Hope of His Calling # 7A 'He's the Same Yesterday, Today and Forever' Bro. Lee Vayle - July 19, 1981 Heavenly Father, we thank You that this is not just a song, wishful thinking, something, Lord, that we of ourselves would hope for, or conjecture, but this the vindicated truth against which the gates of hell are trying to persist that You are here now, and that You are the same yesterday, and today and forever. And we're happy, Lord, to acknowledge that and to see how that dovetails in this hour with the Scripture, so that we know what was previously Alpha had not become Omega. And It is our lot and portion to see that which all the prophets and all those of all ages have longed for and looked for. And here It is in this very moment, and we, Lord, know that we could be unaware of It except that You chose us to the revelation at this hour. Lord, that You did it all, and You are doing it all. And we simply have to stand back and say, this is the work of the Lord, the hand of God, we rejoice and are glad. So, we're happy this morning, Lord, to know that the Captain of the host of Almighty God is in our midst today, God Himself, doing His work amongst us which we're so grateful. Now, Lord, help us in our studies, bring every thought into captivity, Lord, every mind to be sharp with the sharpness, discernment of the Holy Spirit. The minds, Lord, brought into subjection knowing this is the age of the mind, that we might positively constantly bend to the Word this morning and accepted. Not from man, but as It was delivered by You through the sounding board the voice of the prophet. May we be absolutely one with that this morning. This will be our share of happiness, Lord, we appreciate that. We believe You've heard us, and we praise You in Jesus' Name. Amen. You may be seated. Now, it's very nice to be back here in the house of the Lord, it's everything getting to be more and more everything to us, until it might not be too bad to just forget what the prophet said, and put a kitchen in the basement and just kind of live here. However, if you got a tray of goodies in the pulpit, (I hope so) you won't need to worry, we'll just…we'll bypass the other at least for the time being. [Bro. Vayle addresses local issues] [0- 12 skip these] 1. Now, we're into sermon # 7A, Ephesians 1:15-23. The sub-title 'The Hope of His Calling'. And we go back to Ephesians 1: and we read as usual, beginning in verse 15. (15) Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, (16) Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; (17) That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: (18) The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that (you) may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, (19) And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, (20) Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, (21) Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 2. Now, out text at this point was "the eyes of your [correction] heart being enlightened," but more importantly "that you may know what is the hope of His calling." Now, in our first message on this portion last Sunday, we viewed especially the two words, 'calling' and 'hope'. And we first noted that It was said in Ephesians 1:18, 'His calling', in contradistinction to such verses as 1 Corinthians 1:26. (26) For (you) see your calling… And Ephesians 4:4, (4) …even as (you) are called in one hope of your calling; So, the phraseology here, 'His calling', is in contradistinction, (as least presently) to your calling. Now, this is the only place it actually speaks of 'His calling' anywhere in Scripture. Now, all other nine places that refer to 'a heavenly calling'. Now, there's ten that refer to 'calling.' But there's nine that refer to 'heavenly', or that which is unnatural as in contradistinction to a natural. So, all other nine places that refer to a 'heavenly calling', or 'diving calling', speak of 'your calling', 'high calling', 'holy calling', and this calling to mentioned what the majority speak of. 3. Now, but we found in Romans 11:29. So, we'll look at It, because here's where we get the one little clue that's going to help us. (29) For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. And you'll notice that 'gifts' are un plural, but 'calling' is in the singular. There is only one calling that God has. And according to the context of Romans 11 which we read in entirety last week, the calling has singularly will be actually to do with election. Thus we saw that this calling had to have its roots and trunk, and branches in the sovereignty of God. And was fulfilled, or manifested, or produced into substance through election and predestination. (Now, you follow me, what I said?) Calling has to do with election. Whatever that calling is, no way could you see it come into manifestation, except through the process of the election. It's just like the Bible said, "Let there be light." Well, there was light. What came into manifestation? Light. All right, there's a calling. What brings it into manifestation? Election. (You see?) 4. All right, now then in other words, God explained His calling what it was in Romans 11, here. Then in Hebrews 3:1, and we're going to read It. (1) Wherefore, holy brethren, (fellow companions, the word 'partakers' is not correctly translated.) Wherefore, holy brethren, (fellow companions) of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our (confession,) Jesus Christ. Now, then in Hebrews 3:1 we found that there was a group of companions to a heavenly calling, who were called 'holy brethren'. Now, the question will come, what are they companion to? Not with each other, although that goes without saying, 5. Now, these are they of Hebrews 2:9-18 (9) But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every…(and I've told you before the word 'man' should be in italics. It is not in the original.) (10) For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. (11) For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: (or one source, or one father) for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, Now, the question comes up, why is God, not Jesus, not ashamed to call us brethren? Because we are brethren. Now, I know the church goes in a tizzy…(and I'm trying to compose myself, so that I don't use gutter language. My Lord, I can't help myself, I'm a gutter preacher.) You can see snot nosed Christians, (and I've said it) and you're just literally ashamed of them. Right? And we judge. And we got upset. It's not what the Bible says. He's not ashamed, because they are brethren by one source. 6. You say, "Well, how could this man be a real Christian and do so and so?" Aw…how could David have four hundred and ninety nine wives, and then kill somebody else to get her? A man after God's Own heart yet. Pardon my gutter language, but I'm right with the Word. "He's the same yesterday…" (You missed it Sunday didn't you? You didn't catch what I was saying.) The One Who is our midst today is "the same yesterday, today and forever." [Heb 13:8] And when He got through talking to Abraham and Sarah, and said, "Sarah is going to have a child." She says, "No way." Then she lied about it. Then when they got their change, they went down to Egypt and got a poor king in trouble and lied about it. Oh, that's a pretty nice witness isn't? (Uh?) I didn't write the Bible. I'm saying what the prophet said. He was privy to a whole lot more than I was privy to. He said, "Israel came out of Egypt." Right? 7. And old Balak said, "Balaam, I want to tell you there ain't nobody perfect. There's got to be some way you can curse that bunch that's come in like an avalanche of grasshoppers. Tell you why, sneak in behind and see what they're really like." He said, "They don't look too bad in the front yard, but oh boy, you get him in the back yard." So, Balaam goes tippy-toeing down there and he gets peaking up on a high mountain and he said, "Man, I can see them back parts, (he said) they ain't got nothing to write home about." He said, "I can see where I can curse those guys real easy." And he opened his mouth and a stream of blessings came out. "He's the same yesterday, and today, and forever." Because this is crossover time over Jordan, and a showdown time in Sodom. And Bro. Branham said, "That great..." get this flat, I know what I'm talking to this morning, got a strange…I look you right in the eye. Let's get this flat my brother, my sister whoever you are, (those that I know and don't know) the prophet said, "That great thing to come was not character." Did he? "It was not fruit." Did he not say it? "Not getting nearer to God." Did he not say it? "And not manifested power." Now, what is it? "He's the same yesterday, today and forever." Grace my brother, my sister. (See?) 8. One source, "not ashamed to call them brethren." I diverted, but I'm back in the main channel. (12) Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, (to name a God, the Father) in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee. (13) And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God (had) given me. (14) Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, (we'll hit that in a minute) he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him (or bring to nothing) that had the power of death, that is, the devil; (15) And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. (16) For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; (that is a figure and contour in the form, and their status in God's creation) but he took on him the seed of Abraham. (He became a human being.) (17) (Therefore) in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful (in high priest) in things pertaining to God, (and) make (not) reconciliation (but propitiation) for the sins of the people. (18) For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to (help those) succour (those who) are tempted. Now, the verses we looked at particularly for both he sanctifieth, that's Jesus, and they who are sanctified are the ones (like you and me) are of one source. That is the cause why He's not ashamed to call them brethren, because they are brethren. But he uses the word 'ashamed' in there to let you know that we can be pretty seedy. (12) Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee. 9. Thus we find that His calling is our calling in actually one calling. It is all one election as It says in Ephesians 1:3-6. Now, let's find out if I told you the truth. (3) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: (With all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:) (4) According as he hath chosen us in him before… (there was a speck of star-dust.) Where were they? Where were they? People are prone to believe they weren't. They were! (4) (…in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him (Period!) in love: (5) Having predestinated us… In the mind, election, foreknowledge, election, predestination, glorification. In the mind is the sovereignty of God. In the mind, the calling of God goes back to sovereignty, goes back to God Himself. (See?) And that calling has everything to do with election. No election, no calling. Sovereign. (5) Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, That's why all things are by Him and for Him, and to Him, because we were in Him, we came by Him, we're saved by Him, and we go back to Him. Salvation is of God. (5) … according to the good pleasure of his will, [correction made] (6) To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. Now, look it, Ephesians 1:3. (3) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places… Where were we? In Christ. (Hold your finger there if you want, which is good idea, because we're going to come back a little later.) 10. We Go to John 1: (1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (2) The same was in the beginning with God. In the beginning therefore was the Bride, and the Bride was with God, and the Bride had to be a part of God, though infinitesimal compared with this One. Because we were in that One, which it the Logos. (3) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. Now: (14) And the Word (b ecame) flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)… Let me tell you something: every one of us here beat Jesus Christ to something. That's in the history of man, (generically speaking, historically speaking) And I'm going to show you what we beat Him at. We sort of beat Him at His Own game. 11. Go back to Hebrews 2:12 (12) Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee. (13) And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me. (14) Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood,… Now, if I'm going to take part of anything I've got to be there to do it. Is that right? Then before anyone was ever born into this world, before Adam was flesh and blood, before Eve was flesh and blood, before any elect was flesh and blood, they were already somewhere which was in Christ. And original man was here in flesh before Jesus was. Now, let me show it to you: (14) Forasmuch then (much as them) the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself took part of the same; … And the Word was made flesh and dwelled among us The same thing we were somewhere in a form and became flesh. Now, you just try to get away from God. All right, calling has to do with election. All right, we next saw that the word 'hope' was associated numerous times, though not a hundred percent exclusively, but more times than not with the Resurrection. 12. In the Book of Acts chapter 2:26, always go back to the beginning to see where you are at the end. If you don’t do it, you're never going to get anywhere. Let's go back to the beginning. (26) Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: Notice It said the flesh. Do you think that Logos had anything to worry about before He was flesh? No way. "All things are by Him and for Him, and to Him. [Rom 11:36] All things are made by Him. But when He gets in the flesh He's got to start looking somewhere. (27) Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. (28) Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance. You know the rest we won't have to read It, because we're talking about the word 'hope'. 13. [Acts] 23:6 (6) But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, (and) the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question. (Hope, resurrection) Let's go further: Romans 8:20-24 (20) For the (creation) was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, (21) Because the (creation) itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the liberty of the (glory of the) children of God. (22) For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. (23) And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, the redemption of (the) body. (24) For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? (25) But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. So, there's something waiting when you're talking about hope. 1 Corinthians 15, we're talking about the Resurrection also. Because remember, all nature will be restored when we get our glorified bodies but not before. 14. 1 Corinthians 15:19. (19) If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. So therefore, the hope has to do with the Resurrection, or it is not a hope at all. Ephesians 1:12 [says chapter 2 in error] (12) That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first (hoped) in Christ. (It is not 'trusted', it is the word 'hope'.) You say, "Why would you say that? Because the next verses tell you that you're looking to the Resurrection. Verses 13, 14, 19 and 21. (19) And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, (20) Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, (and so on.) 15. Now, putting together our knowledge of His calling. Let's read It again the calling. Ephesians 1:3-11] (3) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in (heaven-lies) in Christ. (4) According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him… in love: (5) Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ (now the adoption goes into the Resurrection) according to the good pleasure of his will, (6) To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. (We came out of Him, we got out of sin, we go back to Him.) (7) In whom we have redemption through his blood, (that's how you get back) the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; (That shows the free moral choice.) (8) Wherein he hath abounded toward us (overflowed toward us) in all wisdom and prudence; (9) Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in himself: (10) That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: (11) In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That lets you know that predestination is based upon something, a purpose, and that purpose has to do with the mind and will of Almighty God. So, you've got a calling there. (See?) And you've got a hope of that calling. And the hope of the calling is if there's no resurrection, your call is phony. 16. Now, I don't know of you people have been around Pentecost, thank God not all of you. But enough of you know that when latter-rain hit, they even did with the Resurrection. (Right, you know, Norm?) I said, "Hogwash." And yet my fertile brain, fertile in the wrong direction was taking a peek at their hogwash. I want to tell you about a resurrection and everything falls apart. Christ died in vain. Forget it! Hope of His calling. Now, putting the two together, "His calling," (I read It to you) "and the hope of it." Now, what's the hope if it? In verses 12-14. (12) That (you) should be to the praise of his glory, who first (hoped) in Christ. (You see, you hoped in Him.) Now, let's get to the hope: (13) In whom also (you hoped, because that's the context, not) trusted, after that (you) heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: (which it is) in whom also after that (you) believed (that, you) were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, (14) Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. Now, what's the "praise of His glory?" It tells you up here "the praise of His glory" is the pleasure of His goodwill which He purposed and desired, and is bring to pass through His Own channels that would be gathered together in Christ. Both which is in heaven, and both which is on earth, and it's going to be in a resurrection. And who's going to be in that resurrection? Those who are born again. Ephesians 1:13-14. 17. All right. From this putting our knowledge together, we can see then the Omega of the Alpha of John 11:21-26. Now, I hope I'm not losing you here. I'll kind of recap so you'll get just what I'm saying. This is the Alpha. John 11:21-26. (21) Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. She said, "I sure wish that you'd have stuck around." The she said, (listen to her faith:) (22) But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it (to you.) Now, she was going to impose upon Him hopefully that He would listen to her, because she knew that God sure listen to Him. Now, this woman had enough faith to raise the Titanic. Let's just face it, even now. (23) Jesus (said,) Thy brother shall rise again. "Well, (she said) you ain't telling me nothing new. I know he's going to rise in the resurrection the last day, I was talking about today." "Well, (He said,) so was I honey, you've missed the point." Even though He said you addressed me correctly. You're right in what you said. You weren't getting the full impact." You hear what I said? Keep that in mind as the study goes in progress. (25) …I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, (like Lazarus) yet he shall live: (26) And whosoever liveth and believeth in me (at a certain period) shall never die. Because I'm right here, (He said, to keep from dying. Do you believe) this? (27) She (said,) Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world. (Oh, isn't that a beautiful answer?) She could have said, 'Yes Lord, I believe You got all this power, and I believe that You're all of this, and I believe that You're all of that. And I believe all of this'…" Aw, SHUT UP! Don't you see I'm preaching from Ephesians 1. He's Here!! Do you recognize Him as here? You're here God! It's going to happen, because You're here. (You follow what I'm saying? Are you really following, or are you just picking your noses?) Hey kid, you like this, but I'm a gutter preacher. 18. Here is where we went off the Message of Bro. Branham. Preachers preaching right today that nobody got the Holy Ghost. One fellow got a revelation two o'clock back there, 'Christ the Mystery of God Revealed', he said, Bro. Branham didn't have the Holy Ghost that hour." He's a liar. I discussed this with Bro. Branham. Read the last chapter of the book, the Church Ages. Bro. Branham said, "The spirit of Wisdom will come into the Church, to let the Church know the hour in which she's living to bring It in, to reveal the mighty secrets of God." Don't tell me that Luther didn't have the Holy Ghost. You're antichrist! Get to this altar at the end of the service and repent. Who told anybody living they can be in the Bride of Jesus Christ without the genuine baptism with the Holy Ghost? That's not God begetting children that came here today. It's God Who begot children standing amongst us. The Father is here. (See?) "Do you believe I'm here?" He said. Bro. Branham said, "The gates of hell were against the revelation, Thou art the Christ the Son of the Living God." The gates of hell are against the revelation that He is here now!! "And He's the same yesterday, today and forever." Do you believe that I'm here to raise the dead? "Well, (phfft!) I don't know." What it is, you're going to come back and be up there somewhere. Don't make me mad. I don't mean you. God have pity on men. Say they believe this Message, preach the hogwash they preach, because they want to titillate somebody's ear, and have something different. The prophet in 1958 said, "He's been here for several years already." But He only came fully in His Church in 1965, when one foot on land, and one on sea, when the Seals were opened. 19. He said, "…you believe?" "Well, (she said) Lord I know there's a resurrection down the road." "I'm here, it's in Me, the Millennium, Eternal Life, Resurrection, healing, you name it, It's in Me and I stand here." The same yesterday, today and forever. Didn't want it, turned It down flat. Not Martha. I got to write a song about her: "Hallelujah for the Martha's, let them ring the golden bells. Let them talk about Jesus, and tell the story well." They're the ones that know Him, not these fancy thinkers out there that got a lot of funny PhD's and LLD's and God knows what. He said, "Do you believe (he said) if I'm standing here it's the hour that you'll never die?" The answer was, "Thou art the Christ." It's all it needs. He's here. I know people try to dress themselves up. The same people who tried to dress themselves up don't even go to church very regularly. [makes a noise] Preach it Bro. Vayle. Might as well hoe oats, bless God, or corn, or whatever we're hoeing this morning. (Yeah) Go to sleep, it's okay by me. 20. Prophet done told me years ago no one will take my gift anyway, so it's okay be me, but you will. There's people here that need a rise, or go with me up, or they'll go down with me, one of the two, because you believe. You believe He's here this morning? Let me tell you flat, He is. I don't care about your …?... I've seen Him. I've heard myself say to Meda, "You weren't looking at the man, you were looking at God." You say, "Bro. Vayle, because you said it, it makes it right?" No sir, it scared the pants off of me. Scared the shirt off at the same time. Don't worry, I stood there naked in my own words. But I've seen Him. Not like a prophet sees Him, you've seen Him too. "Yea, Lord, I believe that Thou the Christ." I believe You're "the same yesterday, and today and forever." 21. Today we stand in the Omega of the Alpha, for He is here to raise the dead. 1 Corinthians 15: (22) For as in Adam all die, even so in… (identical manner.) In identical manner: "God I don't want to die, Adam did it!" Same cry goes back: "God, I want to live!" Jesus did it for you. You can't help the fact you were sinner and died! Neither can you help the fact that you're born again and you're living! "Well, I'm going to be a lovely Christian Bro. Vayle. I'm going to have fruit." Well, I hope it's grapefruit. It's kind of a hybrid. Or if it's peaches, I'll come and help you eat it. "I'm going to have character." You better have. That's not going to do it. Got a great healing ministry doesn't prove a thing. (23) But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his (Presence). If He doesn't become Present, there's no dead going to rise. "Well, Bro. Vayle, what it is, He's going to be up there in the air, the Parousia, Rapture deal." There's some whirligigs on the roof out there, are they here with us? 22. Tell you what you do, throw your wallet on the ceiling up there…the building, the roof, is it in your pocket? "Well, Bro. Vayle really it's in my pocket, because I got a very mystical conception." You've had a misconception, you're a spiritual abortion. Don't preach hogwash around here, the chips are down brother/sister. He's either here, or He's not here. "The prophet lied, (he said) He's here." He said, "I tell you what your eyes don't see and I see by vision I tell you. I'm not riding the midnight trail screaming 'He's coming', he's already done come! So, when you see God descend from the heavens stand before groups of men as ever He did." And he said, "This Bible opened before me." He said, God, Jesus Holy Spirit comes down sets Himself at the Head of the Church in order to resurrect the Church being His Own Body." Well, did He come down, or didn't He come down? Is He here, or isn't He here? 23. Now, you remember what I am saying, because I'm going to hit this in a certain word in the Greek before we're finished. And you might as well get ready to know this one thing. You're going to sit awhile. If you want to go home, goodbye. Not going to bother me. I love you, God knows that. I'm not your judge. Lazarus on the fourth day rose, this is the fourth day of the Fourth Seal, of the Fourth Beast that guards the Gospels of Revelation 10:7, because that's the eagle. It's the last day, it's the day of the Resurrection. It is Laodicea that reaps in spiritual death in the grave clothes of idolatry. It is the hour of the Voice to raise the dead. (That's what I was saying last Sunday.) "That you my know the hope of His calling." [Eph 1:18] That you may come within the sphere of the Resurrection in all things ultimate; to know that the living Bride will actually be a part of the hour of the historical and Scriptural fulfillment of seeing God manifest His Resurrection powers. To fulfill His purpose in human glorified flesh. 24. Bro. Branham said the ministry of God had three things: Revelation, pre-eminence, back to Eden. A people must be living to fulfill 1 Thessalonians 4:13. This is Bro. Branham's sermon on the Rapture. (13) But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that (you) sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. He's talking to the living about the dead who are going to come this earth as the same time living members in Christ are going to be there. (14) For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again,… (That's all you've got to do is believe that He died and rose again) even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring (or lead forth) with him. In other words, everybody in Christ is going to come forth, there's no way you're going to stop It, if there's anything to your faith. Now: (15) For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain… We're standing here living, shall not have a pre-eminence, nothing important. What makes a man important? Well, we could start with a woman, and we'll go haywire right off the bat. And I'll tell you why, because what's important to a woman is what important to man. You know, shaped like the hour glass. Has she got beautiful profile, and lovely teeth? Is she a sex queen? That's it. Well, how would that give her pre-eminence? She ain't really nobody, because she's got looks she was born with. 25. What really gives a person pre-eminence? God, he's amounted to something! He's producing! He's different! And I've got news for you, this living Bride ain't one bit that way. She ain't prettier, she's not prettier, she's not better, she hasn't done one thing. The fact that God is in her midst doesn't make her one tinsy-bitsy-winsy… [end of side one] ...gorgeous ring. "See my ring, see?" She doesn't have to tell you she's engaged, she does like this here… [Bro. Vayle demonstrates] (Oh, wrong hand, I beg your pardon) [laughter] You can tell I'm not much for the engagement stuff from my own side. Sure balled that up. What's that got to do with it? "Oh, these gifted men." What's that got to do with it? (See?) No pre-eminence, no eminence, God there, pre-eminent God. How can a Bride have any pre-eminence, because she's living here with God here. If He's to get the pre-eminence before we get back to Eden, I've been decrying and preaching here and showing you, this Bride will never get to a resurrection until she makes Him pre-eminent! Quit this horsing around. 26. "I was with the prophet." Like one fellow told me, "Oh, (he said) you know Bro. Vayle, (he said) that prophet and I used to sit together and he'd tell me about people down the future, and what was going to happen. And I'd just sit back and smile and see it happen." I thought, "you liar you." How come he gave me questions to ask the prophet, if he sat with the prophet that much? And I can just see William Branham telling about people down in the future. (phftt!) Hogwash! What are you trying to tell me, a man loaded with the Word of God so full of destiny he couldn't even get out what was in him? Under pressure of the hour? Got time for some chit-chat? Let me tell you flat, I wrote his books, and even then he didn't have hardly time for me. Going to sit around, chit-chat. All I just wanted to explode that rotten egg. …?... The hour of the Voice of the Resurrection. The hour of 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, what all ages have looked for and longed for. This people will be there and see, and know It all. That's a recap of last Sunday. So, if you thought you're finished, just get set in for the storm. 27. Now, then at this time this morning I'm going to go over this for you again to present the same truth in a fuller way if possible to see this last hour that is ours to behold. This is the teaching method of repeat and enlarge, or build on what we already know so that we'll know it in such a way we will not forget it. We go then to phrase: 'you may know'. Know, k-n-o-w comes from the Greek word 'o-vi-da'(?) root word ('a-o-don'(?) which means 'to see'. Signifying to have preserved hence. To know, or have knowledge of, where there absolutely as in Divine knowledge, or human knowledge to know from observation. Now, when they speak of absolute Divine knowledge, it means there's something God's said with the authority of God that nobody could know outside of God, and He'd tell you and that's the way you've got Him. So you accept it. Now, that's over here…let's just take a few of those for fun. I'm going to miss a bunch, but I will not read Matthew 6:8 and 32, but It's on the tape, you can get it. 28. I will go to John 6:6, and 64. All right: (6) (For) this he said to prove (them): for he himself knew what he would do. Now, that's Divine knowledge. He knew what He would do. That's that Word. You see? Now, also in verse 64, It says: (64) (For) there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, who should betray him. Now, this wasn't be observation. This was the knowledge that God had in Jesus Christ. [John] 8:14. (14) Jesus answered and said…, Though I bear record of myself, my record is true: for I know whence I came,… (He knew It, see?) Now, human knowledge (the same word) can be gained not by revelation, but by observation. You're able to tell certain things. 29. Okay, we go to 1 Thessalonians, now you understand what I'm saying here, because this is important. Don't try to memorize It too much, just kind of roll with the punches until we get going a little more. First Thessalonians 1:4-5. (4) Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God. Now, they did not know that by a Divine revelation, per se, they got it from the apostle Paul, and he simply passed it on to them. They learned about It. I'll tell you how: (5) For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as (you) know what manner of men we were among you for your sake. Now, Paul said right there, you've observed me. That’s the way it was with Bro. Branham. We observed Him. Anyway, he said, "Hey, that's fellow's different." I remember years back when I first saw him, I was a backslidden condition, I admit it. And I said to myself, "Boy, if any man ever listen to another man, that's the guy to listen to." Something struck me from observation. When I saw the miracles, it struck me from observation. There was a perception there. There wasn't any Divine intuition, or any special revelation. What It was, I could see something there. 30. First Thessalonians 2:1. (1) For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain: "Why, (he said) when I came I got some fruit. I just didn't come in and preach the Gospel and nobody came." He said, "You know jolly well, observation." Verse 2. (2) …even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as (you) know,… They knew that he had been knocked around and banged up on occasions. 31. Second Thessalonians 3:7. (7) For yourselves know how (you) ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you; Now, you see, something was going on. It wasn't that they were a part of it in a integrated sense, but they could see something. (Are you listening what I'm saying?) Now, get this tape and go over it, until you begin to understand what I'm trying to tell you. Now, just to help you, you don’t have to worry too much about the basic definition, but to get this next thought; this Word does not imply anything beyond the fact, that the object has simply come within the scope of the knower's perception. That's all this Word means. I'm aware of it. It's in the scope of my perfection. Maybe I don't see everything. Maybe I don't understand everything. Maybe there's even room for perplexity. But I'm looking at something. All right, that's 'know'. (See?) 32. Now, the object of knowing, I know something, something is the subject. The object is: 'the hope of His calling'. Now, listen carefully, I'm going to try to help you all I can, because this… I'm going to kind of go back and forth now: the subject is the same 'you' in verse 17. Now, let's go back and look at It. [Ephesians 1:] (15) Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus,… And that's the same One He spoke to in verse 13, "in whom (you) also (hoped.") See? Then he says here: (15) Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, (16) Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; (17) That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you… (It's the same 'you'. In verse 18) Now, the subject is the same 'you' in verse 17, (17) ….(wherein) the knowledge of him: Now, this word is different from the other word 'know' or 'knowledge'. (You listening?) Now, listen carefully, because here is where you're going to get help this morning, or you're going to lose it. The subject is the same 'you' as in verse 17, "wherein the knowledge of him," hath a powerful influence on the subject, and there is a great participation by the knower with the object. This is different, 17 has an impact of power. You're not just standing back. (See?) It's not like the bashful swain that would love to dance with the girl, and leaves her as a wall-flower. Boy, he's over there like a bolt of lightning and they're on the floor whirling. Now, that may sound like a horrible example that comes to my mind. I just use it, because I'm a gutter preacher. (You understand what I'm saying?) The other, you can stand there you look at it, it looks at you. Now you recognize it, but it stands there. This is where you get together. (You follow me?) 33. All right, you can see we are talking about and comparing two different knowledge's. This knowledge of Him in verse 17, (now listen) perfectly unites the subject with the object, or the ones of Ephesians 1:13-14. Those that are born again, with the Spirit that comes into the Church in verse 17. (Did you hear what I said?) I said, a perfect union with the Spirit amongst them in verse 17, as It says in 1 Corinthians 13:12. (12) For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am also known. There is a perfect union with that which is perfect when It comes. A perfect union, Not the baptism with the Holy Ghost, that's Ephesians 1:13 and 14. This is the Spirit of God that comes into the Church. That's where they got all messed up, and their thinking these preachers that said, "Well, nobody had the Holy Ghost, not even Bro. Branham." Are you crazy? What do you make him, some kind of antichrist? God had to be in the prophet to make that man speak that way. He said the Pillar of Fire was in him. Then what was in him? If It wasn't God it was the devil. …?... where to put your stupid doctrines that go around the world. Puffed up ignorance. How are you going to make God pre-eminent when you make the devil pre-eminent? Get with it. "When that which is perfect is come." [1 Cor 13:10a] We won't know in part anymore. Why? Because the whole Man is here. He is here Himself. Was a terrible impact upon the person. 34. Now listen: this is the literal Greek perfectly unites the subject with the object, or the born again standing believer's here with the Christ in the midst to raise the dead. Bringing to pass 1 Corinthians 13:12, uniting time, perfection. First Corinthians 1:7-8. (7) So that (you) come behind in no gift; waiting for the (Presence) of (the) Lord… (8) Who (at that time) shall confirm you (establish you) unto the (very) end, (never happened previously. No way, this is different) that (you) may be blameless… Nobody can even lay a charge against you. "That's My wife! You deal with her, you'll deal with Me." What do you think that vision of Bro. Branham was when that man kept knocking that woman down. He said, "You'll deal with me," he said. And he said, "I've got faith muscles and put that fellow to route." (See?) 35. All right, can't lay a charge. No way possible. It is marriage time, it is oneness time, becoming one, becoming one with the revelation so you can't separate the revelation from the one to whom It is revealed. (See?) I hope you're getting some what I'm saying on this message here, because it's the only way you're going to understand what Bro. Branham said. "That you've got to be a part of that revelation." And when you're born again, you will be a part of that revelation. And that's why the Rapture is a revelation. (See?) It's uniting time. Now, I'm taking the Greek and breaking it down, and showing you by word by word, it was precept upon precept, then it was line by line. This morning it's Word by Word, here a little, there a little. Do you understand? (See?) Can't separate them. Knowledge or knowing in [Ephesians 1] verse 17 is never abstract. But It is directed toward a personal object. You can't miss It. Do you think any of the Elect will miss this Message? Don't be ridiculous. Do you think God's a bum-shot? The bullet went off of course two thousand years ago. The expert marksman has brought It back on course. No way. 36. Now, I'm going to tell you something: I've been sort of kidding you people along, but not kidding you, because I am going to revert, (if God lets me) on faith sermons here. But I'm going to tell you something: They'll never touch this. I can build your faith if God lets me, till cripples will walk in that aisle. I hope not, I don't even want it, I care less. I've done it years ago. But I'm preaching a far greater faith today, then a mere cripple getting out of a wheel chair. Or somebody getting something from God. Because what I'm telling you is the truth. And if you're Bride all you are doing is listening to the truth. You could do nothing for the truth, or against the truth, because the truth is prevailing. Because the object has the influence on the knower. I don’t have an influence on the object. "Dear Lord God change Your plan. Our holy beloved church has decided that Mary has ascended." Hogwash, she is not ascended. She has descended and she's in the sixth dimension [correction] and she will stay there awhile until God wants to get her out of it. But she is not ascended physically. That's why Bro. Branham said, "Don't try to twist God's arm, (he said) when you go to Him (he said) you go there for one reason to be persuaded of God, not to persuade God." 37. All right, I want to go further. Now listen, this word 'knowledge' in verse 17 is 'epiginosko'. [Strongs 1922] It's a powerful word 'beyond knowledge'. Now listen: which denotes to 'observe' (…?...) fully preserve, (that's tougher) notice attentively, (don't take away it's 'I's', [eyes] recognize (ha ha,) I understand who it is) discern judgment separates, always,) right from wrong) suggests generally a directive, a more special a recognition of the object known, then does the root word 'ginosko' which simply means 'to know'. Now, surely what we are talking about is 2 Corinthians 3:15, which we always talk about. (5) But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart(s). (16) Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. Now, this the hour when God is turning the hearts of children back to the fathers, through the Elijah ministry of Malachi 4:5-6. Something just hit me. I finally know why it is that one preacher that I know always refers to Malachi 4:5-6 is a ministry instead of Elijah. Because he ain't got the guts to call himself Elijah, because William Branham was, and he thinks he's got Malachi 4:5-6. Be surprise what comes in this pulpit. That lit a good match…I understand things. 38. Now listen, (17) …the Lord is that Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is… You see, God rebuked me on that Malachi 4:5-6 stuff, put It where It belongs, Elijah. See, I could kid you about me being Malachi 4:5-6, or part of It. I teach It. I haven't a thing to do with It. [Bro. Vayle chuckles] I don't even want a thing to do with It. That is, for trying to get It, you know. Let's face it. How could you and not take pre-eminence from Him Who brought It. Because Elijah of this hour is the Lord Jesus Christ Himself? (See?) [Bro. Vayle corrects himself below] (17) Now the Lord is that Spirit: where the Spirit of the Lord is, (there's) liberty. Now, what are you doing? Looking in the Word, and we're beholding the Spirit clothed in the Word: (18) But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. Now, the object is 'the spirit'. The influence is to change us. Now, "when the enemy comes in like a flood, God raises a standard." [Isa 59:19] You tell me today that there's anybody can stop this resurrection that's coming on? No way. No way. You're dealing with sovereign God. 39. Now listen: I'm going to draw an inference. Yet more than inference. So listen: 'ginosko' means is, 'to know', (now watch) is to know, is the word 'to know', used in Matthew 1:25, and Joseph knew her not till she brought her first born son. Ginosko, or know, is the verb used to convey the thought of connection, or union as between man and woman. That goes back to rebirth as far as I'm concerned. Translate this into the union of the hour and the espousal is now become consummated marriage. It is not simply, I am born again, but I am Bride, I am white. It is once again we see the restoration of the Bride of Hosea 2:16-23, [this has to be chapter 2, as it's the only one that has 23 verses.] and her position is now white. She is pregnant with the Word of God to bring forth the Son in human flesh. Which means, to bring Him back. 40. Could it now be we are in Galatians 4:27-31, (27) For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband. (Bride's very tiny) (28) (But) we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. (29) But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. (30) Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman. (31) So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free. 41. Matthew 25:11, I'm illustrating, but I'm a whole more than illustrating, I'm right. (11) Afterward (many foolish) virgins, (came) saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. [corrected this line] (12) (And he said, I used to know you as my wife, but I don't know you as my wife anymore.) (13) Watch (it) therefore, (and you better look for) the Son of man (coming.) And that Son of man is preceded by the Son of man revelation. And it's at that time you behold Him. And it's at that time the influence of the progenitor is upon that which He has brought forth which is His daughter! His spouse, pregnant by Him, so her mind is completely sealed in, and nobody can get to her. That's why there'll never be an organization. 42. All right, I've been showing you that know, and the knowledge possessed in verse 18 by the subject does not go to the intensity of effect of the knowledge in verse 18, because they're two different kinds for two special different reasons. Thus, the personal relationship of the hope of His calling does not deal with the depth of the personal impact found in verse 17. But nevertheless is one that is recognized and admitted, and even its eventual impact is just as great, and could end up even greater in a certain sense of the word when you apply it to the flesh; is more simply stated as within the sphere of perception of the believer. So, I would say that observation more than the dynamism of participation is the idea. In other words, this is something that you will see. It is not that the participation is not anticipated in an effect. But I would believe that this verse is telling us that we know that whatever is there is in entirely in the administrative hands of God. It is something he is engaged in that we know about, but from there on it is simply accepted without further evidence, or some great manifestation, or some great feeling, or some great impact. Yet, it will be done. And it is even now being done. 43 Could it be as stated experientially in Ephesians 3:19, we'll go to that one first: (19) And to know the love of (God) which (passes) knowledge… Well, if you know about that passes knowledge, it lets you know it's there. I know it's there, I've seen it there, but don't ask me to explain it. I've often said there's two things that I don't understand, the love of God, the love of my wife. Either they sure got something there, or something wrong with both of them. I can tell you that flat. I've seen good wives, they're all the same way. How they can go to bat for these no good bums that are supposed to be good bums, overlook this, and overlook that. Men never overlook what women overlook. I don't understand it. I've always said and I'll say it again. But as I said, "I prayed and she didn't, it's her tough luck." (No, she prayed alright, she prayed to get rid of me, but God is on my side that is.) 44. Philippians 4:7. [omit comment] (7) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,.. It's there, but you can't understand it. I can tell you this much about it, God called me to preach years ago. And I wrote a little note, my mother gave me a wristwatch for my twenty first birthday. It was very nice of her, because she couldn't afford it. (I think I still got it somewhere.) And I took the wristwatch box and I wrote a little note to God and I said, "Now, Lord, no way I'm going to be a preacher, so don't bother calling me. Now, I don't mind being an elder…" And I knew that you had to pay tithes, I said, "I'll get a good job Lord, you help me and I'll pay tithe, but don't call me to preach." I signed my name. But unfortunately I couldn't get Him to sign His name. [laughter] So, the pressure was on, the pressure was on, the pressure was on. Finally He brought me to a place where I knew I had to go preaching. Oh listen, you talk about…oh brother…I wasn't exactly mad at God, but I sure wasn't happy with Him. I was so brought up that…whew, man the top of my head was coming off. The bottom of my boots were falling out. Finally, I said, "Okay, Lord, I'll go." 45. Now, what I'm trying to tell you this: the peace of God flooded my heart. I don't understand it. I don’t even pretend to understand it. You'll never know what I'm talking about unless you've been through it. (See?) John 13:7. This is a good one: (7) Jesus (said,) What I do (you don't know) now; but (you're going to know) hereafter. Peter did not perceive its significance of what Jesus was doing. But he would get to know it later on. Now, what I'm trying to show you here is this what lies in that Word? It's going on. You've seen the evidence, but that's all you can do about it. You've got to stand back as a spectator though it affects you. It's something that doesn't affect you as of the moment. But it's there for a purpose, and you're a part of it. Because you're a part of the first, you see. 46. All right, let me show you more: we go to Acts 3:19b. [omit comments] (19) …when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. That word 'presence' means anything visible to the eye. What part of God is visible to the eye? If by nature? "If I had not done the works that other man did, they had sinned, but now they have both seen and hated both me and my Father." [Jn 15:24] They saw the works, they saw God. I saw God when I saw those works. When I saw that microphone cord wrapped around Bro. Branham two times. And I stood back with,…my God, you talk about a dead man, way up here, so I pulled it and it fell around his ankles. Oh merciful God, one move and he falls like a ten pin. You know how fulcrum's work, you just get a guys ankles here and give him a little push. He's gone. That's why boxers keep their feet apart a certain way, and wrestlers the same way. Oh, if a boxer stood here like this, or a wrestler. Fap! Forget it! So, it fell right around his ankles. As I looked I didn't blink an eyelash…suddenly, he was no longer wrapped in the cord. I saw God. You say what you want. Say, "Bro. Vayle, I want to see creation." I saw greater than creation. I saw God un-create then re-create. I didn't see Him, I saw…it happened too fast. I know what I'm talking about, I'm not crazy. People think so, that's their business, they'll find out later on. 47. All right, "Even He shall send Jesus Christ which was appointed unto you. Whom the heavens must retain until the restoration of all things," and so on. [Acts 3:20-21] Now listen, this was in the works with Bro. Branham here, this was going on. We stood back and we participated insofar that we saw it, then he explained it. "Well, (you say) I understand that." This is the ministry that precedes the Capstone coming down. The ministry so perfect that it allows the Capstone, that's not Christ in human flesh, that's the Holy Ghost, and He came down on It. See, we saw it. Is it not the same as John 14:9? (9) Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; how (do you say) then, (Show) us the Father? Stood back, and the comprehension that that was the Father, and the influence there to make him see it was the Father was lacking, but he saw something. And Jesus said, "Listen, (He said) don't you know that you're looking at something?" (See?) Something that in Itself can be tremendous, but it's forced, is not coming back hidden against you, as in other cases. Now, again as I said in other sermons, I'm not trying to be a PhD or Philadelphia lawyer to make a case out of Scripture by twisting and weaving it around. I'm teaching what I believe to be the Message the prophet brought teaching It from the Word of God, Word by Word. So, okay, the hope of His calling. First, if it's His calling, it's His hope. Just like our faith without His faith is void. 48. Let's go to Philippians 3:9 (9) And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: Without the faith of Christ we could not have faith in Christ. In other words, Christ had a perfect faith in that Word that He would see His Seed. He would prolong His days. The pleasure of God would prosper, that was the faith. Now, my faith because of His faith. That's what I'm talking about, His hope. It is His hope, even though it is our hope. 49. Now, last Sunday we saw what hope was in the root meaning. Hope is the happy [leave out comment] anticipation of good, and contains no element whatsoever of uncertainly. It is a well grounded expectation of good, a firmly held prospect of future good. Earnest expectation of good. To me there is no Scripture that fits, this is the Psalms 16:8-11, Isaiah 52:10-12, Psalms 110:1-5, Acts 2:22-36, 1 Corinthians 15:20-27. So we read: Psalms 16:8-11 (8) I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. (Now that's hope) (9) Therefore my heart is glad, (that's hope) and my glory rejoiceth: (that's hope) my flesh also shall rest in hope. Why he said, "It's not just a spiritual mental thing." He said, "Hallelujah, my own body reverberates to it." (10) For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. (11) Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is (full) of (the) joy; (and on) thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. (Now, that's his hope.) 50. It is also, Isaiah 53:10-12. (10) Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD (that's chapter 1 of the Book of Ephesians) shall prosper (come to past) in his hand. (11) He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge (now, notice: by His knowledge) shall my righteous servant justify many; You notice brother/sister we stood there, we're standing here looking at He did. Right, now standing there, that's that second know of verse 18, but in 17 the whole impact comes towards us. You see? Now, we have nothing to do with Him suffering, dying upon Calvary, raising again and so on. We stand and look at it. But then an impact comes and hits us. I'm just showing you two or three words. Now, this is hope of course. (11) …by (my) knowledge (and) righteous (he) shall justify many; he shall bear their iniquities…(and so on.) 51. It is without a doubt Psalms 110:1-5. (Now this is my thinking) (1) The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. (2) The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. Is that the Millennium? [End of side two - added verses 3,4,5 as they may have been missed on the change over] (3) Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. (4) The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. (5) The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. 52. Acts 2:22-36 [side one of tape two begins below] (22) Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as (you) yourselves also know: (23) Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, (you) have taken, and (been the instruments, your) wicked hands have crucified and slain (him): (24) Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. No wonder his flesh didn't any trouble, he didn't have any trouble. Why he said, "Let them kill me, ain't nothing going to happen anyway, I'm just going to get up. I got …?... lay my life down and take it again. (25) For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, I should not be moved: (26) Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: (27) Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. (28) Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance. (29) Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, his sepulchre is with us unto this day. (30) Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; (31) He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. (32) This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. (33) Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which (you) now see and hear. (34) For (it was not) David (himself that) ascended into the heavens: but (David) saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, (35) Until I make thy foes thy footstool. (36) Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom (you) have crucified, both Lord and Christ. 53. It is 1 Corinthians 15:20-27. (20) But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. (Now, I'm going to read a few verses and I'll just taper off, on not all of them.) (22) For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. (23) But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his (Presence). You see, Christ is the first fruits. That bunch has come up and gone. The next ones are now at His Present. The Parousia, right here today. (24) Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. (25) For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. Now, let's get that flat. That is not Jesus doing the ruling and the reigning, It is God doing it for Him. Because that's what the Psalm said. The enemy are to be put under His feet by God, because that is the reward of Jesus for what He did. (26) The last enemy…destroyed is death. Even at the Resurrection, and death has not destroyed, it's merely put to one side. (27) For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is (left out,) which did put all things under him. (There you are.) 54. Who put all things under Him? God! And He's left out. God is never under Jesus. God's like Pharaoh and Joseph on the throne. Joseph sat on, he said, "Only on the throne am I greater." But you notice this time Jesus according to Bro. Branham (page 25) 'Souls now in Prison', said that Jesus opened the Seals and climbed on the Throne. Then what did God do, He came down. Now, that's where they're all mixed up on the Holy Ghost. All mixed up around the country, Bobby Lambert started that whole thing way back as Bro. Branham died. He said, "Nobody's got the Holy Ghost," and a bunch of people fell for it. I said, Hogwash, I've got the Holy Ghost." (Sure.) (28) And when all things shall be subdued unto him, (that word is a wrong word, it's subject) then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. (29) Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all?… Why are we baptized? Because Jesus died upon Calvary. What if He didn't rise again, why are we baptized? Because you don't stay in the water, you come up. Baptism doesn't mean stay down, it means go down, come up. Just because it says, 'immerse', it doesn't mean 'stay there'. The picture of death and resurrection. 55. All right, [1 Corinthians 15:] (35) But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? …what body do they come? (36) Thou fool,… It said, "A body comes up according to the seed that's in it." And that's right. If you've got the seed of Christ you get His Body. If you don’t have the seed of Christ you get a special resurrection body which will take you to the White Throne. Then if you're one of those, they will come in under the judgment as a son of Adam, a remnant, foolish virgin, (as it were) you will get a body commensurate to it to bring your glory from the outside in. And if you're serpent seed, you'll get a body that goes and suffers. That's the Scripture. And if you're a horse, I don't know, you'll come back as a horse. Oh yes, God's going to restore. Sure, there'll be horses, there'll be cows, there'll be birds. Just how it all comes out, I don't… you say, "I don't believe it." Well, I got news for you, he's talking about the resurrection. (39) All flesh is not the same flesh: (there's) flesh of men, another flesh of beast, another of fishes, and another of birds. Then he talks about the resurrection further: (40) …celestial bodies, terrestrial bodies:…(and they all differ.) (41) (And) there is…sun…moon, and…stars:… (and they differ.) (44) (Just like you're) sown a natural body; (He) raised a spiritual body… (45) …first man Adam was a living soul; the last Adam was a quickening spirit. They brought two kinds of bodies. Through sex they brought a body that would die, and through death and the Holy Ghost He brings a body which never dies. 56. Now, he said, (50) (But) brethren (just a minute, I want to tell you something:) (51) (We're not all going to die. There's going to be some standing here that going to) be changed. Now, what am I dealing with? I'm dealing with the hope of His calling. I don't care what you say about a calling. You can't divorce hope from it. And you can't divorce resurrection from it. And there is no way that the purpose and plan of God would ever come into effect outside the First Resurrection that puts the Bride of the Old and New Testament into the Millennium as one great member and Bride body of the Lord Jesus Christ. 57. Now, let's think about that word 'calling'. Now, hope is the absolute assurance, if you're born again you've made the Resurrection. If you're born again as standing here it's proven that you're born again by the fact that you know He's standing here. Now, let's face it, you don't know it in a way that the prophet knew it. (uh uh) because this knowledge of that hope is something that's entirely in His hand. Now, I know that He's here. And I know by the fact that God showed me, I will never get It like the prophet, I get mine by the Word. And I just stand with that Word, and I'd advise you to do the same thing. 58. Now, this calling is not vocation. No way. Now, I know you can spiritualize it. You say, "What is your vocation?" "I'm and engineer." "Wonderful, you're an engineer." "Well, I am a mechanic." "Wonderful, you're a mechanic." "Well, I'm a farmer." "Great, you're a farmer, that's your vocation." That's very fine, temporary, nothing to it. When you use the word 'calling', it goes back to original back to God, back to the beginning, back to what's in God, because it's His calling, though it becomes our calling. That's Romans 11:29. Many gifts, one calling. Now, last Sunday, we read the whole chapter as I said, and the context we saw calling had to do with one thing only, and that's election. 59. Now, let's just go back here for a second, and we may see something. Okay, Romans 11:25-26. (25) For I would not, brethren, that (you) should be ignorant of this mystery, lest (you) should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. (26) And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: (27) For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. What is that? That's the 'Fifth Seal'. The Fifth Seal Israel by election, not one shall be missing. See, that's under your thunders. See, that's one of your great teachings. Right there, great mystery. Alright, and that is all about election. 60. Now, what about election? We go to Romans 9:11 to hear about election, and It says: (11) (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand… Purpose of God is election. No election, no purpose. Purpose washed out. 1 Peter 1:2 (2) Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood… Notice, they couldn't even approach the Gospel, or God unless they were foreknown. Then the Spirit began separating them. As the Spirit drew them the Blood took over cleansed them. They got into a place of sanctification baptized in water and received the Holy Ghost. But it was election that did it. If not the election, no way. 2 Timothy 2:19. Now listen: (19) Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. Election. "Before you were formed in the womb, I knew you." [Jer 1:5] Election, God in election. 61. Now, recall Romans 9:11, that the purpose of God stands in election. Then we go back to Ephesians 1:3-12 again, which we really don't need to read. But there would be no plan of God, not purpose of God, no initiative, no follow through, no consummation except election. Now, people can say what they want, but my brother, my sister, I'm sorry, this is where they're missing the boat. And this in one of the first places, the second place rather, nor the thir, I don't know which for sure. Bro. Branham lost out with one, because there's one God. He lost out because they're serpent seed. And he lost out because there's election. I would say those are the three major doctrine that destroyed the ability of the church to come in, because they couldn't perceive what was out there and follow it through to what is its impact, what is going on. (See?) Like today, we're trying to answer the question, what is going on at this moment? (See?) We're understanding it. 62. All right, called to a purpose. And the purpose is boiled down to Ephesians 1:10. (10) That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ,… Now, you had to be in Christ to get back into Christ. That's why the original universe is dissolved and the true original comes back. Because it was all in there in a mind-form, a Logos-form, actually not a Logos-form, It was there in the straight mind-form. Then it went into the Logos form. And it's got to go back to It. Everything that was there. (10) …both which are in heaven, and (both) which are on earth; even in him: Now, and It is also Hebrews 2:11-18, which we read to you about the Son all coming together with Christ as the central focal point where all are praising God in that's New Jerusalem. Mount Zion fifteen hundred miles wide, fifteen hundred miles high, the Lamb on the Throne and the Bride, all the members, and the Pillar of Fire, God veiled in a Pillar of Fire over the Throne, and they're all praising God. Now, you see that's what we're coming into. (See?) Now, fellow companion with Christ in that calling. 63. Now, notice the placing, (I should take more time on this, but I think you're getting what I'm talking about.) Psalms 8:1-9. [omit comment] (1) O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. (2) Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings…thou hast ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. (3) When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; (4) What is man, (you're) mindful of him? and the son of man, (you) visitest him? (5) For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and crowned him with glory and honour. (6) (You made) him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: (7) (Yea,) all sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; (8) The fowl of the air, and fish of the sea, whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. (9) O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! Now, notice His placing and we place with Him in the Millennium back to the original. 64. Now, (hold your fingers there in the Psalms) what I'm trying to do is to show you here that that great calling which puts us into the Resurrection, which put us into the full absolute plan of Almighty God, go to Ephesians 1:11. (11) In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: And he says right there, "What part I give you, I expect you to do. And what I leave in my hands you keep your nose out of." (See?) Now, there's just plain simple. and he said, "You've got an inheritance and everything is working to a purpose." 65. Now, that goes back to Psalms 16:5. (5) The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. Now, what we're looking at here as I'm trying to show you that the calling was within Almighty God. And that calling demanded absolutely an ultimate. And the ultimate could not come without a resurrection. So therefore, when Christ saw what lay there in the mind of God to be fulfilled in Him, He gladly became flesh and died upon the Cross knowing there was no way out till the failure He was going to make it, because of the Resurrection. That's where Abraham was. "In thy seed shall the earth be blessed." [Gen 22:18] All right, "now take your son and kill him." Okay, "I'll do it. You're going to raise him up, there's no problem." Earnest expectation, no fear, no way out. So, the hope of His calling today brother/sister tells us, that we're standing back and watching God moving. He's already proved it's God in the prophet's ministry. He's already proved Who is here doing it. He's already part of His revelation to us. He's shown we're a part of It, now He said, "Look, I just want you to observe." I want to tell you something, observing makes a change in you. Old Eve wouldn't have gotten messes up when she began observing. She said, "Hey, Mr. Beast, you're right." He said, "Beautiful to look at. Oh, we'll make you wise. Hey, that really would work." Ho, ho, ho, ho. And pretty soon he got to her. [correction] Adam got messed up with the same thing. Now, God is not going to mess us up. But He wants us to know something's going on. Now, I've been preaching for a long time, something's going on. And I've been trying to get it across. (See?) 66. Now, I want to wind down this message with these thoughts: [correction] You remember I'm sure how I keep taking you back to 1 Corinthians 15:22-28. And I'm going to take you right back again. [omit comments] But I want you to see this, tremendous portion of Scripture. All right: (22) For as in Adam all die, (in identical manner) in Christ shall all be made alive. In other words, we are a part of It, destined to It, but had nothing to do the inception and the finishing, so with this. (23) But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his (Parousia, His Presence). (24) Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God… (future perfect way down.) When? Oh, I would say at least one thousand years from now, if not one thousand and fifty, and one thousand five hundred, who knows? At the end of the Millennium the White Throne judgment comes in. That could take a thousand years, who know? It could take thousands, I don't know. God didn't tell me. So, who knows? This is way down to Mount Zion. (24) …even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. (25) For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet (of Jesus.) In other words, He's got to take over. Exercise His sovereign ability. Omnipotent backs up omnisciencent. (26) The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. (That's lake of fire.) (27) For he hath put all things under his feet. (That's a potential) But when he saith all things are put under him, (and) is manifest that he is (left out who did) put all things under him. (28) And when all things shall be subdued (wrong word, made 'subject') …then shall the Son also be (made) subject (or be subject) unto him that put all things under him… That word under the feet, 'footstool', 'subject', 'under', all one word. It's just the same word. It means 'subject' in the sense of a military. God's sovereign military. "Who are you? Are you with us, or the enemy? Nay, but I am the Captain of the host of Israel." [Josh 5:13-14] God Himself coming down leading them over. (See?) We've got the same thing today. God here leading us over. (28) …that God may be all in all. 67. Now, let me tell you something: As I've said to you in page 25 I think it is: 'Souls That Are Now in Prison'. Based upon Revelation 3:20. Now, we're going to go to It. Laodicean Church Age. (20) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (21) To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also (am) over(come,) and am set down with my Father in his throne. Now, Jesus was on the Mercy Seat behind the Throne, the Body raised up as a memorial to the Resurrection as Bro. Branham said. Until He came from behind the Throne and took the Book out of the hands of Him that was on the Throne, ripped out the Seals and climbed upon the Father's Throne. Where is He? Because He is Melchisedec, fulfillment in the flesh which is Priest and King. Which He could not be King till the moment He had a Throne. So therefore, being Priest He is still Mediator, and Intercessor. There is no problem. And He will remain there until it is time to bring the Jews in, because a 144,000 have got to be brought in. (See?) Then it's over, but not until that time. 68. Now then, He is on that Father's Throne now and He said, "As I am set down with My Father in His Throne so you will be able to do that very same thing." Now, what has happened? Well, in my understanding it is this: because heaven is a dimension and God by virtue of omnipotence and omniscience is literally everywhere. I cannot in conscience simply say that God abdicated, (though I could) and it's no big deal, because on or off the Throne He's still God, you can't change Him. No way. But remember, now the Holy Spirit, and remember the Names of the Holy Spirit is one. And remember, the Holy Spirit if you designate what Bro. Branham said, "Holy Spirit is what comes into you and me." Holy Ghost would be the term, another terminology of the same One identifying as a person. But Bro. Branham mentioned that God was just Holy Spirit comes down and sets Himself at the Head of the Church. 69. So, I see according to chapter 5 of the Book of Revelation and what Bro. Branham taught. That God as it were literally stepped off the Throne per se, as of God's there and Christ here, (Jesus here) and Jesus sits on that Throne, and the Mighty One comes down, the Angel of the Convent, which is God Himself comes down. One foot on land and sea, communicating with the prophet. And it is at that time with Jesus on the Throne that God begins a systematic rule to bring everything under Jesus. And the first thing to bring under Jesus is that unruly woman acting like a prostitute which is the Bride. That's the first thing He does. And I can prove that by 1 Corinthians 11: (3) …I would have you know, that...[correction] the head of the woman is man; the head of (man is Christ, and the head of) Christ is God. And the woman is typical of the church. And Paul put the Church in order through the Word, the ordinances. And the former-rain puts the Bride in subjection to the Head which is the Word, which is the Husband, which is the Mate. (You see?) 70. Now, when she comes in union with Him she is restored according to Hosea 2. Now, I didn't read It, but I'm going to read It now. [omit comments] (16) And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt call me (husband) and (no more call me Lord.) Now, that's a false title anyway that's given to god Baal. (17) For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name. In other words, what Balaam perpetrated, a false prophet. (18) And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field and (that's the Millennium) fowls of heaven, creeping things of the ground: (I'll) break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth,… (Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning- hooks into spears,) [corrected by scripture] and (I'll) make then to lie down safely. (19) And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies. (20) I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD. (Now, that's what Bro. Branham taught it.) (21) And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith the LORD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth; (22) And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel. (23) And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, (that's the Gentiles) Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God. In other words, this is strictly just before the Millennium. There is to be an absolute restoration of that Bride. And remember, it is when He comes down and does it. Now, that's what I'm looking at. 71. Now, here's what I'm saying: I don't care how many preachers preach the great things that are coming on the earth. I just got word this morning they had a great big shindig up here in Pennsylvania. And so in case you think you know who I'm talking about, you might well be, but I ain't going to name the place. But anyway, they had this big shindig there, and the preachers went up and they said, "Now, dynamics are here, the latter-rain is here, and it's up to you to use them." So, the whole church went on fire, they begin dancing with each other screaming and hollering. And I guess men were hugging women which is a might nice thing to do if you want to get caught up in sex and lust, whew! Don't think I'm kidding, I know what I'm talking about. They've already showed what they are. And a certain preacher walked out and two or three more with him. Now, I'm going to tell you something: Lee Vayle is preaching this morning, here's something you're looking at and recognize but you don't move toward it, because it doesn't move toward you but it's going to take you through. Now, you can't work the dynamics, you can pull anything in the books that you want. But my understanding the prophet said and I would to God I can find where he said it, not just think I've drawn some conclusion. I've asked a lot of people to help me to find it. But there some place where he said, "What's coming you can't do one thing about, because God Himself is going to do it." 72. Now, that's the Third Pull as far as I know. We're into that Third Pull right now that people misunderstood and said the Second Pull is over. But they said, "Bro. Branham got the Holy Ghost." Hogwash. What you're seeing right now is what God came down and started doing is taking His Own pervasive way. In His Own sovereignty He is working a work, "and He's the same yesterday, and today and forever." Sarah, you sitting here this morning you may laugh, but He's going to sober you up and He'll see that you get through. "He's the same yesterday, today and forever." You may be fussing around like Israel. You may be messing around when you shouldn't be messing around. Too many of us are with too many things. And old Balaam can come by and say, "We'll, I don't see any different in you folk." You say, "Well, we already knew it, because we ain't got no pre-eminence." "Well, (he said) you're baggage." She said, "I don't doubt that for one minute, but I wear His baggage." So, where His chariot goes we go with it. (See?) "He's the same yesterday, today and forever." See, God's moving I believe, and God's doing something in people. 73. Listen, I preached a sermon, 'On the Time of the Resurrection', I showed you why the people who don't believe this Message and many who say they do will never be in the First Resurrection, because they can't stand still for the coming out of the ground. You know that's the next thing left. We've had the Shout, now is the Voice. The same One that brought that Message is standing here said, "I Am the Resurrection and Life, and he that believeth in Me though he were dead, yet shall he live; and whosoever liveth and believeth in Me, shall never perish. Do you believe this? [Jn 11: 25-26] What's to live in Him? To partake of that Word. So, I hope that you understand something brother/sister here. We are in the day of 1 John 3:2, (2) Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it (has never) yet (come into manifestation, absolutely identified as to its true character) what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, (absolutely be manifested in His true character) we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. Now, It tells you right there, now that's not the Rapture, because you got to get changed to get up there. This is you seeing Him here now. (See?) This is beholding Him. "Behold the Bridegroom!" "Why, (they said) I don't think too much of Him, I believe there's three of them, but you got one." 'Well, (he said) there's just one I'm sorry." Well I can't, I'm a …(what is that polyander, where a woman has three husbands or something?) ...well I guess maybe I just better forget it, because He's not my kind." Well, alright you missed that one. "Well, I could never have any belief in a God that just said, "I'll take this and leave that." Well, you don't believe the Bible, because It said, "Two in a field, I'll take one, I'll leave one." That's not the Rapture, that's going on now. "Two grinding in the mill, one's taken." That's different, that's the Rapture, in the sense, "two sleeping in a bed, two working in a field." That's Rapture on the grounds He's showing you what…didn't know there's light on one part of the earth, there's dark on the other. (You see?) He said, "The Rapture take place in America some morning between six and nine." Three hours. (…?... say nine, but there's three hour difference. We're nine o'clock here, and six o'clock there.) Three hour difference. (See?) 76. Now, It says here, "We're looking, we're beholding." And He's Appeared in His true character. We have seen Him in His true character, therefore, we will be what He is. Now you see, He had a hope for that. (See?) Now, we're partakers, but we know the hope is going on. There we're going to enter into His calling. (See?) We've been called with that hope to enter in to what He is. (See?) Now, if I am part of His revelation and Appearing, and know by the participation and reality of it, the rest will follow just by knowing it is there, but the working of it is up to Him. Now, I hope you followed this message. I preached it as clear as I could. I took the length of time I thought was necessary. You can get the tapes. Remember these tapes do not leave the church in the sense that they will go to any pastor, or anybody else. If you have any thought in mind of getting it and passing it on, you'll be responsible before God, because you have to obey those in authority, and I am the authority in this pulpit. I don't want these sermons out. 77. Wednesday night is a different subject entirely. Now, if you come to me and say, "Bro. Vayle, can certain person have it?" I can say yes, on ground that person will faithfully promise that these messages don't go. Why? Because simply I'm not interested at this time and these messages going out. The Wednesday night's different. I preach the Parousia many places, although It has still not caught fire, except in those places where It has, It's done something for the people. But these messages this morning as you can understand I've said, I'm working on them. There's things that I see, they're not quite clear in some areas, they're clear in others. As I go over them they come clearer and clearer, and I just don't want them out at this time. So, that's find, the Lord bless you… [omit following comments] I trust you understand now a little more this morning what has happened in our hour. And remember this, it always is: 'God does it', He reveals His Word by bringing It into manifestation. Then when He does it, It must be explained as to what happen. That's where the prophetic Messages of William Branham lie. Then if there is a five-fold ministry, whatever ability lie within as to pertaining to gifts, then will break down as lies within the gift, the very words that the prophet said in order for the people to see It in its enlarged content. 78. Now, hopefully this morning you are seeing what He is doing. And you cannot enter into It in the way that you might enter into other things. You see, brother/sister, let's face it, the fact that He is here at the Head of the Church to perform a resurrection, there is no way that its influence can hit you until the moment you are to be changed, and the dead to come forth. But for one minute don't think that you won't be watching it and you're …?... See, that's why I said a while ago, I have got my eyes off what's going on out there. When will the pope come out of America? Who gives a hoot. What about this thing over some squeeze? I don't care two cents. I'm looking at what's going on here. And since I look at what's going on here something has happened. It couldn't happen looking at that. Why? Because that's not what I'm to look at. I can be aware of it, and once the awareness is there, forget it. But this is something different. So, I trust you're getting an understanding of what we've gone into. Next Sunday we'll start with 'In His Inheritance in the Saints. The Lord bless you. Shall we rise. Merciful God, again we thank You for Your love and kindness, You're goodness and mercy, Lord. And believe, Lord Jesus Christ, that somehow that we have been able to understand these things that they have been put together right. Knowing this one thing, Lord, that we have such confidence in You, and none in ourselves, that if You will speak to us that we should find something that is a little here, or even al lot out there, which is in error. That You will help us with Your Word to correct anything which has been said, which is erroneous. But, Lord, there's something we know absolutely there would be no way of any voice whatsoever ever speaking to us contrary to some of the things we know, because we believe we have already heard so definitively through the prophet and see if they're mighty in Scripture. Though we ourselves, would never know in the first place of ourselves. But we thank You, Lord, that You did send some ministry that would prove the validity of a revelation. And so, Father, we thank You that we are in the apokalupsis at this hour, that it has open to us, and everything the Bride needs to know to put her into that Rapture is absolutely here. And it's so good to know, Lord, that He Who said as Alpha, "I Am the Resurrection and the Life," and prove it there to one man. Which is fine, because You raise them one at a time until that first-fruits of Your Own experience. You're just waiting now, the same One Who was Omega to bring forth many out of the graves, and do that which we don't know was ever done before. I don't know, Lord, it could have been, I don't know. But You're going to take many people in and change them while they're still living. Could be that You took one or two, one at a time and did something. I don't know, Lord. I don't know. I don't understand what happened to Elijah, this that or the other thing. I'll wait to find out if I should ever find out. But I know, Lord, there's never been a time, and this is that hour for It, where there is going to be a little handful of people. Changed in the twinkling of an eye. During this last Trump Message, when immortality, when mortality puts on immortality, and corruptibility puts on incorruptibility. And, Lord, this morning by grace we stand here tasting of this very Scripture that brings about the very thing we're talking about. And now, Father, we thank You for it. And unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be all power and honor and glory through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. You love Him this morning? Feels good to know the Lord's doing something for us, you know. What can we do for the Lord, tell me? Nobody is going to …?... God. You can believe in that, that's the place …?... Then you can praise Him, that's about it. You can obey Him, that's great. But if your names are not in the Lamb's Book of Life, it just goes so far. But if it's there, everything in Him will be fulfilled in a Bride. Now look, you don't need to fuss about and worry about it. And say, "Bro. Vayle, I wonder if that could happen to me?" Why don't you ask Him. If you don't think you're right with God, ask Him. That's all you've got to do. That's what I did. I never even heard a sermon, my sister lay dying, she was prayed for, and she got healed. Well, I knew enough Bible anyway, having read certain …?... So, I asked a couple …?..., I said, "How do you get right with God? " I said, "I'm all wrong, there's something wrong." And they were very wise, they said, "Just get down and talk to Him." I got down and I talked. When I got through talking, He talked back. It was all over. The next thing your baptized with the Holy Ghost. Why fuss around as though there's some big mystery, some big thing? Some of you people are going to…you're going to fuss around. Some of you young people, and maybe some of you older ones. Until it's all gone. (See?) You say, "Bro. Vayle, my name wasn't on the Lamb's Book of Life." Well, you don't need to worry, you wouldn't have any pull anyway if it wasn't. That's what that pull is all about. You don't think for one minute I can stand here and preach you under conviction? If I can…you get conviction under me, I just tell you one thing, "fap." you ain't got it. God alone can grant repentance. There' nothing in man, there's nothing in my preaching. No way. But I know some of you are just kidding yourselves right now, because know God's got a hold of your heart and try to pull you into Christ and get you lined up. What have you got in mind? What do you think you're going to accomplish standing back? (Fap!) My wife and I were going to get married two years before we did. And you know what? We both figured we didn't have enough money. I think by the time we got married we had less money. [laughter] Don't be stupid this morning, don’t wait. Why do you wait dear brother, why do you tarry so long? What are you waiting for? You ain't doing yourself any favor. You're not going to get better down the road. God receiveth a sinful man. If you think you're going to clean up, you've done miss the boat. God can't take you in, you're too clean, get out. God justifies the ungodly. And if you think you're a little bit too good, go on out and get your sinning over, you're nothing is the first place anyway. Nothing in the second place. I talk like this, because that's the way I talk. Because I'm a human being. I talk right from my gutter heart to your gutter heart. You think you're kidding me? Make right with God this morning. It's not something to be done in a corner, something that off handed. Or something which is super-something, look, it's life, it's Eternal Life. So, get right this morning. Don't come up this altar, get right where you're standing. I'm like old Ralf Barney, he said, "Don't you make one step up here, unless you should put trust in the step, you may forget it." Put your trust in God this morning. Say, "God, come into my heart, God, do something for me." Let God talk back to you, He'll do it for you. Straighten your life out, get you all fixed up. Let's sing, 'Oh how I love Jesus'. Hope of His Calling # 7A (2681) - Page PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 34
