Good Friday Message 'Expediting the Word of God' Beaumont, Texas Bro. Lee Vayle - March 24, 1989 It's good to be here, as Bro. Jack said, it's quite a challenge to use my peripheral vision which at my age is not even straight forward vision. Now I kind of wrap my eyeballs around my ears, I don't think I'm going to do too well, but we'll just try to preach a little bit, and I'm not doing much preaching these days, you understand what I mean by that. I've gotten increasing lazy in my older age and I find it pays. You know, they tell people, these joggers and these fast runners that you don't do your heart any good by, you know, pounding cement and over working yourself, and I find the same way I don't do my brain any good by overworking it. So I just take Bro. Branham's sermons word by word, and I don't have to even struggle. Coming down here is a struggle, because you kind of expect me to take a special little Message and I'm not a specialist. A specialist is a fellow who knows less and less you know, until he knows nothing about nothing pretty well. Well, I know this Message and I take It Word by Word. You know the prophet said, "You pile Word upon Word to get full of the Holy Ghost." And the Bible speaking to people already full of the Holy Ghost, It said you know, "To be filled with the Spirit, speaking yourselves in spiritual songs and hymns." [Eph 5:19] That's what I believe, that the believers today [are] constantly filled with the Holy Ghost by piling Word upon Word. So I'm just saying this to kind of (you know) break the ice and get you aware of the fact you're not going to get much preaching. [Bro. Vayle chuckles] You might think you are, but you're not. Talk a little bit tonight about Good Friday, and then Sunday morning the Lord willing, on Resurrection morning. No deep thinking as far as I'm concerned, just talking a little bit about the things of the Lord, but it's good to see you all. I see quite a few people from the outside and makes me very happy. I want to say that my wife and I were very surprised this afternoon... Where's Connie? Fred's wife. Oh there you are. Fred and Connie brought us a tremendous beautiful bouquet of red roses, and I thought, gee, that's wonderful. What did we do to deserve that? Well, Fred he said, "Well we love you." I said, "Man," I said, "Love doesn't go that far does it?" Thank you very much. Thank you for... Sis. Burge(?) is you name Janet is it? Janet. You brought my wife a present that's nice. That's you little boy eh? He's a cute fellow. I love little kids. You know they haven't come to the place where they get to know me. Madeline's here too, all the way from Ottawa. That's Dennis' cute little wife. There ...?... that's his sister in law. Mike you were sick this morning, got better. That's good. All right, that's fine. So we greeted you, trust you're all feeling good. Hope you're feeling better, let's talk a little bit tonight. Think a little bit tonight about the 'Good Friday Message'. Before we do let's bow our heads in prayer. Heavenly Father, we want to just talk a little bit tonight about that which was two thousand ago and somehow we believe it's repeating again tonight as Alpha is Omega. And what we can draw from It Lord, we pray will be very, very simple, yet very, very good for us. Help us understand as never before, to make this day count Lord, as we have perhaps not thought it would count in this hour. And then Lord, over the entire weekend and into our entire lives. We appreciate everybody coming here, especially those from a distance, those who Lord come together for fellowship, go on with Your Word, because they love You and they love each other. And we know Lord, it's been well said to us, that if we can't love our brothers and sisters there's no use pretending that we're loving You. And that makes us so happy, because we feel this as never before to have the love of our brothers and sisters. And we feel that, because You've revealed the Word to us, and It all runs and comes down to Mal 3:16, "That those who loved You and knew Your Name, and loved Your Name, speaking often to another. And You make a Book of Remembrance Lord, and those people come to a place of discernment." Then we know Lord, there's nothing that come by repetition, but what actually gets bigger and greater, and deeper. And we know that's the way the Word is, "The love of God shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost." [Rom 5:5] So we can come together as a people, know You especially by Your revealed Word. Make us one tonight Lord, not in the thought of what was back in the old days of Pentecost, they wanted some kind of universal organizational Oneness. But Lord, we want something different, we want a Oneness by This Word Lord, for every single person has a revelation, which is the right revelation of that which has been given and vindicated. Speak to our hearts tonight oh God we pray in Jesus' Name. Amen. 1. Now, we going to go to the Book of Matthew chapter 27: and read about eleven or twelve verses, beginning at verse 33, just to get a back ground Scripture for what we call Good Friday here. And It says, (33) And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull, (34) They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink. (35) And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots. (36) And sitting down they watched him there; (37) And set upon over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS. (38) Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left. (39) And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads, (40) And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross, (41) Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said, (42) He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him. (43) He trusted in God; let him deliver him... if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God. (44) The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth. (45) Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. (And so on.) 2. Now, in thinking about the crucifixion of Christ nearly two thousand years ago, first of all there are about three thoughts that come into my mind as concerning His followers at that time, because of the events of that time. And as we look at these three thoughts which merely preface the Message, I want you to be struck with the thought of Alpha is Omega, and that we are in the hour of the crucifixion of Christ again, where in It is said, "They crucified to themselves the Son of God afresh." [Heb 6:6] Now, number one: The devastation created by a faith based on a reality that was misunderstood was utterly appalling. Now, we're quite inured with the gospel as Bro. Branham brought it, we are well versed in understanding the Scripture, and yet it is difficult for many people who call themselves believers in this Message to really understand that statement; that the disciples were actually devastated by a misunderstanding based upon a reality. Because if you speak to the ordinary person of the Laodicean Age in the Laodicean concept, the fact that he can see a reality would lead him to not only disbelieve, but argue and fight that the reality could be misunderstood. My hope is you're getting what I'm saying, because this is an important thing. 3. These men were devastated, the devastation was created by a faith based on a reality that was misunderstood. And I'm talking about the ministry of Jesus Christ which was literally vindicated by God; and these disciples misunderstood the reality which they knew to be reality. They did not have a correct revelation and they were devastated. Now, you know what I'm saying? Just remember, that's Alpha and there's Omega. If it happened back there it happens today. The people that followed Bro. Branham are far too smug, they feel that they know the answers. And I remember years ago talking to a certain man who fancied himself with his brother in law many thousands of miles above, beyond and superior to the ministry at least such as mine, and he had all the understanding concerning Bro. Branham coming back what he would do, which nobody knows what he's going to do when he comes back, because Bro. Branham didn't say anything. And I said to him one time, I said, "Son I want to ask you a question." After I preached thoroughly the Presence of God which you people know to be the Reality of this hour and the very Message of William Branham. And I said, "Would you have known that the baptism with the Holy Ghost and the re-birth was one and the same thing unless I had written the Church Age book?" And he said, "No." Then I said, "How do you know this?" How do you know this? 4. It wasn't that the man didn't understand reality in the sense that before him from 1946 to 1965, was a Reality that the world had not seen for two thousand years, or had seen as much in six thousand years. But there is a total misapprehension of what Bro. Branham's Message being vindicated and minister is all about. Now, let me assure you, that the ministry and the Message of Bro. Branham is one and the same, because years ago, especially 1958 when I was managing his campaign, I was under the misapprehension that the Angel had said, "As John the Baptist foreran the first Coming, so you will forerun the second Coming." When I was politely advised by Leo and Gene who misadvised me, and they said, "Lee, that's not what the Angel said. The Angel said, 'As John the Baptist foreran the first Coming of Jesus Christ, so your ministry will forerun the Second Coming of Christ.'" I dutifully then said every time I face somebody and you talk to an audience, "As John the Baptist foreran the first Coming of Christ, so your ministry will forerun the Second Coming of Christ." And Bro. Branham took me aside, he said, "Lee, you're making a mistake, and you are misinforming the people introducing me wrong." I said, "Bro. Branham what is it, pray tell me." He said, "Lee it is neither me nor my ministry. What He said down there on the river was, 'As John the Baptist foreran the first Coming, so your Message will forerun the Second Coming.'" I said, "Hold it Bro. Branham. Are you trying to tell me that John the Baptist and nobody but John the Baptist. John the Baptist and John the Baptist alone. A personality, a man of that caliber, that category, that ...?... He alone ran the First Coming, but now in this age it could be John Doe, Joe Bush, Bill Smith as a person. But it was now a Message? He said, "You got it!" 5. Now in 1962 Bro. Branham categorically said, "My ministry is to declare that He is here." But his ministry was a Message. Therefore the Message is "He is here!" And his Message is vindicated, and his vindicated Message was partially, basically a great healing ministry. And Bro. Branham said, "There cannot be a true healing ministry, unless there is a new Message." So therefore, the Message of His Presence is not the fundamentalist message, or those of the Holy Ghost, the charismatic's, but it must be something absolutely in you. When you pick up that sermon of his on 'Why was the Holy Ghost Given,' if you read It like a fundamentalist It's going to kill you and destroy you, because that sermon was not meant that way. That sermon was written, "Why is the Holy Ghost as a person, God Himself now here." And for you to misunderstand and misapply is the same as you trying to use a crow bar instead of a hack-saw. Or something exceedingly difficult like a wrench when it should be something very, very fine. 6. So, we see here that these apostles did not mean it, but they positively misunderstood Reality. Yet the world says, "Show me something real." Everybody wants something real. And when Reality comes it can be and is misunderstood. These apostles misunderstood Reality. Now I know that you're a little bit vague here some of you, because you're new to my preaching, you haven't followed me through too much. But let me tell you this, every time God did something by Himself, nobody ever caught It, so He had to use a man. Then every single time God used the man, the man had to explain It to the people that saw It. You say, "I believe if I saw Reality I'd know about It." You would know about the Reality, but you wouldn't know what It was there for. Now you say, "Bro. Vayle you misunderstand my intelligence." I will spit on your intelligence. I'm not interested in your smartness. I'm not stupid. I had my IQ two years ago, pretty smart. A hundred and fifty nine. It wasn't two hundred like some of these other guys, but I'm not a dumb-bell. And smart brains don't mean that I speak ...?... in our church far smarter then I'll ever be. But they never had my understanding, because they weren't given the gift for it. And you don't have to be smart to have a gift, but I want you to know and understand this, you can misunderstand Reality. They misunderstood It, they couldn't follow It. 7. Peter was like John the Baptist, so thoroughly coached by God, that he said, "I know there's One coming I'm going to baptize Him. The Spirit of God is going to come upon Him and stay upon Him, that One is the Son of God." Baptized with the Holy Ghost power. John did it according to revelation, the Truth was there. Oh, when the going got tough John's brain spun around and he sent disciples and he said, "Tell us, were You the One really to come, or do we look for another?" And that same person Peter who positively under the anointing of the Holy Ghost, and not too smart, I suppose as a person, but a very fine person absolutely said concerning Jesus, "Thou art the Christ the Son of the Living God." [Mt 16:16] And Jesus came right back and said, "Flesh and blood has not revealed this, but My Father which is in heaven has done It." Yet in the face of Reality there was still a misunderstanding. Reality does not necessarily mean you will understand. Again, the rest of the disciples one day said to Jesus, "Now we are sure Thou knowest all things, we believe that Thou camest forth from God." ("You came forth from God.") 8. Now, where were they at the time of the death? Scared and scattered like sheep. True vindication by manifestation they were convinced that Jesus' ministry proved that He was the Messiah, but they actually missed knowing exactly why He had come and could not identify with the crucifixion. So therefore, when you can place Reality, it doesn't mean that you know what Reality is there to accomplish! You get what I'm talking about? William Branham vindicated by God came with a Message and they said, "Who needs that junk, that Message stuff?" "Why bless God, he's a prophet when he discerns and tells you all about your stomach aches and your problems, read your history, go back in your pedigree; let me tell you something 'William Branham is off in his doctrine.'" Go to your Pentecostals they're just opening mouths, they're just now blaspheming. They're just now degrading the Truth to bring on the antichrist. 9. Read your 2Thessalonians 2: and find out for yourselves, they're just doing it now. Oh yes, way back there they understood William Branham was a great man. They didn't dare talk about him in vulgar and derogatory terms, but now they wax bold and they write books. And I'm not the kind of a guy to torch their books because God's going to torch them and torch them with it. Don't tell me brother/sister just because something is real you've got the answers. Sit here Branham people and listen to me, you won't hear me too long, this is my last meeting anyway outside my own house. As far as I know my heart and stand before God. I told you in Cincinnati my last public meeting. This is my last visit. No preacher asked me to come and visit your town. I'm not coming, I'm going nowhere. I'm not a judgment preacher, I'm just telling you straight facts. I've been around long enough to see these things. True vindication by magnification they were convinced that Jesus' ministry proved that He was the Messiah. But they actually missed knowing exactly why He had come, they could not identify with the crucifixion. 10. Number two: Though they still loved Jesus and knew His ministry was of God, they were now confused and thought of Him in the terms of a failed man, and a failed goal. And they identified themselves with the apparent failure and somehow thought that either they or this Person must have had the disapproval of God. Now I told you Alpha is Omega. And if you've been listening to me carefully you know that what's happened back there is happened right today under William Branham's ministry, wherein the Son of God is crucified afresh to them. Just perfect right down the line. They were now therefore failures, and actually false believers and in themselves could be therefore subject to God's disapproval and disaffection. Spiritually and physically they were in jeopardy, and must seek some way out, but what was it? Haven't you seen the same turmoil amongst the Branhamites? I have. 11. One fellow wrote a book with all the quotes, and he came out of those who said, "Well Bro. Branham simply got to come back and have a tent and do everything the Word telling you to do." Now listen, Bro. Branham can come back and have a tent, but he's not going to do what they say he's going to do. He's going to do what God tells him to do. And I want to tell you something else about visions. Remember the time what Bro. Branham said, "I tried to fulfill a vision and everything wasn't in divine order?" He said, "Grandma wasn't sitting there, the glasses weren't all steamed up, the red cap wasn't over here, the baby wasn't over here, the man wasn't over here, I wasn't over here. But (he said,) as soon as grandma sat there and this red cap was over there and the baby in the man's arm, the crib over here, and I'm there, I took the baby, 'Thus Saith the Lord'" And he said, "Every single jot and tittle has got to be in exact position, or It can't come to pass." You take that composite vision of the kids in the wheelbarrow the meeting dismissed. I know of no time that was perfectly fulfilled. So Bro. Branham said, "They dismissed the meeting in Mexico." Where were the kids with the little wagons? Where was everything else supposed to be there? I want to know. I'm telling you, because the prophet said, "That's the way it was." Don't look back at me and get smart with me kiddo. Because I'm going to tell you the prophet laid the lines down, I never laid them down! 12. And the second part, that was a spiritual vision, "You can't teach Pentecostal babies doctrine." What's the third? Don't ask me. And if you've got an ounce of spiritual concept in your soul, you'll just leave that with God and William Branham. It wasn't your vision, it wasn't my vision, it was his vision. What it means is his business. But oh, there's a lot of guys got the answers they'll tell you. Very strange, what if He puts off Coming for fifty solid years and those people are all dead? What part of the Word is going to go on to fulfillment? Listen, those disciples were disillusioned. I can just think of those men talking about a great vindicated ministry of the things of that man said. But they said, "Where is it?" They didn't know the Roman candle sequence, what was going to come out of what. So they stood there disillusioned, they found themselves thus with no hope and baffled. 13. So now therefore, number three: There was now a reassessment of their faith. They had to reassess it. Let's take a look at the thought, they said, "Well, it was William Branham himself was going to stand there and point to the sky and say, 'Behold the Lamb of God,'" as though he already hadn't done it. "Well now, he's got to come back and do it in the Resurrection." Well all right, I can buy that. "Yeah but it's going to be his ministry." The man's been dead twenty five years. "Oh just a minute then, there's a message." He said, "You got to pile Word upon Word, upon Word." We haven't had enough Word piled on I think that's the whole trouble. There's a reassessment of our faith. Under the reassessment of faith: A: There was a desperate reassessment, because now they had to determine just what their position was with God, because at that particular moment they might have believed a lie and even relied upon it and all liars go to hell. Well look at yourself. See, brother/sister listen, hindsight is so tremendous that fore sighting ain't worth a plug nickel. It's the other way around actually. People are supposed to know what's down the road according to Scripture when it's pointed out to them. But they're in a desperate position, because what if they believed the lie? 14. Now, tonight we're fortunate that we can look back to the Alpha to help our Omega. We have our problems, I've had mine problems, you've had your problems. But there's something that says, "Well just a minute, if I'm not going to let it go, because I wouldn't know where to go political." But they might think within themselves two thousand years ago could they have blasphemed the Word and Its God? If this Message on the Presence is right, and I assure you It is right, because Bro. Branham's ministry was to "declare that He is here". And positively a true healing ministry has to be followed by a new Message, or It is not a true healing ministry. Come on, "you can't have your cake and eat it [too.]" You can't sit there and be idiots. Where does it put you? Come on, get your thinking on. Get your minds renewed, where are you tonight? Pentecost doesn't call It a healing revival. They were like the birds who came to the original author of building birds' nests, when the bird nest builder showed the birds how to do the first steps, some ran off with the first step. Some ran to the second step, third step, the fourth and fifth step. Very few birds waited until the author got all the way through. Too many people are this way here with the Message. They were desperate, they could have believed a lie. They could have blasphemed the Word. And as I said a minute ago, there are those who could not place the Presence, and they blasphemed the literal Word of God. 15. You say, "You've become a judge." I want to ask you a question: is that a grand piano or an upright, is it a ...?... or a studio? Is this a microphone or a horse-collar? Am I speaking to intelligent or stupid people? I'm known for being rough, but I love your little children and I love you, but as a preacher, I am not easy to stand. Because you see, I have my battles. When I have my times as I look at this Word, battle my way through every inch of It towards the faith that doesn't depart from It. So, if shouldn't handle you with kid gloves, that's not Lee Vayle, forget it! Get yourself somebody else or a patsy. I'm not available. These men have blasphemed the Word of God having denied the Presence. And those who denied the Presence, and I began in 1977 are now turned around, and they said, "Yes we've run out of gas, there must be something beyond the Baptism." Now they're preaching It. How fast can you catch up in fourteen solid years? 16. My brother, my sister, the Presence is inconsequential unless you understand Who is Present and that's the Judge. And that becomes inconsequential unless you understand White Throne is on now. Can you adjust your understanding, or will you too blaspheme the Word of God, because Bro. Branham said, "It is on now." Well that's a figure...[blank spot on tape] ...souls are at. There's aren't any figures of speech. William Branham never came to make figures of speech. Jesus came with parables, but William Branham did not come with parables. Paul the apostle came with doctrine. Doctrine which he suggested, doctrine which he pointed to. But doctrine which he could not enunciate, William Branham came and did it. There are no more parables, there are not more mysteries. The trouble lies in our own trouble thinking, because we cannot put the Word of the hour together, as those back there could not do it until there came a suitable time under the Presence of Almighty God and God did it. See, now that the vision had ended, where could they go and what could they do? 17. Well, what clue was there to go to for another revelation? Now, nobody asked Bro. Branham to come in. Oh a lot of them tried to get rid of him. That's a fact. Nobody asked Jesus to come, or how to come then they killed Him. No prophet was ever asked to come, or when they did come they killed him, or did their best to kill him. Always made it tough. But now we look at this thing. Those disciples stood there, and as they had previously said to Jesus before the crucifixion and His death, they said, "To whom shall we go." And then their dark period of the crucifixion when everything was seemingly taken away their Messiah was gone. They couldn't help themselves they said, "Where can we go?" They didn't believe He was going to come back. They didn't know He was going to come back. They didn't know what was going to happen. They said, "Where are we going to go from here, there isn't any place to go." 18. Now, they were completely at an end within themselves as to what would really transpire, so that something could happen, but God help us somehow. You know brother/sister, we're not there where they were, and yet we are there where they were. Remember Bro. Junior Jackson had that dream? Bro. Branham took a crow-bar, sliced the top of the mountain off, it was white stone down there. And he said, "You stand there and read this until I come back." They couldn't read anything. You know really that's the Shout, bought in the hands of angels. Why cannot people be just a hundred percent perfectly content? The disciples weren't, just simply take what Jesus said. Now remember, in the Resurrection when He came back, "Oh," they said, "He did say those things didn't He?" 19. Why can't the people who say they believe this Message do what the disciples did? Just go back and stay with the Message, Word by Word, because that's all they could do. Where are you going to get a future revelation? "Well," you say, "There are people who took Bro. Branham's Message and they made a revelation." Oh yes they did. They made like the guy in Ohio, got into polygamy. Guy in the Carolina's did the same thing. Some of you people know what I'm talking about. Others made a good thing when they abused people, broke up homes. Destroyed people took their money, did everything they can. Talk about Judas with a bag, and everything they did it. But the disciples never got into that what if at all. They just had to stand right there knowing they had no place else to go. 20. Now what happened in that crucial period? Judas killed himself. A lot of people act like Judas, they just kill themselves. Blaspheme the Word of God, walk away from life and they died. There's nothing else left. And there's those like Peter who denied It, they're too fearful to stand up, they just deny. Then there are those like John, John the Beloved, he didn't just say a word, he just stood back and kind of looked. But they all fled, because the Bible said, "You take and get rid of the shepherd and all the sheep are going to go." But listen, in spite of every thing on that black Friday night, and there's a black Friday here in 1989, something was going on. The death of Jesus did not stop the Word of God. Actually, death had expedited It. You know that? The death of Jesus expedited the Word. Something happened that caused a halt in the manifested life of God and His Word at a particular time, which caused desolation in the hearts of those who did not understand the revelation of Reality, who stood there completely immobilized, literally rigid, not knowing that the death of Jesus was going to expedite every single thing that He said and stood for, and that without It, they could not of been the beneficiaries of what had been said in promise. That's Alpha, what about Omega? The same John the Baptist said, "He must increase while I decrease," the same William Branham said, "I must decrease and He will increase." And he said, "There won't be two of us here at the same time." 21. There would have necessity be then, in all of what we have gone through in our black Friday for roughly twenty five solid years, and what looks as though it were quite possible that William Branham might be followed somewhere down through the age of maybe ten years, twenty five, fifty, one hundred to one thousand years. And another ministry such as his come on the scene to interpret again the Word of God. I don't believe that for fifteen seconds, but I'm afraid that's what must come into people's minds if they don't understand especially what we're going through based on the Alpha of the original. But this Word that Bro. Branham gave us has been expedited by his death. You maybe heard it on tapes, even seen it on video cassette, I don't know if I said it here in Beaumont, when I was out in Tucson in 1985, the winter, I sat with Bro. Hickerson who was a very dear friend of Bro. Branham's. Bro. Hickerson told me Bro. Branham suddenly said, "Hicks," he said, "At this time I'm up here and you're down here. When I'm off the scene you'll be up here, because I'll be gone." It took the death of Jesus Christ to expedite the Word of Almighty God and bring It to pass. And it took the death of William Branham to expedite the Word of God and bring It to pass within the Bride in a way that it could not have been done before. Actually, then the death of Christ expedited the Word of God and caused It to flourish. But what was in progress was hidden, and was revealed only in its chronological pattern as God allowed It to be revealed. 22. What's a chronological pattern today? The chronological pattern according to the Bible, 2 Corinthians the 3rd chapter, when the veil is completely lifted from the face, the Spirit of God is at liberty where men can now look into the Word, and thereby receive transfiguration through a ministry. That ministry was the absolute 'Thus Saith the Lord' Message of Almighty God through a prophet. Now, you might have thought I was going to say 'Thus Saith the Lord' ministry. The 'Thus Saith the Lord' was a ministry. But the 'Thus Saith the Lord' ministry was only given in order to cause us to know there was a 'Thus Saith the Lord' Message. That's why Bro. Branham said, "Tell It just as I tell It, don't take a word and don't add a word." Let It be Word upon Word. And had not Bro. Branham gone off the scene, the Word would not have been broken down by the faithful five-fold ministry of whom there are not very many. 23. If I can believe Bro. Sam Connelly who has passed away, a good friend of Bro. Branham's, was a good friend of Bro. Thorsen,(?) and I believe he's a fine honorable man. Bro. Thorsen told me one day that Sam told him as Bro. Branham left he said, "Sam there aren't that many true five-fold ministers in this Message. That's way back, twenty five, twenty six years ago. We've seen a lot of faithful young men raise up where we... Bro. Branham today might raise his hands and say, "By the grace of God we got forty out there, fifty, I don't know." But, I do know this, that positively according to the Scripture the Alpha and the Omega what went on after the death of Jesus Christ, the shedding of the rich life blood upon the ground, that which was done brought forth what could not have brought forth previously, and had to come that particular way. 24. So, something was going on very definitely on that Friday and on that Saturday to break forth on a Sunday morning. Now what was going on? What was veiled or hidden to be revealed according to the chronology which should be manifested, or brought before the people later on? Let's take it this way. Number 1: Israel like Adam was given a choice of the Tree of Life, and the knowledge of good and evil. Or death and life. Israel turned it down. They said, "Let His blood be upon us." And so therefore they left the Tree of Life which was Jesus Christ. Today as I mentioned already we have the Tree of Life exposed again, because that's exactly true. Under the Seventh Seal, the Tree of Life comes into view. And the Tree of Life in particular is that which is recognized in the Bible as the source of immortality and nothing else is that source. Now, it is type, it is type. 25. Adam and Eve could not go to the Tree of Life, lest they lived forever, which signified an immortal condition. Now, it wasn't that God was not going to let them be immortal, they were to be immortal. Let me tell you something, do you understand what I'm saying? It was already the sovereignty of God they were going to be immortal. They did not have to get into sin in order to become immortal. They did not have to die in order to become immortal, they were going to be immortal. Had they gone to the Tree they would have been immortal, and they would have been that way in a sinful condition. So God said, "No way." Now there's coming a time on earth when the Tree of Life must Appear again. And man must have the ability to go to that Tree of Life symbolically, Christ Himself, and eat of that Word, which is the Tree of Life and there's no knowledge of good and evil, It is a hundred percent Life. And the eating of that Tree which is the Word, that man will put on Immortality, and that man and that woman will not die. 26. Now listen, let's look at it today in the crucifixion of the Word of this hour. I will say to you truly and I will not take it back in spite of the fact that there's a Pentecostal convention in the Hilton Motel where we are. In spite of the fact there's millions and millions and millions of Pentecostals talking in tongues, and the pope talks in tongues, and all the great people of God talk in tongues. Call it what you will, they have said consistently, they have never changed their tune, "Millions now living will never die," when the Bible categorically said, "As it was in the days of Noah, eight people alone will make a Rapture." If I am to believe those people out there I deny the Word of Almighty God, I have no part in It whatsoever. Now what I am driving at is this: "They will crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh," after these conditions prevail in Hebrews 6. And I feel led to read them to you, though I'm sure that most of you will ever hear me at any condition, whether personally, or under a tape know what I say. 27. It says here at the last, [Hebrews 6:] (1) Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on (to) perfection; (to an absolute conclusion, finish the thing off;) not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, (2) Of the doctrine of baptisms, laying on of hands, (the) resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. (3) And this will we do, if God permit. (4) For it is impossible for those who were once (and for all) enlightened, have tasted of the heavenly gift...made partakers of the Holy Ghost. (5) ...(Having) tasted the good word of God...the power of the world to come, (6) ...(Having fallen) away, (they cannot be) renew(ed) again (to) repentance seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh... And the absolute chronology of that Scripture is, those who have been once and for all enlightened, and have gone through that particular process, not if they should they fall away, but at that time having falling away there is no way to get back to God. 27. Therefore, if William Branham was that man sent by God, and his vindicated ministry was to the Word, and they turned down the Word, then these are the ones that crucified to themselves the Son of God afresh, and they will never come to the Tree of Life. There will not be one of them immortalized. You say, "Bro. Vayle you're judging." Listen, say what you want, I have made my choice, I have cast the die, 'live or die, sink or swim', it's over, except for this Message. You do what you want, it's your God given chance. But I stand here tonight knowing I'm standing in the Presence of the Great Eternal One, the Ancient of Days and the White Throne is here and for us. Israel said, "His Blood be upon us." I am not of that ilk, I say, "His Life be upon me." They, those of Israel were identified with Adam and knew it not. Remember, "As in Adam all died, even so in Christ all are made alive," [1Cor 15:22] but they turned down the Christ and took Adam. Adam speaks of the senses, the earth man of the earth earthy. The Bible distinctly says, "Adam was of the earth earthy." [1Cor 15:47] Jesus was the Lord of Heaven. 28. What we have seen in this day as the Omega as we have seen the Word of God brought by an ordinary human being that is true, for what he brought was absolutely of God. We've identified ourselves with the Adam which is from heaven. But the rejection and death of Jesus did not have the same consequences as in Eden. Wherein a command of God, or the Spoken Word of God was rejected, then death came. Now, living flesh Word rejection opened the Life to Immortality. In other words, It opened the door where the dead could now come back. The Judge the crucified One that's spoken, "All that the Father gives Me shall come to me." [Jn 6:37] The people of the disciples did not know that that was true. They heard Him say that, but they didn't know how It was going to be. They thought it was some other method was going to do It, but it happened in the darkness. 29. Number two: [Four] The complete absolution and redemption of every son of God was perfected, for there's no more sacrifice. Remember, Bro. Branham at this time said, and he said it after he preached his sermons on the judgment of this world where the people were now condemned. He said, "Little Bride, you're the perfect, righteous, blameless Bride of the Lord Jesus Christ, you didn't even do it." Perfect justification. 30. [Number] three: [Five] The resurrection of every son of God was assured. Absolutely. At the time of the Cross there wasn't one son of God that will not be resurrected. We go back here to the Book of Genesis. Start where He said, (because this is Good Friday that's why we speak this way.) Genesis 1:[4:] 1-15. You can read the whole thing. (1) And Adam knew his wife, she conceived and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord. (2) ...she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the (soil) ground. (3) And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. (It was a good offering, the Bible says so.) (4) And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering. (5) But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. (6) And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? (7) If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door, And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. (8) And Cain (answered) talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. (9) And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I (don't know:) Am I my brother's keeper? (10) And (God said,) What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground. (11) And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive they brother's blood from thy hand; (12) When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her (fruit;) a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth. (13) And Cain said unto the Lord, My punishment is greater than I can bear. (14) Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me. (15) And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him. 31. All right, let's go over here to Heb 11:40. All right, (40) God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. Starting with the death of Abel, he's got to come up in the first Resurrection. Now we're looking at the Resurrection again. God having provided some better thing for us, "That they without us should not be made perfect." [Heb 11:40] Now who is he talking to and what's he talking about? He's talking about those that are going to go into a Rapture. 32. Let's go then to Heb 12:18, (18) For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, not unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest, (19) ...(the (voice) of trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heart intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more: (20) For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart. (21) And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake: (22) (Listen,) But (you) are come unto mount Sion, (that's New Jerusalem) unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem (that's the Bible calls It, two names, living City, or living God. Zion, Mt Zion. New Jerusalem, Heavenly Jerusalem,) and to an innumerable company of (messengers) angels, (23) To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which (is) written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect. (24) And Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. (25) See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: (26) Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. (27) And this word, once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken (there) remain. (28) Wherefore (not this time)we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptable with reverence and godly fear: (29) For our God is a consuming fire. 33. Now, what are we looking at there? We're looking at the very fact, we're looking at New Jerusalem the accompanying of the immortals. It says, there's a group of people comes right to the City. When they come right to the City they go in. That's this hour, because That's the One from Heaven that comes and speaks to us. The Resurrection was assured to Abraham, Isaac, Moses and all those great people. The Resurrection is also assured to all the people in the New Testament, John the Beloved, Matthew, Mark, Paul, all the great ones. William Branham last prophet, go on. All the ones that believe this Message, they're there. Absolutely true, there's no doubt about it. They're going to come out of that ground, just the same as they came back yonder, the time when Jesus said, "Lazarus, come forth," and performed a Resurrection. Those people positively knew that there was such a thing as a Resurrection, though their hearts gave way, but there was a Resurrection took place. Now, let's look at ourselves in the Omega. We have a vindicated Message. The dead were raised five times under Bro. Branham at least that number of times. Under him those squirrels were created. Under him great things took place vindicating this Message. We know brother/sister, we have come to the place where there's going to be a people who positively will not die, but go into the heavens. There is no way that you can get by. 34. Number four: [Six] Back at the time of Christ, the Token could not of been given without the Blood. Over here in Heb10:1-18, you can read it for yourselves. But the verses that...let's read 12 and 13 more than the others. (12) But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; (13) From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. (14) For by one offering (has) he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Now, let's go a little further. (15) Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, (16) This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the LORD, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; (17) And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. (18) ...where (there's no more remembrance) of these, (there's) no more offering for sin. We have the same thing today as I look at It, the Word of Almighty God. He said, "For this man after you offered one sacrifice for sin, forever sat down on the right hand of God, from henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool." 35. Now watch, what It says back there. Now turn with me to 1Corinthians 15. I might kind of lose you here, because I talk pretty fast, but I'll catch you up for myself. Beginning at verse 20. (20) But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. (21) For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection (from) the dead. (22) For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive, (23) But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his (Appearing, Presence.) (24) Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father: when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. (25) For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. So what's he say there? One sacrifice, He sat down henceforth expecting till his enemies be made His footstool. 36. Now, here It tells you when it's going to be, at the very Presence of Christ. And Bro. Branham said, "My Message is to declare that He is here." So what's He here for? He is to put everything under His feet. That started way back in the death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is now fulfilled in this very hour. The very Presence amongst us, the Pillar of Fire to lead us, which is God Himself in a Pillar of Fire. And It says, "He must reign." Now what's He going to reign over? The Church, because He is the Head of the Church. It doesn't matter about the world, He's going to destroy it. The kingdoms of this world must fall, they must become the kingdoms of our God and of His Christ. This is decidedly to the Church, because it distinctively says right here, "That every man in his own order, Christ the first fruits, afterwards, they that are Christ's at His Coming," so He's coming for His Church. 37. And at this particular time He's going to put all enemies under His feet. Under who's feet? Jesus' feet. God does not put the enemies under God's feet, he puts the enemy under Jesus' feet. See? And the last enemy destroyed is death. Now that is at the lake of fire. Do you see now, why the White Throne is already here? And Eternity and time have blended. It's already started. It's not going to stop. It's going on and on and on. It's already begun, they're not going to change It one iota. Now, It says, [1 Corinthians 15:] (27) For he hath put all things under his feet... In other words, It's a consummated thing in the Book of Almighty God that they... the work has been done in the sense it is carried out. (27) ...(And) when He saith all things are put under (His feet) it is manifested that he is (left out), which put all things under him. (28) When (he hath put all things under him,) then shall he......the Son himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. 38. So what we're looking at here brother/sister, in this very end time is come back over here in 1Thessalonians the 4th chapter. It should not be too hard to follow. In verse 16, (16) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout... What's the Shout? The Message. Who brought It down? Jesus brought It down. Who is here? Jesus is here in the form of the Holy Ghost. That's the Message that Bro. Branham brought it, because he was the voice, and It does not say in the Greek that Jesus is the voice. It doesn't day that. It's not said to be the Voice of the One descends. Not said at all. It's the voice of the prophet. Alright, He's come on down, He's brought us the Message, and the Message is that which puts everything under the feet of Jesus. Positively, because the Bride has got together and taken out of here. 39. Now...let me see, we might go back here to Hebrews again. Now remember in Hebrews in that 10th chapter, It says concerning the coming of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is a witness, the 15th verse. (15) ...for after that he said before, (16) This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the LORD, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write. (This is the mind age, right?) (17) And their sins and iniquities I remember no more. Now just a minute, do you know that it's positively goes further than just the sins. It goes to the place where every tears' wiped away, because It says, (18) ...where remission...is, there is no more offering... (there will be absolutely no more problem with it.) Now let's watch further, (19) Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus. (20) By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; (that's the death upon Calvary.) (21) And having an high priest over the house of God; (22) Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, (and so on right on down the line.) Not forgetting to hold fast your confession with confidence, bringing yourself together, like it says in Mal 3:16, "So much the more as you see the day approach. Watch what It says 26, (26) ...we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins. The knowledge of the Truth absolutely means the sacrifice will not work for anybody who doesn't have the Truth, like It says in John. (27) But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, (who) shall devour the adversaries. (28) He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: (29) Of how much sorer punishment...(would) be thought worthy... Then right on down there going in. It tells you verse 35, (35) Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. (36) For (you got) need of patience...(and so on.) And then It says in verse 38, (38) ...the just shall live by faith: (Now if) any man draw back, my soul have no pleasure in him. (Faith is a revelation.) (39) But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition... 40. Let's go back now into 1 Thessalonians again. You see all the Bible works together. I don't care just where you read It brother/sister, when you got talking about the Second Coming of the Lord and all these things, the Rapture. There's no Scripture that doesn't dovetail. Now look what It says here again in 1Thessalonians [4:] (16) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: (17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (18) ...comfort one another with these words. 41. And then what does It do? It goes right on to 1Thessalonians the 5th chapter. (1) But of the times and the seasons, brethren, (you) have no need that I write unto you. Now look, As I look at the Bible I believe there's a greater revelation than just a group of words that can impart a knowledge to you. I don't believe any part of the Bible is written without a direct chronological sequence where that chronological sequence is needed, because Paul goes on to say in the 5th chapter concerning this thing we're talking about. (1) But of the times and the seasons, brethren, (you) have no need that I write unto you. (2) For (you) yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night, (3) For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. (4) But (you) brethren, are not in darkness, that [that] day should overtake you as a thief. (5) (You) are the children of light, (that's what John said, children of the day John said the same thing,) ...(you) are not of night, (you're) of darkness. (6) Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober, (7) For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 42. Now listen. When did this Scripture take place I'm reading in 1 Thessalonians? It took place when the Cloud of angels came to Bro. Branham. Now, here's what It says to you and me. We are now not unaware of what is transpired in the season we're in. So therefore, do not act as though you have no light. Do not go to sleep, because if you sleep you're like those that drink and get drunken. For what do we do? (8) (We) are of the day, (we're) sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation. (Watch,) (9) For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, (10) Who died for us, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together... Bro. Branham said, "Whether you live or die in this hour it doesn't matter, you're going to be in the Rapture." Now, look at this hour of the Good Friday the crucifixion we're in right at this very point. Now he say's here, but I read It, (9) For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ... 43. Let's go back to the Book of Matthew the 12th chapter. What Jesus did in Israel was the prototype of what He did for the Gentiles under William Branham. (15) ...when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all; (16) And charged them that they should not make him known: (17) That it might be fulfilled...spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, (18) Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is pleased: I will put my Spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles. (19) He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets, (Now listen,) (20) A bruised reed shall he not break, (the) smoking flax (he) shall not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory. (21) And in his name shall the Gentiles trust. This is spoken to the Gentiles at the time when Jesus comes to them in the form of the Holy Ghost is the time they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh. He says, "At this time I do not destroy, I restore." In other words, the light, now the little bruised reed signifies what a person holds his hands to and his strength from, he leans on it while he goes his way. Shepherds used it. And he said I will not break that staff, I will give you strength. And the staff is broken, because it gets old, and as it gets old it splits, and as you lean on it, it breaks and it goes into your hands. It could give you great problems. It's a reed of the Orient. And what is a 'smoking flax'? It is the wick that's placed in a bowl of oil. That bowl of oil you light it, that little wick and then you leave it burn day and night, and day and night in the window. And all you do is just take a little bit of that carbon off and it begins to burn again. 44. Now remember this, that the foolish virgins did not have oil. They had a light, they had a wick, but they didn't have an oil. The wise virgin had oil. Now what does God do at the end time? He does not take it and destroy it. He simply snuffs it off and the light comes on again. He didn't do that to Israel. What are we talking about? We're talking about the Tree of Life going right into immortality, see? So, as you look at all the things we've talked about that happened back there two thousand years ago, I bring to your attention this, that tonight this service is a memorial [end of side one]...and not going to miss out as Israel. We are going to go into eternal and immortal life even as we have been told. Now there maybe confusion in our ranks, there's always confusion. Always confusion. I hear of things I could not believe a person could say. I hear a preacher say that Jesus is in a comatose state. How can there be a High Priest and be in a comatose state? How could He have called off the mercy seat behind the Throne, and taken the Book out of the Father's hand, ripped the Seals off and climbed on the Father's Throne for the Father comes down here? Because That's what came down. Elohim came down here, the same One in Genesis chapter 19. I hear strangest doctrines, I don't know where they get it. Preachers that run with the peripheral where Bro. Branham said, "Well this verse of Scripture here has many meanings of course." Takes the point where...the Word of God is said, "Well now here, of what is man you're mindful?" And the preacher says, "Now I want you to know, that's not Jesus Christ." That is Jesus Christ! That is Jesus Christ. There's confusion that I know in the ranks of the ministers. Preachers get together and decide. 45. Look at two men in a meeting that I'm well aware of, which I would not attend, because I will not attend preacher's meeting I'm not interested. Till Bro. Branham said to do it. I would do it under the condition Bro. Branham said to do it. Sit there looking to two men, literally... start an organization. They say, "Well this is it." You know why they think Jesus is comatose? Because they're Jesus Only. Bro. Branham categorically said, "We are not Oneness, we are not Trinity, we stand between." And yet he said, "There wasn't two Gods." So that's Father and Son. That's not God the Son, that's the Son of God. Read your Bibles, read what the prophet said. Right down the line, there's confusion. Our ranks are full of it. But you know something? Those disciples who were right around Him had confusion. They didn't know what to do between Friday night and Sunday morning. They didn't even know there'd be a decent Sunday morning. After seeing Lazarus raised they still didn't have a clue. They seemingly lost the ability to bring to their minds and attention what Jesus had said. And so they stood in confusion. We don't have that confusion by the grace of God, because we can hold steady, because we know that sunrise of the third day is soon upon us and we're going to see the Glory of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. 46. Of course we'll see Bro. Branham first. We're not going to see Jesus in flesh before we see Bro. Branham. The whole Seven Ages going to come upfirst, because the first is last, the last is first. And if William Branham doesn't come up first then he didn't tell us the truth, because he said, "The last age would, because the last is first, the first is last." And then he says in Going Up and the Ascent, "Number one is first, and seven is last." And he said, "The last little group of people would be changed and they would be caught away a few at a time, so that nobody even know about It." But that's what he said, and I know it's true, because he said it. "You say, "How do you know it's true?" Because it is true, it's vindicated. It's indicated, vindicated, see? The evil night of Friday, a dark evil night in that dead watch of Saturday is going to give way to Life Immortal come some Sunday morning. That's right. 47. Now listen, It happened in spite of it. That's right. Know that what God has promised He watches. Bro. Branham said, "I the Lord have planted, I'll water it, lest any man pluck it out of My hand." Bro. Branham said, "The disciples came to the place where they said, 'live, die, sink or swim, this is all we know, where can we go, because You alone have the Words of Eternal Life.'" Now seeing the Omega sacrifice of the Word is Hebrews 6, we must never think of diminishing the power that that death has at this moment as it had in the days gone by. What am I trying to tell you? They crucified the Word of God afresh. The prophet is off the scene, and people are looking for answers. They're still back in Pentecost that I believe there's some amongst us that if they went to the refrigerator door and the light didn't go on, they'd say, "Aha, great darkness is coming upon the earth." As the light clicked on, "Grace of God, we just got stopped from happening." I believe it's true. It's a laughable matter but it's a horrible matter. They've gone back to something different from what the prophet taught. The prophet taught, there are no more signs and wonders coming that's through Israel. He said, "It's all over. " There aren't anymore ministries, there aren't any more prophets. There's no more of anything, because it's completed. 48. Now then, what are we going to look to? There's only one thing to look to and that's the Word what the prophet said, because that's exactly where we're looking. There is going to be a glorious Resurrection, there's going to be glorious Transformation, there's going to be a great Rapture in spite of all the confusion, as Bro. Branham has gone forth. Discerning Bro. Branham and his ministry with a wrong revelation decreases people's faith. That's right. Absolutely true. I've seen it happen. But you know what? It's not going to stop the Resurrection. How many people believe the truth? Bro. Branham said, "I hear there's ten thousand people believe the Message, I must shake them off." That's what he said. "Ten thousand, must shake them off." I heard a report of a quarter million is supposed to believe the Message. Let me tell you something, "There's no way they can." That does not make us try to hold to some little group, some little cult and say we have something and nobody has anything Bro. Branham brought that out. And he said, "That's now what we're saying." It's not what we're saying. But he said, "There's a Word of the hour." And there's a Word for this hour. 49. What is the Word for this hour? "He's here, the Revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ." The Judas' are committing public suicide. You think they're not? They're liars. They brazenly lie. The preachers that commit adultery, why our State is full of it. They just penned [jailed] a guy the other day for about eighty cases they dismissed seventy eight penned him with two child molestations mostly young boys. It's not all young boys. It says he believes the Message. I don't know what message he believes, I never heard of it. I have no inclination myself ...?... I know men that broke up homes, have been destruction as wolves, it's all manifested the Judas' are hanging themselves as Bro. Branham said, "Give a cow enough rope, it'll hang itself," and they're doing it. The Judas' are hanging themselves. Some of the poor Peter's are denying, they've gone to the press and say, "We've made a mistake." Some of the John's are too timid to speak up. What do you think of that? It's Friday night. It's Saturday, but God's faithful. This Word and His Word of the hour has already brought to us the Power of the Resurrection. And the God that's here that brought the Message is going to Speak with a loud Voice one of these days, and the dead are going to come forth. 50. Good Friday is not black Friday. Good Friday is God working His purpose, His Will and His Redemption; even while men stand in awe and confusion. What God did and is doing now is hidden and only to be revealed. Bro. Branham categorically said, "God hides Himself only to reveal Himself." Because that in which He hides Himself is a vessel, or that which finally causes a Revelation. You had a lot of trouble for the twenty five years since Bro. Branham's gone. I don't think we're going to have twenty five more. I don't know if we'll have one more. But I know one thing, the same that you know that we don't have to be great students of the Bible to understand what was is going to be and always has been and always will be. That that Friday they crucified Jesus and stumbled through their doubts and their fears. The reality they had but they couldn't place that there wasn't one Elect that missed the Resurrection. ...Friday dark as it is. The Saturday is dark. ...want to tell you the honest truth. I guess one of the reasons I don't go around anymore is not just because my health can't stand it, and I guess I'm kind of glad of that. Of what I've seen over the years I'm not anxious to see anymore. 51. The men touted as the great men who could go into even darkest Africa with this Message and had a sort of, what they said, a simplistic beautiful approach that caused the people to come into the mix and somehow has such a great approach, was able to do such great things for God. It's so polluted with immorality, so you couldn't stand before anybody. Good Friday is just the same as still not black Friday. Good Friday is still God working His Perfect Will, His Perfect Redemption amongst the confusion of men. Though hidden from most, God's working and moving in a marvelous way. There was no mistake then, though men thought there was, there's no mistake now. You know something, they must have argued like people argue today. I got no doubt about it. There was no failure then, there's no failure now. There was no change then, and there's no change now. God just let them be in that period of time until something was worked out and It had to be the Word, tha's all It was. Worked out, where you could meet Him on that beautiful and wonderful morning. 52. So I trust tonight, you had a lot of doubts and I preach hard I don't glid the lily. Paul the apostle said, "It's even ashamed to speak of those things that's done of them in secret," and turned right around and told them. John the apostle preached of love until you'd figured the man would never ever talk about anybody or rebuke anybody stand in anybody's way just turn and run off. ...?... They put it in right in print, he said, "I'm going to tell you something about that fellow Diotrephes. He loved the preeminence. [3 Jn 9] He had the nerve to shut me out on a pulpit." But he said, "You wait, I settle his ash, his day's coming." Paul said, "Listen, (he said,) you people got an idea because I'm soft in words." He said, "I can't confront you, (he said,) you wait until I get there, you'll find out what kind of guy I am." 53. You know, in spite of everything that people do, in spite of everything that people say, you got to come to the place where it doesn't matter what they say, you're going to stand with what you believe. You've got to do it, because let me tell you something brother/sister, the disciples had the privilege given them. In their dark hour of doubts and indecision to see a Resurrected Christ come on the scene to settle all their doubts and fears, we don't have that. We've already seen the Resurrection manifested amongst us. There's been a spiritual Resurrection in our midst waiting for a physical. It's those who turn-coat now, and turn from the Message are the ones that crucified to themselves the Son of God afresh and put Him to a open shame. Maybe you've been doubtful, you've been puzzled. I'm like I've said tonight, you preachers particularly drive me crazy. I'm not a friend of preachers when it come to most, I'll be honest with you. Not to say different from what I believe, that's not it at all. It's the spirit and what goes on amongst them where they captivate the people, where they abused them. Where they hold them in bondage, wreck families, wreck homes. I could name you men who caused men to lose their property, lose their shirts, lose their wives, lose their kids, lose everything and say that's God. That isn't God! 54. God in this hour came to get His family together. Don't you tell me any preacher has any right to put any pressure that dissolves anything. I've been called upon people right in this audience, I'm looking at a man's right eye right now that had the same problem, man destroyed his home. Right? Destroyed his home. Yep. Makes you wonder doesn't it? People of this world look at those preachers, those men and they say, "There's nothing to that Branham Message." The High Priest stood by and he said, "Well, if He's the Son of God let Him come down off the cross. Truly if He's the Son of God He can really come off the cross and turn this whole thing around." And He just laid on that Cross and He died. 55. I want to tell you something brother/sister, and get this flat, we've already heard from the One from Heaven. You're not going to hear from Him again. You won't hear that Shout I don't believe for one minute you'll hear that Shout that raises the dead, they'll hear It. Why should we hear what they got to hear? What gives you and me the idea we're going to hear something? If there is a Thunder somehow how are we going to interpret It? Who's the man standing here to do It? So I'm trying to show you it's a dark hour, but the Light has broken in this dark hour of Shalom that presses back the darkness. And it doesn't matter what I or any preacher, or anybody, or any country, or any government, or anything, it doesn't matter anymore. It'll puzzle you, it'll bother you. But I want to tell you something, next Sunday morning is Resurrection morning. That's right. Hold steady, hold steady. Put your doubts and fears behind you. Don't judge anything, except by the Word, and That's already Judged. 56. So, the night ended with Good Friday. Those poor people amazed at the wonder of it all. They were sure that He was that Messiah. So then something happened, and they were left alone for a little while. They forgot that Jesus said, "Behold, I may leave you comfortless for a little while, but I want to tell you that's not My plan. My plan was never to leave you comfortless, I'm going to come back to you, the Holy Spirit is going to make that difference." Tonight we have the same blessed promise brother/sister. The Pillar of Fire is here to lead us in the Millennium. The prophet that said here, "Look on This until I come back, stay with This." I've preached since 1977, and from 1981 and I've never I suppose had...I don't know if I ever preached one sermon that don't bring anything. The Presence of Almighty God, and the Transforming Power is that Word, that piles Word upon Word. As long as you pile Word upon Word, I want to tell everyone in their seats tonight, you have no fear, but the minute that you leave off that Word, you are finished. It's all that's going to take you through. 57. I've been healed by the Power of God. Arthritis like you can't believe it. Bro. Branham said to a certain person, he said, "You'll say the right word, you'll be healed." Going down the road one time on Highway 47, I can tell you just where that is, where the old church used to be. Thinking of the fact that the Word was crucified like It is this Good Friday we're talking about. And I thought when that Word was crucified back there on Calvary's Cross, Blood flowed out, the Life flowed out, came back upon the sinner, came back healing the sick, raised the dead, doing great and wonderful things as It ought to have done, my heart was so full of rejoicing, and I was so happy, going to tell the people, because I was going to... I never even got around to it to tell you the truth. I was so happy knowing the Revelation of God, the same Life was pouring forth again by the Crucified Word, because It has been crucified. The same Life that's poured forth, the same Great things of God, that same Spirit, the Spirit of Jesus Christ. Suddenly I realized my... I haven't had the arthritis, that will never be arthritic again. That is a perfect healing from God. 58. We've had in our Church... and you know, everyday is a black Friday. Every day is a Good Friday. They've crucified the world, gross darkness is getting deeper. But you know something, the Light is getting stronger. I hope you get what I'm telling you, it's the truth. The sweet Spirit of Christ is coming in the building, until the sick are being healed. hit, everybody isn't. But you know what? There's enough being healed to make me to know the rest is right on the line. You say, "Bro. Vayle, do you believe that one of these days your Church could possibly have that sweet Spirit of Christ and be no sick amongst us?" I'm banking on it. I'm banking on it. It's still a dark Friday. It took away so much joy from us. So much confusion, so much wondering. What is going on with it? Demonstrated Reality. Listen, that causes problems. I know it does Jack. Roger you know what I'm talking about. You're not kids, you're not babies. Problems makes ones like Bro. Guenther sit up and takes notice. What are you sixty five now Neil? Not so young anymore. Got you beat by nine years. Just hold in there, hold in there, because listen, Sunday morning is coming pretty quick now. 59. Every Church...all right listen, I believe it. You say, "Why?" I can't help believing it. ..."why can't you help?" I don't know!! I don't know! He said, "Take this Message for your healing." I saw vindicated Word of God in this hour. I love Him tonight. It's just like the disciples, it was a peculiar... they loved Him. But He confused them when He died. He made such great promises, and He proved He had the Power, but they were confused. They walked around like zombies [on] Sunday morning. It was so different. The dead came out of the grave. Bro. Branham said, "Caiaphas saw Abraham and Sarah." History absolutely teaches that Caiaphas had a vision and it turned him to Christ. And they said the vision was of Jesus Christ. But a prophet of God said, "It was of Abraham and Sarah." Sunday morning brother/sister... I'm finally happy Jack, you can take it over. Finally feel good in my soul. Finally got that response I love to have within my soul when I preach. Sunday morning is coming brother/sister. Easter is just around the corner. I've had just enough to know in these dark hours of Friday and Saturday, then He Liveth. He's just in another place. He's just in another dimension so that the Word of God that really means everything to us can come forth in Its Power. That's what I'm trying to say about Good Friday brother/sister. It is a Good Friday. It's a black Friday, but it's a Good Friday, it's a dark Friday. But Bush can talk about his thousand points of light, I can talk about One point of Light of the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ. Bro. Branham proved the Resurrection. When a man proves the Resurrection It doesn't need to be proven again. You believe that? Alpha is Omega. Let's rise and be dismissed. Heavenly Father, we're so grateful tonight to know that we can go back just like historians in Your Book. We can see what happened back there. We can enter in how they felt, because we're the same boat. Just to think two thousand years later we can have a vindicated God amongst us, doing the same things done back there. And then see something as it were, taken and crash it to the ground and say, "What's going on anyway?" And realize dark Friday, dark Saturday, comes Sunday morning. The Light shining, God back amongst His people. The Holy Ghost come down, set the Church in order, baptize believers, come again at the last time, bring the Word, restore It. Bring the Church into order. Proclaim a Perfect Bride. Bring Her to the Tree of Life and get Her out of here. And all the while, it was dark in the world, but in Goshen there was Light. No wonder Bro. Branham called that Shalom, I can see why. Father tonight by Thy faith, I want to thank You for the dark days we've gone through. The dark Friday's and Saturday's Lord. Especially Lord, my own pet-peeves and angers, I've had seeing things go on in the world. Where Lord, you know my heart that I am sure nobody to write home about, or even to think about. Yet in my own ignorance and my own meanness and my own way, it's been so hard on the soul and the body and the mind to see things go on, where men have done so wrong with Your Own people Lord, treated the heritage of God as though they were I don't know what. But Lord, through it all, the dark Friday and Saturday, standing here we've begun to see the Light break, and we're so grateful. So marvelous Lord, to see Your children sit under the Word and grow in grace the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To see a love reflected and moving amongst the people where lives are opened lives, there's no more shut doors of mystery and intrigue amongst the people. There's a people that know the humbling, and yet edifying Presence of our God. Father, we want to say we thank You for all that You've done over these twenty five years that Bro. Branham's been gone. Pretty soon twenty five Lord, we know. Pretty soon the space of a half hour or less, something like that Lord. Gone from our midst, but Lord, we know You've been working and soon it'll be over. Father, there could be sick amongst us tonight. There's no doubt sick amongst us. I pray as a prophet prayed, that sweet Spirit of Christ move amongst the people, and let them know there dark days are over. If it's a bit dark now it really doesn't matter, pain, sorrow, disappointment is all but gone, we believe that Lord. I thank You for the healings You've given me Lord, the healings in my home, the healings in other people home. I thank You for it Lord, that sweet Spirit of Christ moving amongst us. Now Heavenly Father if there be any sinners amongst us, anyone.... [Tape ends] Good Friday Message - Page PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 10
