Mother’s Day Needs final proofing Bro. Lee Vayle - May 10, 1981 [beginning of this preamble is missing on the audio…prayer starts pg 2] i) …service, and have one a month, let me see, and the new ones are good. That’s enough of it, I think we can work on that. Because, we want to try to help everybody we can. As I mentioned last night, we have the folk from Pennsylvania, who are unfortunate in being not able to be in services. And the least we can do is, try to have a service on at least once a month, for them, to help them and to also help others. Now, with this, I notice that we have a couple dates coming up, one of the 25th of May, you have the…I don’t know if everybody gets a day off or not. But it falls on the Monday. So, there’d be a long weekend likely, especially for those who do get that day off. And then July 4th, that also falls on a weekend, so that, that would be a comfortable time also, for those that were travelling any great distance, and then they could stay over to make it a little more restful. And I’m interested of course, that at this particular moment, because, I’m free to be here with you. At this time, later on, I will…of course I don’t mean that I would be here all the month of June. I don’t know. I have to be on the road a certain amount, that’s where my life is. And…but, as much as I can help you in this respect, I want to. So, we’ll consider tentatively at least, at this time, a couple more services, the weekend of the 25th of May, and also the weekend of July the 4th. ii) Now also, you know my method of teaching a subject, I like to get into it on a series. And constantly re-teach with added factors. Now, Wednesday night, we took the subject of ‘The Presence’ which we’ve been dealing with of course, over a period of time. And then, last night also. So, the question comes up again to you who were here last night, and Wednesday. Do you feel that the repetition, is getting you more familiar with the actual usage of the words, so that you feel that...you know, … you’re able to handle It, as well as the quotes that we keep giving you from Bro. Branham? In other words, do you feel now that we’re getting some deeper impression, and understanding, of the Message? Let me see your hands, so I can see if I’ve got to go back. Okay that’s fine. Well, then what I’m going to do is continue Wednesday, and in fact, this does not mean you can stay home and play Saturday night’s tape. Because, I’ll use the same notes this Wednesday, as Saturday but, they will be entirely different. They always change because, there is no way that I ever preach the same sermon identically. I don’t write my messages out, so I can’t take them word for word. So, we’re going to continue this type of teaching, in order to thoroughly familiarize you, with what the subject matter is, as some of the major doctrines. Hopefully, we’ll get to a number of them, before too long a time, that Bro Branham taught. iii) And the reason I do this, is because, …you know as well as I do…we’ve had the Bible for a long, long time. Of course, we’ve had the New Testament for roughly two thousand years. But, never all printed, in one time and one place. We have had it for a number of years now, getting into the hundreds. And there is a major confusion, because the doctrine, has never been satisfactorily established. So therefore, people hurl Scripture, isolated particularly against people, with other isolated Scripture. And it leaves me neither rhyme not reason, but confusion. So, what we’re trying to do is to teach doctrine as Bro. Branham taught it to us, who, that we believe was as vindicated as any man could be. But, at the same time, realizing that nobody can prove anything. If anybody thinks he can prove anything to anybody else, you have not been born yet. You’ve been aborted. There’s no way anybody can prove anything. Faith is a revelation. You believe something, but, to actually prove a thing, …like Bro. Branham said, “If God told me to raise Abraham Lincoln from the dead, I challenge the armies of the earth, to come and shoot me down, if, I couldn’t do it.” I want to ask you a question. What if he did do It? Wouldn’t do anything. They’d just say, “Well, could be.” When he said, “Bring me the worst case you’ve got, within America, or anyplace else. And I’ll guarantee healing.” iv) And they brought a little girl to him, the best I could describe her limbs and her body, looked like a dish of cold cooked spaghetti. He simply put the little twelve-year old tot on his knee and asked them to sing choruses. Within the hour, she’s running around with flesh on her body. What did that prove? Nothing. Nothing. She didn’t want to believe it. Nobody can prove anything. Where do you get the idea, that anybody can prove anything? You believe, that’s all, then if you’re in the right channel, God can answer back to your faith. That could be an accident. A happy one. You’ve got to wait until you’re beyond the river. You’re looking beyond. So, we don’t try to prove anything. We believe that Bro. Branham was the closest to anything that was a proof, if you want to accept something as proof. But, it’s a revelation. And I say this about this Message, if we don’t believe right, by every standard that anybody could possibly provoke, or invoke. Where you’re going to put it. Well, looks the best I’ve run across so far. And I don’t think there’s anything else on the horizon. See? It’s a matter of faith. It’s a matter of a revelation. So, we try to go into the doctrine, so that you might know and understand, what was actually taught on the various subjects. Now, right afterward, we’ll be going over to the little Legion hall in De Graffe, … [omit comments] All right, let’s bow our heads in prayer. Heavenly Father, we thank You for this time of coming together, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, hopefully, for the glory of Almighty God. That You might be pleased with us Lord, who think upon Your name. And Who has written a Book or Remembrance, for those who spake often one to another, in a certain way, whose hearts have been turned back, according to the Scripture, that they might understand righteousness from unrighteousness. And understand there’s a difference between those who serve God, and those who serve Him not. We believe Lord, that is our heritage, this morning we have entered into that place. And we look to You Lord, now to help us in our meditations this morning, and our studies. And we pray the grace of God, will be with us to that end, in feeding us, and blessing us, in the Name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen. 1. Now, I’m going to read quite a bit of Scripture here. And you might wonder what it’s all got to do with the subject, which we’re looking at. Which is sort of ‘Mother’s Day’. And we’re going to begin in Genesis 1:26-28 where it says, (26) And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (27) So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (28) And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Gen. 5:2 (2) Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day (that) they were created. Gen. 2:20 (20) And Adam [BV in error says God, rather than Adam] gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. Gen. 3:20 (20) And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living. 2. Now, we get a picture you see, back when it happened, way back there. Where motherhood actually came from. And we go into Hebrews 11th chapter, and we look at someone who was also a mother, and greatly eulogized by God. Heb. 11:8-12 (8) (starting by Abraham the husband,) By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. (9) By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, (in the) strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: (10) (And) he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. (11) Through faith also Sarah herself (there’s the mother) received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. (12) Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable. 3. Now, in Galatians, we’re going to see a little analogy here by the apostle Paul, concerning motherhood. Having the same husband. And it has to do with Hagar and Sarah. [Gal. 4:19-30] (19) My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you, (20) I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you. (21) Tell me, (you) that desire to be under the law, do (you) not hear the law? (22) For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. (23) But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. (24) Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is (Hagar. That Agar, is just a Greek spelling there) (25) For this Agar (Hagar) is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. (26) But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. 4. Not so, that literal translation is ‘our mother’. Because, how could she be the mother of us all? Well, you’ve got a lot of children down here and somebody else is their mother. You can tell right away, it’s a mis-translation. It’s ‘our mother’, Paul speaking. (27) For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she (that) hath an husband. Now you notice, right in there again, numerous children were born to Hagar, and that one, because she did not possess Abraham as a husband. (28) Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. (29) But as then he that was born after the flesh (now, that would be the little fella, Ishmael) persecuted him that was (Isaac) born after the Spirit, (promise of the Word) even so it is now. (30) Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman. Two mothers, two children. (31) So then, (Abraham told them) we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free. 5. Okay. Let’s go a little further, and find what John has to say about this. He had some very strong words about the ‘Hagar church’. The woman that gave birth to seed. Rev. 17:1-6 (1) And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: Now, waters of course, are people. It signifies a woman is doing this. (2) With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. That would be the inspiration she gives by her own interpretation. Her own Bible, so to speak. (3) So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. (4) And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: (5) And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER (a woman that had babies) OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. Now, here’s a church that had a lot of little churches, around the whole world. (6) And I saw the woman (drunk) with the blood of the saints, … Now, this woman here, is the church, and she is a killer. (6) …the blood of the martyrs (the word ‘martyrious’, doesn’t mean ‘martyr’, it means ‘a witness’ a true witness to) Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. (7) And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. 6. All right. Ephesians 5: this is the real woman. The Spirit. Eph. 5:22-32 (22) Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. (23) For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. (24) Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. (25) Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; (26) That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, (27) That he might present it to himself a glorious church, … Now notice, he doesn’t talk about the Blood, he doesn’t talk about the baptism with the Holy Ghost. But, he precedes the presentation by a very unique wording here. Sanctify and cleanse it, with the washing of water, by the Word. To the end, (27) That he might present it to himself a glorious church, … Now, you realize that is absolutely after the Rapture. (27) ...not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. That’s the actual presentation. You’ve got to be in this condition before you make the Rapture. (28) So, ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. (29) For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but (nourishes) and (cherishes) it, even as the Lord the church: (30) For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. (31) For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. (32) This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Rev. 21:9-11 (9) And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. (10) And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, (which is from above, our mother) descending out of heaven from God, (11) Having the glory of God: … In other words, as the wife has everything the husband has. And he has it for the one purpose of sharing with his wife. So, this also, has God a Bride. (11) … and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; 7. Now, I’ve read a great deal of Scripture, and it is with the purpose of taking a message on this day, dedicated to the Mothers, to the end that we may have something more purposeful, than just eulogizing ‘motherhood’. Or, speaking about mothers, or, talking about them in a certain way. Although that’s very nice. But, we must remember, that no one has the right to dedicate a Sunday to anything, be it; motherhood, fatherhood, sisterhood, brotherhood. For, the day is already dedicated and consecrated to the Resurrection, and sanctified to that purpose. We’re here to honor the risen Christ, who died for us. But, speaking about our sisters for a while, I want to look at some Scriptures, and just bring out some thoughts. That, hopefully they could be helpful to a degree. And we’re going to start in, 1 Cor. 11:3,11-12 (3) But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. Now, don’t anybody ever read that, ‘the head of the woman is man’, and let it sit there. Because, you’re literally blaspheming the Scripture, to do that. You can’t do it. It’s the head of every man is Christ influenced. The head of every woman is man influenced. The head of Christ is God influenced. One cannot be without the other. So, we’ll read it again here then, (3) (I’d) have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. (11) Nevertheless, neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord. Now, that’s a specific statement, of how God wanted things, and has things. One with the other. (12) For as the woman is of the man, … 8. Originally, and also physically. You couldn’t have a woman born unless a man was there. Well, they say now you can by …have a woman born of a woman, she’d be female, never masculine gender…but, that’s beside the point…that’s argument. (12) (But) the woman (came from) the man, (in the beginning, and she’s still born through man.) even so is the man also by the woman; (and) all things (are) of God. That’s simply saying by decree, that that is so, by God. Here we observe that contrary to many menial minds, we observe the woman is not a second place. The thought of God, as many believed because, she was not in the original creation. But, she was certainly in that original plan, and her creation came a little later on. She was not there for a second thought as it were, of God. Nor, an adjunct simply to man. But, she has a pertinent, definitive, and necessary to the very place, in the eternal economy of God. Because, it says, “All things are of God,” and it places the woman there with “All men are of God.” 9. In mind, that she has a very pertinent position. We can see the pertinent position in someone like Sarah, as we read over here in Hebrews 11:8-12, but especially verse 11 [Heb. 11:11] (11) Through faith also Sarah herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged (God) faithful (the God who had promised them) Now, by the exact reading of those words, Sarah herself, received faith strength, to bear a child. Shows once and for all, that there is a great individuality, definitive, distinct individuality, of all women apart from the man. And that individuality is ordained of God. A woman before marriage, or in widowhood, is free from the physical male domination which she certainly is. And is responsible on her own to God. So, there is a responsibility to God, on her part, that her husband does not control, even though she is married, and he is her head. We go over here in, Gal. 3:28 (28) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: … 10. There is neither married nor single, there is no distinction, when it comes to the rebirth. And certain things inherent in Christianity, no distinction between male and female. There is no double standard, though some people try to preach a double standard. And even think that we teach a double standard. Or, that Bro. Branham taught a double standard. In other words, it is not fit, that a woman be immoral, or that a man be immoral. It is not fit, that a woman remain unsaved, and a man remain unsaved. There is certainly, a place where she is absolutely on her own, responsible to God. Also, we notice in, 1 Cor.7:16 (16) … what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband?... Now, this woman is born again, she’s living evidently with a man that’s a sinner. Now, no doubt she didn’t mean it that way. Back in her youth, she married a man, she was a sinner, and he was a sinner. Now, she’s born again. And Paul says, “Look, you don’t know if that man is ever going to get born again. You’ve got to stand on your own two feet. There’s something that you’ve got to face up to, as an individual.” And he says concerning the man, “You don’t know if your wife is going to get saved.” And there’s nothing you can do about it. Now, you can do your best, live a good Christian life, you can be a fine person. 11. Now, in the case of this woman here, let us say that her husband turns to her and says, “Now that you’re born again, this so-called nonsense of being born again. You want to run off to church all the time. And I come home, I catch you on your knees praying, when you ought to be doing the diapers, and a few other things. And I find you wanting you know, to read your Bible, and I guess that’s all right, if you think it might do you a little bit of good. But, it sure doesn’t look like it. And I tell you know, if you don’t straighten up woman, you’re just going to have to just quit going to church, and worshipping. You’re going to have to quit reading the Bible, and praying.” Then, she’s got to quit him. I don’t care what kind of a head he is. She’s got to walk off. Because, he cannot tell her she cannot do these things. So, woman is very individualistic. She’s not just sexually different, though that is true. Yet, the sexual difference, isn’t a whale of a big difference, when you consider that which is also in the male body that he has. But, there is a difference. Yet, she has …but, she has go to, stand on her own two feet, with that understanding. That she is responsible same as Sarah was. Now it says that Sarah believed God. And this word, ‘herself’ let’s you and me know that this was her own personal faith that surfaced, and brought her not just into motherhood. But, brought her into everlasting history. 12. Now, you can say what you want. When history is written, there were some mighty fine tarry nations? And let’s face it, people will even think that Frances Perkins must be some sort of a demi-goddess of some description, because she got involved with the labour and things like that. And you can look around and you can see a lot of women, …this woman, what was her name? Anthony…Now, they’ve got her on a phoney dollar bill, or a coin. And you can honor women and that’s fine, I believe women ought to be honored. But, when it comes down to everlasting history, there is neither a male, not a female, that’s honored of God, unless it’s in the realm of faith. I don’t care what anybody says. It’s be faith men did this, it’s by faith men did that. It didn’t matter about their birth, and their degrees, and their distinctions in earth. It’s by faith. Now, this woman used her faith. And it wasn’t just to bring forth a child. Though that’s exactly what did happen physically. But, it gave her a place in the everlasting annuls of Almighty God. Because, this Word of God, endures in heaven. And this Book written, with this true understanding, with what God gave to the people, as to the Word. And what they did with that Word, and how God responded to what they did with that Word, writes an eternal record. Then, at the end of time, when all tears are wiped away, and all memory is deleted. There will be a record of men and women who live lives of faith. 13. And women can be just as strong in the sight of God, as a man can be. See? There’s no double standard there. There’s one standard. Women of faith, and men of faith. That was not the faith of her husband, that Sarah had. Abrahams’ faith was a tremendous faith. Man, I preached hours on this one. And, I preached on Sarah’s faith too. Not quite like I’m going to do this morning. All right. It tells you here in, Rom. 4:17 (17) (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him (that’s God) whom he believed, even God, who (quickens) the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. (18) Who (when hoped on was hoped on in faith), that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken… Not according to his own sexual desires, that brought forth an Ishmael. But, according to what was spoken. It’s a big difference. You see? (18) …So, shall thy seed be. (19) And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about a hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: (20) He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; (21) And being fully persuaded that, what (God) had promised, (God) was able also to perform. (22) And therefore it was imputed to (Abraham) for righteousness. 14. In other words, the record went down. And the record stays down. And there’ll be no expunging that record, through all eternity, that Abraham believed God. And right beside him, was a wife who believed God, right alongside with him. See? Now, his faith brought this over here in Romans 4: which I read. And no doubt Abraham’s faith encouraged Sarah. But, it was Sarah herself, …that it took Sarah herself, to believe to make her a mother of distinction. Because, that’s what we’re looking at. Now, let’s go back to the actual history in Genesis 18:11-14, we might as well because we’ve always got to look back in the sacred page, to see where it came from. All right, it says here, [Gen. 18:11-14] (11) Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. (12) Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my (husband, him also being old)? (13) And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore, did Sarah laugh, … You see, God had said to her that “She’s going to have a child now.” After all that time. She about ninety years old. (13) …, Wherefore, did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? (14) Is anything too hard for the LORD? … You say, “Well maybe not, but that one, is. Well it’s not that it’s anything really too hard, but let’s be sensible. Nobody that old could have a child.” Even if she did get pregnant, she’d lose it. No way. See? (14) Is anything too hard for the LORD? … Anybody can say, “Well really, nothing’s too hard for the Lord, but you see, I’m involved in it.” Ah, now you told the truth. You’ve got to believe. (14) …At the time appointed I will return unto (her), according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. Now, notice verse 12. (12) Therefore, Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also? 15. Now, the word there for ‘pleasure’ is, ‘edn’ which is delight. Which of course, is sexual delight. The delight of youth. Now, it may not sound too sweet, and lauditory, to say this time that Sarah, had reduced the promise and purpose of God in her life, to merely thoughts of a loving, youthful, relationship. Which acknowledged by her, were largely physical pleasure, especially those of the body. Now, you’ll notice, that when the thought of procreation came up in her mind, she immediately associated it, with an act of pleasure. Rather than, the purpose of Almighty God, which was, that all during her lifetime, when they could perform the act, it was to bear children, and she was to have a child. Now, poor Eve, had done the same thing. So, Sis. Sarah, was in company…I won’t say ‘good company’, although that was good company. Eve was a fine person. But, she was doing just what Eve did. In Genesis 1:26-28 which we read, [Gen. 1:26-28] (26) … Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that (creeps) upon the earth. (27) … God created man in his own image, … male and female created he them. (28) And God blessed them, and God … Be fruitful, and multiply, (Bring forth issue.) replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Now, she went all the way from Genesis 1:26-28 to Genesis 3:13. [Gen. 3:13] (13) And the LORD God said unto the woman, What (is it, that thou have) done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, (literally, seduced me) and I (partook.) 16. And this positively, was and is known as, anyone that has any scholarship, within him knows, except those that are willfully ignorant, that this is what Israel has believed for centuries, and centuries, and centuries. That the serpent and Eve copulated, and brought forth Cain. Now, right away, so many people think that the serpent was a snake. I beg your pardon, he was not a snake, he became a snake. That he was so close to human being, that he out shone the human being. He was far larger, far more masculine, far more beautiful. Absolutely, a physical specimen, that would stun anyone, that looked at him. And he was the one that seduced her. Now, you’ll notice that she took the command of God, ‘to be fruitful and multiply’, and equated it merely to a sexual, pleasurable act. Which, I am not against, because the Bible so-calls it, and no one’s against it. But really, there is a great misunderstanding here, and that misunderstanding is, that people have not fully realized that the prophet said, “The woman is a sacred vessel for child bearing.” And certainly, the act of procreation, enters into it. But, the woman is not held in a sacred position. She is too often held in a position which violates it. Which makes her a vessel of pleasure. And here was Eve, submitting to it. And, here was Sarah, submitting to it. 17. Now, there’s nothing wrong with submitting to it. Only in the sense that it is solely a pleasurable act, which it is not solely a pleasurable act. You see? You cannot get your understanding right, unless you put priorities where they belong. It’s just the same as some match that’s supposed to light a little fire, that same match can light a big fire, and burn a building down, and kill a lot of people. Because, your priorities aren’t right. That little match, will light a little fire…in your stove, or whatever it is. See? All right. Let’s go to 1 Timothy 2:11-15, and we will see this is exactly what the Scripture tells us. 1 Tim. 2:11-15 (11) (But) Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. Now, why does he say that? Because, she was learning from the serpent who could talk. (12) But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. Now, he tells why. (13) For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 18. Now, it doesn’t say one single thing, that Adam had some kind of a headship over her, that made her a second-class citizen. No way. That, was her husband. That was the one with whom that she should bring forth seed, and populate the earth. But she went into the wrong realm. Now listen. (14) And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. (15) Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, … Now, if she ate an apple, you know as well as I do, that she would be saved from a stomach ache. What has child bearing, got to do with eating apples? You see, it’s stupid for anybody to read the Bible any different from what it points out, right here. If child bearing is involved, then she must have done something, concerning child bearing. Well, you say, “She could have eaten some figs then, that would be the same as a birth control pill, or something.” I don’t care what you say. That’s not child bearing. The fact that you take a pill, you don’t bear a child. So therefore, she must have born a child. Now, you’ll notice, that’s why the curse was on the earth. Now, I’m not saying that woman is a second-grade citizen here. 19. No way, shape, and form. I’m just saying here, that it is too bad, the misunderstanding, goes all through life, that there is a higher purpose than simply, a communal relationship, which is pleasurable and fine. So, I’ve got nothing against that, in a degree. Now, the problem is still within the church. Men don’t understand, and women don’t understand themselves, that they are a special vessel unto God. Now, we’ve heard for years, man is a special vessel unto God. And it’s very nice, and we can stick out our chests and preen ourselves like peacocks, and strut back and forth across the floor. But, the woman, is also a special vessel. Now, you’ve got two special vessels. Between the two, they’ll make a hell out of paradise. You know why? Because, neither one wants to recognize the speciality. I just threw that in for good measure. I’m a very rough, sarcastic, preacher. I hope you get … 1 Cor. 6:19-20 (19) What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost… What did God breathe into Adam? Except, the breath of life; the Holy Ghost. (19) … which (you) have of God, and (you)are not your own? (20) For (you) are bought with a price: (through the Blood of Jesus Christ, you received the Holy Ghost) therefore, glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. [1 Cor. 7:1-3] (1) Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. (How good? How bad?) (2) Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. 20. Now, that doesn’t sound very exulted. You better get married, so, you don’t have to burn. Not very good, is it? Well, it’s very good, it that’s what is necessary. If it’s going to tie you down, so the two don’t mess up. I don’t see any reason why they should mess up. Woman phoned me not too long ago, …well several years back now. And she said, “Bro. Vayle, my seventeen year old son wants to get married, and he says to me it’s better to marry, that burn.” I said, “Tell him to shut up. I burned until I was about twenty-five years of age.” [inaudible comment/question from the congregation] Well, not from the cradle up. But, not too far past it. See? No second-rate citizens brother/sister, just a few make themselves. There’s no second-rate sex act either. It’s just what people do with it. They never let their …?... avoid fornication. (3) Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. 21. Now look it, I’m going to get to the part Saturday morning, to just forget it, and close house. But, this tells me right here, all these guys that talk about the wife giving into the man. I’m going to tell you something. If a wife’s got a need, the husband better satisfy it too. It says right here. Well preach it Bro. Vayle, it’s too much stupidity going on. Not ignorance, stupidity. Thank you for your no amens. But, I hope you’re with me. Too many men just going to laud the part of, ‘let the husband’s wife recognize the husband’s privilege.’ But, it also says, ‘let the husband recognize the wife.’ What if she wants a child. That’s her instinct, that’s her nature. Until it got changed recently, where she’d sooner mother a poodle dog or something. You actually think that Bro. Branham was a little bit off, on some of his thinking. Boy, he hit it right on the head. If he was living today, he’d put something else down road. It shocked me for a while, until I got smartened up. (5) Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; … 22. Man, can’t even go to pray and fasting, nor a woman from her husband, unless there’s an agreement. Because, right at that very time, Satan can tempt you. Right at that time, he’d give you a shot in the arm. Now, what I’m trying to show you here. I won’t read anymore, see. What I’m trying to get you to is this. Is that there is only true …children are only born from sexual desire. And millions are being born apart from wedlock, because of it. And millions of abortions are being performed due to it. And the vast majority of births within wedlock, have their roots in it. See? All these conceptions, lack a definitive attitude towards faith in God, on the part of the parents, and are merely biological. Now, the man may have a little rougher job with his biology, than the woman. So therefore, many times a weight is put upon her, that we don’t think is absolutely Scriptural. But, we can go along with that for a while, on this grounds; if we believe what God said about her, that she’s a sacred vessel for child bearing. Then, she had better protect herself, and she ought to have a true male protection of her, so that she’ll remain in that status. See? I’m not trying to say that every woman has got to be like Hannah. Who prayed for Samuel, because she was barren. I don’t believe that for one minute. 23. I’m not saying that at all. But, what I’m saying is the true motherhood, starts with a responsibility of faith in God, not a sex act. Now sure, there’s got to be a sex act. But, true motherhood will start with faith in God. It is not; do I have good physical properties? What? Man’s looking for a sex queen. That’s great, if that’s what he wants. And a woman might answer back and say, “Hey, you’ve never seen anybody like me.” Well, that could be true. But, you’ve got to go beyond that. There’s a character involved. It’s not; do I have wonderful properties? But, am I born again? See? That’s where true motherhood, starts. I’ll prove it to you. That’s where it started back there in the Garden. That’s what it’s supposed to be because, when Adam was full of the Holy Ghost, when God breathed him the breath of life, then what came upon Eve? Two people full of the Holy Ghost, in order to propagate. Not sexually now, …they’d have done it a different way. They had to come this way, so, it’s all right. I’m trying to illustrate a point, not illustrate a point but, to drive a point home. The true responsibility of motherhood, and it’s the same with fatherhood, so let’s not let the man out of the picture. Starts with; Am I born again? See? So therefore, he is in the realm where He wants him placed. 24. It’s axiomatic, except where it’s given a couple into homosexuality. That procreative sex, will be there. By procreative, I mean an act that will actually bring forth a child. Homosexuals, cannot have a true act, that will bring forth a child. See? And of course, there’s those that have true acts, and they’re barren. I’m not talking about them. I’m talking about a fact that there is marriage, is axiomatic, this would be there. But, will responsible faith in God, and His promise be there, as it was with Sarah. See? Well, that’s something that should be there. Now, it is stated, in Hebrews 11: to Sarah’s credit, that she believed the miracle that the Word of God extended to her. But, it was only after, her first impulse of disbelief, when she was shocked by God into believing. Now, it doesn’t always take God to shock us. Marriage can do that. For, right after the romance of roses, comes the marriage of thorns, following the ceremony. True. That shock, should turn the woman and the man to God. Particularly the woman, because, she’s the one who’s going to bear the child. Man’s sex act, is a few minutes, hers’ is nine solid months, and from then on, years of bringing that child up. Now, woman has begun to shuck that. For the first time, four years ago, more women left husbands and children, than, husbands leave wives and children. 25. This year, book was written, by a poll taken by women themselves. And they were absolutely dumbfounded, and muzzled, they couldn’t even talk what they found out, what they wrote in the book. And that was; women have left their kindness, their sweetness, their consideration. Men haven it, but, not women. Thirdly, no man wants to fall into the hands of a woman terrorist. She’ll just kill you like that, or ruin you. Man, that is a terrorist, can only pray, if I fall into the hands of another terrorist, may it not be a woman. Bad shape we’re in. Didn’t need to be that way. You see, it all started back there in the Garden. All started…what the Word of God was all about. See? Now, marriage can cause a woman a lot of trouble. And that shock, of finding that man not the complete jewel that he should be. Can be the shock that turns the person to God. Though, sorry to say, in too many instances, it does not turn the person to God, it turns the person away from God. Now, I’m not around your homes enough, to know all about you. But, I don’t suppose I’m hitting anybody here this morning. But, I’m telling you this one thing. If your marriage is sort of shaky, there’s just one reason. You’re not praying enough together. And you’re not getting enough together on the Word of Almighty God. Period! That’s all there is to it, because, it’s all laid out here for you. 26. It’s laid out for me, and it’s laid out for you. And, the big trouble of the whole thing is, that stubborn spirit, that simply will not say, “Hey, let’s pray about it.” And you know as well as I do, that the minute you say, “Let’s pray about it.” Something good begins to happen. You begin to put yourself under Almighty God. And this is where Mother’s Day is so absolutely important to me, recognizing that, what it is, is birth that makes a woman a mother. But, it is beyond the fact that how she becomes a mother in the physical, is how she is prepared, to the graces of Almighty God, to be the great woman that she knows she ought to be. Now, child bearing is an ordeal for a woman. No matter what people say, it takes great strength and stamina. I wonder myself how they can do it. By faith the woman in her crucial time, she might look to her husband to be solicitous. And he is solicitous, I think most men are …try to be good to their wives, at that particular time. But, let’s face it. When it comes right down to it, what can that man really do for her? Extend a little sympathy. And by faith, try to help her. But, she’s the one, that’s absolutely stuck with the situation, where she has got to be responsible with her faith. And you know, I’ll tell you, I don’t believe that it’s…well, frankly…I don’t believe that if I’m in a place where I’ve got to lift a hundred pounds, and I haven’t practiced lifting twenty pounds, I’m never going to take care of a hundred. 27. So you see, motherhood has its’ roots in not simply two people getting married, and procreating biologically. But, it goes back to a faith. A revelation in God, where the woman can have that faith. And it’s done wonders. I remember years ago, like this little case of how, faith helped a certain woman. And it got to the place where her husband loved her very much. And he was good to her. He’s a nice Christian boy. But, the pregnancy has gone entirely wrong. And her vomiting became so severe, and everything was so severe, she lost weight, …I think she’s even bringing up blood. And the doctor said, “Well, we can’t let this go one another week. The baby is way on its’ way. But, we’ve got to take the baby, or, she’ll die.” So, they came to church. Our church. And I had no more faith at that time, practicing faith…than a hole in a bucket. If I had faith at all, it’d leak out through the hole, I’ll tell you that. And if you were with strong believers, in the charismatic. Which we don’t believe so strongly anymore. But, I’ve got to admit the fact that I talked in tongues, and I’m not ashamed of it. And I also interpreted, and I’m not ashamed, because my interpretation was right. And I remember that one morning, we were very sincere about this poor girl, she was a lovely girl. Beautiful young girl. And we were praying away, this was only the grace of Almighty God, let me tell you flat. Because, I said, I had no more faith than nothing, in the real aggressive manner, I should have. And I heard myself, a praying a little bit in tongues, and I heard myself say, …I forget all what was said, but, I heard myself say, “And I will heal her.” 28. Then, my sweat broke out…you talk about me sweating now, …I can sweat just being hot. But, you talk about…man, I’m very cagey. I’m kind of a fox. I’m used to cages. [BV chuckles] I got up and I say, “Now look, if that’s me, it ain’t even going to happen. But if that’s God, it will happen.” I don’t know which way it’s going to go. I kind of thought, it had to be God, because, I heard myself say it. But, you can hear yourself say something, and that doesn’t mean it’s God. You’ve might have got a bug-a-boo in there. Or, had a dose too much some kind of a shot. I’ve heard myself say things. I can’t say I know, because I said it, that was God. I can say, “I know that was God, because, I heard myself say something.” Hogwash. I don’t know it was God. I’ve got to be honest. So, I said, “Well, I hope that’s God.” It was. We prayed for her, and within a half an hour, she vomited up a thing about the size of a banana…an ugly yellow thing, stinking to high heaven. God, healed her. Now, I want to tell you something. When I was praying, that girl had faith. It wasn’t my faith, or the churches faith. It had to reside in that girl there, who had reached out and touched God. But, God was using somebody, and so He used us. Which I appreciate very much. But you see, it’s very difficult, to be a mother, and no matter what the husband does for her, that’s good. But, the woman knows what I’m talking about this morning. 29. There is a place where she’s in a valley of the shadow of death herself, and she’s got her decision, she’s got her stand. And it’s good for a mother, to understand that motherhood has its’ roots, not in biology, but, in faith. You see? That’s what makes strong women, and strong families, and strong things. Now, her husband may pray for her. That’s very good, but, as I say, she realizes more and more on herself, that she has got something to do. Now, a man’s love can encourage his wife and his faith. But, she’s still obligated to believe because, she is the one that actually meets that test. Now, there is no doubt in my mind that the practiced faith of the mother has an effect upon the child, to a goodly degree. Before birth, and after birth. There’s something definite there, in the Word of God. Now, let’s go over here, and we go to Genesis 3:16, for a little second here. And it says, [Gen. 3:16] (16) Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. 30. All right, now there is a word concerning her, that she does have the problems in childbirth. And as I said from Timothy, you can understand why that actually came, because the disobedience to the law of Almighty God. Going into the biological, and putting everything into it, instead of going the way of the Lord, and putting the depth of faith, into the Spiritual, as it should be. Now, we’re going to go to Timothy over here, this is 1 Timothy 2: I hope, yeah. Or is it…13-15. [1 Tim. 2:13-15] (13) For Adam was first formed, then Eve. (14) And Adam [BV in error says ‘Eve’ rather than Adam’] was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. (15) Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they (so) continue in (such a way.) Now, it says here, if they so continue, they will be saved in childbearing. Now, it shows there’s a definitive thing, …something defined here, concerning the woman’s faith. Because, it puts her in that special category, of a faith at this particular time. And, it does have a real effect upon the woman, and upon the offspring. Now, I want to read it over here, I’ll read it slightly on again. Now, he said, [2 Tim. 1:4] (4) Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy; (5) When I call to remembrance (he’s talking to Timothy here,) the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also. 31. Now, faith you understand, is not simply handed down. As though you could be born again and say, “Well, my child is going to be born again. And my grandchildren. All will be born again.” We’re not saying that. But, Paul does absolutely, lay something down here to us, that we understand, that the woman who is born again, and the woman who is definitely using her faith, has something going for her from God, in her conception, and in her delivery, and the life of that child is born to her. Now, you can say what you want, but God is no respecter of persons, and that’s why the prophet insisted at the end-time, he categorically said, “The lamb for the household. Claim, all your children.” Now, you can claim them for the second Resurrection, if you can’t claim them for the first Resurrection. You can claim, when the tragedies of earth begin to come, and the earthquakes begin to toss the world to and fro. And the sun becomes scorching hot. Who knows but God, would have a hand and a shadow upon him, and take him come out of this world, without miserable suffering, torment, and torture. See? Who knows? I don’t know. You don’t know. But, no prophet would give a word of encouragement, if there wasn’t something good to come. See? So therefore, we begin to understand, that women have a tremendous part in all this. And they cannot see, stand back. See? There’s too much in this Message today, where the man is the head, he’s the ‘honcho’. Listen you, fat-headed honchoes, take your honcho junk someplace else, and out of this church. Or, I’ll do my best to kill it with a 4 x 4. 32. Maybe you’ll go with it. I’m in a very sweet mood, so don’t take me too literal. But you see, I stand up here and preach the truth of what I know about a Message. People stand up here and make errors. It’s time to fix those errors up, before they go down the drain. Homes are broken up across the land because, of this honcho attitude. Women are being downed because of this honcho attitude. That’s a lot of hogwash. Women are upright citizens in the kingdom of God. They are the ones’ that brought us forth. I tell you, there’s something about America, that is motherhood and apple pie. But, there’s something in the sight of God, that goes a billion times beyond America, motherhood, and apple pie. And that is what God said about the whole thing. Though women are not second-class citizens, and they’ve got something to do. They’ve got something in there, that God can use. Look it, …women right today have something in them that’s so close to spiritism, but, it’s not spiritism, that it would amaze you. If it’s not spiritism, it can be used for good. Now, how many women that sit here this morning, you tell me that you don’t know when your kid’s in trouble? Shee…you read kids like a book. My wife can tell me right now about our kids. I’d say, “Ah, nah.” She was right. Why that little sixth sense, … seventh sense, eighth sense, anyways. It’s worth a dollar at times. [BV chuckles] I can tell you that. 33. It’s a mighty good sense to have. And they know, listen. All right. If they’ve got something in the natural, you let God give them something in the Spiritual, and see what they can do. And I believe that women, have risen up in the wrong areas, with their women’s lib. Now, I’m for women’s lib in this particular sense; the woman is liberated from her own blindness. Because, she’s been blind today, you can see that right in the Scripture. Representing a church, she gets liberated from blindness as to what this end-time Message is all about. That she’s obedient to the Word of God. And she’s a part, she’s literally a part with the man. In forming the union of the church with the Holy Spirit, to bring Jesus Christ right back here. That’s absolutely true. You show where it’s going to take a five-fold ministry. Show where it’s going to take a bunch of men. I’ll laugh in your face. It takes the whole Bride for Jesus Christ. It takes the whole body, of which there’s neither male not female coming in it. Don’t come and get to, …oh, we’ll get out of here. Oh, we’ll get out of here tomorrow, that’s okay. I’m only on page six, I’ve got fifteen now. …Listen. Now, let us understand that the woman Eve, and all women, in all times, have the prophetic command promise, to reproduce their husbands. Now, you say, “They’re going to reproduce themselves.” I’ll argue that point, and prove you’re wrong. 34. She is going to produce the husband. Because, everything the woman had, came from the husband, in the first place. You say, “Well Bro. Vayle, what about me and my husband?” I want to tell you something. The life that’s in you, goes all the way back to two sources, to Adam, from which Eve came, until the serpent. That’s all the genes you’ve got. See? Now, that’s infinitesimal, and I believe…this is not necessarily just Lee Vayle talking, I think I’ve got the truth here, if it’s wrong. I’ll tell you something. I believe within each one of us, lies the entire universe. Within each one of us, lies the entire human universe. There’s not one of us, lacks one thing. That’s why God, made that sperm so small, that 15,000 go across the diameter of a hair. The woman has one quarter million eggs, and if God wanted, she could have billions, but, it wouldn’t make any difference. What woman would reproduce one quarter of a million children? And one man, and one male ejaculate, could produce literally billions of children. What good would it do? But, you see what I’m trying to show you. In the infinitesimal, which comes together, it takes a high-powered microscope to see it. Lies in there, those things which boggle the human mind. I believe right today, when people are regressed into deep hypnosis, it is no more spiritism than nothing. It’s that man, way, way, back there, generations beyond, his forbearers spoke that language. 35. And by getting the conscious out of the way, he can bring forth what lies in those cells. You say what you want, I say different. That’s what I’m trying to say this morning. That the woman reproduces, her husband. Because, God knows exactly the genes to bring together, and the chromosomes. He brings the sperm and the eggs, with the right chromosomes, everything in there, in such a way, that He brings forth, that which is in the man. Because, everybody I believe, has it, as a …?.... I don’t know if that is confusing, or not. But, look it, it’s very beautiful to me. I’m going to tell you why. The odds against two individuals being identical twins, are astronomical. Exactly alike, not just, … except identical twins. And this is not necessarily just identical twins. This is really, really, really, a hundred percent alike. There are more than eight million ways, the twenty-three chromosomes of a mother,… and twenty-three of the father, to combine. Odds against two of the children having the same common chromosome, are about seventy trillion to one. That’s what lies within the male and the female. I’ll give you some more, that’s interesting. Eh? Let’s read some more. And each chromosome, …hold it…may have twelve hundred and fifty genes. The odds of two identical individuals, reach a number so high, it should be written; one… followed by nine thousand, and thirty-one, zeros. Never, will be that many people in the world for ages, and ages, and ages, and ages, to come. 36. Then, what lies in each one of you as male and female? You tell me then, God can’t reproduce the husband, through the wife. You’re not following Lee Vayle. I believe it, I’m a kook. Just, leave me alone. See? She is to reproduce the husband and a loving husband and a nice life, is very fine to strive for. But, the command to her is to bear children. She is to believe it. She is to be a wife, in order to be a mother. The woman types the church. And her husband is God. We saw that in Ephesians. Did you know that Eve like the church, lost her faith. And so much regained it, as did Sarah. The church left the Word, as did Eve. Let’s go back and see where Eve left the Word. Now, we’re leaving mothers to a degree, and we’re hitting, what I like to get into. I like to talk about these things that are in Scripture, that are types and all the rest. Okay. 1-7, [Gen. 3:1-7] (1) Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, (You) shall not eat of every tree of the garden? (2) And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: (3) But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, (You) shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. (4) And the serpent said unto the woman, (You) shall not surely die: (5) For God doth know that in the day (you) eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good (from) evil. (6) And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, … pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband … and he did eat (with her.) (7) And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. 37. Now, do you think eating an apple, made them sexually aware? Hogwash. Wouldn’t be an apricot. All right. 2 Corinthians, let’s find out what the apostle Paul said. He was motivated by the Holy Ghost. The Logos spoke to him, out of the Pillar of Fire. And he says here, 2 Cor. 11:3 (3) But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. (4) For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not (received), (you) might well bear with him. He’s telling you right there is what it is. Eve was off the Word. The church went off the Word. As Eve lost her virginity toward her husband, so, the church lost her virginity of the Word. That’s why it says, ‘virgins at the end-time’. The wise virgins come in, and the foolish virgins don’t come in. The rest aren’t even virgins. They’re harlots. See, there’s a big difference in there. We’re hitting the type. Now, the church left the Word, as did Eve. She got a wrong seed. Certainly. Eve got a wrong seed, she conceived by it, and brought forth the murderer. Let’s find out. Mat. 23:29 (29) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! (You) build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, (30) And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. (31) Wherefore (you) be witnesses unto yourselves, that (you) are the children of them which killed the prophets. 38. Yeah, if that isn’t the Roman Catholic church, and the Protestants church, the whole bunch. Soon as history runs out, they say, “Oh my, we should have been nice to Luther.” Said the Catholics, “Oh, yeah, they’d be with us today.” Then, now comes along, the Methodists, “Oh, we should have been nice to them Methodists, and they’d be nice with us now.” Then the Pentecostals came…listen, … “Oh, we should have been nice to the Pentecostals, it would have been wonderful it we had been.” Garnish the tomb. For, they’re the ones that killed Him. You think the spirit’s changed? Hogwash. You think that complex of Catholics and Protestant Churches, is any different? The old harlot, had daughters. They’re Protestant, I’ve got the record at home. Time magazine put it out. There’s not one Protestant church that didn’t come out of Catholicism. And the Catholics admit they love us. Said one time, “You couldn’t marry in front of their altars.” At one time every Protestant was a louse bound heathen. Suddenly they found out, which Rome knew all along, that they invented the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost trinity water baptism, and said, “Each Protestant, you’re one of us, you’ve got our baptism.” So, we’re all Roman Catholics. Not anymore. Not going to accept that. Chicken flew the coop. Eagle. All right. (31) Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. (32) Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. (33) (You) serpents, (you) generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? (34) Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them (you) shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall (you) scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: Now listen. (35) That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel (to) the blood of Zacharias … (and so on) … 39. Now who killed Abel? Cain. Eve was the mother of all living. Right? Now, do you think that he was Adam’s seed? In no way. In no way. She copulated with the serpent. Now, he wasn’t a four-footed beast. He wasn’t a snake. He was a beautiful, handsome man. Far more handsome than men are today. Far more, manly. That’s where the giants came from. Big, beautiful, rugged, person. All right. Who killed Abel? Of course, we know who did it. Why? And it pins it down as a false religion. Eve played the harlot, and brought in a murderer of Adam’s seed. She bore both seeds. She was the bedding ground. Her purpose was to bring forth. But, she wasn’t just to bring forth anything. She was to bring forth something very special. Let’s go back to Revelation 17:1-6, Rev. 17:1-6, (1) … I will (show you) the judgment of the great whore that (sits) upon many waters: (2) With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, (What’s fornication? Pre-marital act. They’re) … drunk with the wine of her fornication. Who should toast the Bride? Not some filthy, stinking fornicator, you’re guzzling wine with. True woman with Christ, she’ll take the Lord’s supper. (3) So, he carried me away in the spirit … and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, (Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, you name it.) having seven heads and ten horns. (That’s the Roman Empire, way back there.) (4) And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet … decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: (5) And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. (6) And I saw the woman (drunk) with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: … 40. Now, I ask you. Who killed the saints, millions and millions of saints? The Roman Catholic Church. Ah…until the Protestants finally turned around with the Catholics…no problem. Why shouldn’t they? Same seed. Same seed, don’t tell me it’s different between the Catholics and the Protestants. What issued out of the whore? The one, that fornicated. What is a whore? Unfaithful. A woman chasing around. Eve played the whore. Let’s face it. Does the Bible say the same thing about a woman doing it? That’s what the Old Testament called her. Don’t you mess up her vows to her betrothed, the man espoused to her. She was absolutely called a whore. So, the seeds of the penalty had to come. What was it? Fire, stoning. Doesn’t the Great Tribulation bring forth stones, a hundred pounds out of heaven? And doesn’t it bring forth fire? Certainly. What’s it for. This woman, she was a bedding ground, committing adultery, committing fornication. Kings of the earth. In other words, she’s played up to the Big Guy. Who’d like the mayor in the city, in our church? Hogwash. I don’t even know him, I care less. You say, Bro. Vayle, you want to get saved, wouldn’t it help? Sure, if you want to get saved. We’re not looking for membership. Anybody think we’re going to chase around babying people this late in the day. Forget it. Let’s get this straight, fifteen seconds from now. And don’t you forget it. And I tell you, and I’m here to baby you. As long as I’m filling in, you’re on tape and I’ll baby it. I’ll lay the record out, and that’s the end of it. We’re not kids anymore. People think, “Hey, we’ve got to be patted, on the royal seat.” Powder, and talcum and …?... Forget it. 41. Too late in the day, for that nonsense. The language is unproven, but, it’s strong. See? All right. The mess the church is in. What does God say about the church today? ‘Wretched, miserable, blind, naked.’ And you think you’ve got it all. You say, “Well, I’m increased in goods, I don’t lack a thing, I’m wonderful.” He said, “You are all wrong.” Now the woman with Adam, was meant to fulfill Genesis 1:26-28. But, instead in motherhood, she brought about Genesis 3:14-19. Now, you know that Genesis 1:26-28, that was to fulfill the commandment of God, to replenish the earth, and take over and multiply. Instead, what happened? All right. We’ve got over here in Genesis 3:14-19, and it tells you this, [Gen. 3:14-19] (14) And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, (so a curse comes upon all nature.) … upon thy belly (you’re going to) go, … (15) And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; … And it tells you, way down in the future, there’s going to be a seed, she’ll have a seed, and there’s going to be enmity. And the enmity, all through the ages of church history, as everybody persecuted the children of God, and Israel. Started right back in the day of Abraham. Got it right back when Ishmael, rose up against Isaac. Showed, it went right on with Esau, went against Jacob. Went on down the line. When the sons of Jacob came out, and formed an amalgamation under Almighty God, the nations, set themselves to destroy them. And even that man Balaam, who could prophesy correctly, false anointed. Did his best destroy, he was the church and they were in the church. And they came out of the same seed. 42. Way on back there, but it went haywire. See? Got off on their creeds and their dogmas in there, away from Almighty God. Now, she brings a curse on the world. She brings on multiplied conception. Why? For this reason. “(Many more are the children of the desolate), than she (who has got a) husband.” [Galatians 4:27] The Bride is going to be very, very few. But, that world church out there, is going to have millions and millions. And they’ll be so big, they can swallow up everything. Right today, there’s a contest going on, and it’s politics. And it’s church. Now, out there the politicians at this time, are ruling and reigning. But, the church is working undercover. And at this time, the politicians have more members, drawn within their nets, in the church. But, you watch the moment we hit a depression, and the dollar starts to go down. The church will rise, and take over politics. Don’t you think that they won’t, because, they will. Now, you show me where God endorsed that. When they do, the thumbscrews begin to get turned. Now you’ve got to get organized, you’ve got to become one of us. Got to do so and so. Got to be so nice. It’s very simple what they do. You can’t buy or sell without us. Now, you say, “I’m not going to join.” Oh, they say, “Come, come you really don’t want to starve, do you? You’re such a lovely person, you wouldn’t stand here and refuse, what we could give you in the name of Jesus Christ, and the love of God. Surely, you won’t starve.” You say, “I can’t do it.” “Then I’d help you, but, I can’t do it.” 43. Then, you just die, if the Lord don’t take you out of here. Doesn’t take you out of here. All right. Multiplied conceptions. The world church is going to be greater. And [God] said [to Adam], [correction BV just said ‘Adam’] “Because you said, you hearkened to the voice of your wife, you’re going to die.” First of all, you go through the curse. And don’t you know, when man listened to the voice of man, instead of the voice of Almighty God, at the end-time, where the curse becomes fulfilled. Because, that’s what we’re talking about. He will go through the Great Tribulation, and he’ll go to the Lake of Fire, and …?... I’m hitting this very fast, and hard, so that you understand. Okay. Woman was supposed to be Ephesians 5:25-27. That was the Bride of Almighty God, but she ends up in Revelation 17:5 which makes her the consort, as a harlot with kings and those things that have no place in the kingdom. Listen. When Sarah was too old to bear, when it was too late for anyone but God. God did a miracle. He came down to her in the form of a man, and spoke to her, the Word of promise, that would change her. Now listen, the great end-time miracle in Sarah’s life, is exactly what we have in ours in, 1 Cor. 15:51 (51) Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but (we’re going to) be changed, 44. Now, what’s that change going to do? It’s going to bring Christ, the Son, that is heard. And the Bride with Him, to fulfill the promise that Eve threw to one side. In other words, a Bride will now fulfill the complete Word of promise, that was given to Eve, that she turned aside. That was given to Israel, that they turned aside. That was given to the church, to turn aside. But at this time, the same God comes down, in the form of a man, a prophet. The spirit of the prophet taking the Word of God from the Logos, to bring us the truth, which is Revelation 10:1-7. Which is James 5:5-7. Now, you folk by now, ought to know these Scriptures. But, I guess I better read them. Revelation 10:1-7 is the mighty messenger coming down, and time is running out, the Thunders revealed, at the time that Seventh Church Age messenger, stands on earth. But, what it says over here in James, … you may have forgotten, … he’s talking to the people concerning the Resurrection. [Jas. 5:7] (7) Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the (Presence) of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman (that’s Jesus) waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receives the early and latter rain. (8) Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the (Presence) of the Lord draweth nigh. 45. Now, he’s talking about the Resurrection. Now, God sends the messenger, and notice what that messenger will do in Revelation 18:1-5, He appears, within the realm of the harlot situation. Because, that’s exactly where he appeared. Now, 1-5 [Rev. 18:1-5] (1) And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. (2) And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. That’s Babylon. That’s your organized world religion. That’s just not Catholics, that’s Protestants, that’s the whole bunch. (3) For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. (4) And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, (now, that’s the call, ‘Come out of her.’ Get out.) that (you) be not partakers of her sins, and that (you) receive not of her plagues. (5) For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. 46. Now, that’s the way the church is. And He’s calling the church out, to get their garments washed. Because, that’s what it says in Revelation 22:10-14. And Revelation 22:10-14 at the time the Seals were opened. He said, (10) …(Don’t) Seal … the sayings of the … book: for the (Seals are opened.) (11) He that is unjust, … be unjust still: and he which is filthy, … filthy still: and he that is righteous, … righteous still: and he that is holy, … holy still. (12) And, (I am comong) quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. (13) I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. (14) Blessed are they that do his commandments, (No sir! Blessed are they that wash their robes) Blessed are they that wash their robes. All right, remember what I told you what that was. That’s over here in, Eph. 5:26-27 (26) That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, (27) That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 47. In other words, God is doing a job by the Word, that is absolutely cleansing the garment of the Bride. Because, her defilement, lay in leaving the Word. Now that she’s back to The Word, she no longer is defiled. She’s cleansed. Now, who did it? God did it by coming down, Revelation 10:1, to a prophet in Revelation 10:7, opened the Seven Seals, opened the Seven Thunders, revealed the Word of God. At that time, there’s a split, “Come out of her my people.” They want to stay in, go ahead. It’ll show what you are, because, the foolish virgin will die in the Great Tribulation. No way out. See? Now, was the hour of 1 Corinthians 15:51 we quoted. Ephesians 5:25-26, listen to me. God’s Word to Sarah, gave her the revelation of faith. And she became strong, when all else seemed too late, she conceived. And she reproduced Abraham. Brought forth a son. Heir to all Abraham had, and he ruled over his father’s substance. And remember, when Abraham remarried, he sent away the seven sons of Keturah, but gave the whole lock, stock, and barrel, to Isaac. Which is exactly what’s going to happen with Christ and a Bride, and the rest will not come up for one thousand years, to have an inheritance outside of the holy city, and the Bride and Christ, shall reign over them with a benificiences of Almighty God, that sits in a Pillar of Fire. That’s pretty wonderful, just the same. The true church today is in the hour of her greatest failure. We saw that over here in Revelation 3: where God says to her, [Rev. 3:16-17] (16) …(you’re) lukewarm, … (I’m going to spew you) out of my mouth. (17) … (You say you’re) rich, and increased with goods, (you don’t) need (a thing); and (you don’t know that you haven’t got enough spiritual savvy to know you’re) wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 48. Listen to me. What kind of a person is that? I’ll tell you, it’s like a woman who simply has a pleasurable life with her husband. And doesn’t know she has a higher calling toward Almighty God. “And she’s living in pleasure, is dead while she liveth”. [1 Timothy 5:6] It’s just like a man, who thinks all that life is, is the good things God can give here. They shall perish. It’s just like the Bible says, “They shall perish, the world is going to wax old like a garment. But thou remainest Oh God.” [Psalms 102:26] I’d sooner have God, then know I’m going to stand stock still, when all these things come upon the earth. He said, “Here you are, in this miserable condition, wretched, miserable, blind, naked, and don’t even know it.” Here you’re talking as though you’ve got the wedding garment on. Talking as though you’ve got wisdom. Talking as though everything is just going wonderful for you. Increased in goods, and rich, and marvelous. And He said, “You haven’t got a thing.” I want to tell you brother/sister, if people are miserable, wretched, miserable, blind, and don’t know it, they’re insane. That’s just not spiritual. It’s the same promise is delivered unto us though Malachi 4:1-6 at the end-time. The great day of God, when the earth is going to burn. He said, “Before that day, I’ll visit you with Elijah the prophet, that you might know the things of Almighty God.” So, at this time we see Genesis 1:26-28 being fulfilled. That is; replenish the earth, multiply and take over. We see now, Revelation 5:8-10 coming to pass (8) …(The) elders fell down before (Him, when the Seals were opened) (9) And they sung a new song, saying, (concerning Jesus, the man, that sits upon the throne there, the high priest, Melchezidec) Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals …for thou (has)slain, (the demons unto) … God by thy blood … of every kindred, and tongue, … and nation; (10) And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. 49. And Revelation 20:1-6 it says the same thing. Oh, the false church claims it will do it, but, it won’t. Let’s get this straight, for we read it in Galatians 4:19-31, Hagar was the wrong seedbed. The seed came to her. Don’t tell me the Word of God didn’t come to Israel. Now, I read it to you last night, and I showed you. I’m showing you again. Matthew 23: so, you’ll understand what I’m preaching these days. Everything dovetails, everything is beautiful. Just open your Spiritual mind. He’s talking the Pharisees, and He says, [Mat, 23:27-29] (27) …(you’re) whited sepulchres, (pretty on the outside, … full of dead men's bones, and (you’re filthy inside.) (28) … (outward you) appear righteous …, but (inside, you’re a bunch of lousy hypocrites) … (29) … (Hypocrites He says, building) the tombs of the prophets, … That your fathers destroyed, and you align yourself with your fathers, the same spirit, that was upon them that killed the prophets back there, will kill the prophets today. Then He says in, (32) Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. (33) (You) serpents, (you) generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? Well, what did He come to back there? Tea party, pink lace, pretty frilly things? Hogwash. He came to a bunch of infidels. What a mess He came into. And the same thing today, “rich, wretched, miserable, blind, naked. And don’t even know it.” [Revelation 3:17] See? Full of the mystery of iniquity. In other words, what is iniquity? What is that real sin that is within the church? I’ll tell you. They got away from the Word, they took their creeds and dogmas of man. So, here He was. He came into the bedding ground. This woman had a bedding ground. And the seed came to her, and look what happened. Wrong bedding ground. And the seed came, Jesus came to the bedding ground, turned Him down flat. See? 50. And the seed comes at the end-time to a bedding ground. And the world turns it down, flat. But, there’s a little group in there. He said, “Come out of her my people.” And they take the seed of the Word, and they bring Him back. They bring the Son back. They produce the Son of God in flesh. I be married to Almighty God, and the whole …?... goes through the Word. Do you follow me, what I’m talking about? That’s why motherhood is a sacred thing. That’s why it’s not a sex act, that brings on a child only. There must be a responsibility towards God. That’s what’s wrong in the churches, that’s what’s wrong in our church. The women are not teaching their daughters, and the husbands’ the things they ought to know. And I deplore it. Our kids are gone…too late. But, I’ll warn you. This is Mother’s Day, you bet it is. There’s a grand and glorious Mother’s Day just around the corner, or I’m going to quit. Then they’ll understand what I’m talking about. There’s a grand and glorious Mother’s Day, right around the corner brother/sister. The Bride is pregnant, with the Word of Almighty God. And she will bring Him back to earth. Through the work of the Holy Spirit. There is a Bride without spot, without wrinkle. And a pipe, by a woman. Women aren’t second class citizens. The only time they’re second class citizens, is when they make themselves second class citizens. And the only time a man is a first-class citizen, is when he makes himself a first-class citizen, through the grace of Almighty God. That’s right. So, this is a Mother’s Day, believe me. I hope it’s the last. I hope the Mother’s Day I’m talking about, that brings Him back, along with anything else, I hope so. Yes sir, I do. I believe, I believe it’s all separate. 51. Hagar’s been kicked out, with her kids. I believe with all, the curtain is running down. I believe Ishmael was out there, selling his birthright. They’ve done it already. He came on His own, and His own received Him not. Then, He came on His own, again His own, kicked Him out and crucified to themselves, the Son of God afresh. But, unlike little Mary, she stood there, “Be it unto me, according to Thy Word.” And she brought forth the Son of man. And I’m going to tell you right now, that Son of man has visited here by the Holy Ghost. But, one of these days, He’s going to be flesh again, just above us. Caught up in that dimension. We’ll see Him face to face. Not, by revelation, but we’ll see Him face to face. Look at the nail prints, on the hands and the feet. And the wound in the side. As far as …?... And the Bride, that is going to bring Him back. Ah, it’s a great Mother’s Day. New Jerusalem, is bringing Him back. Do you believe it? I know it’s what He said so. [bolded for BV’s emphasis] So, let’s rise. Merciful God, we come to you this morning, in thanking You for Your kindness. Lord, having said things terribly, terribly, rapidly. Lord, You understand, and I believe the people understand. Could have preached longer, but, my God, so many times it is not necessary. Catch the vision this morning to see, we’re in the most glorious Mother’s Day of all. God, in a Bride, coming together. Uniting time, to bring Him back to earth. And we with Him, to reign and rule to fulfill everything that Eve did not fill. Because she got astray. Did not understand what the true union meant. And many people still don’t understand, but, this morning Lord, by Your grace, we can understand. Father God, may in our churches, may we pray for our groups Lord. And it we’re selfish, forgive us Lord, forgive us. I don’t think we’re necessarily selfish Lord, to pray for our Mothers’ Day. And our churches all around the country, all around the world, God, may they see their responsibility, as women typing the glorious end-time. They’re faithful Lord, unto You. Faithful right down the line to the Word, as they bring forth children, may they know it’s an act from Almighty God. And a child born from God. Lord at this end-time, You’ll take care of them. You’ll bring it out safely. Lord, all these things with a great and wonderful purpose. May we all begin to see Lord, as never before, that It is Jesus, and I come from God, and I go back to God. So, this world came, pristine fresh from Your hand. Look what’s been done to it. It’s going to go back, coming forth from Your hand. Looking there in the holiness and blessedness of…not so much holiness Lord maybe, but not in the particular sense of innocence at that time, it must have been a beautiful thing. And we see now, men’s conscience so badly seared, with their lives messed up. But, oh what hope there is, there’ll be a Bride comes forth perfect with His perfection. Perfect with Him. Everything being consummated, according to the Word of God. And that’s going to bring forth the dead out of the ground. That’s going to bring us all together. That’s going to bring us all up in the air. We meet you, then come back. And fulfill that Word of promise, ‘Be fruitful and multiply, replenish the earth.’ And take over. Lord, I believe that’s Your Word, and I say with the prophet this morning, “If we’re not Bride, there’s a Bride out there somewhere, and by the grace of God, we won’t stand in her way.” But, by the grace of God, we are Bride. And by that same grace, nobody but nobody, can stand in our way. We’re marching to Zion. Bless Your people this morning. Fill them with zeal. With an unction from the Holy Ghost, in determination Lord, they’ll put all these things away, but that which pertains to faith. Now, unto the King eternal and immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be all power and honour and glory through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. Let’s sing that song ‘We’re Marching to Zion’ [congregation sings the song, audio ends] Mother’s Day (#0381) Page PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 2
