Bro. Lee Vayle, 1/17/93-3/10/93

5min 19sec…The understanding cannot be given to the disobedient. The
understanding cannot be given to those who do not want to learn. But
those that are like babes just freshly weaned from the breast ready now
to absorb the knowledge. And this understanding to the disobedient does
not mean that those people are disobedient who have the Word and know
the light and said I refuse it. The word disobedience there means
‘they simply don’t understand but want to’.

Their hearts and their minds are open and they will receive the light.
Even as Jesus said to the Pharisees. You couldn’t tell them anything
because they knew all the scripture concerning Messiah. But they
didn’t have the revelation concerning it. They would not listen to him
though vindicated as that prophet and he said "I’m going to tell you
something…you are of your father the devil. He was a liar and a
murderer from the beginning; the truth is not in you." And there’s one
specific reason that made the difference. They had no place for the
Word. 

That’s why Brother Branham said categorically anybody said he’s
baptized with the Holy Ghost and denies the Word of God by not saying
amen to every word can no more be baptized with the Holy Ghost than
nothing. Why? Because the same Spirit that they say is upon them and in
them is the One that wrote the Book. So therefore if the Holy Spirit is
with anybody and that anointing is a true anointing, there will be a
verbal, there will be a joyous, there will be a responsive amen to every
word. Particularly to that which is vindicated, so there’s no turning
down of any reality.  

8min 24sec… The same girl told her father who is a preacher; “going
to this church is like nothing, it’s like playing church”. She was
involved in emotions. Now let’s get this flat 100% and once and for
all. You do not judge the Word by the spirit. You judge the spirit by
the Word. I’ve watched them. I’ve seen where they’re going. And I
will be just as pitiless with you. Right. Because I’m standing on my
own two feet and I must answer to God and I am fighting for my life. And
I’m battling against principalities and powers and the root and
foundation of the prince and powers of hell is a perverted word. Now
that’s what we’re studying.

10min 19sec…Now to give you an idea about Doc’s attitude, I was
amazed. He was telling me the other night as he was lying there in bed
just meditating it seemed like the word of the Lord came to him, and
struck him very, very what you might call very strong manner. He said
the very thing that Brother Branham quoted all the time; let every
man’s word be a lie but let Mine be the truth. And he brought out a
very unique revelation on it that I heartily concur with, that there’s
a lot of things in this world that are true. You can’t deny that they
are true. And Brother Branham always said, (now this doesn’t mean Doc
has cancer this is just illustrating), Brother Branham said if you have
cancer don’t deny it. Why? Because there’s a truer Word which makes
every man’s word though true, a lie.

18min 41sec… (Bro Vayle reading from an article) Africans passing from
Benin into slavery brought vote and worship to Haiti and Brazil where it
is mixed with Catholicism and came to be called voodoo. Benin with a
population of 4.9 million is about one quarter Christian, 13% Muslim the
rest follow African religions. Well you can see why she’s going to
have everything in there and you can see why the prophet warned us as he
warned us about mixing the Word illegally. 

28min 35sec…I told you many, many a time here that I’m not a prophet
which you well know. So we don’t have to worry about that one. But you
still don’t understand how anybody else outside of a prophet deals
with the Word of God. Either you read it and forget it and just leave it
there…that becomes a scribe then. But the wise man part is the part
that handles the Word which is a fivefold ministry. And by the way if
you’re not entirely ignorant like one of the men who left here in his
entire ignorance, you’re going to find in the fourth chapter of the
book of Ephesians that the true fivefold ministry is the Holy Ghost to
you. Just like Brother Branham was God to the people.

Now I know that’s a little bit difficult for these high minded people
with great educations to humble themselves. If they’d refrain from
what they’ve…as Abraham Lincoln said it’s better to shut your
mouth and realize and let people think you’re a fool than open your
mouth and prove that you are one. And I’ve got no apology for the
tough things I’m saying because it’s going to be this way from now
on, if you like it or not. No skin off of my nose. I’m here to serve
God and to help those that want help (Brother Vayle emphasizes the word
want).. And you just about lost it. 

???????????...After all these years of teaching, it seems that a couple
little phrases that would mean so much to all of us have sort of been
deleted or put in the back of our minds to the extent that we just
really don't understand the impact of this hour. Number one, Brother
Branham said, "Nothing outside of this Message will come to life."
That's it. Another thing he said, "You don't have a think coming." The
third thing of course is Live, die, sink or swim, this is it. Now, the
last two phrases have given certain people in my memory and in this area
complete fits. Actually to hate those two phrases: You don't have a
think coming. Live, die, sink or swim. Now, this is my little sort of
pastoral message before I get to Brother Branham. Your good works don't
amount to a hill of beans. Your thoughts and your desires and your love
and all of these things without a true revelation put you in debt and
the most you could possible ascribe to if indeed you can would to be a
foolish virgin.

????????????...I'm trying to tell you, Jesus died for what we're getting
today, the Word of God. Paul lost his head for the same word. Peter was
crucified upside down for the same Word. The blood of the martyrs has
always been for the Word! So is it too much for the prophet to tell you,
"Live, die, sink or swim."? 

59min 11sec…After service I will pass out an article, and we can hear
the tape so you will know I didn’t make it up. That John McRae sent
concerning the situation that he knew would be here. He didn’t
appraise me of it, but it’ll be there. Pete brought it, but we have
the tape. You’ll hear it too. And you’ll know for now on if I am
placed as authority in this church to teach you this Word, the first
person that comes against it will come before this entire church and I
will expect you to do what has not been done before. That you listen and
get a spirit on you, (sounds like Bro Vayle pounds pulpit) Right Brother
Gary? Say it out loud ‘Right’. (Bro Gary says ‘Right’.) Thank
you. Did it come from one of those three men? (Bro Gary says yes) Thank
you.

The Bible says rebuke before all that all may fear. After the second
admonition do what? (Comes from congregation ‘reject as a heretic’)
Thank you. You think we’re going to run a social club from now on?
I’ve put with everything and I trust I’m not burdensome and mean to
you. But look I’m fighting for my life and I hate myself more than you
could ever hate me. And I lower myself more than you could ever lower
me. I’ve got a complex too. But I’m going to tell you, I can’t
argue with that. And I will fight for that. And as Brother Branham said
as far as I know; this man spoke the truth, he said “Lee Vayle has
only one fault, he fights for me too much”, and I’ll keep on doing
