Question and Answers Bro. Lee Vayle - April 6, 1983 Questions there, I knew Bro. Mayfield coming, very glad to have him and Marilyn and the family. And I knew he'd have some questions, and what he relies on is what a lot of people rely on. They just engage me in a conversation. The first thing their questions are answered. Well, that's not unusual, but I figured tonight it may be a good idea that we just take questions and then some answers and everybody has a chance. But, he handed me in a few questions which I don't think we're going to take a terrible long time to go into them. 1. But, [question one:] is: "Is the Lamb seen in Revelation 1? "Now, you know of course Revelation 1 is Bro. Branham referred to that in the 'Patmos Vision' as the Judge. And he's talking here in verse 5, he says: (5) And from Jesus Christ, who is (this) faithful witness, …him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, Then, over here again It mentions that He's standing there: (14) …hair white as wool, as white as snow; eyes as flame of fire; (15) …feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace;… of course that's judgment.) And then It mentions over here that: (18) (I was who) was dead, (and now) I am (now) alive… And then It doesn't mention the Lamb until over in chapter 5, of the Book of Revelation, where It tells you about the Lamb that came from the midst of the Throne. 2. So, all right: now, is the Lamb seen in Revelation 1, the Logos, or is the Lamb only one attribute of the fullness of the attributes of God? So, let's just go back to John 1, the answer is in John 1, it's a good question, and the answer is exposed before us. Now: (1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (1) In the beginning was the (Logos,) and the (Logos) was with God, and the (Logos) was God. (2) The same was in the beginning with God. (3) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. (4) In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And then It says in verse 14: (14) And the (Logos) was made flesh, (well actually became flesh) and dwelt among us… (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father.) Now, It tells you that, that this Logos became flesh. That's what he says. Now, let's go to John 1:26 the same chapter. (26) (And) John answered, saying, I baptize with water: but there (stands) one among you, whom ye know not; (27) He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose (shoe) latchet I am not worthy to unloose. (28) These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing. (29) The next day John (sees) Jesus coming unto him, and (said), Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. (30) This is he of whom I said, After me (comes) a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. Now, you notice in here that It says the Logos literally became flesh. And then It says when John pointed out this One who had become flesh, he called him a Lamb. So, what you see here is that the Logos actually is the Lamb, and it is in terms of the Logos made flesh. Now, at the same time the question is good in that it brings out the fact of attributes. Now, when it comes to attributes in this particular case, I would sooner eliminate the word attribute and use the word 'role', r-o-l-e, where Bro. Branham mentions the drama. Now he said, "It is God acting out His Own drama." And in there He changes His mask, but He is the same One doing the acting, the perpetrating, the participation, all of those things He is doing, but He's doing it in a special role which may be necessary that He put that role down; and then come over to another role, the same person acting as though he were another character in that drama of life. 3. Well now, at this time…(let me see now, let's go back to Matthew 16.) (13) (He said,) …Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? (14) And he said, Some say (you're) John the Baptist: some, (Elijah); others, (Jeremiah), or one of the prophets. (15) He (said) unto them, But whom (do you say) that I am? Now, in there you'll notice that they are referring to Him in the sense of the prophetic. 4. All right, this one here will do us perfectly in the Book of Acts 3:22, and speaking of Christ, It says here: (22) For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. Now, what I'm showing you here is this: that this One that John designated as the Lamb of God never became the Lamb of God until he was taken into custody. And when he was taken into custody, that is the same as where you take the lamb up and examine it for any blemish, it must be a male, it must be the first one born to the that female, (that ewe) and it must be taken up two weeks prior and kept in quarantine in order to observe and to know, to test it out, that this was a perfect lamb that would qualify for the sacrifice. So therefore, Christ was taken from, into judgment, and there was stripes and judgment, and thorns, and abuse, and everything heaped upon him, he was taken at that particular moment to show that he was that lamb worthy to be slain. 5. Now, it wasn't that before that time He didn't show that He was worthy, because He said, "Which of you (you know) convinces me of sin, (which means, finds me wrong in one Word,) or as Bro. Branham also said, "One Word that I haven't fulfilled." So, you're looking at the fact that this One was Prophet and Lamb. He wasn't just a prophet, he was a sacrifice. He was the One coming of Whom was prophesied, so that He was the Word made flesh. And He was that Prophet, (and He certainly was) and he was that one who would die for the sins of the people. But you see, even though He was that very thing, and at the same time those attributes lay there. Really, you're looking at roles more than you're looking at attributes. And so therefore, he was the Prophet, and He was the Lamb. And He was all of those things, and He is all of those things, but they must fall in their due course. 6. So you see, is the Lamb seen in Revelation 1 the Logos? Yes, He's the Logos, you can't get away from It. Because, we're looking at the fact now as Bro. Branham put Him way down, (put Him in there,) as the Judge, and put Him into the incarnation. Because, when this One says, "I am He that was dead and alive," [Rev 1:18] I am all of it. You're not talking in terms of simply Jesus who was made flesh, because Bro. Branham said, "Jesus had a beginning, there's a difference between him and God." I'm looking at the fact as I see that this One Bro. Branham was viewing and saw Him down there at the end, looking at the incarnation. He was looking at the fullness of all the attributes of the Godhead, just exactly as we will see when that Spirit that's amongst us made Him incarnate unto us, and we crown Him King of kings and Lord of lords. So, He's the Lamb all right, and that's the One that actually was the Logos, became flesh. As Bro. Branham said, "God literally took His attributes and He reduced them into the form (genetically speaking, I guess you might say) of an egg and a sperm, and He brought that out into flesh." Now, that was God manifesting in flesh. 7. So, you can never get away from Logos. You can't get away from It, because that's where God literally put Himself in a human form. Now, you get the same thing over here in Book of Philippians, where Bro. Branham was speaking on 'The Unveiling of the Mighty God'. And he said here: [Philippians 2:] (5) Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ… (6) Who, being in the form of God, thought it not (a prize to be grasped and retained) to be equal with God: In other words, to sit right there in that particular area without moving out of it. But notice, It says: (7) (Then he) made himself of no reputation, took upon him the form of a servant, was made in the likeness of men: (8) And being (humbled) found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Now, there could have been no way that this One could have died, except in a human form, because a human form can die. His spirit, the spirit would have to be annihilated. It wouldn't work. Spirit of God could never be annihilated. That's one reason why a truly born-again person would never commit any condemnation. There's no way. 8. Now, he says here, "That he took upon Himself that form." [verse 7] And that form was there in order that he might die. Now, the point is this: who are you talking about? Well, you're talking about not the flesh. And yet you can't bypass the flesh. Bro. Branham said, "We're a tripartite being." We're body, we're soul, and we're spirit. Now, he said, "You can't be you with one of those missing." There's no way, that you can be you. Then he divided those into two parts, of which there was 'soul and spirit', and there was a body. Now, when he says here: "He made himself of no reputation, but took upon him the form of a servant." [verse 7] Now you see, this is the One Who is becoming. Now, He wasn't a man before. He wasn't flesh and blood before. What God had within Him as being God, He had never transformed into that which would develop into flesh and blood through the embryo. He had not done that. But now He has done it, and so therefore, now we have this body coming forth as a true human being. Now, that same One Who made that for Himself, then was able to indwell that form (which he did) at the River Jordan when he was Baptized. Now, It says here that He took upon Himself that form. He became (as Bro. Branham mentioned) He wanted to form Himself into man is a difficult expression when you're looking at it. See, he said over there, "The beginning of the creation of God." And he said, "That's where God began creating Himself into human form, starting way back in the beginning where He came right down to make Himself a man and stand amongst us. And now at the same time He's bringing many sons into glory, because he died upon Calvary and rose again." 9. So, all right here you got this then, which we recognize as Logos. We got this One which Logos is the fullness of the attributes of God. In other words, that life in there which in now able to take upon itself a form and to manifest that Life within us. All right, God is taking upon Himself this form here, and He makes its human form which He inhabits and the blood is shed and the body does not corrupt, because God does not allow. And He raises that up. Now, what you're looking back over here in the Book of Revelation as I understand Bro. Branham saying, "You're looking at the fact again of a reincarnation." You're looking at that fact back there. Now, what is that One? That is that Logos that was made flesh. Absolutely. And that is that Lamb that you see risen from the dead. And so, It's not just one attribute. It's not one attribute, It's the One that was in the role of the Lamb is now the same One that's in the role of the Judge. So, you're dealing with complete role. When you deal with attributes, I can't conceive of anything Bro. Branham said, other than, "that the Logos was the fullness of the attribute of God, the Godhead." So, I would never take attributes and substitute it for role, nor would I take role and substitute it for attributes. The attributes is that which you're dealing with basically as the character, or the one who will take on many forms and characters. And when you're dealing here, you're dealing with form. Role. That's what it is, it's a role, a part in the great drama. 10. So now, look at this One and Whom was the attributes, see? The attributes come forward. Okay, He's Prophet. All right, fine. He's Lamb, slain upon Calvary. All right, He's raised, He becomes Priest. Now, let's just…I'm going to use this same Scripture again later on. But, I want you to follow me now so you can get it. It says here in Hebrews 2:16. (16) For (truly) he took not on (himself) the (form) of angels; but (became) the seed of Abraham. (That's what He identified and became one of.) Now, Bro. Branham said that “Christ at one time was Michael the archangel.” Okay, that was a role. That's put to one side. Now, the role here he's talking about is in a human being, not in an angel. All right, took on Himself, the seed of Abraham, now He came through a special line according to flesh, which was in a woman who didn't contribute anything but her body as a factory. Incubator. Now, it doesn't sound very good, but let's face it, that's exactly what it was. A lot of things Bro. Branham said don't sound too good, (you know) because a people are a little bit prone to aggrandize themselves, and (you know) come on, let's face it she was an incubator. And that doesn't get away from the fact that she was a fine woman. Now, when she had another child by Joseph, that's a different thing entirely. 11. Now: (17) Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that (now watch) that he might be a merciful and high priest…(It doesn't say Lamb, does it?) No. It says, "High Priest." So, what is it? Role.) Attributes then are functional basic relationship concerning Godhead. Roles are manifestations of what God wants in His drama. There's a role. So, that's the way I'm looking at this, rather than the phraseology, See? I'm trying to look at phraseology to get as correct as I can and everything lined up with it. 12. Now, when you look at this then you also go back to Revelation 15:3. (3) And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, King of (the) saints. Okay, role: Revelation 19:11. (11) And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness (does he) make war. (12) His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, no man knew,…he himself. (13) …clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And verse 16, He's called: (16) …KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. There's another verse I want too there…yes, Revelation 6:16. (16) And said to the mountains, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that (sits) on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: So, you got a role. You got the roll of a King, you got the role of Judge, you got the role of a mighty Conquer and all these things right down there. All of these are rolls based upon the attributes. Based upon being Logos. Logos is all of these, because here you see, God is manifesting Himself in form, where He able to be apprehended. 13. All right, the [question two:] "When does the day of the Lord start, at the incarnation, or the opening of the Seals?" Well, okay let's go back to Revelation 1:12. (12) And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; (13) And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. (14) His head and his (hair) white like wool…(and so on.) Okay, let's go to Revelation 5: and It says here: (1) And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. (In other words, completely written inside and out, Sealed on the outside are seven seals.) (2) And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? (3) And no man in heaven, nor in earth…(and so on.) (4) …I wept much, because no man was found worthy… (5) And one of the elders (said), Weep not: the Lion of the tribe of Juda, hath prevailed to open the book… Now, here is a role again, of the Lamb and He's the Lion. He's the Root, all of these things are roles based on attributes. Just like you, you couldn't be a carpenter, a paper hanger, or a painter if you didn't have attributes. (6) …having seven horns and seven eyes, seven Spirits of God…(and so on.)…. (7) …he came and took the book… 14. Okay, now let's go back to Revelation 10:1. (1) And I saw another mighty angel (a messenger) come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: (2) …he had in his hand a little book open: set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, (3) …cried with a loud voice, when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. All right, now, Bro. Branham mentions that Revelation 10:1 is the same as Revelation 5, is the same as Revelation 1:12. It's the same person. In other words, you're dealing with Christ. You're dealing with the fact of the Logos disincarnated. And we got the word 'carneous' meaning flesh. So, He's not in flesh. 15. Okay, let's just take a look at Revelation 1 again. All right, notice verse 4. (4) John to the seven churches… Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; (5) And from Jesus Christ… It doesn't say 'even', It says 'and'. You got two there. You got the One sitting on the Throne, you got One that's on the right hand the majesty on high, He's on the Mercy Seat. He's in the midst of the Throne. I don't worry too much about Mercy Seat. I don't put the emphasis on It the way a lot of people do, so that you wonder is He on, or off. It doesn’t matter to me one way or the other. The Blood has been shed, and as long as there's one to come in and to be kept in, He's not going to let us down. As long as 144,000 got to come in that's still Intermediator, and Intercessor. I got no problem with it, I just let it lie there. The people say, "Is the Blood on? Is it off? Can this come, can that come?" Why don't you just shut up and mind your business. Your job is grace. You're not running this show. You know what I mean? It's a…I don't buy all this talk. He says right here, "before His Throne." Now, this time Jesus (the Lamb) is back behind the Throne, and in the midst of the Throne. In the midst of the Throne area. He's part of the whole scenario of Heaven. There isn't one thing that God, per se, before ever there was a speck of star-dust can do one thing outside of the Lamb. Everything is through Him and to Him. So, here they are, and I say they, and I make no apology for it. I'm not a Jesus-Only. 16. Okay, all right, now: He's looking down the road in the Spirit on the Day of the Lord. So, you leave this and you go there. And when you do it is no longer Him on the Throne, and One in the midst. In my understanding he is seeing the Judge (as Bro. Branham said,) which is an incarnation. Now, before He was ever incarnated He was a Judge. In Him was to be Father, in Him was to be Son, in Him was to be everything, all these things. So It was all there, attributes. Now, roles require a time element. This time element in my understanding is: that He in the Day of the Lord is the Judge. Fine. But the Day of the Lord is also King. But, we're looking particularly at the fact of Judge. As Bro. Branham said, "Because of the wig." You have a time element. Now, It's the same One with the wig that gets crowned. See? But, He can't be crowned until the Wedding Supper. 17. All right, the question come in: "When does the Day of the Lord start, at the re-incarnation, or at the opening of the Seals?" Well, since Revelation 5, and Revelation 1:12, and Revelation 10:1 are identical. And this is the same One, but, not coming into His Church, the same One establishing Who He is with a prophet that Bro. Branham met in June 11,1933, and He was seen. And that was what Bro. Branham called 'a Pillar of Fire', the newspapers said, "a rainbow appeared above It." All right, Who came down? Revelation 5:1 came down. Revelation 1:12 that was going into the incarnation, because He's not incarnated now is the One that came down. Okay, Bro. Branham said, "The Sixth Seal was opened in March, 1964, that the [Alaskan] earthquake took place. The judgments of God are in the earth. So therefore, you can put this that the Judge is basically more in view at the opening of the Seals, and from that time until the incarnation, then He was called Judge previously. 18. Now, the reason we say this (and we've phrased our language the way we have phrased it) is because of Genesis 18: [25b] "Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?" Now, this Judge was in the form of a man, and He stood there as a prophet. Now, Bro. Branham said, "God's His Own Prophet." So, we have Elohim in our day before the flood. And He is already setting in motion that which is going to bring a complete judgment upon the earth. So therefore, we are looking again in terms of the attributes bring forth a role. And I believe this, that already, although He is not incarnated, so that under the Sixth Seal all these terrible judgments can happen, because the Bride is taken out of here. I believing what we're seeing is a portion of His role being executed at this very minute. 19. Now let me see if I can find something here. Now, in Isaiah 4: (1) …in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We (shall) eat our bread, wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, take away our reproach. Now, Bro. Branham put that in the present tense. That was this hour. At the end-time this is something that women are going to do. Now notice: (2) In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel. (3) (It'll) come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem: (4) When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning. (5) And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence. (6) And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the day time from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain. Now, you're dealing with Logos there brother/sister, that in the end-time and the Logos dealing, and Israel has only got three and a half years. There's only 144,000 going to be taken out. And under the Fifth Seal, and Sixth Seal they'll be destroyed according to Bro. Branham. They'll have to come up in a private resurrection, because they're going to be in the Millennium. Now, they'll be part of the First Resurrection, but they won't be any part of the First Resurrection of the Bride. They'll be first-fruit unto Him, but they won't be a definite first-fruit like we are. 20. Now, what I'm trying to see what I'm seeing here is this: that because of verse 1 that belongs definitely to this day, It says here, "This is the Pillar of Fire. This is Logos, God manifesting Himself in this hour to us." Now watch, a spirit of judgment and a spirit of purging. Now, the Logos, Pillar of Fire leads us into the Millennium. So, what I'm saying here as far as I am concern in my understanding, judgment has already begun, because of the fact of Elohim stood upon earth exactly as in the days of Abraham, just as it is in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, and the judgment has already settled in. And the judgment is this: the righteous will not perish with the wicked, but He Who is here, that same One is a Spirit of burning and a Spirit of judgment. And He's purging the children, He's purging the Bride at this point and He's getting her ready to take her into the Millennium as Bro. Branham said, "The Pillar of Fire is here to take us into the Millennium." It's four pages devoted to that alone in the 'Third Exodus'. Four pages I say at least. (Or maybe what? about page twenty eight or somewhere in there, right on through.) 21. So, when does the Day of the Lord start? At the re-incarnation or at the opening of the Seals? The Day of the Lord is when He identifies Himself as Judge (I believe) and when He identifies Himself as the Lord which is the Husband, which has rights over the Bride, and He has identified Himself that He is our mate. He has identified Himself that we are not longer called saints, or church, we are called Bride. I believe that the Day of the Lord actually has started. It's actually started. And I really believe that It started with the…pertinent to the church at the Seals, but that day actually goes back to about 1933, which would be June 11, when He was first begin to manifest Himself. But, the manifestation was actually in order to identify the prophet, identify Him, so that the Word could come to us; where we would know our Mate the Revealed Word. 22. So, I'm looking at the fact that already Bro. Branham said, "The invisible union has gone on, and is going on." The marriage actually has taken place, we are simply waiting for the Wedding Supper. So, all of these things lead me to believe that with the opening of the Seals that He stands revealed before us literally as also Judge, and the Bride has been judged free. But, the judgments which He will bring upon the earth cannot happen until the Bride is gone, and that is in the incarnation. So, when you look at the Judge here that Bro. Branham saw, which I believe to be the incarnation, you're looking at the fact that the Bride is gone. But remember, he said, "That Spirit wherein… which all those attributes lie in, (he tells you categorically) when that Spirit that is in our midst becomes incarnate to us, (he said) we'll crown Him King of kings." Now look, you can't take all of these roles and just say, "All right, this role, this role, this role." and divide them. You're looking at One in Whom are all these roles. And these roles start and they become more and more manifested. Now, if you believe that Elomim is here (as Bro. Branham said) before Sodom, standing before the Elect (which is typed in Abraham) you have got to recognize, "shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?" [Gen 18:25b] He's standing right there. At the same time, you got to recognize He's going to be incarnated. But, He can't be incarnated until the Bride's gone. Now, there can't be any wrath fall until the Bride's gone. And so, what you see what you're looking at is the role coming more from the negative to the positive. So, that's what I want you to try to look at, as attributes and roles and keep them separate. And this will help you to understand what we're really into. It's not that we're discrediting anything, or discounting anything, it's just that you got to see the thing come. Like, when John said, "Behold the Lamb of God." Well, he was only potentially the Lamb of God, you see? So, we see the attributes here being brought to us in roles. 23. [Question three:] "If all Israel was foolish virgins except Moses, Joshua and Caleb…" Now, you kind of watch that, okay we'll read the whole thing. "On the base of not understanding the ways of God, then are the foolish virgins not only denominations, but also the ranks of the ones called of this final Exodus?" All right, let's go into Israel. Israel came out (and It tells you) Israel came out and the mixed multitude was in their midst. All right, now Israel was foolish-virgin and also will be wise-virgin. Now, you got something here that you're going to have to throw yourself into a type. Now, let's not get too strict, because if you start getting strict, we're going to find ourselves right out on the boon-docks, and we don't want that. And I don't want to quote any certain person,...we'll talk about that a second. Let's get back to Israel. 24. All right, Israel came out, and only two people over twenty when they came out entered the Promise Land. That was 'Caleb and Joshua'. Everybody else over twenty died. Now, Israel had a foolish virgin. Now, they were the ones that died, they'd be the foolish virgin. They would die in their wanderings, they never went in. But, with that was a mixed multitude who were no more Israel than nothing. I don't care if they were the sons of Abraham and so on. Let's face it, God deals with election all the way through. Because He said, "I have got seven thousand haven't bowed the knee."[I Kg 19:18] "And all Israel is not Israel." [Rom 9:6b] So, we're going to have to go back and understand that there was a group of people in there, the three kind of believers. Now, let's look at it. Now, I'm not going to say, "believers, make believers, and unbelievers," I'm going to put it this way, "there was mixed multitudes, there was virgin, wise, and virgin foolish." Because, Bro. Branham said, "There was foolish virgin." Right? 25. Okay, let's go back to the Book of Deuteronomy and see if I can find something there. All right, in Deuteronomy 2:1. (1) Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the LORD spake unto me: and we (passed) mount Seir many days. (2) …the LORD (said), (3) (You) have compassed this mountain long enough: turn northward. (4) …command thou the people, saying, (You) are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take good heed (of) yourselves therefore: (5) Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir (to) Esau for a possession. (6) (You) shall buy meat of them for money, that (you) may eat; and (you) also buy water of them for money, that (you) may drink. (7) (And) the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the (ways) of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing. Now, that's the ones right there that walked all of those years, and then you find that they were dying over that thirty eight years actually thirty eight years of unbelief. They were just a very few miles from walking into the Promise Land. And they could have walked over and they didn't do it. Now, that's the way the foolish virgin are. They are right close to the baptism with the Holy Ghost, but they never go there. They come up to justification and sanctification, but they never get baptized. Now, this is why Bro. Branham said that “The foolish virgin is out in denominations.” 26. All right, let's look at it: the doctrine of Luther, justification, he was full of the Holy Ghost and so was everybody at that time who received the Word that had the Life in It, because there was no life in the Catholic church, because they had creeds and dogmas. Hail Mary's, novenas, masses, what have you. Luther knew "the just shall live by faith." [Heb 10:38] That was the measure of the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit was in that Word, and that Word alone. All right, there was some good people in the Catholic church, some good people. Now, they never came out with Luther, they would die in there. That would be your foolish virgins. All right, now we go to Luther, and we're getting hotter on the trail, because we're getting more and more to the definitive, where you got something to really with. The church is coming to life. 27. All right, the life was now out of the Word in the time of Luther expiration and generations down, because the people were not being born again. It was a Word where they came to, sins were forgiven, and lives were looking pretty good, but they never went on. Now, the Word to go on was 'sanctification', where the Life was. All right, that peters out. Now, here's what you've got: Luther with the Word. Now, let's face it, the doctrine of justification never ever changes. It just that the life is gone out and it's not bringing them to a rebirth. Now, sanctification does the same thing. Here in Wesley's time they're full of the Holy Ghost, they've moved on. This bunch back here, has stopped still. Now, they've got the Word, there's no two ways about it. They'll tell you about Christ, they'll tell you this, they'll tell you that, but there's no life, it's gone on. Wesley now comes, is the same thing. Pentecostal's move out. So therefore now, they go to the baptism with the Holy Ghost. Now listen, they're no more baptized with the Holy Ghost than Luther's bunch were. But, Luther's bunch don't have anything more. The best they can do is have justification, they don't go any further. Wesley's bunch, they've come up here, they've got justification, sanctification, that's petered out. They don't have any more. 28. Now, these people here in Pentecost, they have come up to the understanding of the Word of God which is being restored. And they've come to the place where the baptism with the Holy Ghost and it's no more the baptism with the Holy Ghost under Pentecost, then it was under Wesley, then it was under Luther. Now, that's where you see where everybody got this Message all messed up, even before Bro. Branham died. Before he died, they were saying, "Nobody's got the Holy Ghost, the Token only comes at evening time." So, nobody's got the Holy Ghost, where they began preaching, "The real baptism with the Holy Ghost is going to come." Let me tell you flat: the real baptism with the Holy Ghost as far as you and I are concerned is, "are we born again or not?" Now, there's nobody going to be in the Bride outside he's born again. Now, that's from the day of Paul until this very hour. 29. Now, what has happened? What has happened is simply what I'm telling you. They were full of the Holy Ghost, and they stopped receiving the Holy Ghost, they went to their creeds and their dogmas, their unification church, and they put their energies into a program. It was not more the baptism with the Holy Ghost, it's finished. Now, don't tell me they don't have the Word, and don't tell me they don't get an experience. Oh sure they do. They get justified. Absolutely believe in "the just shall live by faith," and they stood right there. Now, you've got a lot of good Lutherans I believe that'll come that far right today. Now, you've got the Wesleyans', they move up further, their lives are cleaned up, (at least they maybe believe in temperance, like a lot of folk don't or something,) they're got cleaned up lives. They've come this far. Now, you've got the Pentecostal's, they come up to gifts. (See?) Theirs went into seed of gifts, and there's no life in them. Now, you've got the end time group that believe Bro. Branham. So, you've moved from justification, sanctification, baptism with the Holy Ghost to the Holy Ghost Himself standing right here. 30. Now, the Word of the hour is: restoration of Word, and the Holy Spirit Himself standing here. Okay, they won't believe it, they can't take it. So, what have they got? They've died. Now, we're not going to say all the Pentecostal's are completely gone, but you must remember one thing, in the Nicolaitaine church, (the Laodicean church) they said, "we're rich, increased in goods, and don't lack a thing." [Rev 3:17] And he said, "This takes in the whole bunch right across the board except for those that are justified, sanctified." That's as far as they go, they don't have the Holy Ghost, even though they speak in tongues, and they come right up to gifts and they stop right there. That's as far as they're going to go. And he says to the whole bunch, He said, "You're wretched, you're miserable, you're naked, you're blind." [Rev 3:17b] In other words, I have come here today and I'm standing here and I've caught you flat-footed in your adultery. Now, John said, "I am praying that you might not be found ashamed at His Presence." Now, the shame is the shame of nakedness which is caught in immorality. Which is a sexual misconduct. And a sexual misconduct is idolatry. (See?) Now, the idolatry in this hour is leaving the Word of God. Bro. Branham explains it. Now, you got a people that come right up to the very Baptizer Himself. 31. All right, now that's what you're looking at right here. The foolish virgin is mostly in denomination. And I do not doubt, because Pentecost also denominated that you'll find them in there. You'll find foolish …[end of side one of tape - portion missing] What about foolish virgins amongst us? I'm of the opinion that there'll be foolish virgins amongst us too. That they'll be there. Now, as Bro. Branham did say, "There's three kind of believers." He said, "There's believer, make believer, and unbeliever." Now, he did mention at the end-time, but he didn't mention concerning us, but he did say, in every meeting he said, "Three kinds, but (he said) also there's foolish virgin." So, I believe the foolish virgin, there'll be foolish virgin amongst us, and they'll be unbelievers, there'll be make believers, and there's true believers. Now, in light of the fact, this question here, will throw doubts in people's minds, and say, "Well now, just what kind of shape we're in?" We're just in the best shape ever. Because, iniquity must come to its fullness the same time righteousness does. At the same time, there's a Bride that's going to go all the way. There's going to be a bunch that's going to go all the way to the antichrist. Then, there's going to be the foolish virgin right in between. Now, those people there I do not believe will be unbelievers. They'll be believers. And I don't believe they'll be make believers. I believe they're going to be very sincere. And that is, they went as far as they could go, and they couldn't go any further. It wasn't in them. And I believe we've got people that are just that way amongst us. And when you look at it…I don't want to be (you know) inconsiderate in what I'm saying, but it is only too evident as far as I am concerned, and this is Lee Vayle talking. 32. We have known William Branham in this Message. I've known him since 1953. That's thirty solid years I'm acquainted with him in this Message. Let us put myself in the position of being ten to twelve years younger, and in position of having a family of maybe seven and eight children. All my children would ever know is this Message, but doesn't make them believers. See? That's what we're up against. That's why Bro. Branham preached "The Token' the way he preached it. He said, "Most of you here we receive the Holy Ghost. But (he said) there's too many people saying like the old Israelite, 'Now I believe that's the thing to do. Yes sir! I believe the blood should be shed, I believe on our door post'." And not do a thing about it. I believe, yes, there could be definitely foolish virgin's amongst us. And I believe there's a possibility that many people, and who knows, I can't say where I'm going to stand. I might be finding myself here with the foolish virgins and give their lives. There's going to be a tremendous number of them. They will not be sucked into the Roman Catholic church. Now, they won't do it. 33. Because look, I get a paper once a month called 'The Martyr Call' from a fellow named Searfaus(?) and now except he lets his wife blab too much, it's an awful good setup. But, she's a lady preacher. And boy, I'll tell you right now, she'd let you know within two cents, now she ain't got nothing. I don't care how a good wife she is, or anything else, there's no way that woman can qualify as born again. Because, she yaps too much. She's in there running the show. And when he puts something out, you can tell it's really good. Now, already they run the people in Caracas and those places that made Bro. Branham God. Now, you know that means that Branham stinks. Now, why should Bro. Branham stink, because somebody made a stink? I can actually have a manure spreader come in here and spread manure on this floor. And this building sure stink to high heaven. That doesn't mean we stink. And so, Bro. Branham doesn't stink, just because some spread manure around the place. But, they'll take it to mean that. They said, "That's the worst idolatry in the whole of Venezuela is the Branham bunch." 34. All right, now how far have they come? They recognized the Catholic church, they're fighting the Catholic church like you and I never dreamed of it. He's right there in the jaws of the lion, and now he's going to put the Hess's martyrdom into a film, because the Catholic's are fighting him, and he's in his name and his church is being fought by the cardinal. No doubt at the request of the pope. And over here we're not having any trouble with the Catholics at this point. But, over there it's wide open persecution. They actually kill the preachers. Now, we haven't heard of one person being killed amongst us yet. Now, the point is this: (as I mention Sunday) Bro. Branham said, "There's no such thing as worship outside of the messenger.") They've turned down the messenger because of a foul stench the people presented. Idolaters in our midst that made Bro. Branham an antichrist. Now, are they foolish virgin? They'd have to be, if nothing outside of this Message has life, which means First Resurrection. They couldn't qualify any other way. 35. So, I look down the road and there's no way that anybody can say that we are all saved, are all born again, or all not born again, or all this, or all that. We absolutely have all the facets that Israel had going in. There's no way that anybody knows who is born again, to really prove anything, there's nobody can do it. All we know is that, "the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, (that) the Lord knoweth them which are His." [2 Tim 2:19] And as I said on one or more occasion that we may look pretty bad to ourselves and to everybody else, but let's face it, if we actually have the truth, the Bride must come out of our groups. I don't care whether they're 'Deity', I don't care if they're "Return Ministry', or 'Continued Ministry'. And I don't care if they're trying to make Joseph and bow the knee to him, (which is a laugh it itself) and I don't care what they preach. It's got to come out of these groups, or we've been sold a bill of goods. So sure, the greatest possibility foolish virgin, this that and the other thing, because (you know) we're getting down that road. 36. All right. [Question four:] "Explain 1 Corinthians 15:22." That would be just go in and looking at It. All right, It says here: (22) …as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all (are) made alive. (That word is, 'in identical manner'.) Now, you can look at this different ways. You can say, "Well, every man in Adam died." Okay, we're all in Adam, serpent seed proves that wrong. "Even so in Christ all are made alive." Or you can say this way: (all right) "As I was in Adam and I was dead, now I got to be in Christ to be made alive." Oh, it's very strange though, I thought you were in Him before the foundation of the world? "Oh," they say, "the choosing was in Him." People want to put it down to a choosing. Well, all right, the Lamb's Book of Life. I agree there. All right, what if your name was on the Lamb's Book of Life? Then, you're already foreknown and predestinated. So, you can't get away for it. As I understand this here, and I'm going to be honest, this is my understanding: I've never heard Bro. Branham say it, but from what he said, I make my judgments being a very, very strong believer in predestination, sovereignty and so on. "As in Adam all die." Okay? God said, "Be fruitful and multiply, replenish the whole earth," [Gen 1:28] and that was said before they were formed into flesh. All right, everyone is brought to death. How? Through physical birth. Okay, "In Christ all are made alive." But, they were in Christ before the foundation of the earth. So, those sons that would have come through him, every single one are dead. In my understanding is this: that every single one will be made alive. 37. Now notice, how he puts it: [1 Corinthians 15:] (23) …every man in his own order:… All right, is there an order to the Resurrection? Let's find out. Some man will say, "How are the dead raised up?" What body do they come with? (36) ... fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: (You got to die, now you get quickened.) (37) (You sow, don't sow) that body, but (a) bare grain… And in a generic pattern, in that grain, which no microscope will ever, ever, ever, ever be able to see, there is a life. I don't care what anybody says, it's locked up in there. The sun does not give the life, the rain does not give the life, the pulp does not give the life, the life is already there. There is no movement. Any man knows, yet we know everything moves. A rock moves. then you have the molecular density, the atomic density, especially the molecular density I guess it would be. This doesn't move, and yet there's a movement in there somehow. Light is one of the fastest moving, if not the fastest, except for a glorified body. 38. All right, it says here, you don't plant the plant, you plant what brings forth the plant. Which is a genetically patterned life with something to form itself into that which might be visible and viable. All right, now, it says "God predestinated that body. He predestinated every seed, (now this, what we're looking at in the seed) you're looking at more the life, than you're looking at the husk," or the covering. Now, God is behind the whole thing. Now, he said, "All flesh is not the same flesh." He's talking about resurrection. One a man, one a beast. A beast will come up too. They have to come up, they come up in the first place, because He said the beast came out of the ground. That is, He gave a body to it. Man was there, the body came out of the ground. "Dust you are, dust you return. " [Gen 3:19] The birds go back to dust. Everything goes back. So therefore, they were there in their genetic pattern in a life. And as soon as He gave them a chemical to work with, they came forth. All right, like that flower. Now, I don't care what anybody says, these are living flowers, (yeah) that's a carnation, I don't know what that is, I never saw that before I don't think. That's a lily. Okay, I guess that's living too, so, I don't know what that is or not, that is some kind of a fern. Now, this is a seed, that's a bulb. Now, it's easier to illustrate from this than that, but it doesn't make any difference really, because the bulb is a much bigger piece of flesh and pulp to work with then this little seed here. I think a little tiny seed as far as I recall it, a carnation seed. You got a azalea over there, I don't know if azalea's have seeds or not, doesn't matter to me if they do, or don't. But anyway, most everything it's got a covering for that life in there. Now It says God is responsible for the whole thing. Now, he said, "You don't actually plant that plant. See, you plant the seed which contains the genetic pattern which when somehow it unites with a pulp, it brings forth a most marvelous thing you ever saw. 39. Okay, now that life was there, then God gave it a body, then He took and threw from the body to a seed. So that no longer does He deal in bodies, He deals in seeds. Right? That's how it is. Okay, so, when you plant a seed, the seed under proper chemical reaction and action will bring forth that plant. Okay? So, we die, and a seed is planted, the body goes back to dust. Now, you give the right chemistry to that seed, and [snaps fingers] you've got a body. (Okay) He's saying right here. There's coming a time when God introduces a chemistry. Okay, when you do you're going to get men, birds, beasts, fishes, reptiles, insects, whatever. Also, celestial bodies, terrestrial bodies. Now watch: the glory of one is different from the glory of another. There's one glory of the sun, the glory of the moon, the glory of one star from another star, so is the resurrection of the dead. [1 Cor 15:39-41] Now he tells you right there, that you are definitely going to be in ranks and bodies, and positions differing from others. Okay, very simple. 40. All right, You've got every son of Adam. Every son is going to come back. Now, in this is an election and a remnant. I'm going to use the word 'remnant' like Bro. Branham did. The election is the fabric of the whole Adamic race. In that whole Adamic race is Lamb-life and Life, used carefully just the thought of life. Okay? We put the pattern down. Now, the pattern cut from the material, or the material cut according to pattern is no different from the rest of the material. But, there's a difference use for it; where one is set aside, the other is brought up into a certain pattern. That's what I'm looking at here. "As in Adam all die, even so in Christ all are made alive." So, there's isn't going to be one child of Adam (and Eve was in Adam) that is ever going to be lost. But, there'll be different places, two resurrections, and different capacities fulfilled in future uses in the resurrection. 41. Now, if you don't understand what I mean, pure and simple, the Bride comes up in the First Resurrection. Old and New Testament everyone. They comprise of New Jerusalem. Now, in the first Resurrection also comes up the 144,000 and they serve the Bride as the Bride serves the Groom. In the Second Resurrection all the rest come up, and they will be outside the Holy City and bring their glory into It. And there will be kings out there, there'll be great civilizations. So, you can see what we're saying, "As in Adam all die," They do, every single one will come back. And every single one will take his place, as he's supposed to take his place, and there'll be no friction. This is the thing that people cannot understand amongst Christians, this is the thing where I've had my problems, it started when I began preaching on the Holy Spirit. And I said the church would go forward or backward, depending how they took it. The church went backward. I'm sorry, I might hurt some feelings, but look, I'm not here to hurt feelings, I am here with the Word of God in it. You can do what you want with it. You do what you want. Because, I have no compunction as telling everything and anything concerning this Word. I have never understood competition in the Body of Christ. I have never understood why people wanted to be over anybody. Christ expressed it, "He that is greatest of all is servant of all." Which means you can cooperate with anything and everything as long as it is right. But, somebody wants to, as Bro. Branham said, "Why do they always want to grab the ball and run with it?" 41. Now look, you know I'm the least of the whole bunch, let's face it. You say, "Bro. Vayle, you're just…reverse psychology. I tell you, I realize that people think I use reverse psychology. Look, believe me, get inside of my skin some day and find out, because I'll meet you at the White Throne, or I'll meet you down the road with God, I'm not lying behind this pulpit here. I do not understand competition and I do not understand people want to grab a ball that somebody else has and run with it. Why don't they run interference for the fellow, to help him out? Do you know that I'm the only living man that Bro. Branham could say, "Lee, you're the only one who ever put me forward?" WHY? And I stand here stunned to tell you that. I'm not boasting, I stand here stunned. I am stunned. Why would any man not put him forward? Why would I want to stumble across a stage? Have you ever seen some of the world's greatest acrobats? You're looking at the world's worst. Do you think I'd want to get on a stage where the acrobats are tumbling? 42. I had some kids one time handed to me by a former school teacher who was a good acrobat. And he had trained those kids beautifully, but he didn't know what I knew. And that was I could take every kid he had and improve that child and not know one thing about acrobats, but I said, "Hey, who in this whole school can play the piano?" And you know, nobody could except a little secretary. I said, "I want you, come on." I said, "Now, start giving me some waltz time." And I said, "I want you kids, everyone of you that acrobats, I want you to get into the rhythm." And I had every one of those kids doing acrobats to music, and we stole the whole show. I was co-operating with the man who was ahead of me. And we turned out a beautiful performance, they said they never seen equaled at anytime. Now, I didn't have any talent as an acrobat. So therefore not being a prophet William Branham, what do you do? You co-operate and you put him forward. You don't try to grab a ball and run. I've never seen carnality anywhere in my life as I see in a church. Because, people don't understand what we're talking about here. Everybody has a place, and when you get out of place, or you get diseased, spiritually speaking, you have one horrible terrible problem. 43. Now, we're looking at this business here, they all die in Him, but in Christ they're all made alive. And over there you better believe there's not going to be any juggling for position, because you'll be told your position. And wonderfully, everyone will adhere to that position and love it. Now, it's in the Second Resurrection when the devil's bunch come up, and they're told categorically, "look, you just flunked out, you're washed out." What do they try to do? They try to run and take the kingdom over, and fire comes down out of Heaven. "So, as in Adam all die, and even so in Christ all are made alive." It's a beautiful natural process, nobody is bucking anybody. People are trying to co-operate. People are trying to help each other. 44. I was just thinking today, and maybe that's why this question was written here. Go back to the Book of Matthew 25:33, the fact of looking at some of the most wonderful things ever said. (33) …he shall set the sheep on his right hand, the goats on the left. (34) …the King (shall) say (to) them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: (35) For I was an hungred, and (you) gave me meat: I was thirsty, (you) gave me drink: I was a stranger, and (you) took me in: (36) Naked, and (you) clothed me: I was sick, and (you) visited me: I was in prison, and (you) came unto me. (37) Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when (did) we (see you hungry), and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? (38) When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? (39) …when (did) we (you) sick, or in prison, and (come) unto thee? (40) And the King shall answer… Now listen, He's the king now my brother/sister, remember the queen is with Him, this is not the queen. This is not a bunch of nations gathered together like after Armageddon. That's a bunch of hogwash, this is the White Throne judgment. (40) …(He said) Verily I say, Inasmuch as (you) have done it unto the least of these my brethren, (you've) done it unto me. And people are trying to pray, they're trying to fast, they're trying to be big-shots, they're trying to be something to God. Serve your brother, my brother, my sister, and you will be doing something. Now, people wonder where that I have that I have today if I have anything at all? I serve Bro. Branham. 44. People from Canada they don't like the thought that I said that if Bro. Branham had wanted my wife, he could have had her. Ahhh, they shudder. They don't know the Bible. David could have had Bathsheba, all he had to do is ask for her. Now, Bro. Branham didn't want my wife, nor would I want his wife. But, I want to let people know I gave. I did. Everything that I had was laid at his feet. It paid off. Yes, it paid off, you bet it did. People don't understand these things. That's why they want to cut my throat tonight, and I put it on tape, I care less. I can name you…I'll name you names if you want. My best buddies. My very best buddies. Now look, I know I stink. I know I'm rotten. I have no problem there. Now, let me tell you one thing, I serve prophet William Branham. (Yeah) And in doing it, I serve God. I have served my brethren. Sure it was hard at times, not the way I should. I'm not a paragon of virtues. No, no. I'm going to tell you something: if you people want to lay up treasure, you'll have to get next to yourselves and do it that way, there's no other way you're going to get anywhere. "Because, he that is greatest of all, is servant of all." So, we're looking at these things. 45. Okay, let's go a little further now: [1 Corinthians 15:) (22) …as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. All right, Hebrews 2:9 says: (9) But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that by the grace of God (he) should taste death (not)for every man. (That word 'man' is not in the original; it should be interpolated there in italics.) For every what? Let's find out: (10) …it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. Now, who did He taste death for? Every son. "As in Adam all die, in Christ all are made alive." 46. You go back to Matthew 25, there's not one thing mentioned His death. There's not thing mentioned about grace. There's not one thing mentioned about anything in there. Just said, "Look, you did this." There's all your foolish virgin coming in, the whole bunch. There's everybody coming in there on the grounds of the fact that the Blood was already shed. That's one thing that I say…that look, these people argue, "Is there Blood on the Mercy Seat? Where's the Blood? Where's this?" Listen, as long as there is a Lamb the Blood has been shed and I'll never be changed. I don't know why people worry. They want to worry of everything. Fuss about everything. I can't buy it. That's why I don't worry. Is there an Intercessor? Is there a Mediator? Sure, as far as I'm concerned. I'm not God, I don't know. Are there more coming in? I hope so, I don't know. You know my own understanding, it's not an understanding, it's my own thinking. Call it understanding I think I'd be abusing the term. Call it my own thinking. Not my own desires, but my own thinking. There is a great possibility my brother, my sister, that we have taken the first step toward the Resurrection, the door could be closed. I don't know, it's got to close someday. The Gentile Bride has got to be all over. Well, the squeeze hasn't come down. But, then again perhaps the squeeze signifies that there's nothing left. Wouldn't the squeeze signify that the Bride has to get out of here, so therefore she's made up? Because why? The Blood of the foolish virgin must be shed. They've got to die. They'll die by the millions likely. These people I talk about, like this Searfass(?) and those people to understand who the Catholic is. Understand what the mark of the beast is. They understand it. They're not for organization, they fight the Roman Catholic church. You got a lot of people that never where fooled over the ages, and they're going to have to come up in that Second Resurrection. (Yep.) 47. "As in Adam all die," [1 Cor 15:22] every single true son. And I believe they all in Adam. I don't care by election, I don't care how messed up our flesh is, that doesn't bother me one little bit, I'm with Bro. Branham. He said, "The virgin birth is a very simple thing along side of God tracing down that person in an ordinary birth to bring that one in." "As in Adam all die, everyone in Christ made alive." I believe that. That's what I believe is in this Word here based on what Bro. Branham taught. I can't prove it, that's just my thinking on it, that's what I preach, that's what I believe. 48. Okay.[Question five:] "Could you explain the Token being Evening Light today?" Well, to me it's very, very simple. Bro. Branham made categorical statements on the Token, and there's about three tapes on It, Shreveport and Bakersfield, and Jeffersonville. I like Bakersfield the best of the works. I like it the best, it's the clearest, and I believe that Bro. Sproule had it printed up in Canada, so it's available. I don't think it was ever done in Jeffersonville, although I did give them a manuscript, it was never done. But, that's par for the course. But, in there Bro. Branham explains more carefully and it's easier to understand in Bakersfield, how that you are born again, all through all the ages. Many people in his meetings were born again, many people were never born again. He asked, he said, "They must be born again," because that is the Word of God. You must be born again. But, when he said, "The Evening Light is the only time that the Token could be applied." And talking about the time of the evening of the Exodus, you are dealing with another subject. You are dealing with the fact that everybody who is now born again at the end-time. The last little group that are born again, they will be building around the very Headship of the Presence of the Holy Spirit Himself. And that is that Head, Capstone which came down. And that is that sealing that you're looking at. In other words, there is nothing more to come. 49. Now, what we looked at the other day on the board here, and sort of get the picture; Bro. Branham is supposed to have drawn this. [Bro. Vayle uses a board] And I wouldn't be surprised that he did this. [draws on board] Let's bring it down to here. Now, in during 'A Stature of a Perfect Man' [62-10-14] from which this is taken, love, and what's this…brotherly kindness, and so on. He said, "See those little lines," now that's the same thing we mentioned up here before, see. Word, coming down through here. Okay, what's coming every time, (see, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, you got Seven Church Ages,) you had the Word come down. See, I've explained this before, comes down here. All right, the people build around it, building blocks. 50. All right, the next stage a measure came down and that's your building blocks. Next stage, a measure came down, and so on, and so on, and so on. All right, the Seven Church Age by the end of that time in William Branham's Message there was nothing more to come down. Okay, at that particular time then, if there's nothing more to come down, and all things remember, come down, It said, "From whom the head every joint supplieth," [Eph 4:16] because it comes for the Head here. There's only one thing left, and That is for that to come down. See, that's all that's left. Now, this is where the Thunder people made their big mistake in my estimation. They tried to reduced this one here [points to the board] love, (what do you call those, well it boils right down to [someone says, "virtue"] virtue, to a emotion, yeah, virtue that's what it is. 51. Now, God is not a virtue. See, that's the trouble [blank spot on tape] that it was going to come to them. Now, no way, it's not going to come here either. See, I have nothing in my mind that suggests that we are a group here and comprise an entity. Because, of any physical presence the Bride is all over the world, where ever she is, especially, mostly in America of course. And He is in the midst of us. How? Doesn't bother me at all, because He's God. See? All right, now, all this is come down here, there's nothing left. Now, this group here at the end is a super, super little group that's built around the Presence. (See?) Now therefore, when the Seals were off, (cut-off) hindering (see) [using board] the complete revelation. Now, who was It that came down amongst the Seven Mighty Angels? Christ did. Every day the Spirit in the form of a messenger came, and Christ was completely revealed. Now, the super, super Church is built here at this end-time. And there will be a super, super race approaching unto Him. Now, see when all this here is completed, [using board] now this is spiritual not physical. Now, when this One that's in our midst, now not here, they're gone. The One that's in our midst now. Okay, now let the dead come out of the ground, (see?) Seven Church Age come up first. Here's where the dead is up here now. [using board] The Seven Church Ages. Now, Six comes up, then right down to the last one. Okay, here we're all physical with Him in the midst, because Bride is completely resurrected, that's resurrected Bride. 52. Okay, now, the last thing He does, because He came down set Himself as Head of the Church to raise the dead. Now these [pointing] aren't raised yet. He said here amongst us to raise these, because, "These without us cannot be made perfect." [Heb 11:40b] "That which is perfect has come," [1 Cor 13: 10] so therefore you expect perfection, the consummation. Okay, now when God's through dealing with us, then the sixth comes up, five comes up, four comes up, three comes up, two comes up, one comes up and here we are. Now then, we are all changed. Now, we are all physical. And that Spirit that's in our midst has got to become incarnated to us. He's here to raise the dead. Now that the dead are raised, He must be incarnated. So what happens? Bro. Branham said in the First Seal, "As a Spirit that's here goes up, (now we're going up with It see?) the devil comes down to get incarnated down here." Okay, when we go up here, here's your Wedding Supper. (your Marriage Supper) All right, here's the Lamb, and the Lamb has descended to meet in here [using board] is a complete physical One, complete incarnation. Right? And down here…is a Bride completely physically one body too. 53. So, that's what you're looking at here about this business of the Token being the Evening Light. The Token being applied at the evening time, the Evening Light has come, it is a fact that God in Christ are one. What is the Evening Light, of course is the revelation of the Word. Where the Word of this hour is being completely energized and suffused [spread over] with the power of God. Now, all through the Ages you must be 'born again'. See, that's been suffused with life. Justification, that was suffused and the life went out of it, going into denomination. Sanctification that was suffused and the life went out, denomination. Pentecost, baptism and restoration of gifts that was suffused at that time, the life went out and there they are. Now, where is the life today? The Life is in the complete revealed Word which the Word of the hour is, He descends in order to set Himself at the Head of the Church. Now, that's that little bit right here [points to the board] and raise the dead. So, where is the life today? The Life is in one place, that's in: "I am the Resurrection and the Life." [Jn 11:25] That's where It is, see, right here. [points to the board] Now, that's where we're coming into, the Life is in the restored Word, there is no Life outside of this Message, because now you've got everything all together, the Seals are open, all the loose ends are taken up, there's nothing left, All in all. 54. So, that's what at here. You're not looking at a lot of people thought you're looking at, see, they went around preaching and saying, "Well, nobody's got anything," I know a certain fellow went to Toronto and I'd been up there ahead of him and so he was (you know) preaching and there was a certain brother there, and he said, "I'll tell you what, (he said,) I know that Lee does not believe the way you believe." He said, "There's no way Lee believes what you believe." And he said, "I'm sure that Lee does," he said, "and I'm sure Lee doesn't." So, finally the guy prevailed on everybody to stand up to acknowledge that now they're going to get the real Holy Ghost. But, what he was saying was what Bro. Branham didn't say. Bro. Branham said, "I know the majority of you have received the Holy Ghost, but some of you haven't." You see? Now, he was telling them that they didn't have the Holy Ghost. So, he had them all stand up to receive something. So, when I got there I said, "Now, just a minute," I said, "what did you get?" Now, I said, "You gave away what you had, because you denied It." Now you see, we're on very serious grounds here. If you accuse Bro. Branham of what people believe, then Luther was not born again. And if Luther was not born again, Luther was not the messenger, because he was more than born again, he was a messenger. He was actually the Holy Spirit to the people at that hour, "because he that hath an ear to hear the Spirit," said the Spirit was dealing with one man, not the messenger church which is in Thyatira, and Sardis, Philadelphia, Laodicea, see, right down the line. 55. So, at the end time…oh, let's just go and take a look at it. Revelation 3:14. He categorically says here: (14) …unto the (messenger) of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; Now, at the end It says: (22) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says… (but God is only talking to one man, and that man's William Branham. That man's a prophet, that's Revelation 10:7.) All right, now, you've already got the Holy Ghost or you couldn't listen. Because the evidence of being born again, or full of the Holy Ghost is the fact that you receive the Word of God for the hour; your ears opened. There's a place in you for that Word. All right, Bro. Branham was not saying what they thought he said. 56. Now then, the Holy Spirit Himself is here sealing a Bride in. The Bride that has already been sealed. Now, let's look at it, come on, Ephesians 1:13. (13) In whom (you) also trusted, after (you) heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after (you) believed, (you're) sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, (14) Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. (Okay, now that's it. That's the baptism of the Holy Ghost.) Now watch: (15) Wherefore, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, (16) (You that are full of the Holy Ghost, I'm praying for you.) (17) That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you (now) the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: That's something you don't have. Now, that's not to the individual, that's to the whole church. Why? Because the individual is not going to be raised from the dead, it's all are going to be raised from the dead and the Bride, or nobody's going to get raised. The individual is not going to get raptured, the whole Church is going to get raptured. And It said right here, they are raised and they are raptured when that Spirit comes. And that's the Spirit that seals it off, there's no more. Evening Light has come. There's a fact that God and Christ are one. A major revelation, the whole thing comes into line and there you are. Now, this is the thing you see, where I preach the Presence. They don't believe It. 57. Like one kid not dry behind the ears said, "Well, (he said) what's the big deal? He's always been here." Has he, then why hasn't there been a resurrection? Now come on, this is no time for phony excuses. We're looking at the Word of God the way the prophet taught it. Preacher said, "Well, I did hear the tapes negatively." I didn't even ask him to hear the tapes. I tell you right now, I wouldn't be the one to give it to him. You say, "You a cross dog in a manger?" No. He already said he's negative, why bother? I never got this by voices talking to me. I got this because I knew I didn't know what the prophet was saying. So, I waited and God told me, showed me what it was, took me right to Scripture. Now, they're trying to tell me and say, "Well…" Now, somebody say, "That's the Roman Catholic doctrine." Where did he get that from? Go to the Diaglott, Bro. Branham commended the Diaglott, it's His Presence, Matthew 24. 58. Go to Ivan Pannes(?) numeric's, the greatest Greek student the world's ever seen, pure genius. And I knew his protégé Dr. Hoyer, and I still know him, he's still living. I just have a hard job getting to him, one of these days I'll go to Chicago and sit there until I get him. And he will tell you how you raise your eyebrows, how you use your hands, your facial expressions and preach to you from the Hebrew and Greek both. And Ivan Pannes says, "Presence." So, I want to ask you a question: who's going to raise the dead? Bro. Branham said, "He's here to raise the dead." And I'm going to tell you something: He was not here previously to raise the dead. No way, shape or form. Because he said, "If He is here in the Spirit as He was in the flesh, I'm going to tell you, how many people did Jesus make when he was here in the flesh." One. Then all right, what Spirit is here? One. Who's here? Elohim's here. The Judge is here. I'll tell you one thing, we keep forgetting the gates of hell is against It. Rave on ye gates of hell and do your best. You shall not do well I can tell you that. Yeah, the God of Heaven doesn't allow leaven, let's get that flat. (See?) We're not here merchandizing our souls. We're here because He's here. Let's understand that flat, either William Branham lied, or he told the truth, because Paul said, "You that have the Holy Ghost, I'm praying just one more …?... , because I've seen your love." And that's what Bro. Branham said, "The love sweeps into the Church, and Paul heard of that love and he heard of that faith." And Bro. Branham said, "We don't have faith hardly for healing the sick, but (he said) there's going to be Rapturing faith." And he said, "That love is going to be in the Church." And Paul said, "I see it, that Spirit." He said, "Now, the next thing, (he said) I pray that that Spirit takes over. (See?) Revelation raising the dead and the Rapture. Bro. Branham put the whole thing in order for us. "All right (he said) the Spirit is here." He said, "He's here." The next thing of course after the Word now comes a sweet Spirit in the Church, letting us know it's ready for the Resurrection, and from the Resurrection goes the Rapture. I don't know what people want, it's their business. I did not teach this for controversy. I never went to anybody's church and said you've got to believe it. Not one time was that ever done. I merely preach this as explanatory, and exploratory. And I saw person after person weep… [tape ends abruptly] Question and Answers (1983) - Page PAGE 23
