, because It is the same thing. 35. We go then to Daniel 7: So, I say what is this about, why have I read Hebrews and Daniel? Because Daniel 9:24-26 is based upon Daniel 7:9-14, Revelation 21:1-2, [Revelation] 22:1-6. We're going to read It now beginning in [Daniel] 7: (9) (And) I beheld (he has visions, here's the visions) I beheld (the vision) till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, his wheels as burning fire. (10) A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened. (11) I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. (12) As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: their lives were prolonged for a season and time. (13) I saw in the night visions, (more visions) and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. (14) And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. Now, we want to see something here. Just hold your finger there, and take a look at Daniel 9, for one second, (24) Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city\, (And remember, the Jews are the history makers of the world, not the Gentiles.) to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy,… And what is a vision of prophecy? It's right over here in chapter 7. Now notice, in chapter 7, he goes right to…(and this is in the seventy weeks, the seventy weeks must include this. And in chapter 7, you will find the White Throne clear to the New Jerusalem. 36. Now, let's go to Revelation 21: I'll just show you in a second what I'm seeing, what I'm looking at here. Revelation 21:1-2, (1) And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. (2) And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Okay to 22: I could read much more, but let's take [Revelation] 22:1-6. (1) And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. (2) In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. (3) And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: (4) And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. (5) And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. (6) And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his (messengers his) servants the things which must shortly be done. 37. Now, let's go back here to Daniel 7: (9) I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days sit, garment white as snow, hair of his head like the pure wool: throne like fiery flame, wheels as burning fire. (10) A fiery stream issued came before him: thousand thousands ministered (that's the Bride at the end of the Millennium) ten times thousands ten (times) thousand stood before judgment…opened. That's everybody else but the Bride, and the 144,000. And there's an Old Testament Bride, and a New Testament Bride member, they're all there. Because that's where the Millennium is. The end of the Millennium comes the White Throne judgment. Now, then you see what happens. But notice in verse 13. (13) …in the night visions, one like the Son of man came (and) clouds of heaven, came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. (14) And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, (and) all people, nations, languages, serve him:… Now listen, that is true in the Millennium, but it's much more true in New Jerusalem. Because that is where He sits on the Throne, and all nations bring their glory in. And He sits with the Bride with the Pillar of Fire over It. So, what you see here is the vision shows a complete wrapping up of all life as we know it now upon the earth, and the ushering in, the ushering in from the Great Tribulation right to New Jerusalem. In other words, once a certain time strikes in history, you'll never stop it. It just begins rolling. And that is when that stone cut without hands begins to come down, (right?) then it never ceases. It just goes on, and on, and on, until New Jerusalem is come down on earth. You follow me? Now, that's true. 38. Now, let's go back to Daniel 9: because here's where I want to look at. (24) Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, … And that's right, that's all the time there's left in this world. It's seventy weeks and the Jews have it. And that's the only time you go by. Now, let's keep watching: (24) …to finish the transgression, make an end of sins, to make recon- ciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, … And the vision and prophecy brother/sister, goes from the seventieth week right to New Jerusalem. That's right, it does. Now watch: (25) (Now) know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem…(should) be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: (that's sixty nine, and) the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And they did it in seven weeks, forty nine years. Then thirty, then sixty-two weeks set in; (26) And after threescore and two weeks… That's after seven goes by, there's sixty-two come. And after sixty-two weeks goes by, Messiah comes. Now, what happens after sixty-two? Remember, only seventy weeks, right? All right, you got seven, then you got sixty-two, that makes sixty-nine, What comes after sixty-nine? Seventy. Right? Then what does It say? It said, "As the going forth to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the prince shall be seven weeks threescore and two weeks and so on." (26) And after threescore and two weeks Messiah shall be cut off,… In the seventieth week Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself. Then who's He cut off for? He is cut off for you and me. So, what I'm trying to show you here is I'm looking at it. What I am seeing here by the grace of Almighty God is the fact that Jesus Christ died in order to insure us the end of transgression, the end of sin, reconciliation, everlasting righteousness, anointing the most holy, right through, and even the very vision. (See?) It's got to take place within the seventy. And when the seventy is over you are walking to the Millennium, to the White Throne, to New Jerusalem, to the heavens itself and back down on earth to the brand new creation. And there it is where everything is all over in eternity. Now, It says here that Messiah is cut off. Why? In order that we can have it, because without Him we would get none of it. (See?) We would get none of it. 39. Now listen, this brings us right up to this present day. It has to. Revelation 10:1-3 is absolutely Revelation 4:1-3, and Revelation 5:1-7. So, let's go back to Revelation 4:1-3, and Revelation 5:1-7. Now, this is just as simple as ABC. (1) After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were a trumpet talking with me; (and) said, Come up hither, I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. (2) And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. (3) And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. Now, look at It, a sardine stone, a jasper stone. Now, what were the stones? They were the Urim and Thummim. What was upon the Throne? God veiled in a Pillar of Fire. And He is the Word, He is the Urim and Thummim. (See?) Now, (4) And round about the throne were four and twenty…(elders and so on.) 40. Now, let's just leave that and let's go to [Revelation] 5: (1) And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. Now, It tells you that there came forth a Book from this One, (which is God) eternal Spirit, Elohim, El Ella, (call Him what you want, as long as you're Bible) Pillar of Fire, veiled in a Pillar of Fire. The Pillar of Fire is not God, the Pillar of Fire veils Him. Now, there comes forth a Book. Now, this Book is written within and without. There's a special word in the Greek that signifies the manuscript that is written on both sides. Another words, signifies one side only. This is on both sides. Showing that you cannot add to It, and it's sealed showing you cannot take from it. And It's got Seven Seals. Now: (2) And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? Now, evidently this Book has got to be opened. The Seals must be ripped off. The content must be read and exposed, and it has to do with man. Because It says, "Who is worthy?" (3) And no man in heaven, (no man) in earth, (onoman) under the earth, (no man) was able to open the book, (or) to look thereon. (4) And I wept much, because… (if you can't find a man, and a man has got to open the book.) How is the Book going to be opened? God isn't going to open It, He won't open the Book. But the Book that God has, has got to be opened. (4) …no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. Nobody even worthy …?... what God is showing forth, what's in this Book that God had sealed up. (5) And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: (John) behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof. Now, it's got to be a man. Call him a lion, call him what you want, he's a man, because he's got to be a man. (6) And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a (man, a) Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. 41. Now, this tells you something right here. This is the Lamb, this is the Son of man raised from the dead. This is He in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks. And He has seven [correction] horns which signifies His power demonstrated seven times. And He's got seven eyes which are the seven spirits of God sent forth in all the earth. Now, God does not have seven spirits, He has one Spirit. Now, you know who those eyes are, Bro. Branham told us. And you know yourself by reading Zachariah. The eyes are the Seven Church Age messengers. [At this point volume decreases and tape cuts in and out] That powerful Word in Seven Church Ages messengers went down to the earth in those seven men. Because that's what the Spirit of God is, is in seven messengers which is Christ said, "Let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches," [Rev 2:29] because God only speaks through the messengers. So therefore, the Spirit speaking through the man. God knows …?... seven of them. (See?) 42. Now he, who is in all of this, takes the Book. Now notice, the description of the man taking the Book. It's important to us, because this is where we need to go further. (6) And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. (7) And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. Now, here we find that "took the Book out of the right hand of Him," in Revelation 10:1. Now, hold it. (1) And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, [blank space] There is another Scripture so far: (2) And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea… The Lamb takes the Book… (1) …his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: (He doesn't bring It down.) But the Lamb leaves It. Now remember, He's Redeemer and Executer. The Mediator opens It/ Out of His Own …?... and His Own estate. But He doesn't bring It down. …?... (3) … as (the) lion (roars): and when he (opens It… (2) (Now,) …he set his foot upon (land) and sea…. (3) And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion (roars): (Doesn't say it's a lion, lifts up his hand to heaven and…fire brings It down.) … uttered their voices. (4) And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not. (5) And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth l ifted up his hand to heaven, (6) And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: (7) But in the days…when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of (old of the seven messengers…He is God)…as he (has) declared (the Good News of His Gospel by) his servants the prophets. It is just exactly as Bro. Branham has said, "This is the Book of Redemption, It certainly is. You'll see that after a little bit. It is the Book of Redemption opened, God's Word or Testament laid bare. 43. Now notice, what he said. Revelation 5:5 (5) …Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda,… (which was bought back by His Blood.) (60 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. Now, let's watch the picture here. His death for you and me has prevailed to open the Book and loose the Seals. …?... He arose …?... now that's what his ministry is all about, why is He prevailing? [blank portion on tape] Because He is that One that died. His is the One Who died. …?... He is the One Who ever makes intercession. …?... The Intercessor as the Executor makes sure we are going to get the estate. …?... Now…perpetrated against us. The Mediator brings us in, opens the Book, because He is the Man Who made Himself flesh and blood to bring to nothing everything that Satan …?... All that Christ bought by His death we are going to get now. All the promises that were bought for us by His death are now unsealed.
