Looking # 1 Bro. Lee Vayle - March 3, 1978 [Only last part of this message available - sound quality poor in places] 1. …part of Him. There's your antitype of Eve taken out of Adam. As Eve was in Adam, so therefore we were in Christ, and as she was brought to maturity, so are we brought to maturity in Jesus Christ to serve our purpose. Now, we know that we are part of Him Who revealed Himself at the end time. We are part of the revealed Christ, we are part of the revealed Word, His Own revelation of Himself. If so, our major then is our Husband according to what I read. And our Father is our Bridegroom. In other words, you often hear the story …?... marry her young, raised her the way I want her, she'll be a good wife that way. Well, it's kind of cute, but doesn't work that way, but with God it does. God takes a virgin of His Word and raises her the way He wants then He married her. Our Maker is our Husband, and that's the best that there could possibly be. That's why (you know) little girls that marry older men many times have a father complex. I wish all of us had a Father complex. We really do, but I wish we were more manifest. (See?) 2. Now, do we know for certainty as Bro. Branham said, "He became us that we might become Him." Can we see that poor lost sinners are proven to be redeemed back to Him as a part of Him, and our old identity is gone, and a new one is here, because he said, "I don't even call you saints anymore, I call you Bride." What I just said there so fast you might not have caught. But I want you to realize we're all poor lost sinners, and it was proven in this hour through the prophetically vindicated Message. It wasn’t the prophet vindicated, (although Bro. Branham said so) that's not really actually down to earth truth, especially when the best bet any…that's maybe the best anybody's pressured. But what was God doing? God was vindicating Himself, not a prophet. He used the prophet that God was proving Himself, showing Himself. It wasn't the prophet, It was God. Yes sir, brother/sister, that's what counts. I don't eat the cowhide, I eat the cow. Never was fussy about cowhides, just take the skin off and eat the cow. And that's the way Bro. Branham was, when he was the cowhide that hit that beautiful Word. And I loved him as the cowhide, a mighty good cowhide, but I want what came…I want the other, I want that meat, Bread sent down from heaven. Bro. Branham would understand what I'm saying. Because he never raised himself up, and thank God he didn't. I can talk about the good things, but he couldn't talk about himself. 3. Now, can we then see as poor lost sinners, it has been proven to us, that we have been redeemed back to Him to the opening of those Seven Seals. Our old identity is gone, and the new one is here. No longer saints but Bride. Now, that is what this 'Looking' is all about. That's what it is all about. It's over here in 2 Corinthians 3:2-18. He said, (2) Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: (3) Forasmuch as (you're) manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us,… In other words, "I gave you the Word, and now you're the Word Itself in human flesh." Not tablets, not stone, not pen and ink. But fleshly table of hearts by the Spirit of God. Now, let me read the bottom, (just read the rest yourselves.) But listen, let's go down to the back part. And It says, verse 17. (17) Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. (18) But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. Now It tells right here, that as we are able to look at that Word and see ourselves as a part of It, we are going to be changed, transfigured. The word 'transformed' is in there. An actual transfiguration, transformation. We will get our change for the Rapture in that very way. 4. Look at Romans 12:2 , It says here: (2) And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, …(be changed like caterpillar to a butterfly. Be changed from …?... Be changed from mortal to immortality.) In other words, get ready for your part in the Resurrection through the process of your mind. That's why there's no system. That's why there's no sensation. That's why there's no manifestation. It's all in here to get down there. Physical mechanical faith becomes absolute life giving faith down here and It'll change you. 5. Now brother/sister, look at the pit once and for all. It's gone, the pit of your own corruption is finished, you've been digged from it. What have you been digged into? Dig into, hewed and into Christ. So, now we don't look at the back. Now remember, there's got to come a time when that hits the Bride. There has got to come a day as when Bro. Branham himself stood out there in the Colorado mountains. And he had obeyed God, and he said, "Lord, you see, I have kept my word, I didn't kill those deer like I could have killed them, they're right here." And God said, "If I have you kept your word, how much more have I kept Mine?" And he said, "Lee, from that moment I have no consciousness of guilt or sin." Because he saw the Rock whence he was hewn. Yes sir. This is an end time Message brother/ sister. A prophet came on the scene swinging both flaming swords, one on the left hand, and one on the right hand, cutting, whacking and hewing. And they said, "Aw, you can't touch women. They got those nice slacks, they cut their hair and they do this." Yes, they commit adultery too. I tell you see ...?... today I'm warning you God's Word said, "You watch it." You'd be caught in a trap. He came swinging those swords and they hated him. End time Message. Look at the mess the church is in, "wretched, miserable, naked, blind, and don't even know it." [Rev 3:17] Like the prostitute commits adultery, and it's no more to her than eating a piece of bread and say, "Well, that took care of that, got some money for it." The church is the same stinking mess. That rock and roll woman he saw, not the Bride of Christ, but that rock and roll American witch, filthy, no respect, no nothing. (See?) Take a last look, and forget it. Take a last look where you're digged from. You're out of the creeds and denominations, dogma and all that stuff. You're out of all this nonsense. Take a look at Christ, see yourself in Him. Yes sir. 6. Now, Ephesians 4:23-24 (23) (But) be renewed in the spirit of your mind; (24) And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. How are you going to get transformed? Through the mind. What doing looking? Now remember, remember those sisters, you do not look with your eyes, your eyes are only a camera, you actually see with your mind. That's right. True. You can even see without eyes. There's a perception people have like a sixth sense. Come up and just touch you and say, "You're wearing a brown suit." Tell you've got great eyes, got black hair and so on. Describe you to a tee. You don't see with your eyes, see with your mind. By faith you see something greater still. By the Holy Spirit you see Christ the Word. And you see yourself a part of Him. You see yourself a part of that Rock. You know, even today there is before us on television and on newspapers, and on radio that which says, the Prudential Life Insurance Company, I've got a piece of the rock. The most popular advertisement on insurance there is today. (See?) Prudential, Rock of Gibraltar. But we are a piece of the Rock, just a little piece, but that's all it takes. Now, let us see it, if we get carried away with ourselves, and count ourselves something by ourselves without Christ, all we've got to do is look at the pit, and we'll say, "I can see what I was." That's still my nature without Jesus. And when we look at ourselves, by ourselves and see our flesh and look at the Rock, God Himself revealed Word that came down to let His inheritance be known to us, and it was time for the Rapture to take us back to the Garden of Eden. We can say, "I'm a part of Him." "Because just such were some of you." [1 Cor 6:11] 7. Now, I'm going to close with the moral of the Message. It has been years of looking to God to see fulfill a question Bro. Branham asked. If you can believe God and get saved, can't you have faith for your children, or somebody else? And the answer this morning is, I know you can, because it happened. For years we waited for our boy, I knew he had to have something somewhere, went so far and …?... and turned him over to Satan, took our hands off. He's been through the mill, don't worry. I went through hell for nine years, but he went through twice the hell I went through. But I didn't need licken's that he needed. But today he could say, "Mother, Mom," (that's what he called her) he said, "The Bible said, you bring your child the way he ought to go, he'll not leave, or he'll return." [Prov 22:6] He returned. You say, "Is he going to live?" I believe by the grace of God he will live. But if he dies, I think I could take the funeral service myself. Because it doesn't really matter, it's all wining up anyway. There's not too much time to go. 8. I don't believe he's going to die. Many people don't understand I guess about what Bro. Branham said when he said, "Pray, I understand the perfect as I've been through it. And I've asked different ones to do it." Sometimes I make my phone calls. I made one the other night. And I called a certain young brother, because he's got just a thing if he lays hands on everybody he's got, which is, (you know) say, "Come on, we're going to pray." The next day, because I was worried about his speech and lack of strength. His mind wonders, the poison's coming out, the disease the whole thing, which is a terrible disease, that Lupus, it's a …?... it's a killer. I don't understand what all is happening, but I believe good is happening. Without a doubt something is happening good in his body. And you know, that day he was so sick, he said, "Well, I just can't eat." He's to the place now where it's like the inversion cure. Where if you're lying in bed and you're so sick, get out of the bed because the bed is somehow responsible. 9. So, you can tell that is a pretty bad problem with the mind, how the mind has been deranged as it were, through sickness, the fever, and the whole thing. And so, he crawled off the bed, but the strange thing was, he had strength to crawl to the bathroom to get a bath. It's the first time in two weeks. So, there's strength coming back there, and we're looking for God to do more for him. Even if it takes another night of prayer by somebody to get his health back, his strength back, now you get on the plane and come on home, because that also is necessary. Being there so much of the time only do so good. But listen, let me tell you one thing, Bro. Branham said, and I always remembered what he said, and I tried in a mediocre way to believe it. "If you can believe for yourself, can't you believe for somebody else?" 10. I wonder if there's homes this morning, and I'm pretty rough, and I don't what to make this too personal. Look, I didn't give you all the Scripture, but if I wanted to get mean this morning, you know I can be meaner than a snake. But I'm not here to be mean, but I'm asking you people this morning, and I don't usually talk unless I got some experience to go on. What is your family doing this morning? I look at some of you, you've got your chums, your kids, listen, where are they? You know why, they're rebellious. Who made them rebellious? Just the devil, or did you have a part in it? Now, you have to have faith for those kids. And you're going to have that kind of faith that they're going to look up to. Or they say, "Well, I'll tell you one thing, my dad and mom live it." You can't have a divided family and bring your family to Christ. You can't do it. Mother and Dad have got to pull together. Now, my wife and my marriage has not been a marriage without storm. Nope, we're human beings. I was brought up tragically wrong. I never knew the headship, a man in the house, and I was lucky to have brothers. So therefore, you didn't need a man around the place, I could call my sisters and brothers. I was wacked in line, many, many times. And they said, "If you smoke I'll kill you." And I knew they'd kill me if I smoked. I never dared smoke or drink or anything else. Because God could speak and say, "Now, let that stuff alone." I was very fortunate, see? But what about your homes this morning? Where are your children? Where are mine? I've got two outside yet. I got one under a promise of Bro. Branham that she'll come in. But I don't know where Don is. But I know that Grey will work on Don. He'll listen. 11.Now, as I say, our marriage was not the greatest marriage in the world. But let me tell you one thing, if our marriage had any success, I will say my wife was more responsible than I am. Now, we've been together years, like two peas in a pod. That's even worse. Because if you're going to rub, you can't rub elbows unless you're pretty close. And we're together twenty-four hours a day most of the time. That should even make it better or worse, but many time it made it worse. But never once was one unfaithful to the other. And never once did my wife, (now listen now, let me tell you something) never once did my wife ever say anything in the presence of the kids about me. Never once did she say anything but make them respect and love me. Now, you women, let me tell you something, my wife's not perfect. Because I can get mad at her. I told Mary the other day, (we're talking a little bit) and when I finished I said, "Well, I'm not just in what I am doing, because my wife had been a real godly wife and mother. And I'm talking to some of you. Where do you stack up? You say, "What about…" …?... I am not, because I will lay myself and tell you flat as I've told you, that if anybody could mess things up, Lee Vayle messed, but not my wife. Now, she gets out of turn like a woman does, because they've got their little …?... you know, where it is. You know, but never has she ever let down on reality or ever at anytime made me look bad. Just like Christ, she always tried to make me look good. 12. Now, I'm going to call you in this morning to task, because I …?... without a doubt. I don't have to live in your homes. But I know a lot are not under subjection to Christ. How are you going to have the promise for your kids? What am I going to do bring in that one boy that I don't know ever had an experience or not? It's going to depend on me. Remember, from whence I was digged in what I was, so I can have compassion on those kids and know it didn’t matter what they did. You know, I get mad, because you see, they do things I wouldn't do. I'm not going to be embarrassed, I'm going to tell you flat. Grey said his mother lived, I don't want that living in me, because you see he doesn't approve. But I want to bring him in …?... when I want to. He sold God for sex. Now, he hasn't had much for a long time. If God heals him, he won't. Where's his sex now? I'm talking very blunt you kids. You parents, get it now before the day ends. Get it now. You're few minutes per day if you could do it, is not twenty-four hours per day. You had better think of God. He sowed himself and he's paid a price. When he first got Lupus his body was so weak, taking …?... of even the very throat bones so sore he couldn't swallow. Perspiration pouring …?... to get one hand up toward his mouth. And he said, "This time mother I've never been sicker in my life." "The wages of sin is death." [Rom 6:26] "And the way of the transgressor is hard." [Prov 13:15] But I believe he's paying. Not for his dad and mom's sins, I believe he's paying for his own. 13. I brought a moral this morning, brother/sister, if this a moral of the sermon this morning, [knocks on the pulpit] I don't care if you're perverted, I don't care if you're laying with beasts, (it's been done) I don't care if you've robbed, I don't care what you've done. Paul said, "Such were some of you," when he named the difference in sins. But when he talked about sin, he said, "Such were all of you." [1 Cor 6:11a] '\"And I was the chief of the works, [1Tim 1:15b] because I was so mixed up, that even what I thought was my very best to please God, was the worst thing I could have done to try to get His favor." There's none of us today that's going to stand and say, "Lord, look at me." I wouldn't want to look at me, I tell you, if you sat behind a hundred and forty foot wall. He can see through a hundred and forty foot wall. But I want to look through the walls a veil has been broken down and see myself in Him. And I want to see my children in Him. I had faith on that day with that Word. You had faith on your day with that Word. You say you didn't. "Then hold to God's unchanging hand," and still have faith. Because one day they'll come in. One day they'll come in. 14. Now, Isaiah 53 is not in vain. Romans 5:15-21 is not in vain It cannot change. Christ conquers all when He died, he made and end of offering for sin, it's taken care of. I don't care of the heighth. I don't care of the depth when it comes to magnitude. I don't care about the extent of this and the quality meaning that most tragic things we can get involved in. There is a God in heaven Who has as it were, two sides. One the left hand weaker of judgment, and the right hand stronger, which is of grace. And I see that long left hand thundering out against every one of us challenge us what we are. But I see another right hand which is called Christ saying, "Come into Me." As you can forget the left hand, "Come ye blessed on my right hand." [Mt 25:24] Brother/sister, it's an end time message whether you thought it would be or not. It is. There'll never be an hour like this hour. There'll be a day like this day. And I want to call you now as sincerely as I can as your brother, just as wrong as you're wrong this morning, just as fallible as you're fallible. I'm not a prophet. God never put me in any straight tube, like he didn't put you in a tube, like He put Bro. Branham. 15. He never took the cigarette out of my mouth, when I thought I'd take a puff and said, "Oh God, if this is supposed to be good, forget it." I never could figure people just wanting to do things to hurt them, until somehow they got used to it. Although I did that with coffee. I don't care about the depth the quality of sin. I don't care how deep it is. Brother/sister listen, the rivers of grace began flowing back in Luther's day, up to the ankles. Wesley to the knees, Pentecost to the loins, but now there's waters to swim in that no man can cross. Because it's the waters of separation, who's in it already we'll be carried by the tide over there. And that grace of God to you parents is the same grace of God to your kids, it's the same grace of God to your neighbors. And that little faith in there that God had, he compared to hyssop as Bro. Branham said, "a little common weed." That little common faith in there can still bring our children to Jesus Christ and redemption. (See?) 16. Look at the pit from whence you were digged. Bro. Branham told me to do it many years ago, I was worried about Carol. It seemed she had the propensity to run into the pig pen and scream for help, get her out, she runs back in the pig pen and screams for help again. But, a lot of us has done that. We sat in Chicago one time, Don he said, "Lee, (he said) look (he said) let me tell you something, you and I both know we love Carol, (he said) we've done worse." And being a prophet, him being a prophet I couldn't help but answer quickly and say, "Yeah, that's right." Then wonder why I said it. Begin looking back and say, "Yeah, I've been worse." Looking at who he was, he'd done worse too. And Paul looking back said, "Yeah, I've been worse of the whole bunch." And I believe the most righteous person in all the world, even Joseph would say, "Yeah, but look at what I did. Look at what I am." That little faith brings them in brother/ sister. But this is that hour for one last look. There won't be another look, to look back. Nope. You say, "How do you know?" I don't know. Except I do know. I don't ask you to trust me. If you had to trust me, I wouldn't ask you to. But I'm going to tell you, I know within myself the sweep from the Word, that's the Voice, rather the Shout is going now rapidly to the Voice. 17. He who stood there and said, "I am that Word, " is now the same One about to say, "I am the Resurrection and the Life, he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And He that liveth and believes in Me shall never die, do you believe this?" [Jn 11:25-26] That's for this hour my brother/sister. The dead come out, and we're not going to change one last look and one last age, look back at that pit and forget it, and look to Him and put your faith in Him to bring your family in, to put them under the 'Token'. (See?) How am I going to do it? Start praying. Listen you men, I'll tell you something, you think you need help, call your brothers and says, "Come on over and say, "Why don't you just pray with me." And say, "If you don't want to pray all night, I sooner you wouldn't come, we might be here all night." You sisters, your husbands can take care of the kids. Get with the women sit and pray. It's the only thing you can do, because no other way you can do, you got to look to Him. Looking back at the pit won't do you any good, because that's what you were. Now, you've got to see a human made himself visible. (See?) "From whence you were hewed." [Isa 51:1] Oh God, humanness brother/sister, if you can take in nice little song, give us an anesthetic and say, "Now, you're so sweet, you won't even know it." No, He's chopping the chunks out, He's whacking here, He's whacking there. He's hitting the conscience's Yep, you follow me? Have faith in God. Have faith in God. Never lost a battle, never will, to take us through. Shall we rise at this time. Dear Lord Jesus, been here a long time talking, could have taken a whole lot more time, Lord, bringing all the Scripture out. But then again, I guess it's not necessary, one Scripture is as good as ten thousand. One verse could lead a man to God and keep him there as well as all the rest. But Lord in Heaven, I just pray now that there's not a mean spirit amongst us, there's no animosity here, there's no pointing fingers, it's just the truth, O God. In this last day we look at what the pit we're in, the pit of our own corruption, and then, O God, how can we judge another? How can we but just heal ourselves and cleave ourselves unto You together, Lord, go down that path the way we ought to go down. Forgive us, Lord, of our iniquities, our sins. Forgive us, Lord, of our misdemeanors, our unfaithfulness to Thee, Lord, our unfaithfulness to each other. God, having seen ourselves, we know that what else could we expect? But looking at You, now we see Him, what can we not expect? How wonderful, I'm looking, Lord, to Your great virtue and grace towards …?... each night, to encourage our faith, to encourage each other, to bring us right up into this reality. The revelation, the great revelation and we're a part of It. O God, Thy Word revealed the great revelation and we in ourselves a little revelation, a little part of that Word. Father, this morning, I just pray You'll take these words I've spoken and put a right spirit upon them, because I don't claim to be right in everything in my spirit, I want a right spirit, Lord, and I try to be proper this morning. With Your help I believe that I've accomplished a little bit of what is right in spirit, I don't know. I didn't get too far, but I pray, Lord, not that Your Spirit would take over, and just dwell like dew upon that Word, so the hearts of men and women here in Your children can receive It, and know that I'm not trying to grand an axe and run anybody down, because I've got the same problems they've got. Done the same things they've done. We've all to look at that Rock this morning. We've all got to grown in It, grow up in the very Head coming right under which is Christ. Father, this morning therefore I pray, let peace now come upon each heart. The peace of dedication saying, Lord, I've looked at the pit whence I digged, I'm looking at You. I'm looking in the Word, and by Your grace, Lord, the Token is applied we're going on as a family, we're going together. O God, I just bless every woman in Jesus' Name here, not that I'm a priest, or got any right. But, Lord, you did say to bless her, not curse. So, this morning, Lord, how since I've have not cursed, it wouldn't be a curse in me, no sir. That Lord there be a blessing this morning to bless this people, O God. May they be blessed with the understanding and the strength of the understanding to apply the Token today, and every day and bring a family into union, and communion unto Jesus Christ. Let grace be upon every home represented, O God. Let the anointing be there unto the provision of all spiritual things in heavenly places in Christ. Until It shines forth in the face and in the body, and we either, and we either come up in the Resurrection, or walk right through It into the Millennium. This I pray for this people, O God, grant It, may that Spirit be here this morning, Lord, that sweeps amongst us, as it were, the gifts are on the shelf. And there wouldn't be one feeble person amongst us, there wouldn't be one, but is risen in the strength of the Word. Now unto the King eternal, immortal, the only wise God, be all power and honor and glory in Jesus Christ. Amen. 'The Lord bless you.' Looking # 1 (0378A) Page PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 1
