Mysteries of God Bro. Lee Vayle date: ? 1972 [Note: audio quality is very poor through the message] a. I’m happy to be back here with you, tonight. I think I was here April 7th, if I remember. [inaudible comments] …and it’ll be just a little message that I have brought. My services will of course, start on Saturday again, which gives you a chance to take a little rest when we can. Some have traveled quite a distance, and also, it gives me an opportunity to teach. [inaudible] … and then Sunday morning, and also Sunday evening. Whatever time services are on Sunday. Some services are in the afternoon in various places, otherd in the morning and night. And we do this on various subjects, and I think my ability, [inaudible] …the end-time ministry and how it of course, it’s clear at times. The Bible says that man doesn’t know the difference between righteousness, and unrighteousness. b. And of course, there’s the great deception of unrighteousness within the church. And that’s the reason I’m going to bring the message tonight on the ‘Mysteries of God’. I’ve got a chance to say something specific, but, study them generally, in order to bring to them the ‘Mysteries of Iniquity’ on Saturday night…or rather, Sunday night. The Mystery of Iniquity, but, this will give you an understanding of the mysteries themselves. Basically, so we have a better understanding of this Bible, and It teaches these various mysteries. Now, just how long I'll take, but now let’s just bow our heads and ask the Lord to help us at the start of this service. Gracious Heavenly Father, we know that Thou art not a God Who is far off, but Thou art a God that is nigh. Lord, you’ve made it at this end-time so that You can be amongst anybody who wants to believe, regardless of their dogma, or condition. You manifest forth in gifts. That’s fine, for those, Lord, and we appreciate Your great ability to do wonderful things amongst us into all truth, to keep us out of error, to deep us out of end time deception. This is so perverse and iniquitous. And only the very Elected, will not be deceived. So, Lord, thank You tonight, that You're not in denial of those that call upon You. But, You indwell them to give us the truth in our hearts move tonight. “Man will not live by bread alone,” but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God." Lord, we pray now, You'll be with us lip to ear, Lord, that there might be an understanding of Your Word, Lord. We'll be prepared to give You the glory in Jesus' Name. Amen 1. Now, we’d like to turn tonight to just one little Scripture, Revelation 10:7 We’ll read many more. (7) But in the days of the voice of the seventh (messenger) when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as (God) hath declared (by) his servants the prophets. Now, in the Bible there are many mentions of many mysteries. And it’s just for all to be finished at the end-time. Brought into elimination, and consummation, according to the Word of God. They’ll be revealed by the Seventh Church Age messenger. Now, some of these mysteries that the Bible sets forth, such as; the Mystery of godliness. Over in 1 Timothy 3:16 says, (16) And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 2. Then there is a Mystery of Iniquity, I suppose the very opposite to the Mystery of Godliness. That’s over in, 2 Thessalonians 2:7 (7) For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now (hindereth) will (hinder), until he be taken out of the way. Then, there’s a Mystery concerning Israel’s blindness. How that it be decided to work amongst Israel, and by Bible Scripture, they just won’t come in. And that’s over in, Romans (25) For I would not, brethren, that (you) should be ignorant of this mystery, lest (you) should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And it’s also that Mystery of the great harlot, the Babylonian system. It’s set forth in, Revelation 17:5 (5) And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 3. And of course, there’s another mystery in 1 Corinthians 15:51, and this mystery is about how there’s going to be a people get into the Resurrection, that’s the same thing as the Resurrection of our bodies. Because, you’ve got to die in order to be resurrected. And that 51st verse, (51) Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, Now, these are just a few of the mysteries in the Bible. And the reason I brought these to your attention, is because in each place the word, ‘mystery’ is set forth in connection with a phonetic structure. Whether it would be the Mystery of godliness, Mystery of iniquity, the Mystery of Israel’s blindness, the Mystery of Babylon the harlot, the Mystery of a Bride who would change the same results as though she died, yet, she doesn’t die. Now, let us consider what a mystery is. Because, I’m afraid here is where many people simply don’t know what a mystery is, because, they haven’t gone to the Bible, to find out. 4. Now first of all, it is certainly not something about which you can know nothing, or there would be no point in even mentioning it. You know, soon as people hear that word, ‘mystery’, they said, “How hard it is to get.” No, now look, the Bible doesn’t do foolish things like that. The mystery is not something about which we can know nothing. And just followed by many. That’s just about as bad as maybe going to the Travel Lodge, to get yourself a wife. You’ll never get to it. I don’t know about a wife with you, or Sears Roebuck, or somethingI never got to know her. It’s just that foolish, to think there’s a mystery in the Bible you can know nothing about it. God doesn’t do things like that. So, you know, we can know something about them. Now, not only is there something we can know something about, but, neither is there something that’s so mysterious, that it can't be comprehended. See? The word ‘mystery’ is seen to be connected with our English word, ‘mysterious’. See? And this shows us, so now I think that these mysteries are so mysterious and hard to know, we just leave them alone. No! That’s wrong. Because my text says, “At the end-time, the Mystery of God would be perfected and consummated.” They would be brought in to a full revelation. Now, what is a mystery? This is the thing we should find out from the Word of God. All right, let’s go to, Romans 16:25 (25) Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, … Now, the word here in the Greek can be translated ‘even’ not just ‘and’. And many times, when you use the word ‘even’, you’ll notice how much more sensible it is. (25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, (even) the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, … 5. Now, I’ll read it better. Which is "kept secret since the world began." Now, It tells you right here, that according to the revelation of the mystery. Now, if you get a revelation of the mystery, then it can’t be mysterious any longer, because, it’s been revealed to you. In other words, the mysterious element, has actually, been taken out so that you can comprehend, or understand what is being spoken about. Now, let me read this in a more literal translation for you. Romans 16:25 (25) Now to one (that’s God) who is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, (even the proclamation concerning) Jesus Christ, according to the (uncovering, drawing back the curtain, revealing) … the mystery, which (in eternal times has been kept in silence, but now has been made known.) See? It might have been a time, where we could know anything there was about it. There was a time, when you simply would have been guessing to have an opinion. There was a time, when this subject was not forthcoming. That was a long time ago. But It says, “…has been made known.” These prophetic writings according to the mandate of the eternal God. (26) (Having) been made known … (with a view to) the obedience of faith: (among all nations.) 6. Now, how are you going to obey anything that faces what you’re getting into? How can you have obedience? Unless you know what is set before you to obey? See? (27) …God (alone) wise…through Jesus Christ, (to Him be glory) forever (and ever). Amen. Now, let me read It again. (25) Now to (one…that’s God. He) is of power to (establish) you according to my gospel, … Though we can say here, ‘even’ the proclamation that is in Christ. Now, watch it. There is a power to establish according to my gospel. Now what is the Gospel? Let’s look at it. All right. (25) … (even the proclamation concerning) Jesus Christ, (now what about it? What about that proclamation? Listen.) according to the (uncovering) of the mystery, which (at times. It’s been kept in silence. But now has been made known. Not in silence anymore.) 7. It believes the same. It’s been talked about. It’s been brought into view, (Huh?) has made known through prophetic writings according to the mandate of God. God commands to bring these mysteries into view. Bringing them so that we may have a revelation, and know what they are about. What for? In order to obey them. Now, you know the Message just as much as I read. They are telling you an awful lot about William Branham’s Message in the end-time. Then, you say you believe the …?... See? After they said, “God alone wise in Jesus Christ, to be for ever and ever be glory, by a mandate of God.” God gave His commands, that these mysteries be brought into view. Now, It tells you here that the Eternal Word, which to me is God’s foreknowledge. Some that's be in the Book. Some that's not be in the Book. Say, "What do you mean, it’s not in the Book?" What about the time Bro. Branham said, “The secrets of your heart.” That wasn't in here. Say, Mighty God said it. That same foreknowledge, ‘Thus Saith the Lord’ that we saw demonstrated. Here it is, now, God’s Eternal Word. God’s foreknowledge can be made known. It has been made known, said the apostle Paul, so, it is now knowable. Now, listen to this in, Ephesians 3:1-7 (1) For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, (that’s the Gentiles) (2) If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: (3) How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; … Now, we’re going to read something sensitive here. (3) … (as I wrote afore in few words, (4) Whereby, when (you) read, (you) may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) This you see, a mystery is very knowable. Very knowable. This mystery, (5) Which in other (generations not) ages (that’s a wrong word, generations) was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed… 8. See? Now, it wasn’t that somebody didn’t know it way back there, but, they didn’t know it, like they know it now, and that’s exactly where we are today. In Revelation 10:7 there is no age to know what we know, and how we know. See? That’s right. Now, let’s read on. (5) …it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; Notice, that’s why the apostles had their great ministries. Some of them were actually apostles and prophets, God revealing then the mysteries to them. Remember the apostles and prophets, of the fine …?... in the church, these are the two cornerstones. But, the church is built upon revelation. So, the apostolics, take the revelation of God. Now remember the dunamis, …it makes me feel good to think about all these goodies. Now, It says here, (6) That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: That's one of the mysteries right there. Now, you tell me, is that a mystery today? Not at all, [inaudible portion] (7) Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. Colossians 4:3 All right, (3) Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: 9. Now, wouldn’t it be something if Paul was going to tell the people something that he couldn't say anything about, or it was so mysterious, they couldn’t get it. Now, what would that do this faith that Bro. Branham said that everybody’s got faith. Old Mary Hyssop exemplified faith, which anybody could have, to come to Christ. Now, Paul is going to teach something so vast, and so great, so, complicated, so unknowable. All right, it doesn’t add up does it, no. All right. 1 Corinthians 4:1 I’ll be reading Bro. Branham pretty soon, so don’t worry, I’m building up to it. 1 Corinthians 4:1 (1) Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, (even) stewards of the mysteries of God. What is a steward? A steward is a man who controls, and disperses, dispenses, and uses for the welfare and good of his master, what his master puts in his charge. That’s authority. In plain English to make it simpler, a steward is simply a man who was given the wealth of a wealthy person, and he is supposed to minister it in such a way as to do his master real credit. So, Paul was a steward of the mysteries of God. In other words, he was to minister those mysteries in such a way as to bring a simple abundance of that which he ministered, right back to the man that owned it. Ministry. All right. 1 Corinthians 13:2 (2) And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, … 10. And yet people say you can’t understand, …That's not what the Bible teaches. See? Somebody’s got his own idea in there. And when he's got his own idea, he's been tricked by the devil. So the devil says, “Now, you can’t understand that, that’s faith. You’re going to go through that Bible and won't understand anything. And well that isn't sensible. No, it’s not sensible. All right. Let’s go now to, Mark 4:11-12 (11) … Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: (12) That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them. Now, you put that in the sense of you and me receiving revelation from God, which is what we’re supposed to do. And what are we supposed to ask? In seeing, we see, hearing we understand and be converted, turn right back to God. Anytime you slip, the Word brings you right back. See? And our sins are forgiven. Now It says, the world doesn’t have this privilege. But we have it. We are to know, we understand, to see, perceive, these things which are symbolic. Now, the students of religious history, which history is they deal with, from the times of the apostle Paul, have this to say about the word ‘mystery’. Now, many of you have evidence in your dictionaries. Among the ancient Greeks, the mysteries were religious rites and ceremonies, practiced by secret societies, into which anyone who so desired might be received. 11. Those who are initiated into these mysteries, became possessors of certain knowledge, which was not imparted to the uninitiated, and were called the ‘perfected’. Isn’t that what Jesus said here in Mark? He said, “You don’t belong to that other group. They are not initiated into our group.” If they were initiated into or invested, and they were a part of us, then they would be able to see and hear and know. See? Then he said, "They won't be able to." Now, what we’re doing here, is telling you, the word Paul used as ‘mysteries,’ was an ordinary word of the day. It was a knowledge you got only from certain teachers. Then, you received that knowledge, you were called, ‘one of the perfect’. Now, that’s the illustration as from the ancient writings. Now let’s notice, exactly how true and perfect this is, along with what we’re reading. 1 Corinthians 2:1-10 (1) And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. Now, why…the mysteries? (2) For I determined not to know anything among you, save … Christ, and him crucified. (3) And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. (4) And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and … power: (5) That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. (6) Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: … It's the same thing. If you belong to this group, you’re perfect, you’ll understand it, you’ve been trained, so it won't be foolishness to you. Remember the cry for Jesus Christ as suited to the Jews. Unto the …?... and Hebrews. Why? John the Baptist came, and he said, “Behold the Lamb of God, that takes away...” [John 1:29] They said, “You're pointing to a man,” He said, “I'm not pointing to a man. That's the Lamb of God.” They said, “Hold it right there, bud. Where do you find in Scripture, that God could eat the human being, the lamb? It's the lamb who shed blood. We are forbidden to sacrifice the human offering, so get out while the going is good.” Right? 12. We're not going to start anything, it’s …?... God says, “You don’t sacrifice human beings.” Now, He’s going to sacrifice one. You can understand. See? But, to them that are perfect, they say that’s Isaiah 53: They understand the life of the animal cannot come back upon the believer. But the life of the man, could come back upon a man, giving him Eternal Life. If so, he, that man had Eternal Life to give, by the grace of God. What about those Jews? Oh, they smarted. They said, “This man is the Son of God? Oh, God has been coming down for years here. They had our women, and had babies by them. They’d have orgies. Now, you’re telling me this God came down in human form and then he died? Ha ha ha…man, you missed it. Our God said, “You have a ball, he'll beat us over the head.” They'll throw lightning bolts, and thunderbolts and songs. And they said, “Oh, oh, oh, we can’t do.” But, to the initiated, to those that belong. See? Why they said, “That’s God. Look, He’s Father, Son and Holy Ghost.” He was the Father, but now He wants to express Himself as perfect Father, He does it as the Son of man. and He came down here as the sacrifice. Then He said He sent His Spirit back as the Holy Ghost. But, that makes good sense. [said sarcastically] You tell that to the fellow down the street and the Trinitarian seed. Because right now his blood's boiling, and he’s in bad shape. "We can’t follow you at all." He hasn’t been brought into the mysteries. …?... right here. Maybe with my hand before my face, they say, “Oh say, that’s clear.” See? Oh, my brother/sister, we’re living in the realms of revelation today of the mysteries of God. 13. [Now: 1 Corinthians 2:] (7) But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, (the hidden mystery in wisdom) which God ordained before the world unto our glory: (8) Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. That’s exactly why they said it, they didn’t understand. It wasn’t revealed to them. See? But, as it’s written, (9) But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, (what has) entered (into) the heart of man, the things which God (has) prepared for them that love him. (10) But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. Okay. Galatians 1:11-12 (11) But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. (12) For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. Now, with that don’t forget what we read back here in Romans 16:25 (25) Now to him that is of power to (establish) you according to my gospel, (even) the preaching of Jesus Christ, (which is all) according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, 14. How many of you tonight would love to have Paul as a teacher? Everybody. Well, what for? He wasn’t going to teach you nothing. Roll off those mysteries? No. See? It doesn’t gel, the mysteries can be known. They are knowable. It’s just that there is a certain group of people know them, and another certain group who never know them. But they can be known. Now, thus we can see what the mysteries are. The mysteries are absolutely the revealed Food, the revealed Food of the Word of God to the Elect. They are the revealed Food to the Elect. That’s what they are. Remember how Nicodemus came to Jesus by night? [John 3:2-5] (2) … and (he) said …, Rabbi, (You know You’re a man sent) from God: (because)… (nobody) can do (the works) that (You do unless) God be with him. (3) (And)Jesus … said, (Nicodemus,) a man (must) be born again, … (4) (He said, What are you talking about? He said) …can a man be born (a)… second time (by entering) into his mother's womb, and (come forth)? (5) (He said, No (he said) you don’t understand. Unless you’re) born of water and (even) the Spirit, (you) cannot enter … the kingdom of God. If you can`t see It, you can’t enter It. Now you see, those are mysteries. But they are not actually mysteries, but they are great truths of tremendous depth. Absolute, fundamental truth. But, Nicodemus couldn’t get It at that time. See? Now, notice what It says in John 3:27 here: (27) John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. 15. This Word of God cannot be immediate. We cannot get It, unless God has given to us, in the sense of election, so that we may be able to understand It. Now, don’t forget to put the emphasis on revelation. Because, this is where Bro. Branham put it. This is where Paul put it. And a mystery without a revelation is mysterious. It’s baffling, it’s confusing, actually, it is pretty well suicidal. That’s right, to attempt to figure out the Word of God on your own. It takes a divine revelation, will bring you to death. Just like it did Israel. Let’s not do it. So, I say, don’t forget to put the emphasis on revelation. So, you can coordinate what I am saying with what Bro. Branham taught us, when he defined a mystery according to Dr. Schofield. Which he did, …what he said, right in the book. A mystery in Scripture, is a previously hidden truth, now divinely revealed. Getting it, a supernatural element remains, despite the revelation. See? So, …?... …?... He said, “No matter how clear you get on any truth in the Word of God, it’s always something in there, which you’ve got to believe. You just can’t make it to one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, it maybe you have five…seven. You say, “I just don’t place that six.” Don’t worry about it. In due season, if God wants it, you’ll get it. See? There’s a little something in there, that maybe you just can’t make this go so, so further. You’ll get it anyway. So, if you know so much about it, one God, explain this. Now, I’ll tell you, I don’t know if I could explain it, and you don’t feel bad at all. 16. Because, you know down in here, from what went on up in here, that this, and this, and this Bible, are all together. Now, you might not have one little point but, that doesn’t bother you any. Oh, it might make the other fellow think that he’s got you on the run now. Then he could turn right around with Trinitarian dogma, and have a lot of fun with him too. I mean, you just like [inaudible] …what I’m trying to tell you here, it is clear that it’s real, but there may be some little thing you just can’t quite line up. Like, you hear preachers say, “I know that’s right.” How do you know it? That’s a very good question. At this minute, I can’t tell you how I know it…but, I know it. And do you know something? You know, when the day comes when that Scripture comes like that. I remember that time Bro. Branham said that the evidence of receiving the Holy Ghost, and having received the Holy Ghost, was to receive the Word for your day. In other words, to be fully exposed to that Word for your day, and that Word expose itself to you in that day, you get together. I said, “Amen, that’s right.” I don’t know… [inaudible] …with two going down the road, putting. I said, “That’s great. I sure appreciate it. I’m sure what he said, but what is his Scripture ? Just like that voice in Jerusalem said, the Bible is full of them. Huh. It’s full of it, John 14: , John 16: , 1 Cor. , and so on all down the line, the Bible’s full of it. See? Now, back in there, like we said that this revelation, we believe it. It’s given to us. We understand it, maybe ninety-eight percent. That’s all right, we believe it a hundred percent, and it matters a percent. A little something, in there but remember, Jesus said, “The other fellow wouldn’t get it all.” 17. He said, “I just give My Word, and a real …?... mystery to them.” But, He said, “To you, you will know the mysteries of the kingdom of God.” In other words, you can’t explain the truth with perfect understanding, to any natural mind. Amen. You can’t explain it personally to a natural mind. But God, gets you …?... Now, let’s go to John 16: notice. It’s a revelation of the Spirit of God. (12) I have yet many things to say unto you, but (you) cannot bear them now. How would you like someone come and tell you that? You’ve been around Jesus for about three and a half years, you thought you knew Me, with everything you got. And then one day He comes to you and says, “I’m going to tell you something, I’ve got a lot of things to tell you yet, but you haven’t got what it takes to hear it in the end.” He said, “Now hold it,” That’s exactly what He told them. He said, “You don’t have what it takes, so it’s no use Me telling you.” Now, if you haven’t got the Holy Ghost, you’ll never know these mysteries. Right? If you’re not baptized with the Holy Ghost brother/sister, though you might get it down here just perfect by having a fine mind. And be a very fine theologian to the world. You’ll never make one of God’s theologians, you won’t do it. 18. You have to be born into the kingdom of God. You have to be one of the initiates. Yes sir. You’ve got to be in that body. You’ve got to be full of the Holy Ghost. And then, and only then, can you bear it. You say, “What’s that to you?” Ooh ya, humph ah. “I’ve got fifty preachers, did you hear what he said? Well I hear he’s dead now, but too bad he didn’t die before he wrote that book.” In fact, I think we better get that book by telling them the truth…and burn those books and keep them from before the believers. See? Now, don’t think that hasn’t already been said. Bro. Branham was hardly cold in the grave, and that very same fellow said… [inaudible] …See? Don’t talk to me about serpent seed. I love it. See my eyes snap? That’s about the only time I get any snapping, in my eyes. I’ve got to keep the rest under control. Ha ha ha. Listen, I want to tell you I’ve got that buried in my soul. Because, when that serpent seed doctrine came into view, and by understanding he’s a Spirit of God. So, right down the line, watch it move, and watch it move. See? That’s what Jesus told them. Said, [John 16:13] (13) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth… Paul was able to go. (13) …for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and (so on.) 19. Now, let me quote from 'The Anointed Ones at The End Time' [65 07 25] 262] …the Third Pull was the opening of the Seven Seals, to reveal the hidden Truth that has been sealed in the Word. The mystery came down from God as the Word of God. Because, the mysteries are or is, the Word of God, and reveals the entire revelation of God. I just want to put this thought in here, I’m not trying to bypass something, from what Bro. Brahman didn’t say. I will stay right with what he said. Now, you can see actually then, from what we’ve got tonight, that the mysteries actually, equate to doctrine. Mysteries are actually doctrine. God’s wisdom or truth transmitted to man, in order that he may comprehend as far as his human limitations…even knowing God by the Holy Spirit, he will allow the Holy Spirit to take him. Remember, we are still human. We are like that grain of seed, wheat kind of, in the cocklebur. And though there is a body coming up out of the wheat, there still is that old rough fellow, called the cocklebur. 20. And so, the Holy Spirit reveals to us as far as He possibly can because of our present ministrations, the exalted beautiful Word of God, It comes into view. Now, this is why there is always that element, of supernatural remaining even though the teaching is the fullest possible. And I’m sure that everybody that ever brought anything from God, knew that there would be limitations in his ability to put that Word across. Think of the prophet receiving something from God, that they themselves, only knew a part of. You say, frustrating. Sure. But, at the end-time, it shall be light about the evening time. Now then, since we speak that these mysteries are the great truths, the formerly hidden truths, that have come down to us to be able to see It. They are the cardinal doctrines to the Word of God. We want to study something about these mysteries. How they come to the people, how do you see them? All right. I'm going to give you about eight points tonight, this portion. Only men gifted by God, can bring any revelation to the Elect. Repeat. Only men who are gifted by God, can bring any revelation to the Elect. All right, let’s go to, Ephesians 3:7-[9] (7) Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. (8) Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; (9) And to make all … see (I’ve got to get the truth… Paul said…) the fellowship of the mystery, which (before times eternal) hath been hid in God, who created all things by Christ (Jesus): Okay. 1 Corinthians 4:1 (1) Let a man so account of us, (Paul, Timothy, Titus, the brethren) as … the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. 21. Stewards, those who keep in charge in this sense for the welfare of the owner, the goods…that’s back there. These ones that God ordained, placed in the church, so that they would be entrusted to handle the Word of God for the people. Now, you notice he said in Ephesians 3:7 Paul was gifted to bring the revelation. Who was the original gifted, man. Right. No one else was gifted. Peter was not gifted to bring the message to the Gentiles. John was not gifted. No sir. Paul was gifted. Literally, gifted. You know, the world today is talking about the charismatic teachers. Because of a …?... certain charisma…yeah. A sign of the times, that we would have the charisma amongst us…in a prophet and turned it down. Paul was given the privilege by grace. And remember, grace runs before election. There’s no grace without the election. Now, he said he was grace gifted to bring the original revelation. And remember, this abides all through Seven Church Ages. Paul was the First Messenger. Iraeneus was the Second, and every single Age remember, it all starts by the Holy Spirit, revealing Christ to the Messenger, and bringing the Word for the day. And every Age has its same admonition. [Revelation 3:] (22) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. But the Spirit is speaking to one man especially, who in turn, places it together. And as Paul said, [2 Timothy 2:] (2) …(who) will (teach) faithful men, (that they in turn will) teach others.” They’re gifted men. See? God has entrusted the mysteries to the Messengers, and a dedicated five-fold ministry. 22. The mysteries of God, the revelation, do not come through the ordinary church membership. If it did, Elijah would not have been a prophet messenger. It would have been a group. So many people still think today, that the Word of God is going to come through different ones getting together. And so, we can truly have to have, …that is not true. The Word of God comes by the Messenger of the day, of the Age, of the hour. And those to whom God has entrusted the Word. He gives you teachers, He gives you pastors who are able to teach, He gives you elders that are able to teach, He gives you evangelists who must base every sermon on the Word of God, or he tells you a bunch of junk because, he talks about mother. Now mother’s a sweet woman, but never when it comes to the Lord Jesus Christ. She’s not in the picture, nor the father and the uncle, nor the brothers, they’re not in the picture. It is Jesus, and Jesus only. Remember, even Moses and Elijah were not in the picture. “This is My beloved Son here.” [Matthew 3:17] Yeah. See? So, it’s got to be that Word. Because, Christ is that Word. See? God entrusts men, and in every Age, a special one. And remember the Word 'star', as I’ve explained here before, in the Greek is not simply a luminary, or a light holder. But, it’s the one to whom God has given the pre-eminence. See? The pre-eminent one amongst many like him. See? A preacher wearing the same kind of clothes, same hat, same shoes, same language. And maybe not quite as good an education, as somebody else has. And God says, “I pick him”. It’s very hard to sit still, and listen to a man. 23. And the church has that Laodicean spirit in it. You know, that spirit has “I don’t have to listen to anybody, but, I’ve got the Holy Ghost”. Isn’t that silly. Then why did God say…in the church? See? These too, these cardinal doctrines, the Word of God, the depth of the wisdom of Almighty God, has been entrusted to Seven Church Age Messengers. And with any to those Age that God raises up, to teach the Word to the people. Now, that doesn't say the people aren’t on the edge of getting things. No, because you will still have to teach everybody. But remember, these are the guides to make sure we’re thinking right. We’re going right. Now, think of it. Only gifted men, can separate and coordinate the truth for the Bride. To simply know these mysteries, allows contradiction of the Word. And then, the Bible fights the Bible. The whole Word, must be reconciled to one body of truth. One living body Word. I want to repeat that. It’s given to the messengers, and to those that God raises up, to teach. In His body, in the five-fold ministry, the Bible ministry, [inaudible portion] God gives them the ability to coordinate the fruit in the Word of God. Because if you don’t understand coordination of the fruit, you get the Bible fighting the Bible. See? Now let’s say the one I had in mind a while ago. Rom. 11:25 now Paul says, (25) … I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest (you) should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 24. Now, I want to ask you a question. How many people know that one, right, tonight? You’ve got to run to the Jews, and run to the Jews, and run to the Jews. And it won’t do you any good, because God cannot bring in Israel, until they’re through with their blindness, and that is not through until the last Elected Gentile member of the body of Christ, comes in. Now you see, if we did not have the divine revelation concerning this mystery, we’d begin to have the Word fight the Word. Because, the Bible by Paul said, “To the Jew first, and also to the Gentiles.” Well now listen, it it's to the Jew first, and also, then we ought to be running to be every Jew saved. Forget it. Forget it. I’ve just got the Bible fighting the Bible. That’s what’s wrong today. That’s why you’ve got denominations. That’s why you’ve got fussing, and people fussing at each other. And instead of pulling together, they’re pulling apart. Why? Because evidently, there is some teaching amongst the people, by the wrong teachers. Not just us. Follow the world, so-called the Christian world. That’s where you’ve got a Baptist, and a Presbyterian. Now, the Bible does not fight the Bible. Why? Because God is the Word, and Jesus said concerning the devil, “If the devil casts out the devil, then Satan is divided, and his kingdom falls, and if God fights God, then His kingdom is divided, and God falls.” Right? [Mt 12:26] Then how can the Word fight the Word? Can’t do it. There’s a place of reconciliation. And that can only come, by a man like the apostle Paul, and the messenger for the Age, who seeketh the truth, so the Word becomes reconciled. Otherwise, you just have a thought. 25. Now, you can see why there is such fighting and doctrine. The thing is, there are not very many true messengers, or teachers, or five-fold ministry. Now, let’s take a look at this. Eph 4:11. (11) And (God) gave some, apostles; prophets; evangelists; pastors and teachers; (five-fold ministry) (12) For the perfecting of the saints, (alright, for the what? Perfecting . He's the perfect one, the top One. Those little perfect, they're …?... to the Bride and how? For the Word of God says:) for the edifying of the body of Christ: (13) Till we all come in the unity of the faith, … Now, you know there can be no unity of faith brother/sister, until we all believe the same revealed thing. Because you cannot have true faith, unless it’s based upon a true revelation. Because Paul said, “If we say that God raised Jesus, and God raised Him not, your faith is vain.” Huh? What’s going to happen when the Holy Ghost falls upon a certain place? Or see some certain thing that would happen down here …?... Get your Bibles, find out. Lay it on the line. If they had the experience of running up to somebody you thought you knew, because he looked like somebody you didn't know and find out it was the wrong guy. I had it happen to me once, most embarrassing thing, that ever happened…well it’s not the most embarrassing thing that ever happened in my life. But I think one of the most embarrassing things. This guy was a dead ringer…that's for the guy who wasn’t there. One fellow said that to me, he thought I was his cousin. All I said, “Fellow, I sure …that’s nice of you, but I sure wouldn’t put my lips on the other guy. That guy’s sure got a bigger inferiority complex than I’ve got”. But I said, "I ain’t him either." All the faith in the world, only plummets into destruction, if it is not based on reality. See? Now, God gave these men, not to go to some Bible school. No. Not to go to some seminary. But to hear the messenger of the Age, and in every generation, God would raise up these faithful men, to pastor His flock, until the new messenger came, with the additional Word of God. 26. Now, let me show you something here. Let’s go back to the Book of Matthew 7:15 (15) Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, inwardly they are ravening wolves. The inside man is the wolf, the outside man is a sheep. It should be the other way around. My he acts nice and sweet. You’d say he’s a real man of God. Sure, he is. He’s not a wolf in wolf’s clothing. But it’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. In other words, he’s a hypocrite. Make believer. (16) (You) shall know them by their fruits... Now, you know you don’t get fruit off of sheep, you get wool off of sheep. Now, he’s really putting the mystery down right here now to confuse the general public. Good thing we had a prophet explaining it. (16) … Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? (17) Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit. He that does not corrupt, brings for good fruit. Bro. Branham said that would…people preaching the Word. God has an absolute genuine five-fold ministry. So, would He tell you a lie? He wouldn’t teach you anything wrong. He would never make a disciple out of you. But would be only one thing, and that would be to take you to the Word of God. And if something came up into a camp, they wouldn't try to take you to their camp. They just lay the Word of God down, you do what you want. But you’re not in it. God’s jealous. Now, you’ve got the false ones too. 27. Sure, now you know where those false ones came from. They came from Acts 20: Let me show you where it is. Never forget this now. The five-fold ministry, is a genuine five-fold ministry. Now, where does the error come from? In verse 17 of Acts 20: Paul was in Miletus, and sent to Ephesus by the elders. the elders never were a part of the five-fold ministry. But, because they want to preach, God let them preach. And then here’s what He said to the elders. Not to the apostles, and prophets and teachers in the five-fold ministry…to the elders, he said in verse 28, [Acts 20] (28) Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock (of God), over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. (God’s own Blood is Jesus Christ.) (29) For (this) I know, that after my departing shall grievous wolves (in sheep clothing) enter in among you, not sparing the flock. (30) Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. There you are. Elders. See? God does everything in sevens. So, He allowed the five-fold ministry to have added to it, deacons and elders in order for the assembling of the church. There are too many churches with preachers this. Bro. Branham said, “A man was really called of God to preach, he’d not want to preach. And God’s almost have to take him, to make him preach.” That’s sure the truth. That’s the one thing I was scared stiff of, …that God would call me to preach. He let me know ahead of time. And I’ve been scared stiff ever since, as far as I was concerned, preaching and I don’t get along, in the sense that we’re kin. If I wasn’t called to preach, I wouldn’t be preaching. I’m not trying to vindicate myself in that way, because I know some of you had it ear-marked. (See?) There’s got to be reality somewhere. God’s Word says so. It’s just handled, it's handled by those, it should be handled by those that are ordained of God. And then they’re ordained, of God, the Bible says distinctly, they will not have bad faith. A true ordained, elected minister of God, will no more teach you a lie, than you would believe a lie. Why? Because, he spoke it out. Right? Bible says it. 28. Number three. The mysteries of God are for edifying the Bride. And are never intended of the Lord, to be for judging and whipping. Albeit, they do correct and guide the Elect. Paul said here, all the mysteries, if you haven’t got love…it won’t do you one bit of good. No …?..., nobody trying to beat the other fellow over the head. Tie you down like a lot of these preachers do. And now sister/brother, you know very well the Bible says so and so. I don't care if the Bible does say so and so. I could just take the Scripture and say anybody tonight, with even two glass eyes in his head, that the Gentiles can’t even born again, until the New Jerusalem comes down. If you want to read the Bible, according to human chronology. Because It says, “When the wolf and the lion, and the lamb, and the little kid, and the asp, all get together in the Holy Mountain, It says, "then will God raise up an ensign," [Isa 5:26] to which the Gentiles can trust. That He did that three thousand years ago. But I can read my Bible, and prove it. Not a Gentile is going to make it even. So, you don’t take the Word of God just sell somebody something and hold them in? Just like I like to a little book of creeds and dogmas, our holy father the church. How about a little book today, the other day? It’s about the Pentecostal chatter. Oh, listen, this is the sweetest little nonsense you’ve ever heard. 29. They get more and more spiritual now that they talk in tongues, and got all that love, go to a mass, and say the rosary, and say the beads, and do their penances, and all this other hogwash. Oh, you really need something now. While there’re robbing a bank, while you talked in tongues, which is awful good too. It makes you a sanctified bank robber. Like the one person said, “I’ve been talking in tongues, I really appreciate the virgin Mary.” Well, I do too. I have nothing against the virgin Mary. But she’s not offended. Now, the pope says she was offended. But she isn’t offended, she’s in the grave. I did not one thing, I want to come forth like Mary, if I go down. And if I don’t go down, I want to go up like Mary. And that’s as far as I need it. See? God’s not given into clubs and creeds and dogmas, and beat people into submission. It won’t work. I know what I’m talking about. Because I’m one of those guys can uproot the wheat with the tares tares the way I preach. …?... If I would put my hand on something, I've got nothing to put my hand on, it falls. Because you can’t do God a service, apart from His will. I don’t care what you’re doing today, brother/sister. Take it from me. I live my life in sorrow, because I’m too impulsive. You can’t even help somebody, thinking you’re doing God a service, if God’s really in it. That’s this Word has got to be handled right. It’s got to be handled with the love and a reverence, just to show the people. Then, they do it. There's something wrong. 30. I tell you this, we used to buy the best stuff for our cows, you could ever get for them. I’ll tell you what a cow likes. There’s nothing that cows like better than prairie wool. Oh, they love that. I’d look at that prairie… and I'd say now, “I don’t think it's forbidden using that prairie wool for that cow. I’m going to give you something else.” And I doctored up the stuff for that cow, she 'd sort of sniff it…but man, when it comes to that prairie wool. She loves it. There's certain things that cows love. You know what? That’s the way sheep are. And furthermore, we even got thin noses, a cow will stop where sheep will go. All of those thin noise sheep will go in there in one blade of grass. [inaudible portion]…sheep knows that one blade of green grass…. You put the food in from their feet. That’s what people are sleeping, are supposed to do. And that’s a sheep. And that’s the truth. She's got no problem. Now, I preached myself a very pretty little sermon right there. Now, I just have to [inaudible portion] in good …?... Ha ha ha, I know what I’m talking about now. I may laugh about it. But I’m deadly serious, with a lot of moods. Because you can’t handle that Word, as a club for your difficulties. You’ve said we’re wrong. We’re not here brother/sister, to get hands on anybody, or power over, anybody, it's simply see that it’s true. “Feed My sheep”. That’s what Jesus said. Now, that’s right. 31. Let’s look over here in 2 Tim 3: Now, these are the mysteries. We know what we’re talking about. Yes sir, we haven’t got one …?... at all. These are the beautiful truths in the Word of God. All right, now. 3:16-17. (16) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, (I love that) and is profitable for doctrine, (that’s the mysteries, teaching godly) for reproof, for correction, for instructions in righteousness: Everybody talking about that later on, …?... (17) That the man of God may be perfect, … One of the perfect ones, how? Being one with that Word. Why? Because your faith is right with God. And brother/sister, by faith we’re judged absolutely righteous. See? Line up your faith, (17) That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. How can any man the prophet said, serve God, apart from this Word. Can’t do it. Got to be one with the Word. Now, notice also 1 Cor 13:1. (1) Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not (mysteries and all) … Makes it very clear, that Christ first is not based on teaching handed down from the fathers. It does to du Plessis, and Bro. Branham commented on it. "God does not have grandchildren." We don’t take our doctrine by Sunday school, where you take a bus and you gather all the kids, they teach them that Word perfectly. Ha…it doesn’t get anywhere. They’ve got a bunch of indoctrinated kids, …they’re not Christ’s children. You know what I’m talking about. Why listen: Do you know something? Everybody knows, who knows anything about Sunday school, the minute the Sunday school structure becomes top heavy, you have already backslidden so far you’re finished. In other words, look on the board…we don’t have it here, but, that’s good. 32. They put boards in the front of the churches up here, and they set …?... a hundred to a hundred and twenty-five. Oh boy, that’s a nice church. Then the kids go home, and they see six people of which five are women, sitting there. They aint got no church, you got a mess. Certainly, you got a mess. They say, “Well Bro. Vayle, I’ll wait honey. I’ll wait until…” [inaudible portion] oh, grand-pappy preacher …?... Sure, …?... I’m rough on these things. I’ve got to be. You don’t do it that way. It’s not something handed down. Because you can recite the apostle’s creed, and know this Scripture, and that. It’s a revelation brother/sister, it’s taught in love, it’s taught it’s great for the people. It’s laid up there especially the grace of God to fall upon it. Heart responding to heart. That’s the way Bro. Branham did it. That’s how every message you want to sit up and shout, and jump, have a great time. I’ve had preachers tell me that didn't have a lot of singing…I’m not against a lot of singing. And I’m not against shouting, I’m all for it. I’m all for anything that does you the most good, I’m all for it. Do want whatever you like. But, I want to tell you, when they try to tell you that’s the whole secret to the anointing, and not that Word. I back away right now, because I saw what Bro. Branham could do. And I saw many a meeting, and this Word is preached from the love of God, and the Spirit of Jesus Christ, those people who are so enthusiastic, they're so anointed the stimulation, the wine of revelation coursing through their veins. It sets them on fire. Absolutely. “Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God”. [Rom 10:17] Not something you work up. Don’t you know brother/sister, psychology proves absolutely to be true, that your emotions can swing into faith. Emotions can swing into faith. That’s not what you want, emotion. That’s not the Holy Ghost. The Word my brother, my sister, the Word, the Word, the Word. Amen. Sure. 33. All right. Fourth thing. All right. The mysteries of God which are foolishness to the world, must be proclaimed with boldness. Those came and preaching what others repudiate. Bro. Branham preached a whole sermon on it, it came to him. Okay. Eph 6:19 (19) And for me, (and to me, said Paul) that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, Paul said, "That I may ever be bold to preach this Word." Know it takes courage to preach the Word of God, you may die for It. It takes courage to stand up and explain 'Mystery Babylon'. It takes courage to stand up and explain who the harlot is. It takes a lot of courage to stand up in the face of Pentecostalism, which is being embraced by every denomination, and tell them that this is a false thing. That they’re simply under an anointing. The two Spirits being so close. Ah, it takes courage brother/sister. We may die for it. You can’t stand behind the pulpit and believe me, you can’t get a revelation from God sitting in that pew, and believe me. Now, sometimes it’s hard. Paul knew it would be hard. But he said, “I’m prepared to go to Jerusalem and die for what I’m going to teach.” I want to go down and take Christ and Him crucified. I’m going to confront the high priest. If you would…I’ll be gentle about it. I’ll be a man of God. But I’m going to do it. See? Boldness. It takes boldness to preach the Word of Almighty God. 34. Notice, what It says in Col 4:2-4 (2) Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; (3) Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I’m also in bonds. Notice what Paul says, “I want you to pray for me, that God will open doors so I can take this Word. You know right today, a lot of people think it’s too late to take this Word out? Now listen folks, I’ve got news for you. Don’t be that way. I know, for a while I wondered if it was all over, too. But, don’t be that way. 35. Just hold your finger there, let me read you what It says in the Book of Hebrews here. Hebrews 4: (1) Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. Any of you should feel that it’s come too late. As long as this Bride has not yet been changed in her flesh, you keep taking that Word out. And bless God, if He lets her stay here a few days after your flesh has been changed, …and we’ll talk about that sometime too, if He lets you. Right. Pray for those doors. Pray for those doors. See? Pray that this Word go out. I know a few years ago, the women wouldn’t pray. Instead of praying for the Lord of the harvest to send forth laborers, they done one themselves. Oh, what a mess they made of that …?... I think they got yapping down there in North Carolina one time. I had to send a …?... and all. Well, they said, "Well you men wouldn’t go". And I said, “So what.” Well they said, “Do we have to go?” You sure don’t know your Bible, do you? 36. What do you mean? If you read what the Bible says, “Pray the Lord of the harvest, … send forth (the) laborers into his harvest”. [Mt 9:38] Why are you praying for God to send them forth, instead of you going…?... shame on you.” Unless you go cut your hair, and they started seeing the men approach, go tippy-tippy toe, [inaudible portion] Now don’t tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about. I knew a lady in Florida, she had me bamboozled for a while too. Was getting smart ideas. looked that pretty, pretty [inaudible portion]…like these businessmen with a pocket full of dough, yet they’ll persuade you, bless God, if a million bucks, looks like Jesus Christ, if he looks at a million bucks three times. And you folks to make a nickel out maybe this way too, eh? How long? Pardon the sarcasm, it cuts across …?... But it’s not sarcasm really. It’s pointed thinking. We don’t fool with these things, brother/sister. We’ve been called to a high and noble calling in Christ Jesus our Lord. There’s a price to pay for preaching this Word. As far as I’m concerned, I don’t have any place to pin them. I love this Word. I may have to pay a price later on. 37. But, as far as being ashamed of It, …I said on many occasion. “If the Lord Jesus Christ, was going to tarry for a hundred years, and I was allowed to preach as a pastor for the next twenty-five years, I would preach nothing but this Message, because nothing else made sense.” I cannot understand why people don’t love and flock into It. It's exhilarating, It's increasing, It's beautiful, It's edifying, It's empowering. It's wonderful. I know what you're looking for. This is more exciting than a wild west story. Right. You made the Bible live. When they take and make that Book tame. That's not a tame Book. Let’s …?... bless God, raising…and when you raise the dead they're in praise. Right. See? He said, It may cost you something. It’s a wonderful Gospel. Never be ashamed of It. Oh, they may fuss at you, for serpent seed and the fact that you …?... these miserable kind of clothes they wear, and this and that. Well you just stick with the good old truth. As Bro. Branham said to the women, “Your hair is your glory, wear it with pride.” Somebody tries to tell you, let it hang down around your waist, because Bro. Branham had a vision of women and those days, with the hair below their hips. And he said, “What about the fact, (he said) many would …?... their hair to their shoulders." Ho ho…that’ll get ‘em. Women listen, you don’t need to let your hair hang down to your waist. He said, "You that women complain about the fact that long hair is too hot." He said, “What’s cooler, than rolling it up on the back of your head in a bun?" See? That’s putting little goodies in here, so any chance I get. I want you to know, we’re not preaching some doctrine that's superficial. or something that’s silly. 38. Listen. We have the absolute, powerful, wonderful, Word of God, as we haven’t had it in two thousand years. And we ought to get you folk proud of it. See? Still, we’re not proud of ourselves. Still we’re …?.... We do a lot of things. Absolutely. But I want to tell you. The Bride is getting in step right now, by being one with that Word she believes that Word. She believes in a vindicated messenger. All right. What’s the fifth thing? The fifth thing is the evidence that the mysteries will not scatter or separate the Bride, but bring her together. That’s absolutely true. Colossians 2:1-7 (1) For I would that (you) knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, (that’s our age) and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh; Bro. Branham said the same thing. (2) That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, … unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; 39. Now, you notice right there, that the acknowledgement of the mystery, would be toward the man that brought it. And that’s at the end-time also. First of all, we have got to be set upon the prophet. If you’re not set on the prophet, you cannot believe this Message, brother/sister. Because this is everything. This prophet, is a fulfillment of Deuteronomy 18: and Acts 3: where a man with ‘Thus Saith the Lord’ came with a vindicated Message. Now listen. What kind of a God is there, who would allow anybody to come with ‘Thus Saith the Lord’ and let ‘Thus Saith the Lord’ come to pass, if God wasn’t in it? Do you think for one minute, I’d have one of you folk say, ‘Thus Saith Lee Vayle’? And you quoted me wrong. I’d say, “Now just a minute there, fella. You might have meant well. But you aren’t really right, you’re wrong, because I will not allow my meetings to go what you said,” Because I didn’t say that. Now, do you think for one minute that God Almighty is such a peculiar creature? He’s such a peculiar breed? Such a mess? So, lacking with dignity and honor. And yet all through the Bible, “I’m a sovereign God.” I tell you, I don’t give my tithes. I don’t take tithes from anybody, and I don't allow this, and I don't allow that. …?... that fellow like William Branham, had …I thought it was kind of cute I'll humor him, he he he he, huh? That’s what the world thinks. That’s what the world thinks a vindicated prophet, with ‘Thus Saith the Lord.’ God Himself, saying It. “I come,” is what God is telling you now. I as speaking for God, the proof is, did it come to pass? It came to pass. Then why don’t you believe the prophet? Why to believe? How could you dare not to believe him? This is what Paul said. The acknowledgement. Of what? The acknowledgement of Paul’s understanding of the mysteries. Paul bringing it. See? You say, “Bro. Branham, you’ve got a vindicated Word, I believe.” Do you understand it? No, but I’m hanging on. You’ve got it all? Nope, but I’m looking to. Do you believe it all? Sure, sure. Why? The man’s vindicated, ‘Thus Saith the Lord’, infallible. That’s exactly it. See? 40. Now, [Colossians 2:] (3) In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (4) And this I say, lest any man (should) beguile you, with enticing words. What’s enticing words? Come on now. Does anything differ from what Paul said, anything different? Just the way the devil enticed Eve. Something to it. See? (5) … though I (will) be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ. (6) As (you) have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord,… Now, how did they receive Christ the Lord? They say, "Well, first of all by the Word." That’s the first thing they had to get that Word. Then the Spirit of God could be in It, from then on. (7) Rooted and built up in him, (How did they get in him? Word.) … (established) in the faith, (Where’s faith? Comes by hearing, hearing the Word.) as (you) have been taught, abounding with thanksgiving. How can anybody look to it, and look there when they have the apostle Paul? How’s he going to look anyplace else when you have a man like William Branham? Huh? Oyh boy, I want to tell you I'm sure glad my eyesight is failing I haven't got time to look someplace else. I just keep in my memory what my eyes got on. Sure. You know a thing about that, do you? That’s exactly what Paul said. 41. Notice it, 2 Thessalonians 2:1 (1) Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, Bro. Branham said, “That is the last end day Message.” The gathering by the Message. Let’s see that. Matthew 23:37. All right here It is: (37) O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen (gathers) her chickens under her wings, and (you)would not! 42. How does God gather His people? He gathers His people by the Words of the prophet…the Words of the messenger. See? God gathered them. We, the Bride is never scattered by the Word. The Bride is not outside the Word, and judged by the Word. "Come out of her My people." What, was it? The Shout. What was the Shout? A Message. What’s a shout? A military command. Isn’t that a military command… ‘Come out of her. Behold the Bridegroom, Come out.’ Not go forth. That's the silliest thing in the world that translation. That’s no translation, of God’s Word, ‘Go forth’. That's the fellow inside the building. I was inside the building, I’d say, “Go forth.” When I’m outside, I’d say, “Come out!” How could you have a man, a prophet, or some messenger, or somebody, inside an organization? Haw! You’ve got to be out. Then he calls the other guy. God dragging His Bride, by the Word. Brother/sister, listen. The Bride is never scattered by the Word, she’s gathered by the Word. Remember William Branham came …what was it God said? “As John the Baptist foreran the First coming, so your Message, foreruns the Second.” What is it? Gathering the Bride. Bro. Branham said, “I believe by the grace of God, I’m bringing a Bride to Jesus Christ.” No true minister of the mysteries, will you dissolve …?... in anyway. Except for the sake of the Word, and so, the Elect. 43. 1 Timothy 3:9 The office that God gives them the use of the Word, is to preach that Word, for the sake of the Elect. (9) Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. Sure, preachers make a living by preaching. But, if you’re on the road just preaching for money, …just get a job. (See?) As Peter said, …?... “Watch, unless we should be enticed by privilege.” You know. Why do people like these great big churches? I don’t know how a lot of preachers do, but they do …?... Yep. It’s their business. Well naughty, naughty, that’s not the Word of God. It’s His business. He never said that power of the Word was a corral, (he said) they separated the people." So, every people's spirit. If you're not spiritual, …?... …?... You have to give according to God’s Word. That’s all. And what does the tithe do? The tithe goes with the gift. Many people have an idea that pay the tithes, and their best friends can come and get it. Naughty, naughty. You don’t do that. Church order, …?.... Comes to the pastor, to the deacon. And the pastor must use what he used, then he must give the rest to us. The ministry. Not the building, not the radios, and not the pianos, or anything. But the ministry. Why? Because by their five-fold ministry, not four, not one-fold. Is that Right? Right, right, right, he said. It’s the prophet of God brought it. But people don’t want those things. They want to spend it here, and spend it there. And don’t do it; don’t do it; don’t do it. See? Stick with the Word. That man must…he’s got to be business like. So, must the people. But their mind is not on big buildings and of course, it’s not, …?... and that’s the thing, the world looks for…nice this, nice and wonderful this and wonderful that. Then they miss God entirely. 44. Now, certain mysteries are necessarily revealed for a certain season. And cannot be made known, until it comes time for a manifestation. This revelation is for the Bride that she might never be deceived. So, the gates of hell shall not prevail against her. Certain right now, this is in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-7 where It says that mystery was already in them, and could not come into full creation until a certain thing took place. So therefore, certain mysteries are reserved for a certain time. Just like Daniel. Seal up the Book, it's for another age. And brother/sister remember, at the end age they’ll all come in. But the great point, there has to be some kind of manifested vindication, to prove this is what it is, to whom God has given the true revelation, or the doctrine to the Bride. Now, that happened once, at the beginning of the Church Ages, and once at the end. As Paul received the vindicated Word of God. He said, “I brought it to empower, so that you know human words would not do what my words did.” No sir. Bro. Branham said, “You saw right here, what a man’s word will not do." Paul, was vindicated. And so, at the end of the age, we have another vindication. Now why did Paul, have a vindicated Message? You know what? What kind of a woman, would trust a man that’s a drunkard? You’ve got to be sick. Well I’m not kidding. Any woman, which is young virgin, who will marry a drunkard, has got to be sick. See? He hasn’t got anything to show to justify any faith in him. She would have to be sick. Or, the woman knows that this man has run with every other girl, and now he wants her? So, go on and get one of those other sots [habitual drunkard] .then. She wanted somebody else. There they are. See? 45. This is why Paul, had to bring a vindicated Message, for that virgin Bride, so she’d have faith in the man she’s going to marry. And as Paul said, “With,‘Thus Saith the Lord’, with the pure unadulterated Word.” That virgin Bride says, “That’s the man I’m going to marry…He’s mine.” See? Paul said, “Now, I’m afraid (he said) lest some city-slicker come by, and begin to deceive you, like Eve was deceived.” Where’s it come? Corrupting the mind. And a corrupt mind, brings reprobate faith. Oh brother/sister, if this mind does not line with the Word of God, you may see all you want, but you’ll never make it. Bro. Branham said, “The proper mental attitude towards any promise in the Book will make it reality.” So, it is the mind is the womb. See? That’s it. And of course, this Bride in the beginning, wanted nothing but the Word. And so therefore, she was a virgin of that Word. That Paul said, “One day, you’re going to fall.” And John said, “One day, you’re going to fall.” That’s Acts 20:17-22, and 1 John 2:18-19, and 1 John 4:6. Read It for yourself sometime. Thus, the first went into error. With no vindicated prophet, …a prophet to bring her back to her original purity. Not one man from Paul down, to this age, not one man, (from Paul to this age) until Bro. Branham's time had the full and entire Word of God. But God gave the necessary revelation, to messengers in every age. 46. Let’s prove it now. Titus 1:1-3 (1) Paul, a servant of God, … an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, (that’s on the Word, even) the (acknow- ledgement) of the truth which is after godliness; (2) In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; (3) But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Savior; Now, this 3rd verse in the original says this, “But in His own private and strategic season He made known His Word in the proclamation with which I was entrusted, in accordance with the commandment of God.” Paul in his season, was entrusted, Irenaeus in his season was entrusted, Martin in his season, Columbo in his season, Luther in his season, Wesley in his season, and William Branham in his season, was entrusted. 47. Now, listen carefully. Get this. God promised at the end-time, there would be a complete revelation of the Word. [Revelation 10:] (7) …in the days of the voice of the (Seventh Church Age messenger), when he should begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished... Remember the mystery of God? Be finished, as God hath declared by the news of the Gospel by His servant the prophet…a literal translation. Now then listen, what is it? It was the Seventh Seal. Because remember, the Seventh Seal was the seal of what? Silence. When Bro. Branham said, “Going from Genesis to Revelation, He could place the Seventh Seal all the way through.” All right, let's go where He said he’d do? Plant the seed of the entire Bible. From what? The serpent to the prophet in the former rain. God revealing every mystery. The question arises, what was that serpent? Nobody could tell you, the prophet told you. Then the prophet told you there. What did he do? The prophet told you. People guessed at it, but he knew. 48. What was that Seventh Seal? The Seventh Seal, opened all the mysteries in the Word of God. As Bro. Branham said, “Though that was the Seven Thunders.” That’s what the Seven Thunders are all about. Seven Seals. The Seven Seals gives the Bride everything she needs to put her in a Rapture. Ah, now listen carefully. Remember, the Bride at the beginning was what? She was a virgin, but is she a virgin in that next age? No. Only to the Word, she may not to the whole Word. Here it is, same thing. Four, Five, Six. But the seventh age Bro. Branham had a vision and he saw the First Age a group and a preview in a group. Right? All right, the First Age was the preview. Then the Seventh Age came, first an American rock and roll, look the harlot. She wasn’t the Bride. Suddenly, there came a song, ‘Onward Christian Soldiers,’ marching as to war’. A little Bride comes up and she was identical to the first Bride. See? Why? Because the Bride is the body of Christ. And Christ is Alpha and Omega, and so therefore, the Bride is Alpha and Omega. So, the first Bride must be identical to the last Bride, and the last Bride must be identical to the first Bride. And that goes in between, that doesn’t matter or bother [inaudible portion] that's Alpha and Omega. So, at the end-time, William Branham came with the Word of God, to turn her back to being a virgin of the Word, in order that in her, the last Message, which is the last revealed Word of God to come into manifestation in the flesh, " We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed." [1 Cor 15:51] They without us cannot be made perfect. So, God brings a virgin Bride, and in her is fulfilled all the mysteries. Based on what? A vindicated prophet, ordained of God to bring that Word to the believing Elect, who when they identify themselves with that Word, would absolutely will become that living Word expressed. They do, at this end-time. So, we see, the prophet brought us the Word of Almighty God. And when he brought us that Word, it was the complete revelation. 49. Now then, watch that Bride. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven. Completely right? Okay. The Bride is completed, the Word of God is completed. Because the Bride is that Word. The original Word, original seed, spoken Word. Every Word manifested in due order. No one more to be manifested. The last of the Gentiles have now come in. The Bride stands put, and what's she waiting for? She’s waiting now for that Word to have full absolute authority, within her. She is becoming one with that Word to the end-time. Why? She couldn’t be that in the First Age. Because the Word of God said, "We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed." [1 Cor 15:51] They couldn’t go in the First Age, they weren’t all there. They couldn’t go to the Second Age, they weren’t all there. They couldn’t go in the Third, or the Fourth, or the Fifth, or the Sixth, but in the Seventh Age, they were all there. Now then, the Bride is completely revealed. See? Therefore, the Word must be completely revealed, …because you see, I keep telling you…one a part of that Word says, "We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed." And that’s the last Word or mystery in the Bible. 50. What are the mysteries brother/sister? The Word of God, come down by revelation, we believe that. Do you know something? I know this sounds awful sarcastic, to a bunch of people like us, but we're part of that. Yeah. We are a part of that revelation. We are. We are part of that revelation. I know we are so full of mock humility, which is nothing but unbelief. We simply cannot give God credit, that this, is that Bride. But I have always been encouraged, by the Bride of the Book of the Songs of Solomon. And you know, It says in there, that that little Bride heard Him. All she heard was His voice. And It says, she just fell in love with His voice. And just literally melted, and oozed her way to the door. She just couldn't get her lover. …?... …?... she got into His arms. When she got there, there wasn’t anybody there. And she said, “I just thought I’d tell you. I heard His voice, and It’s all yours.” That’s all she wants, is that voice. That’s all she wants. So, she went out to find Him, and she was so pretty, and so nice, oh my, she looked lovely. And pretty soon her garments began to tear around. The thorns and the dogs began to chase her. People started to …?... and fuss at her garments and all. By the time she went all that night time, trying to find Him. She was just so beat up, by the time that she got there, and oh, that pretty coiffure was all hanging down, and the clothes were in shreds now, her arms no doubt, were scarred with the thorns, she looked a mess. She said, "O Lord, I hate to see Him." But when He walked right in front of her, He said, “You’re beautiful.” He said, “You were twice as beautiful as you were there. He said, “You thought you were beautiful.” But, He said, “Now, you're beautiful.” 51. And you know something? We just don't really understand that Bro. Branham said, “When a man looks for a woman with character, not, some sex queen. That’s when he’s a man.” Jesus isn’t looking for any sex queen. He’s looking for a Bride of His Word. And I want, I tell you, I don’t blame little old Rebekah, after she rode on those camels all those days, she might have been pretty sore. And pretty dusty, and I don’t think she had much chance to look too pretty, but just, flopped her veil in front of her face. And he came by, and he just fell in love with her red hair. Now brother/sister, that’s what I’m talking about tonight, in these mysteries. They had all the messengers. They know the Word. We know where they stand. We know where our faith is. Now, it’s time to believe iI, and put it on. And never mind looking to yourself, and wonder about this, and wonder about the other fellow. It’s time to just sit down with the good Word of God. And call it Food, if you want. Call it what you want, the Word of God. Clothe yourself with It. Feed yourself with It. Become identified with It. And stand with that revealed Word, in your faith. Remember, Abraham got to that place, there was no use looking at Sarah. She wasn’t fit to be looked at. A ninety-year old woman, going to be a young bride to bear a child! He said, “Sarah, you ain't fit to look at.” She said, “I know, but did you look in the mirror this morning?” He said, “I quit looking there, because I was sick of looking at it a whole long time before you quit looking.” So, they didn’t know each other. They just looked to the Word of God, and one day he suddenly felt, “Hey, I feel pretty good, for lying on corn stuff. … thirty years.” He looked, almost jumped out of bed here was a beautiful young woman. He got out of bed so fast he knew something was wrong. Because he never saw that before. He looked in the mirror, and he was a young man. Brother/sister, that’s what proof, in God's Word does, apart from works. The mysteries have been revealed. I have got faith in that Word. And do you know something? That’s all I have got faith in. Because if it isn’t by grace, it's according to His Word …?... well if it is by grace, and He said it is by faith, then how am I going to miss it? Do you love the Word tonight? God bless you. Shall we rise. 52. [Bro. Vayle starts singing] … ‘I Love Him, I Love Him, because He first loved me. And purchased my salvation on Calvary’s tree. I Love You, I Love You, Because You first loved me. And purchased my salvation on Calvary’s tree’. Our Father, tonight we thank you that You’re not a God that’s far off, but, You’re right here, Lord, we know You're here. We know, Jesus Christ, that Your Presence is with us, to continue to help us, in magnifying Thy Name, and edifying the people, Lord, by Thy Spirit Word that's in us. This is what we desire, Lord, be one with Your Word tonight. And we know, Lord, that we’re on the right side, because we have heard the prophet. We’ve identified him and that Word, Lord, and we identify ourselves with It. And we’re not going to brush some of those off, we’re going to stand, because we know that this is the one place that's safe to stand. And Lord, we know that if we go along that You’re faithful to reveal Yourself unto us, and to bring us into a place of edification, we have not been hitherto. You're going to do it, Lord, because You promised. And we thank You, Lord, for doing that day by day, because these things become clearer and clearer. We know, Lord, that in the Bible days, that the apostles lives, when You met them on the road to Emmaus, and there, You opened the Book to them. You took all the Scripture concerning Yourself, and showed it to them. Tonight, Lord, we believe that You’re doing that very same thing to us. And one of these days, Lord, we’re going to see a real manifestation of the Son come forth. Because your prophet said, “The Bride would see that Son and be showed exactly what’s going to happen.” Lord, I know that this Bride stands on the earth. One day, there’s others going to join us. But I believe before that takes place, this is going to be a Word identified Bride, and a Word manifesting Bride. What all that means Lord, I don’t know. But I’ve got the assurance it’s just going to be a simple pattern of life. It’s going to be the Word of God living. And, Lord, it’s going to be just the way Your prophet told us. It’s just going to be natural as breathing. and sleeping and eating and walk right on in to the eternal place. Lord, I know that, and I thank You for that. Bless each one her I pray, O God. And may every heart Lord Jesus Christ, be filled with joy and overflowing any sick bodies, Lord, may they be renewed may they be revitalized tonight. May the God of all grace, show forth His glory, to His honor and praise. In the Name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen. God bless you. Amen. Mysteries of God (2272) Page PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 1
