4min 58sec… A person’s not a legalist to observe the day we set
aside to commemorate the resurrection. Actually a legalist according to
the old definition, which I have my own understanding. But the
fundamental definition, you go back to the book of Galatians where they
felt that Christ himself was not sufficient. You see? And the sacrifice
the once and for all. Now the legalist says, “Well God did His part
now I got to do mine". Now are you better than Adam? You say, “Well
Adam’s different”. Adam wasn’t different. Adam was absolutely
innocent. He wasn’t righteous. Now he sinned and God had to come down
and make a substitution which was God Himself and the blood allowing Him
to become Adam's own righteousness.

Now if a person puts himself in position saying well (which is true),
“Well, I’m the righteousness of God by rebirth; the shedding of the
blood allowing it." Then you could come to the place where you
wouldn’t even dare to breathe if you really want to be in a mold where
you think you’re going to contribute to anything that God did. But
it’s like Brother Branham said, he said if you’re really born again
you’ll want to please the Lord. And really pleasing the Lord is not a
matter of a legalistic concept. It is a matter of actually knowing what
the Word says and abiding in that Word. So if a prophet comes on the
scene, he says I’m not a legalist but I still don’t do those things
on Sunday which other people do because I want to really commemorate
that day and honor the resurrection from the dead. That doesn’t make
you a legalist to do those things. That makes you a pleaser of God
because you want to please the Lord. 

12min 35sec…Churches are just buildings. It’s the Spirit of God and
the Spirit of God has to be in the people and if it’s going to be the
true Spirit of God baptism, not just an anointing; then it’s got to be
with the Word. You cannot separate Rhema from Logos and Logos from
Rhema. You cannot separate the Holy Spirit from the Word and you cannot
separate the Holy Spirit from the Word especially with people. Now many
people think because there’s an anointing that everything is just
fine, but it’s not. The anointing is just like the people who show a
lot of love and do-good-ism. We’ll talk about that tonight what really
happens.

The love of God shed abroad in our hearts is by the Holy Ghost and if
that Word is not there, there is a false love. I know people don’t
agree with that. They can’t take this kind of preaching…talking. But
I’m going to stay with it because that’s the Bible. By the way did
you happen to know where the verse of Scripture Brother Branham used
that there’s only one sin and that’s unbelief? You know what it is?
Whatsoever is not of faith is sin. Whatsoever is not of faith is sin. Is
that where that is? It is not of faith it is sin. So that’s what he
was using when he said there’s only one sin and that’s unbelief.
Took me 25 years to think of that one; and you set here wanting to get
it all in one hour. Doesn’t come that easy. 

15min43sec… Ask and ye shall receive. One of the most dynamic men I
ever heard in my life was a man named Draffin came out of Canada. He was
a bachelor. Not that that made him a great preacher but he sure was. And
his favorite scripture was “ask and ye shall receive, seek and ye
shall find, knock and it shall be open”. And he arrived at the most
wonderful premise I’ve ever heard of by anybody be it just preacher,
evangelist, teacher, theologian whatever he was.

He said, you see, asking is receiving. Seeking is finding. Knocking is
opening the door.

When I believed that; that’s the night I received what I considered to
be the baptism of the Holy Ghost. That goes for healing. That goes for
everything. And the premise is legitimate because God is faithful. Rhema
and Logos are one and the same. He stands behind His Word to perform it.
There is nothing He doesn’t fulfill. So we have great confidence if we
wish to place our confidence in the right Source which is the vindicated
Word. 

35min…Now what happens is God’s laws are so simple that they have
been overlooked. Overlooking them the doctors have gone to drug therapy
and to operations. And there’s no part of our body that God made,  He
ever said, "Take it away and throw it out." Now I know they think that
about the tonsils and the adenoids. That is a lie. The tonsils are never
infected of themselves. It’s due to the white cells and the germs that
are killed in your body and then they go through the spleen and through
the lymph and the filter system and they end up in the tonsils if the
body is not clearing itself. So you don’t get rid of your tonsils. You
don’t get rid of your appendix. You don’t get rid of anything. You
correct it by working on the whole body.  

39min…And then Brother Branham said and then this is not a final
resort as though we’re saying, "Well I’m going to turn to God now
because God, You’re the last One and we hope You do something."  He
said, "I go to a doctor. I take my children to doctors and when they
cannot go further I take them to the Highest Authority." So if feel we
are dealing with what Brother Branham would deal with himself. He was a
man who was interested in natural process.

39min53sec…We want to thank you again for all the work that’s been
done around here. I notice that things are kept up very nice. I
appreciate that because…hey look… this is the house of the Lord. And
we’re not doing it because we want to look pretty, that isn’t the
point. But we do it because God has been good to us and His world is
full of beauty. And I don’t believe for one minute that Jesus went
down the street looking like a hobo. I don’t believe he did. 

In fact my Bible tells me that he had a seamless garment which was
something of maybe a magnificent gesture, a magnificent garment. And
when they poured the alabaster box of ointment over his feet, and over
his head, where ever the anointing and people said, well hey…Judas
said, "Well that could be better spent some place else." He said no. He
said, "You got the poor with you always; me you got." And He’s in our
presence today. How we ought to respond looking at those gospels and
seeing where they missed it. We don’t want to miss those things at all
do we? 

45min 08sec…I think myself really that when I kind of had the feeling
that Houston would be the last meeting, I don’t think I’ll be
changing my mind. I’m always open to change my mind if I feel some
good can be done about it which I’m not sure. I think pretty well we
are to the place where …what would we say…of the dividing of the
roads, I think so. I think you’ll find that you’ll be more isolated
than you been previously. Not just because I say that and because I feel
it myself. I notice that all around there’s more and more isolation. I
believe that this is going to be the tenor of the future because we will
be heading into depression. You might as well know that. We’re already
into it according to what the papers are saying. 

Brother Branham in Jezebel Religion warned us. We just went over that
what paraphrase means. That the last depression which some of you
don’t know a thing about, but some of you do. I certainly know about
it. That will look like a Sunday school picnic and believe me I don’t
like Sunday school picnics. So I’m not trying to scare anybody but the
thing is this. You have to be ready for it. You have to have been
preparing for it. I don’t know what God has in store for us. 

I’ve been told but I don’t it’s the truth that Brother Branham
supposed to have said…I think it was Billy Paul I’m not sure
now…that he refrained especially, in fact it’s on a tape, how he did
not tell us everything. But what was coming upon the world he didn’t
want to make the people nervous by what’s coming. Well, I don’t know
what’s coming on the world but I know that things are coming and I’m
just as nervous as you are in a sense that I certainly don’t want it.
But perhaps you get my age, you’re more equipped to say well I can lie
down and die. Maybe die a little quicker than you. You have more
stamina, I don’t know. I might be tougher than any of you.

Tougher old buzzard, I don’t know. I mean the thing is I don’t know
so I can’t call the shots. But I do know we come together here to know
the Word not to fellowship though fellowship is great. We come to know
the Word which alone can give us strength. The Word that Eve got from
behind, and that’s not good English, but she got from behind the Word
and from that time on we’ve all had trouble. And there’s only one
way to restore the world back to the Tree of Life and Millennium and
there’s a lot of peculiar questions about the Millennium. I don’t
have the answers.

I know there’s only one way to get right back behind that Word. There
isn’t any other way. And there cannot be any word but the Word of God.
And remember back in the garden it was very, very simple. It just said
don’t eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of good and evil. It wasn’t
any hard command. It just said, “Hey! There’s lots of food out there
but don’t get embroiled in that.” Now what is food? Food means I
take in order to sustain. It means sustaining life. Well translate that
into the sex act, that’s exactly what it was. Sustaining of life and
bringing it forth; the act in itself not wrong. But who it was with and
when it was done, because Brother Branham said they’d of come to it
anyway.

So look it, everything in life is ultra simple if we just leave it with
God. And what did He tell us this hour? The Word is restored and we get
behind that Word and that’s all you have to do. You’re not ask to
exhibit the Word although there is a certain portion that we obey
that’s true. We’re not ask to produce it. There’s only one thing
we’re ask, not even to live it although we should live some of it at
least. But we’re ask to believe it. And that’s what you’re looking
at.

So it doesn’t really matter what goes on in the world out here because
I’m going to tell you honestly there’s nothing out here that’s
going to encourage you because it’s finished. It’s finished, it’s
over. Everything that can be shaken is shaken down. Right after the
shaking down comes Consuming Fire. So our God is a Consuming Fire.
It’s already started with the Pillar of Fire. But that’s not the
fire that burns you. No that’s just the obvious manifestation of where
the Holy Spirit is moving and dwelling, and we’re allowed to take His
picture. That’s God you might say in His Own formula. But when He
brings that fire, that’s a different thing entirely; neither root nor
branch is going to stand. And that could start just any time. 

Nineteen ninety one? Nineteen ninety two? Who knows? But these things we
must look at and realize. Listen we cannot be here very much longer. And
the Bible says the Bride has made herself ready. How does she make
herself ready? Get right behind that Word, just behind it. It’s a
matter of faith. By grace are you saved through faith and that not of
yourself.

Live by the faith of the Lord Jesus Christ, dead to everything else. How
is it done? It’s done by your faith and my faith. So that’s the
thing we’re looking at today more than anything. And that’s why I
say that churches that believe like we do will be more and more
isolated. Certainly because the more isolation…it doesn’t mean
you’ll have more light but it means the more light you have the more
isolation there is going to be, that’s right. Look at your church
history. Always light brings isolation.

The world doesn’t understand light. See? There’s no way the world
can understand the manifestation of God that proves He’s a living God
He’s dealing with us. They can’t take manifestation. They can take
anything but that, they can’t do it. That is when it comes to
vindicated Word. But you give them any manifestation apart from the
vindicated Word they fall for it like ten pins. So we got troublous
times coming but we got great times coming. What can you do about it but
just relax as it were like Paul said at the end time. No matter what
comes, stay behind the Word of the Living God and that’s what counts.

52min 14sec…Now in the mean time we haven’t had a question/answer
period for a long time. We’ve taken so much of Brother Branham’s
material and I’ve said so much concerning it that you may have some
questions. It’s good to write them down and bring them and we’ll
discuss the questions with you in case some of the things have not been
too clear. 

And I’ll admit that though I may say things twenty, thirty times and
hear brother Branham say them forty and fifty times; it may take years
for the thing to be suddenly come into perfect perspective to where the
thing becomes very, very real. So don’t be embarrassed if a lot of
things are not real to you. Believe me they’re not real to me either.
I just keep going over them hoping one day that suddenly there’ll be a
break of light that it says hey this is really it and it comes. See
takes a long time. But remember this; you have to start with your step
of faith by saying it.

Now you may be here this morning…and I’m taking time but don’t
worry I’m going to try to cut back on my notes. But listen some of you
this morning may be wondering; was Brother Branham really vindicated?
Was he really infallible? Let me tell you how to look at that. Talk
about it and say he was. Against what you call your better judgment
which really means this; the grip that Satan’s got on you through your
mind and spirit. Say what is absolutely the truth. The man was a
vindicated and he was infallible in that pulpit preaching that Word. And
the infallibility lay in the fact that never once did Whoever was behind
him ever let him down. 

And it’s involved in spirituality and in worship. That’s the One I
want to get to, call Him God call Him anything. You can even be like
Paul and call Him a fraud. But when you’re faced with that which
cannot be explained except in terms of something of the magnitude of
what we call God, you had better try to find out Who That is. And
you’re not going to find out by saying “Well, hey that man could
be!”, when you can’t even produce enough moisture to wet your
eyeball without God or one heart tick or one breath.

And so sometimes it’s hard because you go against what you think is
your own conscience and your own little beautiful in-depth truth that
you have in your lovely little soul. God bless your rottenness. Now
I’m talking from my own heart and my own experiences what I went
through. Right! If you haven’t gone through, you haven’t gone
through anything. You’ve got to buck yourself. You got to take your
stand with it until it becomes real and genuine. Waiting for the day
when Whoever was behind that Word does what He proved He was doing and
yet would do. See what I’m talking about? So don’t feel bad.
You’ve been had for six thousand years by the devil. Jesus was only
history to you. But now you saw something.

56min…And as the people were generous at one time and smart enough to
say, “This is the first time we had a ministry like Jesus come to this
earth in two thousand years. There’s been nothing like it”. But you
see when it came to their minds and they had to put their minds down and
say this man has to be infallible in some way shape and form. What is it
all about? They said, "Oh no." Their pure little heart, I read last
night wicked hands crucified him and killed him. The kind old priest had
no trouble spitting in his face shoving a sword in his side. Not that he
himself did it, but he paid the others to do it. And he took his stand
with the devil. 

You know? Those people did not see even as much as we saw in America
here. As Brother Branham said, "He had more success in my life and my
ministry than he had in his own." That was not the bold statement of the
imagination of a poor little puffed up and misguided Kentuckian. It was
a historian fact that goes down in eternity, standing before the White
Throne and cannot be denied. It's true.
